Just had stay with post wedding party Resort was amazing- food, service, facilities Couldn’t praise it more
Beautiful stay. Great for families. Staff all so friendly and rooms were immaculate
Stayed in a 2 bedroom spa room and loved it. Great stay
Absolutely beautiful stay I recommend this to any family or couple wanting to get away
Loved absolutely everything. Great Family Holiday
The staff are very friendly and helpful 🙂
Well Maintained and great amenities. Pool and the hot tub were well maintained. Great tasting food in the restaurant.
Had a great stay
I’m sorry but this is not a five star resort. The resort is tired and in need of a refresh. Our room was so basic but for just under $400 a night I expect more. There is not enough staff but those we did encounter were friendly. We ordered lunch at the lagoon bar, just a chicken burger and chips but it was barely warm and tasted of nothing. Very limited choice of meals. We ate all meals outside the resort which were all fabulous. I think you know a resort is confident on their level of service when you checkout, they ask “how was your stay?”, not here just did you have anything from the minibar and have a nice day. Not even can we assist with a taxi etc to your next destination. Would definitely not stay here again, Palm Cove is lovely and there are many real five star options to choose next time.
The property could do with a bit of an upgrade. The walkways had broken tiles in several areas. The furniture didn’t match. The pool area is lovely and generally has a relaxing vibe. The pool bar is very accommodating.
Unfortunately the only restaurant is no longer open Sunday or Monday. Poolside bar and snacks not available until 11:30am any day. Breakfast was very good. 10 minute walk into Palm Cove.
Lovely stay at a first class resort!
The pool was lovely. Two pools actually. Disappointed the lap pool wasn’t heated. Only went in the main pool twice as the water was too cold. I could see other people felt the same.
Many bugs
There are 3 pools and multiple spas, so lots of space to chill out. The pools are by far the best thing about the resort.
Booked a resort view and it overlooked the swamp/mangroves that stunk. The room was filthy with lip gloss and packets of tablets under the couch. The floor was covered in food and dirty as well as having an unpleasant odour. Really unimpressed and disappointed to the point we cancelled our stay and went home.
We stayed in room 310. I spoke with Andrew before we got there and he told me we had a view of the beach. There was no view of the beach we had a view of mangroves with some waterway mudflap. We asked Andrew if we could move rooms as we found it difficult to catch 2 lifts and walk to the other side of the resort with 4 kids and a pram, his response was that unfortunately he needed to look after other guests and could not help with no resolution. I need to add this person has no idea about customer service and should not work in this industry he just repeats himself with ‘unfortunately he can’t help’ as this was his same response when asked for a late check out, his response’I need to look after the other guest and unfortunately I can’t help you and continuously repeats himself with no resolution. I must say it was actually laughable buffet breakfast was not great average at best. The pool was OK. Fairly dirty lots of leaves. This resort is not a 5 star resort I probably wouldn’t rate it a 3 star. I would like to add Kenji at front desk was lovely to deal with and also there was a lovely gentleman at breakfast there this is the only reason why I would give this resort any stars..
Overall it’s a nice hotel, room was clean. But way to many bugs I think for it being a 5 star there shouldn’t be so many mosquitos and other bugs all over the lifts,
Excellent stay, nice resort facilities, clean, prompt staff
Was a disappointed that we could not use the TV. It was locked to the person that owned the room. We couldnt use Netflix, Disney ect. We tryed to put our own account on it but it was locked. Could not ever share to the TV. Normal coffee would have been better than the expresso machine. No salt or pepper in room. Light in room very difficult to shut it out even when curtains where closed. People on top floor neeb to be considert of people under them. We could hear the people upstairs from 7am everyday.
Underwhelming experience for a 5 Star Pullman hotel. Spent just over $1500 for 4 nights stay but should have paid extra to stay elsewhere. We were in a room that had very noisy surroundings including continuous slamming doors and voices throughout the night as well as lawn mowers in the morning so needless to say sleep was missing a lot of the nights from our holiday. We complained the second day to the manager and asked if could move rooms, intially it took him a long time to actually understand what we were complaining about and in the end just told us the hotel was full and couldn't do anything. He could have at least said if a room becomes available I will contact you. Looking online there were actually rooms available but obviously at a higher rate so he didn't want to accommodate that. I highly recommend looking at other accommodation at Palm Cove before you consider Pullman, the pool is large and nice but that's really all it has going for it.
Quiet spot along the beach. Great pool area for young children.
Nice layout particularly in pool area. Staff very attentive and friendly even when experiencing heavy workload. Room was comfortable and inviting. Food was good quality and nicely presented but perhaps a tad overpriced. Gym was poorly equipped ( no free weights) and in need of maintenance.
If you have kids - or want a generational holiday - this is ideal. If you want a couple’s getaway don’t. Should be noted rooms don’t match the standard of the communal area.
The property itself is lovely. The staff were helpful. Dinner was delicious. Our room however wasn’t very clean and had a manky smell. We tried to stay in the communal spaces, which were very pleasant
Over rated, overpriced, much better elsewhere!
Overpriced $ over-rated. Room was dated, in serious need of a refurb, definitely not up to standard. It wasn't cleaned properly each day, despite me asking, the outdoor sofa was so dirty that we didn't want to sit on it. Bizarrely there were cloth European blinds in the room that were ill fitting, mechanism didn't really work, they were dirty & torn. The bed was the same, photo showing how they made it just throwing my pjs on sidetable. Customer service was seriously lacking. When I asked the bar tender if they could bring our drinks over her response was no, we don't provide table service as there are too many guests & not enough staff. When I mentioned that our jug of cocktails would therefore have to sit in the sun poolside & go warm, her response was 'well drink it quickly'! They messed up our transfers, didn't communicate it with us & we almost missed our flight. Food was okay but not particularly good & overpriced. They messed up our bill, charging us for an expensive meal in their restaurant that wasn't ours. Location was great. Definitely not as good as it used to be and yet they are still charging quite high prices. When I asked to speak with the manager about a number of issues we were having I was advised that she had just quit/left and there wasn't a replacement as yet. Their only saving grace was a staff member called Natalie, she was absolutely amazing and a credit to the hotel. We definitely wouldn't stay there again unless they improved.
The pool was nice,
Beautiful resort in an amazing location. Easy walk to everything but nice and quiet and sheltered from the windy coast. Staff were friendly and food and drinks very reasonably priced.
My favourite hotel in palm cove so far and here it’s a place where customers actually gets recognised. If I could rate you guys 10-10 I would definitely do it. Thanks for awesome hospitality over the weekend! I will definitely come back
Great place to stay, staff were very helpful.
Great place to stay and relax. Staff are very friendly and always helpful. The pools and surrounding areas are great to relax and enjoy a drink.I’d highly recommend this place.
Perfect island escape. Spacious rooms, comfortable bedding and great location. Unfortunately the beach area is unsafe with wild crocs but pools are nice
Everything was amazing, beautiful and incredible service.
Child friendly resort
Simply stunning location. Short walk to town. Friendly staff. The main pool though.. too hot! Too hot to swim in fact. Which is a shame because it's a stunning pool. Big shout out to Kazumi and her co worker the day we checked in (22nd). They were so friendly and an absolute delight. We were very impressed by their customer service.
Stayed for 6 days in a 2 Bedroom room, which was perfect for us as a couple with a teenage daughter. The room was well appointed with a kitchen, Dining and living areas. The resort staff were very friendly and helpful and the facilities are great with a lagoon pool, lap pool and kiddies pool. It was very hot while we were there and it took us a day to work out that the water temp in the lap pool is cooler than the lagoon pool. It's an easy walk to the esplande and restaurants and shops. There is lots of parking in a basement car park, and we'd hired a car which made it easy to access the entire area including driving to Cairns for Reef tours and up to Port Douglas and surrounds.
A well located property, with a range of restaurants nearby and comfortable, well appointed rooms and facilities. The hotel was clean, if a little ageing. Access to meals was a little limited because of the hours of the poolside bar and the bookings for the on-site restaurant, but having a car made getting supplies in easier.
It’s an absolutely beautiful property with an almost perfect location within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Our only complaint is the very thin walls. The room next to us came in @11pm and it was soooo loud we actually thought they were somehow in our room bc it was extremely loud and woke us up from a dead sleep. We actually chose a different resort on our next stop through the city bc of how loud it was.
Amazing property in a quiet & peaceful location. Tucked away from the main Palm Cove area which makes parking easy. Rooms were cleaned regularly with service and staff of high quality. Would highly recommend it.
Unable to get in to the restaurant for dinner even though we were house guests. Shabby. Worst room in the house for outlook. Not value for money. Very disappointing.
Fantastic property Very friendly staff all around Fantastic food served in the temple of tastes and just an all round great place to stay in palm cove wouldn’t pick anywhere else
Resort was in a great location, staff were friendly and helpful. I found the property to be a little tired and in need of some general maintenance. Room rate should include breakfast at $850 per night.
Very hot around the pool area set back from beach and vegetation blocks the sea breeze paid extra for 1 bedroom unit had no view looked over the roof of the restaurant staff wete excellent
Food apart from breakfast left a bit to be desired Limited selection and quality not up to the standard of the rest of the resort
A great property. Clean, on the beach, large pool, friendly staff and easy walk to town.
Accommodation was fantastic. Staff were amazing. Thank you.
Nice place and excellent staff.
The staff at this hotel were the highlight of my stay. Friendly, helpful and know their jobs well. I stayed 8 nights and every interaction from check-in to check-out was positive. Thankyou for the great stay .. hang on to those ones Pullman you've got some real gems.
Amazing facilities and friendly staff. The location is perfect with everything a very short walk away. Stayed in 2 bedroom apartment has everything you need
Beautiful room with decent size bathroom. Second pillow was a little flat but amazing soft blankets available. Restaurant at the resort is incredible and has amazing food. Amazing pools and bar which you can order from and enjoy cocktails by the pool.
couple break for two nights
Palm Cove is a beautiful little village with a great vibe. The hotel is situated perfectly just five minutes walk to the bars and cafes. The staff are lovely and pools are great. Clearly struggling like many others due to COVID but would recommend. Food at restaurant was fantastic if willing to splurge on a treat.
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, room location, food, notable staff - max on front desk and the breakfast crew in the restaurant.
🤗🤗
Staff at front desk were very friendly/happy/smiling on both check in and check out. Fantastic place to stay, we will be back with the kids.
Perfect for the family stay. The staff were wonderful and helpful always.
Very disappointing stay with you this time. We are cairns locals and often stay with you. This time it was a tiny room, almost felt like we were shuffled out the back. The room smelt and was dirty, it was very noisy for spa and people upstairs. Almost unbearable. The pool was dirty and the pool lounges were stained and old. The pool bar didn’t open. We ordered room service that was uncovered and cold, no cutlery provided or salt and pepper. The breakfast disappointing. Very over priced but I was prepared to pay for a get away. Only to be told at check in I could have got a locals deal and got it was cheaper. Won’t be rushing back. Very sad.
This is our third trip to the Pullman Palm Cove Sea Temple Resort and Spa and we enjoyed our stay as much as our previous stays. The service is consistently good and with it's location on the beach a great place to stay. We'll be back.
Great location, great staff, decent size rooms, food is good but a bit overpriced. The resort is looking a bit tired and could do with a good deep clean and a bit of maintenance. I’d stay again though.
Maybe 3stars would be more correct
Everything was veery dated and room wasn’t that clean. couldn’t even call reception from the room as neither of the phones worked. Refrigerator doors were was integrated to the kitchen cabinet, but Not anymore. There were ants on our toilet Seat. Pool area was nice in the evening when it got dark.
Reception, restaurant and general staff were all helpful. Cant say i am a fan of rooms with glass walls to toilet and bathroom, the rooms where you mist need some sort of privacy. Would not stay again as the competition in that area is hot.
The staff were so friendly and made us feel right at home
I love the location, the staff were amazing and so nice and welcoming. The resort is absolutely beautiful, will definitely be back
Location fabulous. Property is large and pool is excellent. Facilities are tired and furniture needs a complete replace. Staff were lacklustre until I complained. Then lifted their game. Slightly. Alvin the assistant manager needs retraining. He’s got no idea how to deal with high expectations from customers. . Pool bar food was below average, and way overpriced. All in all, this resort has fantastic potential, in a great location, but it needs money spent on an overhaul, better staff and a revamp of pool bar and menu.
great pool, fabulous staff and excellent location. the room size was big, however the unexpected additional charge for a roll away bed was disappointing. room a little dated and some mould in the bathroom
Very nice looking property but needs a bit of maintenance and updating in rooms. The toilet flush button was rusty/worn out, the tap casing was popping off and the dining table was well worn in our unit. Our single room had a mildew smell. There was an initial reservation problem that the management tried very hard to resolve to the best of their ability. They initially offered us a 2 room musty apartment that was full of someones personal belongings much like an air-b-n-b rental. I was paying for a 5* resort not an air b-n-b. We had to settle for a single room separated from our kids and Grandmother on the other side of the resort. Not ideal! Hotel refunded us the daily difference. I saw some roof panels hanging by one screw lopsided. The pool needs more staff as I saw used dishes and coctail glasses sit by the pool for hours. The staff are friendly and were most helpful in assisting with a Great Barrier Reef day tour. The buffet breakfast is well stocked early in the morning only in our experience. Some of the staff are bossy and grumpy. Omelette service painfully slow and food was mostly gone at 7:30 am one morning with very little of it being replenished. There was a severe shortage of salt and pepper shakers. We had to go around to 3-4 tables every morning trying to find one with working salt dispenser. The staff on New Year's Day were by far the best in the restaurant out of the 4 am's we ate breakfast. Overall good experience but definitely not 5* resort.
I would highly recommend this property. The pool and staff made our stay really enjoyable. Natalie at front desk was absolutely fantastic. Cleanliness of our room needs more attention, especially bathroom and toilet.
We thought this was going to be a quiet, romantic resort getaway, it was not quite that. There were constantly children running around and yelling. This was not much of an issue, but would have been very nice if there would’ve been a place for adults to get away. We had the “king” suite, which was actually just 2 twin mattresses shoved together, which led to a big gap forming throughout the night. This was disappointing but the stay was nevertheless decent. The location was good, Palm cove is a very nice little town! The area is beautiful!
The staff were lovely and very attentive , I would say that the bathroom
Our family of 4 booked a twin room with a balcony overlooking the pool. We absolutely loved it! The location of the resort was somewhat tucked away but only a few minutes from the main street. Plenty of space for the kids to run around and bedrooms were positioned on opposite sides of the apartment when quiet time was needed. The lagoon pool was a favourite with the kids even though lap and kids pool were used the only downside was that they contained leaves and insects which i was stung by but that's life in the tropics. Staff were all brilliant, very friendly and helpful. Beds were made, toiletries replenished and dishes were washed daily. We would definitely stay here again.
Wonderful Beachfront Resort!
VERY friendly and helpful staff! The one bedroom apt we stayed in was first class. We had a wonderful stay. The resort is on a long and beautiful beach (but it’s a bit of a downer that you can’t go into the water due to the threat of crocodiles!). The pools and surrounding area of Palm Cove are fantastic!
Likes - staff were all very polite and helpful - one of the hotels best amenities. Dislikes - poor standard of rooms for five star hotel. We couldn't use our ground floor balcony due to ants. Generally in need of upgrading. Gym needs updating too - no free weights section. Generally poor air con in the hotel. Just not good enough for a five star property.
The first room we got wasn’t right, they quickly and promptly gave us a different and great room.
Room was spacious. Beds & bathrooms were great. Lounge furniture not very comfortable. Pool bar understaffef, dining & bar $$$
Great location, the staff went out of their way to help in any way
we would have liked a room with a view to the pool.
We asked for a quiet room away from any elevators. I think they thought to themselves “let’s pick the worst possible room in the noisiest possible location with the worst outlook and let’s give it to these suckers”. We were basically in a room in the middle of a worksite renovation! We couldn’t use our courtyard because it was being used as a dumping ground for all the tradies excess scaffolding and there was a pump that ran from a tap outside our room that ran for 3 of the 5 days pumping away so loud ALL DAY we could barely hear ourselves think. On the 4th day the tradies decided it would be a great day to take the scaffolding down and make as much noise as possible and when we I went out with my phone to record all the noise I think they were all surprised to see that there were actually people staying in these rooms and one guy actually apologised profusely for all the noise they’d been making. So basically our much anticipated dream Palm Cove holiday turned into a worksite nightmare with no serenity whatsoever. I mean what kind of management puts a couple literally into a dangerous worksite and thinks that’s acceptable at any time, let alone a supposed 5 star hotel that’s meant to value its guests happiness and enjoyment? Surely there was another quiet room away from elevators in another part of this huge resort that they could have put us? A lack of common sense and common decency seems to be a real issue for the hotel staff here. Very, very disappointing.
Beautiful setting, great for couples, walking distance to nearby palm cove, staff do very well in making you feel welcome....great place to make memories.
Constantly tradies walking in front of a private room patio, no privacy whatsoever. Used the
Did not have access to movies in room. A bit disappointing
The resort itself is elegant and functional ( places to relax, swim, eat, bar area great, reception area spacious with plenty of sitting space, buffet breakfast was of a very high quality, great coffee, room was terrific, balcony with couch, restaurant was excellent) Staff everywhere were friendly, pleasant, helpful and very professional. Great place we will come back again.
Great location and wonderful customer service. Will stay here again.
Too many workman around the pool area for a busy period. Gym had poorly maintained equipment such as the rowing machine. Staff were good especially Ben in the restaurant
Was fantastic, staff were very helpful and polite. The renovations were the only disappointment.
A lovely resort with great staff and service. The 5 minute walk to and from main Esplanade area along a partly dimly lit road was the only downside.
Very clean, spacious apartments, with all amenities and great service definitely worthy of 5 stars. Location is also great with direct beach access and a short beach walk to Palm Cove shops and restaurants. Food and breakfast was OK but slightly underwhelming, would say the food was 4 stars not 5, but Palm Cove restaurants are close as an alternative.
Room was terribly overpriced. Was worth $120 a night, at best, not $339. Room smelt moldy, air conditioner sounded like a car running in the room all night, could hear every sound from outside the room, TV was tiny, shower over bath with bath tap stopping you being able to stand under shower, bathroom needed a thorough clean. Not luxury at all, felt like a cheap motel. Really disappointed
The hotel and restuarant were amazing but the rooms were very noisy. You could often hear neighbours and the noise from the outside airconditioning units was very very loud throughout the night
Very well presented, but no mention of construction when booked
I thought the room was ridiculously overpriced for what we got. We had lunch at the hotel whilst waiting to check in and waited 45 mins for a burger and chips which came out cold. The room was small and overlooked the main road which I thought for $379 a night would be a nicer positioned room. The light outside the door to our room couldn’t be turned off and was so bright that the room looked like it was daytime even with the door shut and pillows along the bottom. Definitely wouldn’t stay again or recommend to people when looking for somewhere to stay in Cairns. For our first child free night away in 2 and a half years we were disappointed.
We had a poor experience on checkin with the manager. The young staff member was great. The manager tried to charge us way above the current rates when we asked if we could upgrade to a one bedroom apartment. She firstly said it would be at least an extra $100 per night. Then she said she was doing us a favour at $80 per night.when I showed her her own website had the gap at $60 per night she eventually came down to $65. She was also dismissive of wotif.
Beautiful setting with tropical gardens. Food is over priced and AVERAGE Room was dirty with hair in bathroom. Balcony outlook had dirty tracks and mould
Our stay at the Sea Temple Palm Cove was fantastic for myself, my husband and three kids aged 16, 12 and 11. The pool is great for the whole family and pool side bar great for drinks and snacks while you relax. The room was spacious with enough room for us all. Close walk to shops and restaurants, would definitely stay again.
Resort was beautiful and clean, pools were really good. Nice and quiet. The kids games room needs to be improved with maybe some paid gaming machines
Brilliant, relaxing escape. Weather, environment & amenities allowed you to be close to Palm Cove central but feel you were in a secluded space away from the hustle. Day Spa Service was fantastic .
Excellent pool area, need more restaurant menu options
Great short stay
Excellent stay for two nights. Customer service was amazing; Scott at the front desk was always willing to help. We booked a one bedroom suite and couldn’t believe the size of the room. Several large pools and two hot tubs as well. 3 minute walk to all the restaurants in town. Plan ahead, most restaurants close by 830pm.
Amazing hotel, nice vibe! Very happy to stay again
Good location. Close to the beach and restaurants. Quiet and relaxing
It is a beautiful property on a perfect location and just a short walk to the shops and restaurants in Palm Cove. The stunning pools surrounded by lush vegetation make you feel like you're a million miles away but it's the friendliness of the staff that is the standout feature. Nothing was too hard for them and with each encounter they went above and beyond for us.
A little bit out of town but a fabulous location. Relaxed atmosphere. Wi-fi connection and coverage poor.
The Hotel itself was nicely situated swimming pools and the weather made it for me. The restaurant had a good selection of food and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The only problem I found was not having a car to get around

Its nice but nothing special
