Excellent place, overlooking the ocean. However, can hear the ocean hitting the cliffs which makes it quite loud at night

Complete bait & switch Hotel only has a very small number of the renovated rooms If you arrive late like us, you’ll get sent to the attic rooms on L20 that haven’t been renovated since the 90’s Loved the reception’s reaction: sorry, you can go somewhere else if you like. Great!

Very good all rounder. Food was not as good for early week and better later in the week for dinner. The doors to the balcony rattle at night, keeping people awake. The staff are great though, very likeable. Good gym but a bit far from the main hotel. Overall, really enjoyed my stay with the beautiful views, old style music and overall great atmosphere.

Fantastic hotel undergoing chic, tasteful refurbishment in a fantastic location with wonderful gardens and three swimming pools.

The vows were amazing

Hits and misses.

Buffet facilities were fine and waitstaff was good. This is the plus for this facility. Negatives - need a single spot to park for guests with a rental car to check in. Building identification with your name would also help. We had a 12th floor room with big cavities under the carpet like the floor had multiple drains or something similar. Walking on the floor with small craters and dips is not a quality product for the guests.

Very nice hotel, could do with a bit of updating but the pool and garden areas were immaculate and the rooms were spacious and comfortable.

It was a quiet and comfortable property. The staff were lovely - lots of Christmas activites while we were there and we we always included. We enjoyed the padel and tennis courts.

The beautiful gardens, three pools on different levels, excellent staff, varied menu at breakfast and evening meal times, reception caught not be more helpful, overall the hotel is a credit to the management.

Big resort outside PDLC

Pleasant reception staff,80s carpeted rooms with great balcony with seaview,the balcony doors aren't soundproof and rattle in the wind.the room is well equipped bring your own tea/coffee or there is a Lidl up the hill,I had to buy soap also as it wasn't provided.the breakfast and dinner are of a good varied standard but you have to pay for water at dinner which felt a bit scammy.wifi was weak and the free shuttle bus into town is excellent,heated pool and gym well maintained.

The resort is in a great location: by the sea (from the room's window it feels like you are on a boat!), close to restaurants and cafe's and walking distance from the beach. You can also access a hiking path from the hotel. The downtown area is 20 of walking along the sea coast. The common areas are FANTASTIC. The rooms have not been renovated in a while, but they are fine.

Very dated, but decent.

Loud air conditioning. No USB ports in room. Furniture is quite dated but functional. Fine for a 1-night stay before a flight.

Relaxing and comfortable

We had a lovely 3 night stay. The buffet breakfast was excellent, the evening meal was OK, didn't go hungry. Great idea having shuttle bus going to Puerto as its a fair way from the centre, but so close to Loro Park. We had a sea view, but the noise of the waves crashing in day and night was very loud. The room was very dated and needed a lot of refurbishment needed, but it was very spacious. Bathroom could do with modernising, but we had lovely hot water. So there some good and some not so good points but would return to hotel.

I couldn’t get there as my flight has been cancelled by the air company and my holiday was totally ruined I asked a refund as it was not my fault And I didn’t receive any reply yet.

Reception was good. The room service not. What they was doing is only making the bed and thats it. Toilet, bide and floor in bathroom wasnt cleaned at all. And we were dissapointed of room. We paid extra 50€ just cos of the floor. There was no difference between our room and our friends room which was simple and our superioir. Please sort out your things.

Great location a mile from downtown, but on a bluff above crashing waves on rocky shore. Easy drive to TF-5 to anywhere on the island and Mt Tiede Park. Multi-lingual staff, great buffets. Free shuttle to shopping center/downtown. We would stay there again.

Great location, right on a cliff with sea view. Great breakfast. Room could use updates. Wifi is lobby only.

Only location was good..rest was disappointing..rooms need to be upgraded...there was no WiFi in the room...we had asked for one double bed, they gave us 2 single beds, no bellboy service...overall not so good experience.

Stuck in the 80’s

We have stayed at other Maritim hotels & have been more than pleased, so how the Maritim group are happy to have a hotel of this caliber I am amazed. It is a dark depressing place with the food selection served up on the lowest of imaginable budget (but edible). The sliding doors of balcony on coast side rattle all night. The staff were all very pleasant & hard working especially bar staff as only ever 1 on duty at any given time. We did leave this hotel half way through our stay at our expense & booked into another. Maritim what are you doing?

The most spectacular and wonderful experience

Nice place for a quiet break

Nice hotel, part of a larger apartment complex. Great sea views, breakfast offered a nice variety and there's lots of it (same for buffet dinner)! Negatives, walking to/from the hotel is a little difficult because of the hill. The pool was closed so we had to walk to the resort pool (up a hill) The gym is not part of the hotel building, its in the attached centre which is a little walk (bit of a hill) Over all its good if you don't mind a little bit of walking Rules like no booking pool chairs are completely ignored...

Hotel was ok, I liked the big colorful garden. Wifi was bad, only available at reception and kept disconnecting all the time.

Get the sea view room

Beautiful hotel with views to die for, several restaurants with lovely food on site. Each room has a balcony - definitely get the sea view room! Breakfast offers a huge array including a decent full English. Most staff speak moderately good English.

Large but friendly hotel

Large hotel on the "beach" - actualy lava but very pretty! On the edge of town so quiet but only 10- 15 min to walk in. Largely German tour groups but a single traveller was well looked after. Breakfast was good but dinner is aimed at the group market - better to walk into town. Very helpful staff. Wifi only in public areas. Beautiful sunset views. Cheap car parking and easy to find by car.

Excellent hotel!

Clean hotel, comfortable, nice staff, good food (buffet) both in the morning and evening. If your room is at the see side realise it is the North side and your balcony is hanging above the point where the ocean waves are smashing into the shore.

Hotel on a steep hill-staff give incorrect info

The hotel is on a steep hill so it was hard to walk up to it with cases. Staff gave us incorrect info about times the 'speedy' bus would pick us up to get back to the airport (3 hours out!). Staff also gave us incorrect times for the bus home after expeditions to a water park (they told us there would be 2options for busses back to the hotel (4 and 6 pm) when there was only one option at 5pm. The furniture is dated and some is broken (eg the drawer in our room was broken) Our towels were not replaced one day of our stay and when I called for more they said housekeeping was only open 9-5 and to call back then! Disastrous.

Old hotel for old people

It's a old hotel, nothing to do inside...was just old people..no pool after 19:00, same breakfast, same lunch same dinner like lunch. Nothing good.

Outdated, Dirty & Stingy

First I'll start by saying that we only paid £60 a night, so to be fair, 'you get what you pay for'. The lobby, dining areas and pool are nice enough and are clean, but that's were it ends. I didn't feel like our room was very clean, I certainly didn't want to walk on the carpet without socks. There was mold/mildew in the bathroom. The curtains have holes in them! I just felt like I needed a shower the whole time we were there. There is only ONE electrical outlet and it's for a shaver in the bathroom, that's all, no others! So you have to juggle charging phones, cameras. The room and hotel interior is in much need of updating, new carpet, new drapes, new sheets, bedspread (oh yeah, which doesn't even come close to covering two people...way too small). The stingy part: 1) you have to pay a fee per day to use the in-room safe, 2) you only get ONE towel per person for the pool (and they log that against your room number), 3) drink prices are outrageous, 4) you have to fake a back injury in order to get an additional pillow. Oh, and breakfast was only so-so.

German hotel who knew

The hotel is actually very nice, breakfast was adequate, staff pleasant. But as British we would have liked to have known the hotel was German with the little entertainment etc German. The hotel is outside of the main town and taxis or a shuttle bus are needed unless you want to walk for 25 mins. The rooms facing the sea are on the actual cliff with beautiful views but the noise of the waves crashing against the rocks below the balconies are very loud all night, the patio doors are very old and have no soundproofing and the doors are not safe fir young children. The hotel rooms could also do with modernisation. But if your German then if say go for it!

Excellent hotel with terrific view on the sea

I spent 9 days in this German owned hotel and got a very good room with a fantastic view on the sea for a very reasonable rate. I would recommend the hotel, however if, like me, you are travelling in November or later in the winter, I strongly recommend to doublecheck weather forecasts, as Tenerife can be very rainy in those months: 5 out of 9 days of my stay were characterised by persistent rain, and very often the only way to see the sun was to drive up to the island's volcano, known as "El Teide" (altitude 3700 metres)

Good for escaping the crowds

Large hotel mainly with older Germans i.e. quiet and everything works. Nice pool areas, garden and gym. Also easy to explore local towns from here.

In winter good for old people.

In winter time the hotel is for old German tourists only. Everything is arranged for them and German is a second language in the hotel. For young people and families with children I do NOT recommend it during winter time. Definitely nothing to do for teenagers and you feel yourself like at home for elderly....But still, the staff is very friendly and helpful, hotel is good, food is perfect. Location is very good but NOT for youngsters. Well its anyway just 15 minutes walk to the center of the town. And the last but not least - it could be better if hotel has its own beach.

The hotel is haven for German couples on the brink of retiring...Not a bad thing, but we felt a little out of place. Ocean view rooms are nice and so is the breakfast. The staff was always kind and willing to help. I don't think the staff or the island gets too many American visitors, many people were surprised to hear English without a British accent. The hotel and the garden, pools, etc could use a face lift and they were in the process, but it is a little rough around the edges, but very OK for some one who wanders the island aimlessly all day. Over all good and was definately a bargain.

Bonjour plusieurs fois que je vais a cette hôtel il est toujours magnifique . En ils ont changé les chambres tres spacieux. Le restaurant nouveau il est magnifique. En plus les buffets sont excellent. De belles piscine. Et des animations super. Le personnel est très accueillent ainsi que la réception. Le femmes de nettoyage sont efficaces travaillent bien propres. Franchement je le recommande cette hôtel. Il est magnifiques.

En stor besvikelse

Min plan var en natt på hotellet för avkoppling efter en intensiv arbetsvecka. Särskilt hade jag sett fram emot att sitta på balkongen med utsikt över havet. Jag blev mycket besviken när balkongen var nedsmutsad med puts och cementdamm, räckena täckta med ful plast och en stålvajer gick rakt förbi. Fasaden mot havet genomgår en renovering. På rummet fanns en lapp som informerade om det arbete jag just upptäckt, men som inte ens bad om ursäkt för besväret. Istället uppmanades jag att tillsammans med personalen se fram emot resultatet (!). Incheckningen gick dock smidigt, vänlig personal och parkering smidigt i garage mittemot. Trädgården var väldigt fin och poolområdet såg attraktivt ut. Baren på terrassen var trevlig, servicen god men maten från a la carte menyn var en besvikelse. Sammantaget ljusår från presentationen på hemsidan. Någon tjusig resort är detta inte. Antagligen finns det rum som är fräscha, eftersom hotellet också får goda omdömen. Jag drog i alla fall en nitlott.

Ik ga al jaren naar dit hotel vond alles top tot de verbouwing die nu nog steeds bezig is. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk schoomaak Personeel is ook top. Het is een niet rokers hotel geworden. Dat vind ik een min punt. En het eten in de avond. Vond ik totaal niet meer aantrekkelijk zeker ook niet voor de prijs wat ze nu vragen. Vind het echt jammer maar ik moet volgende jaar een andere hotel of appartement gaan zoeken.

Hotel in guter ruhiger Lage, Stadt kann man bequem zu Fuß erreichen. Hotel und Zimmer sind schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber trotzdem sauber, wie wir dort waren haben sie bereits begonnen einen Stock zu sanieren. Die Außenanlagen ist echt super drei saubere Pools, Minigolf Anlage, Tennisplätze in sehr gutem Zustand, Paddle Plätze und das Gym war für mich das Highlight.

L'été cela doit etre tres compliqué pour se garer Lhotel est en cours de renovation

Excellent rapport qualité prix

L’hôtel est très bien situé. Les balcons des chambres côté mer surplombent l’océan. Les chambres sont bien insonorisés et les lits grands et très confortables. Les buffets sont corrects, avec une bonne variété. Les pâtisseries sont au standard espagnol, donc n’ont pas la finesse de nos gâteaux français. Le rapport qualité / prix est excellent.

Struttura in ristrutturazione ma ben tenuta, immersa nel verde, camera abbastanza spaziosa con vista mozzafiato sull’oceano, piscina riscaldata con bar, mini-golf, e tanto altro intrattenimento. Unica nota negativa il cibo un po’ ripetitivo e a volte insipido, ma comunque di buona qualità.

En general bien , cerca de la ciudad. Facilidad para ir al centro de la Cruz desde el hotel con horario de autobús . Las vistas al mar fantásticas . En cuanto al desayuno deficiente en calidad y variedad

Le restaurant a était refais il est magnifique avec C'est superbe buffets. Les chambres refaite. La réception refaite franchement c'est super. Les femmes de ménagés efficaces. Toute l'équipe de l'hôtel est magnifique. Mêmes les animations étaient très bien. C'est la sixième fois que je viens je regrette pas du tous. Je le conseille aux personnes. Personale più che disponibile e cordiale. Gode di un ampio parco con tanti servizi gratuiti. Camera un po’ datata ma con ottima vista e pulizia giornaliera. Cibo discreto, sala da pranzo con una vista meravigliosa sull’oceano.

El estado de las habitaciones muy anticuado y con parte del mobiliario en mal estado.El exterior también muy mejorable. Un ejemplo seria, estando en la piscina un día cayó una parte de cornisa o algo parecido, que si le cae a alguien hubiera ocurrido una desgracia seguro. Por otra parte el personal perfecto, lo mejor del hotel.

Mala experiencia

Lo mejor del hotel sin duda son las vistas y la atención del personal. Por lo demás estoy bastante descontenta, estuvimos 5 días y al tercero me intoxique comiendo algo del buffet y estuve dia y medio sin poder salir de la habitación. Se que fue de allí porque no comi nada mas ese día y por la noche después de la cena fue cuando me empecé a encontrar mal, sinceramente no he querido reclamar nada porque estaba tan mala que no podía ni sostenerme a mi misma, pero claramente el médico me dijo que fue una intoxicación alimentaria, me lleve dos dias con vomitos y gastroenteritis fuertísima, espero que tengan mas cuidado para que no le vuelva a pasar a nadie más. Si tengo que valorar la habitación, no es para nada de un 4 estrellas, mobiliario muy antiguo, casi se caían los muebles a pedazos, la almohada durísima y habitación muy poco confortable, lo único bueno eran las vistas y el baño no estaba mal, he de decir que el hotel estaba en obras, cosa que no me avisaron en ningún momento, la piscina climatizada cerrada por obras y el ruido del taladro y el martillo desde las 8 de la mañana que parecía que lo teníamos dentro de la habitación. Por ahora tal y como ha sido mi experiencia, no se lo recomiendo a nadie.

Un hôtel de qualité

Un très bel hôtel face à la mer, qui offre de très belles prestations: un personnel attentionné, de très bons repas (pdj-dîners), une localisation parfaite pour visiter le coin et des chambres spacieuses et confortables. On pouvais se garer à proximité ou prendre le parking de l'hôtel. L'hôtel propose plein d'activités pour tout âge.

Hotel très très bien est très accueillent gentille

L'hôtel est excellent le personnel tres accueillent les repas tres bien avec de beaux buffets. Le personnel de nettoyage efficaces. J'ai passé un séjour merveilleux. C'est la cinquième fois que je vais j'ai toujours était bien accueilli. Je le recommande.

In die Jahre gekommen mit entsprechender Ausstattung und schwachem WLAN. Personal überall freundlich und hilfsbereit. Parkanlagen weitläufig, schön angelegt. Parken für 10€ pro Tag in Garage möglich oder gratis auf einem öffentlichen Parkplatz gegenüberliegend.

Muy bueno

Hemos tenido muy buena estancia, limpieza muy bien, si es verdad que el hotel necesita una reforma ya que está antiguito, los exteriores muy bien cuidados y bonitos, tres piscinas una de ellas climatizada en el exterior, la comida para mí gusto regular, muy repetitiva y poca variedad para ser una cuatro estrellas, pero el personal tanto del comedor, del hotel en generar muy simpáticos y amables, hemos tenido una estancia fenomenal.

"Hotelklotz" mit 18 Stockwerken

Das Hotel hat 18 Etagen und sieht eher wie ein häßliches Hochhaus denn ein Hotel aus. Es ist außerdem etwas in die Jahre gekommen und liegt an einer ziemlich befahrenen Straße. Je nach dem, wo man sein Zimmer hat, ist der Verkehrslärm tagsüber auf dem Balkon sehr stöhrend. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Essen eher auf den englischen Geschmack ausgelegt. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut.

Das Hotel liegt auf einer Klippe und bietet einen sagenhaften Blick auf den Atlantik oder den Teide. Die Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen und müssten renoviert werden. Der tropische Park mit 3 Swimmingpools, Tennisplätze, Fitnessstudio und anderen Sportmöglichkeiten ist einmalig. Das Personal ist überdurchschnittlich freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Lo mejor los trabajadores del hotel

Lo mejor el personal del hotel, destacando Kyle el animador, el chef Silvestre y la camarera Elvira. Habitaciones amplias pero la limpieza muy mejorable. No pasan aspiradora y en una semana hay mucha arena en la alfombra. Hacen la cama muy arrugada. Se olvidan poner toallas, gel... El bufet amplio y variado que cambia todos los dias pero la calidad no es buena. Carne dura, pescado sin sabor, zumos muy aguados. 3 piscinas muy buenas y limpias. Y un minigolf que gusta mucho a los niños
