Far from being a 5 star hotel.

Seehof could have been a nice hotel. However too much is missing. They didn’t clean the rooms we had booked, the food was terrible and sometimes uneatable, scramble eggs are made from powder, the receptionists ( with one exception- Marina) were unwelcoming and showed no interest in the guests. I would strongly advise against having dinner at the hotel. The food and how it was prepared does not belong at all in a 5 star hotel.

Well located but lacking for 5-star

Incredible location for skiing. We got an old room which isn’t as nice. Quality of the bedding is below par. Great breakfast. Lovely bar. Medicare dinner.

Scratched my car in the garage

My visit was totally spoilt by the fact that the valet scratched my car in the garage and didn’t admit it. I only noticed when I got home so not much I can do. And before that upon arrival the valet told me to go to reception rather than park myself, and while I was checking in I got a 120chf parking ticket, which hotel agreed to pay only after a long and heated conversation.

The staff is very friendly and helpfull. The location is very good in respect to public transportation and access to the pists.

Best Choice Davos

Amazing hotel. Best value for cost. Welcome drinks. Big comfortable bedding. Breakfast was delicious. They have buffet with lots of yummy goodies. They also have special breakfast items that can be ordered that are also included in the breakfast. The spa is a must. One of the most beautiful well Equipped spas. Great gym machines. Dinner restaurant; very good Rosti. Also, right next door to the ski lift.

This is a very nice hotel, perfectly placed next to the Parsenn train.

Amazing stay

I took my mother to this hotel for the weekend and it was just perfect. The service was amazing and the hotel was very clean and well presented with amazing views. We are breakfast and dinner at the hotel on both days- dinner was at the Chesa restaurant and was absolutely delicious. We also made use of the spa and had massages- the spa was beautiful, modern and clean and the massage was so good!

Beautiful hotel in a pretty town

Lovely clean hotel in such a pretty town. Our room was large and well facilitated with everything we needed for a pleasant comfortable stay. I would go back to this hotel and recommend it as a perfect base to explore the local area.

Luxury Ski Hotel

Beautiful hotel, breakfast was amazing, one minute from the main Ski Lift, super Spa, all the staff were gracious.

Good hotel but not 5*

The hotel has recently claimed itself as a 5*, which I am not sure it is deserving of. The hotel is very old-school Swiss, which does have an air of charm about it, but the rooms are very dated and I felt that the processes of the hotel and staff were too. There were little to or no access to plug sockets in the rooms, and traditional formats of the European plug socket would not fit into the plug sockets provided. The superior rooms that we booked were huge and very outdated, but comfortable. We booked half-board for 2 nights but in the end only did this once, as we were unhappy with the food. The veal schnitzel that we had (there were no other options available on the menu) was very unappetising (oiling/overcooked/different casing) in comparison to our guest who had the same off the al a carte menu. However, the spa is very new and was the highlight of the hotel. There are a number of saunas, a relaxation room and steam room. Access to light snacks and refreshments. The jacuzzi is great, but it is missing a swimming pool. The ski lockers are good, but they did not work for drying my walking boots - which was a disappointment to take home damp. The breakfast was great and had a fantastic range of food and beverages (including prosecco). I have since been back this week to have lunch, and I again was disappointed by the food and by the service which was slow and there were 2 errors to our orders. I will not be returning again for the food, unless it is breakfast.

Made to feel welcome

From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine while the porter took our baggage to the room. While we were shown around our room we were given a welcome pack and told that the minibar was free and was restocked every morning. The room was spacious, clean and had spectacular views of the mountains.

A very nice, quality hotel. The reason for only getting four stars is that there is no air conditioning in the room, resulting in having to spend the night with the windows open. A bit noisy..... Acceptable in most hotels, but not a five star establishment. Lovely breakfast and helpful staff.

Amazing hotel and AMAZING service.

One of the best 5 star hotels we've ever stayed at and the Michellin rated restaurant was by far the best meal we have ever had. Simply outstanding experience, hated to leave.

Hiking in the Alps

I have stayed at the Seehof hotel in Davos 4 days last week and I was very satisfied with my stay. My room was upgraded with no extra charge. The views were not great but that is what you get on this side of the building (scaffolding,mountain slope, retaining wall and a street). It did not matter to me as I only spent nights in the hotel and days in the Alps. The room was well equipped and had everything I needed. Service was great, room always clean and organized, shiny bathroom. Very helpful reception, great breakfast buffet. Prior to my arrival they even offered to pick me up at the railway station although it was literally 5 minutes away on foot. I have not used hotel restaurants much due to lack of time, but when I dined there the food was good, albeit it seemed a bit overpriced. This is valid for the whole of Switzerland, though. They also have a small, but reasonably well equipped gym and a great sauna. Overall very good experience. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. I will definitely try to be back some time in the future.

If Skiing in Davos is your objective, there isn't a more suitable, convenient and most importantly, themed hotel in Davos

Perfect Situation

This is one of the best hotels in Davos, especially if you can get a good "early" rate. The situation is perfect, a few minutes walk from the railway station Davos Platz and next door to the "Parsennbahn". There are of course varying levels of rooms but even the most basic is very comfortable, well equipped and has free wi-fi. The buffet breakfast is superb and the staff very friendly and helpful.

Was pleased with free parking, free internet, free pass for the lift up teh mountain, treams and bus and very helpful at reception.

Schönes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal

Hotelpersonal äusserst zuvorkommend und freundlich. Hotelzimmer sehen frisch renoviert aus und sind sehr sauber. Parkplatzsituation nicht ganz optimal mit wenigen Aussenplätzen, Tiefgarage sehr eng.

Excellent hôtel, parfait pour une arrivée en train à Davos. Hôtel de très bonne facture, nous avons été surclassés. Superbe petit déjeuner, avec du choix et des produits travaillés. Hôtel méritant largement ses 5 étoiles. De plus le spa avec la petite piscine est très agréable et nous avons pu en profiter sans limite.

la chambre attribuée correspondait exactement au descriptif d'une chambre "exécutive" selon leur site internet, or nous avions payé pour une chambre "deluxe" mais apparemment l'hotel ne fait plus la différence que pour les chambres "suppériors" et "deluxe", mais continue à vendre les Deluxe plus chère que les Exécutives... on peut donc de trouver dans une Exécutive en ayant payé une Deluxe (petit lit 160 alors que Deluxe entre 180 et 220cm), (chambre de 25m2 alors que Deluxe au min. 30m2), (chambre avec douche alors que Deluxe avec douche et bain) etc etc Le service de chambre est lent, il a fallut attendre 17h un jour, inadmissible en 5 étoiles. Oublis réguliers (eau, café, linge). au Restaurant une véritable catastrophe : la cuisine n'est pas digne d'un 5 étoile, mais plus d'une cantine. Chaque jour les plats ne correspondent pas au menu, les sauces ou les accompagnements sont différents ou non métrisés (ne sait pas faire les spätlzli, ne connait pas la sauce pour la chasse, ne sait pas faire le coq au vin, les desserts ne correspondent jamais au descriptif, bref un cuisinier pas à la hauteur). Les serveurs ne sont pas non plus à la hauteur d'un 5 étoiles. le chef de rang doit même organiser des charriots car ils ne savent pas porter plusieurs assiettes. Evidemment, ils ne parlent pour la plupart même pas une langue nationale.

Kurze Auszeit in Davos

Ein sehr schönes Hotel. Standort in Davos Dorf ist super. Zimmer und Infrastruktur sind sehr schön. Sehr freutlich und hilfsbereites Personal.

eher 3-4 Sterne würde ich geben

5 Sterne würde ich nur dem Concierge Afonso geben. Sonst sehr enttäuschend für ein 5 Stern Hotel in der Schweiz. Das Studio hat ein kleines, altes TV, die Küche aus den 80er Jahren und unbequeme Betten. Frühstück war sehr gut. Das Restaurant ok, aber teuer sehr positiv ist dass der Skilift 20m vom Hotel befindet.

When you dream about the hotel you see in the Christmas movies... That's Seehof! Amazing. Location, quality, detail and service grade 10. Everything perfect. The price is fair for what you get and you will be happy because you can feel the quality. The breakfast is magnificent. The room is spacious, modern in mountain style. The spa is totally new and very well done. The bar service was very kind too.

Überzeugendes Angebot, jederzeit wieder

Renoviertes Zimmer, bequeme Betten mit grosszügigem Raum als Dusche/WC. Frühstück lässt nicht zu wünschen übrig, mit kleiner Karte für warme Speisen, Buffet sehr vielseitig mit frischen Früchten, Fisch, Müesliauswahl, Brotsorten etc. Pianobar mit guter Drinks Auswahl. Gerne jederzeit wieder.

Freundlichkeit des Service Personal ist nicht mehr zu übertreffen. Sauberkeit 1A .Zimmer das schönste wo wir je gesehen haben. Frühstücksraum und Lobby einmalig. Werden auf jedenfalls wieder kommen.

Virkelig lækker hotel lige midt i byen og super sød service

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, traumhaftes Frühstücksbuffet, welches keine Wünsche offen liess. Grosses Zimmer mit Nespresso-Kaffeemaschine, leider etwas dunkel und Teppichboden, sehr kleines Badezimmer. Zu unserem Unmut und nicht zum ersten Mal, dass das gebuchte Zimmer überhaupt nicht dem abgebildeten Foto entsprach, schade!!!

Einfach grandios

Wir hatten ein wunderschönes frisch renoviertes Zimmer. Das Personal war extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstücksbuffet sehr fein und das Personal erkundigende sich immer wieder ob alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit ist und ob wir noch irgendwelche Wünsche haben. Leider konnten wir nicht länger bleiben werden aber nach Möglichkeit wieder kommen.

Gutes und schönes **** Sport Hotel an guter Lage

Sehr schöne Hotel mit äusserst freundlichem Personal. Das Hotel bietet viel Platz ein schönes Restaurant und einen ordentlicher Spa Bereich. Die Lage ist top, gleich neben der Parsennbahn.

Sehr freundliches Personal, Ausstattung und Services lassen keine Wünsche offen. Lage ideal, Talstation der Parsennbahn gleich beim Hotel.

Unser Kurztripp im "Seehof" war in allen Punkten perfekt. Sehr nettes Personal, primär die beiden Damen in der Bar und auch der Herr am Empfang. Einfach nur zu empfehlen. Bravo Gruss Patrick Jans

Super Service, trotz Corona alles offen!

Wir haben die Tage im Seehof genossen, bis auf die Wellnessanlage. Die Sauna hatte Blick auf das Schwimmbecken das bis ca. 17:30 Uhr von Kindern besetzt war. Von Erholung im Spa kann keine Rede sein.

Wir waren nicht begeistert...

Zuerst: alle Mitarbeiter und Mitarbeiterinnen im Seehof sind sehr freundlich und kompetent:-) Auch der Spa hat uns gefallen: klein aber fein. Alles andere hat uns nicht gefallen. Weder die Einrichtung der Zimmer noch der Zustand unseres Badezimmers noch das Essen im Restaurant. Noch nie haben wir einen so uncharmanten Frühstücksraum in einem 5Sterne-Haus gesehen... Alles in allem waren wir doch sehr verblüfft über den Zustand des Hotels.

Empfang sehr freundlich, Zimmer im rustikalen Stil wunderschön, Service im Restaurant kann Aufmerksamkeit und Professionalität noch steigern. Auf Anfrage für Nachservice zum Hauptgang innert kürze ein Stück Rinds-Filet Wellington erhalten, danke! Allgemein schöner Aufenthalt.

Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen, das Frühstück sehr ausgiebig. Super Preis-Leistung hatten wir. Sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft.

Das Hotel überzeugt durch seine sehr gute Küche und das hervorragende Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Etwas Abstriche muss man bei der Einrichtung (Lobby, Speisesaal & Zimmer) machen welche schon etwas veraltet ist. Das Spa wurde neu renoviert (besitzt aber keinen Ausblick nach draussen). Das Angebot für Hotelgäste ein 4 Gänge a-la-Carte Menu für CHF 50 dazu zu buchen war für uns das klare Highlight.

Das war der wohl beste Empfang in einem Hotel seit ich denken kann. Vielen Dank an das Team der Reception. Service wird in diesm Haus gross geschrieben. Das Angebot war durchs Band sehr gut. Das Essen und der Spa sind vorzüglich. Die Hotelzimmer sind geräumig und sauber. Die Einrichtung ist nicht gerade modern aber noch in sehr gutem und gepflegten Zustand. Der Aufenthalt im Hotel Seehof kann ich nur empfehlen!

Très joli et spacieux spa. Les chambres sont grandes et l’hôtel est tout près de la gare mais cet hôtel est bien plus un 4 étoiles qu’un 5. La décoration est un peu classique et pas très luxueuse, à part la partie la plus ancienne du bâtiment où on trouve de beaux objets et décors typiquement suisses. Le service au petit déjeuner est trop lent, les quantités trop réduites pour les gros appétits. L’omelette est arrivée froide et ils m’ont proposé du lait de soja, puis d’amande, pour finir par du lait d’avoine.

Super Service, sehr freundlicher Empfang inkl. gratis Zimmerupgrade. Zimmer sind nicht mehr auf dem neusten Stand, geht aber bei dem Preis in Ordnung. Das Frühstück hat jedoch nicht unseren Erwartungen entsprochen und ist definitiv nicht 5 Sterne würdig.

Top Hotel eingangs Davos. Gratis Parkplatz direkt beim Hotel. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal! Sehr schönes und neues Spa. Das Zimmer war sehr schön eingerichtet mit genügend stau Möglichkeiten. Sogar eine Nespressomaschine mit Kapseln und viel Mineralwasser war vorhanden. Das Bett war sehr bequem mit hervorragender Bettwäsche. In unserem Zimmer wäre eine Renovation der Bademöbel angebracht. Bei einigen Kannten fehlte die Laminierung. Das Frühstück liess keine Wünsche offen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Personal /Empfang war sehr freundlich. Hotel und Spa sehr sauber. Für ein 5* Hotel etwas enttäuschend war allerdings, dass die proklamierte "free" Minibar "nur" aus Mineralwasser bestand und dass das Frühstück nicht immer sehr frisch schien, sondern wie am Vorabend mit Folie abgepackt. Es wurde auch nicht nachgefragt, ob man noch mehr Kaffee oder so wünsche oder mehr/etwas anderes zum essen. Das war hoffentlich aber nur Corona-bedingt so. Sonst war der Aufenthalt im Seehof sehr schön.

Chambre parfaite, spa très bien mais très déçu du restaurant. la quantité dans les assiettes lors du repas en demi pension et aucun choix au petit déjeuner, pas d’accueil et de communication au restaurant. la qualité du repas était très bonne c’est d’autant plus frustrant!!
