No minibar, no amenities, 1 small water for 2 guest not enough
Need a kettle, tea and coffee in room. Breakfast excellent.
Great experience except for the gym and daily protests outside on the streets.
Wouldn't go again
Small, drab room with tatty out of date fittings. Location good. Very expensive due to festival.
They didn't have the room we had booked (double, not twin), then charged for an upgrade that was no bigger than the regular rooms. Terrible.
Excellent location and high quality hotel. Appointments felt upscale and the glass shower with rain shower head was wonderful after a long day of travel. The bed was a bit firm but that just personal preference. Quiet at night. Breakfast is worth the price.
EXCELLENT LOCATION
The hotel is just a short walk from the central station and in the middle of the main shopping area. My room was modern, spacious and comfortable and both room and bathroom were spotlessly clean.
Quiet room. Close to train. About a mile from historic area
Great location
Great location within a short walk to HBF, lots of retail around, very friendly staff and a quiet room.
Everything was excellent.
Overall this is a great place to stay. Check in was a bit difficult but mainly my fault. I was very tired, was asked for my passport which the clerk took, she noted information from it, gave it back and I put it away. Then she had me fill out the registration and ordered me to write my passport number and date of birth. I suggested she already had this and was informed that there are rules in Germany and that is how we do it. I'm Canadian and those would be fighting words at home but I understand I am in a different country. Other than that the hotel is great with a good sauna open 16:00 to 22:00 and the breakfast buffet is superb! There could be in room coffee however as having to get dressed before having coffee is tough for an old guy like me
You can keep away from unnecessary house keeping for environmental protection reason. If you can donate the cost of house keeping, it would be better.
Great location, with lots of vegetarian-friendly restaurants within 50m—guests should go to any of them rather than the hotel restaurant. Room design sacrificed function to make the room seem bigger than it was—a giant mirror where the tv should be, and a glass box for a shower stall. The tiny room with the toilet, the open sink area, and the shower all had bright lights on a single switch. Room was an ok size, so seemed pointlessly difficult.
Old small creepy room, huge disappointment
Right in the heart of Dresden and a 3 minute walk to the train station.
Excellent place and prime location. Would recommend staying here!
We had stayed there before, so if we went back...it means that we liked it.
This is a classy place. It has a restaurant in the hotel which is nice. The entrance, elevators, halls, etc are well taken care of, I felt safe and comfortable.
Rather nice hotel with open plan reception and bar area, easy access to train and shopping and only 15 minutes to the old town and river. Rooms was clean and had nice table and chairs with window views, a safe and wardrobe room. Alas the 'classic' room was just too small for two people with a suitcase each. there is nowhere to open it up, so it required use of the bed or coffee table. I'm also not a fan of the glass walled shower and bathroom, because even with a curtain it meant rescued privacy of sound and light, especially disturbing if one of you uses the facilities in the night and thus wakes up the other.
I liked what I liked
Easy access to city and station. Clear.
Not my type of hotel.
Very central location
A nice stay
A new, modern design hotel. There are so much shops and restaurants nearby. Close to the train station. Room is clean and tidy. Breakfast is very good. I get a room at high level with excellent city view. Overall, my stay is very nice.
Dog friendly, only 10€ a night extra for my dog. Our view was great. The staff was super nice and spoke good English. My phone charger stopped working the second day and they had phone charging boxes which was convenient since it was Sunday so no stores were open to buy a new cord.
Very well located, close to train station, old town, and malls. Very good breakfast with many choices ! Definitely recommend !
The location is good, near the train station and shopping malls and many restaurants and a short leisure walk to major attractions. But this Pullman is not the Pullman I experienced before in other places. It was outdated. One of the quilt is so worn-out that there were holes there.
Location was good and the hotel had a nice view. Parking is a bit far.
Nice place to stay.
Good location, good amenities and convenient.
conveniently located, friendly personel, convenient price
A Half-Decent Hotel.
The hotel needs work. The fridge did not work in a consistent manner and the air conditioning was absolutely pitiful. You really need to do do something about that.
Everything is good, convenient to go everywhere. lovely hotel .
The Pullman Dresden Newa is very close to the main railway station and the city centre.
Good location and nice room, but check ur charges
Good location, room is good and clean. However, reception service level is just ok due to language barrier. And a bit delay at checkout due to double charged of breakfast and we have to wait for the refunds. It will be great if the hotel/reception staff can explain/show the payment invoice before charge.
Nothing to wow about. We chose it only because of its location. A very basic room.
Good Location - Close to Main Rail Station
Good located hotel and very close to the main rail station around a 5min walk. Rooms were clean and had a view with floor to ceiling windows. The room had a glass shower which may not suit everyone. The hotel was in a great position to see the sites of the old city of Dresden within a 10-15 minute walk. The room was not ready when we arrived but we were able to store our bags and the staff were always helpful. Check in and check out was quick and easy. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Great hotel and perfectly situated...walking distance from the main train station.
Good location but ...
The location was fantastic for us - close to the train station, easy walking distance to all the tourist attractions in Dresden and the immediate vicinity had great shopping and facilities. The reception staff were very helpful and check in and check out was very easy. The room was comfortable. The flip side was the amenities in the hotel, there was only 1 piece of fitness equipment that worked properly, the relaxation room was not as tidy and clean as I expected, the Rubbish in our room wasn’t collected and I think it would have been nice to know that the bathroom had a curtain as opposed to a wall which was challenging in terms of light
The hotel is in a great location. Steps from the Hauptbahnhof and near lots of restaurants and shopping. There is one big problem. There is NO air con. The temp outside was 20 and it must have been 35 in my room. If it was a heatwave, it would have been intolerable.
A Good Choice!
Big, modern hotel within easy walking distance of Dresden main railway station. Hosts large tour groups!
Good hotel
Got separated beds and when called the reception had no answer few times so give up.
All was perfect but for lack of forced exhaust ventilation
perfect possition for transport, shopping and only 15mins walk to the old town
Comfortable and planned with travellers in mind. Clean room, great breakfast, super access to the train station and the tram system.
Great location
Excellent hotel in great area with shops restaurants at your door. About 10 min walk to old town. Could not change room temperature with room being a little bit too warm
Great stay and location perfect
Love the hotel and great location. Close to train and walkable to old city. Would have been perfect if tea making facilities was included. Would stay again.
Overall good and WiFi could be better
In general it is nice experience to be there, the font desk staff is nice and friendly, cleaning staff is friendly too. An area could be better is that the WiFi. On the morning I was about to check out, I woke up at 5am and I could not login the hotel WiFi in my room. It could be the hotel policy to stop the service on the day the customer check out. But at that time I had not check out so in theory I am still the customer of the hotel. I would suggest an ideal situation is that the hotel to stop the WiFi service after the customer check out, could show considerate and customer centric.
Great location from the train station
The room is a little cramped but otherwise ok. It is a 15 m walk to the attractions so it is not too bad. There are a lot of cafes n stores close by so purchasing water or misc is great. 4.2 overall.
Fantastic relaxing business hotel.
This is a high end hotel next to the Hbf and its open space market (PragueStr) All public transport is accessible, has underground parking area. Something that counts a lot for me is the staff all of whom were GREAT and VERY flexible and KIND. This is the place to be if you want to work or relax or shop or all of these.
Highly recommended
We would definitely recommend Dresden be added to anyones must see City bucket list. The Pullman Newa was perfectly located for the main train station and tram links allowing easy acces to the city's many sights. The rooms were well appointed, clean and comfortable; an ideal base for a mini-break. All the hotel staff we encountered were all very helpful. The buffet breakfast offering was fantastic and a great way to set you up for a days sightseeing.
clean, modern and very near old city and transport
A little problem with English. Been told i was not a Superior customer. Again English. They were not being rude. They did everything i asked. Good breakfast. Better than NA. Good position to see all of the Old Town with some walking. Small fridge in room to be able to bring in food. Drug store across the walking area..close to main Station. Stores closeby.
Strategic location with lots of restaurants and shops nearby
sorry no earlier check in and do not bother to ask
Unfriendly receptist refused to even check any possibilities for the early check in for us. She repeated 3 times like a machine to answer our question: check in is at 3 pm. We have to wander in the street like dogs in order to kill that 3 hours after a tired long train journey! Horrible service and not recommended for anyone.
Room is nice, shower is very nice, location is excellent. But the WiFi didn’t stretch to my room (216) so I could only use it in the lobby - which was very disappointing. And, as with any hotel in Dresden, you will have to pay the city tax when you leave, even if you were told your booking/payment covered all taxes. I’d probably stay here again but I’d check the WiFi after arriving in the room - before I unpack.
Very good location. Very helpfull stuff, clean room, good breakfast.
I booked this hotel to visit my daughter who is studying in TU Dresden. The hotel is perfectly placed to explore the city and is clean and well maintained. My biggest issue was the room itself - it was far too hot and the air conditioning wasn’t working as it was winter! Further the pillow was like a marshmallow which squashed down to nothing, ultimately giving little or no support up your neck and head. There was no alternative or additional pillows in the room. The bed was 2 singles pushed together which had mattresses that were dipped therefore creating a lump in the middle where they met. Not comfortable for a couple. Also the bed had 2 separate duvets which is donething new to me for a double bed! It was also unclear whether the items in the mini bar were free or chargeable? Checkout was abrupt and we weren’t even asked if we had enjoyed our stay. We were charged for the lodging tax but not the Ritter sport we had eaten from the mini bar so again unclear if that was an error or it was free? Bar staff were accommodating but not particularly friendly. All in all it’s a lovely hotel in a great location but could do a lot by way of customer service and smile goes a long way!
Hotel has great location! Breakfast is great also! Requested for a late check out at 1pm but will have to pay for Euro $30 for an hour of late check out is really crazy.
Nice hotel, interier better than exterier (first moment was quite dissapointing, indoor is modern and nice, but outdoor is socialistic and you can see through the windows inside the rooms (yes, you can see the bed, people on it and also the glass shower - that all from the street). Very good breakfast buffet! You can rent bike on the reception for 10 euro per day, that's good price. I appreciated the shower gel and shampoo, it wasn't that universal hotels one with odd smell, instead of that it was with lavender and mint, very refreshig and also relaxing. Curtain in the glass shower was useful, even i'm very open minded i don't need to let my boyfriend watch how i shave my armpits for example.))) Room is small but wih pleasant atmosphre, everything is clean, new and stylish. Expedia.com disappointed me with its booking services, i asked for two things in the reservation form and none of them was managed - i wanted view on the prague strasse, not on the railway station, and four pillows in the room instead of two. so we had arrived and had room with the view on the railway station (even hotel wasn't full at all and they had lot of free rooms with the better view) and only two small pillows. I can recommend this hotel for sure!!!
Close to train station and old town
A fine location for seeing Dresden. Close to the train station and the old part of town. Friendly staff.
Dresdaen
Bit slow at front desk but not enough to complain about.
Great stay!
Easy and convenient check in. Front desk staff was extremely helpful getting me some items printed that I needed. Room was clean and modern. My stay was comfortable and the location was convenient for visiting old town.
Excellent. It’s my third time staying at the Pullman. Great location and staff. Highly recommend it.
It was quite good and we really enjoyed staying there for 3 nights.
The hotel is nice, except some things are not included. Breakfast is not included, using the spa has additional charge. These one offs is an annoyance. Just include it in the stay. The location is great, next to train station and close to restaurants, super markets and shopping.
+ location is convenient if travel by train + breakfast is very good - for 4 star property this hotel lacks basic amenities in the room (no fridge, no waterboiler, etc.) - Staff is generally unfriendly (there are exceptions)
Great choice to stay
Great location. Very convenient surrounded by shopping area. Just opposite Central Train Station.
Confused payment system
+ Very good location and only few minutes walk to the main train station, many shops and restaurants around. Comfortable room and really excellent buffet breakfast. - A little bit noisy for the tram, but not very loud. Can be better soundproof of the windows. I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights under one booking number in total €344, but we arrived a bit earlier than check in time and hotel offer one room to us first, that’s really great. We went back to the hotel to get the second room after lunch, the staff asked me credit card for guarantee, however she didn’t told how much is it and I also forgot to ask. When I check out, the staff asked me to pay for one room only, but I told should be 2 rooms, he insisted that one room already paid when check in but without paying the extra local tax, I must pay back too. After few minutes discussion, we paid only one room which the staff said with extra tax for 2 rooms in total €181, and can give me the Invoice for only this room. And he cannot tell me the room cost for another room and no Invoice can be given. Because we hurry for ICE train that I cannot clarify everything. After back home, I checked that they deducted €185 for the second room and €181 for first room. Finally, they charged me in total €366 instead of €344, and 2 rooms are different room rate, it’s only €22 more, not big money, but it’s really very strange =.=‘
Great location
A great location and comfortable room. We found the lack of a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities unusual for a motel of this type.
Very nice Hotel
Manage
Great , only is the pillow too small
Enjoyable stay. Very comfortable room with great views. Excellent breakfast. Ideal location for the station and for walking to the old town and shopping centre.
Great location for exploring Dresden. Menu was boring. Families fine.
Very good
Vrry good hotel. Good location.
Clean, functional hotel in a great location
Disappointed
Not happy with the check in. Room is on the small side. The design of the shower can be awkward for some travellers.
THE GOOD, THE BAD, THE WEIRD
THE GOOD - great location to train station, great view for those rooms facing Old Town THE BAD - threadbare towels and linens, IKEA furnishings THE WEIRD - a shower in the middle of the room

Can't beat its location.
I highly recommend staying at the Pullman Hotel in Dresden. It's centrally located and within a few feet from any public transportation including the Main Train Station. It's also within a few blocks from the major touristic attractions.I would walk to the attractions every day. The only issue we had was that the beds were not as comfortable as i expected, that's mostly being because they put two twin beds together to make one, which leaves a gap in the middle so you get the sensation you are about to fall. Friendly staff, close to the attractions and transportation. I am planning on returning to Dresden in June and I will surely stay at the Pullman again.
Pros: Close to train station. Close to Christmas Market. Cons: Horrible pillow. Small room. No coffee maker. Mold on shower wall.!!!!!
Really Nice and clean hotel. I loved the open shower in my room and the breakfast.
Location
Wonderful location! Near from train station and old town.
Good location, very comfortable
Very nice hotel for a good price. The rooms are spacious, clean, modern and well appointed. Highly recommended hotel which I will book again on my next visit to Dresden. Emily from reception is delightful too.
A hitel with bike rental
It's close to the Hbf, and is clean and well maintained overall. I particularly like how they have rental bikes at the hotel at a good price. Keep it going!
Modern and central to all
Very modern, new and matter of 2 minute walk from the train station as well as plethora of shops and reataurants in minute's walk. Reception manager was young attractive blond, but acted snobby as heck which completed turned us off, but the hotel was definitely one od the most modern ones.
Perfect hotel with great location (approximately 10 minutes to the centre by walk and 2 minutes to Dresden Hbf. (Bayrische Str.), there is n need in public transport), friendly and always ready to help reception. Thanks for so good vacations )))
Great train stop for a day to check out Dresden.
Great location for train station stop to check out old town. Very nice view and room. Had Jr suite. Loved the stay and customer service.
Nice hotel near the central train station.
This hotel is pleasant, but unremarkable. The room was nice but missing amenities one would expect - no hot water pot in the room, only shampoo and soap. As I said nice hotel but nothing special.
Convenient for old city near main station.
We were on the 8th floor. The views of the city were good but we could have done without the glass shower in the room and a kettle with tea and coffee would have been nice
Convenient but small
Good location, room too small
Very comfortable hotel, with a great location, close to the main railway station and the shopping district of Dresden.
Short week-end in Dresden.
Only a brief stay for a couple of football friendliest st Dynamo Dresden. 5 minutes walk from main station, 10 - 15 minutes walk from both the stadium and the old town. Would stay again if the occasion arose.
Super convenient
I chose the Pullman because of its convenience - less than 5 minutes on foot to the Dresden main train station and 15 minutes on foot to the Old Town. Not being in the Old Town saves you a lot of money. I had a comfortable if small room and it met my every need. The price was right, the breakfast buffet was actually quite good, and the staff were most helpful the few times I interacted with them. I didn't use it, but the trolley stop is right outside the hotel, so for destinations further afield, the Pullman should also be very convenient as well.
Sexy shower facilities
Stayed there off and on for 4 nights. Staff was very cooperative in allowing us to store excess luggage while we interrupted our stay with two nights elsewhere.
Convenient, comfortable stay
I like convenience of train and city transportation availability, plus near Frauenkirche and Kastenmeier's
Very good option
It was a very nice experience in this hotel. The room's layout was very modern and make it feel bigger.
A business man's hotel...not in a bad way
This is a hotel for men on travel expenses. Why do I say this? First, the "men" part. The decor is very low-key and the main colors are brown and white. The sheet thread count isn't as high as I like (I'm a woman). There are no amenities in the bathroom except shampoo and body wash - no lotion, no hand care. There is a desk and a BIG tv. Now for the "business" part. The breakfast is 19 Euros for a standard European breakfast. Note: there are a LOT of really nice local places just 200 meters away - including a Starbucks and across from them a place that does a lovely little breakfast for 4.5 Euros. It's nuts to eat breakfast there unless you can expense it. Now the internet. There IS free internet but it is SLOW. You can buy the good kind for 9.90 Euros a day. I've gotten free high speed just about everywhere I've gone. There is a restaurant in the hotel and it looks good but it's pricey, the bar is pricey, the stuff you buy to put in your minibar is pricey. There is a good grocery story about 250 meters away where you can get great beer for .79 Euro for a .51 instead of the 3.5 you pay for a .31 in the hotel shop. SO - a place for people who don't have to worry about the price of little things. Good location, nice staff, decent place. There is a relaxing center, but I didn't try it out.
Great location
it is near all what yoi might need when you are in Dresden
