We really enjoyed our stay here! The hotel is beautiful and clean. The service was excellent and friendly. Plus the location is great and breakfast was delicious! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Excellent location, helpful staff, good breakfast!

Lost item at the hotel. Someone stole my pajamas from my bedroom. On my first night, the room was unbearably hot, and they couldn’t adjust the temperature. They offered to move me to a different room the next day, so I packed everything. After my shower, I hung my pajama dress in the bathroom and completely forgot about it. That evening, once I was settled in the new room, I realized my pajama dress were missing. I immediately notified the staff, but they claimed no one had seen them. They never found them. I travel a lot and stayed in many hotels and have never lost anything—If I’ve ever left something behind, it has always been returned. This was a very unpleasant experience. It has now been almost two months, and no one has contacted me or taken any action. I was so disappointed that, on my way out, I even opened both my and my son’s suitcases at the front desk. I still don’t understand how they can simply tell me that no one saw my pajamas. It’s unbelievable. Based on this experience alone, I will NOT recommend this hotel and will choose to stay elsewhere in the future. The lack of accountability and follow-up is unacceptable, and this experience has left a very negative impression.

Very nice but small room and not a lot of storage area for clothes. For me the bed was not comfortable as I am a side sleeper and the bed was hard. The breakfast was very good and the staff was very helpful. The location was great.

This is a lovely hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. The hotel itself weas very conveniently l9cated and very clean. The room was on the smaller side, but serviceable; however it had the oddest arrangement of closet and storage area. Near the front door, where one would expect the closet to be, was a drape that served no purpose. Yhere was a nice window, which opened for fresh air, which was nice. The drapes concealed the closet so well that we didn't find it till our 2nd day there, and the drapes didnt open to access it. Just not a very smart use of storage, which made the room cramped. It was a short stay so we made it work, but re- engineering the drapes would make this setup much more user-friendly. The staff, overall property and location more than made up for the awkward storage .

Wonderful staff and loved the location in historic Alfama. Rooms are small but they’re comfortable and worth it for the location.

Outstanding customer service throughout the hotel - the front desk staff, breakfast staff, lobby bar staff were all friendly, helpful and welcoming. A great room with an awesome view of the city. We enjoyed the little extras from the port wine and sweets in our room when we arrived to the wonderful pool and sauna facility. Highly recommend!

The property is located on a shopping street and very convenient to many of the Porto areas of interest. The breakfast was excellent and the room extremely comfortable.

Great hotel but not able to use sauna

Lovely hotel in a perfect location. Breakfast was great. Think that annoyed me was that we paid extra to book a hotel with a sauna and pool. Advertised as open at 8am. Both days, sauna cold at 8am and advised it would take an hour to heat up. Totally pointless as by that point we were out for the day. Someone needs to turn the sauna on at 7am so it’s ready to use at 8am… another customer told me it had also happened the day before.

Location, Location, Location! Perfectly located between the busy city center and the river front. Everything within Porto was within a 20 minute walk. And, if you opened your window, you had live music down below on the avenue. Staff were all amazingly friendly and helpful with information.

Nice hotel, tiny room!

Great hotel option on a walking street in the center of Porto. Rooms are small, only enough space for the beds. There was no place to put luggage other than on the floor and no desk, no seating other than the beds. The small size of the room wouldn't be my first choice for more than a 1-night stay.

Really enjoyed our stay

Room Was cozy as expected in Europe, but super clean and had a window that opened which was great if you like a little noise to sleep. Perfect walking area and helpful staff with recommendations for dining, walking and tours.

Accommodated our early check in. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was quite nice. Terrific location.

The room was cavernous, small and dark. Others Pousada have nice grounds this did not really have any amenities. We enjoyed other hotels this trip more and at half the price. Not worth the cost.

Charming hotel w very kind and helpful staff - great location

Best central hotel for exploring Porto! We hardly had to use transportation at all! The front desk staff went above and beyond recommending restaurants and getting reservations. This is a busy area of Porto, so there will be people out and about. Only con is I could not get ahold of the front desk by phone to turn on the sauna by the pool. We eventually gave up.

Highly recommend this hotel. So many things going for it. Mainly location but also scores high regarding cleanliness, staff and wonderful rooms.

Loved our stay here, very quaint cute and comfortable hotel. The rooms are cozy, not a lot of space but very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, I had dinner at the hotel and it was so fresh and delicious! The hotel is on a fun bustling pedestrian street.

This is my favorite place to stay when I’m in Porto. The hotel is in an ideal location! The staff goes out of their way to make your stay perfect. Rooms also come with bathrobes and slippers. Breakfast is serviced daily. There is great variety and it’s yummy. Love it! Thank you to all at the Pousada Porto.

Charming boutique hotel in the heart of Porto. We had a wonderful stay here and loved the location- on a lively street full of restaurants and shops and very walkable. Clean rooms, great staff and wonderful breakfast. We recommend this hotel and hope to be back!!

I recently stayed at Poussada Porto and had a great experience. The service was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff. The room was very clean (although the room spray was a way too strong when we first entered, making us wondering why so much) and nicely decorated, making it a comfortable place to relax. The hotel's location is also a big plus. It's within walking distance to Old Porto, which made it easy to explore the city's historic sites and enjoy the local atmosphere. The only downside is that the hotel is located on a wonderful pedestrian street. Therefore, when arriving by car, we had to climb a small uphill side street. Overall, Poussada Porto is a wonderful choice for anyone visiting Porto. Highly recommended!

What a gem of a hotel right in the middle of the historic centre, but so quiet too. Amazing breakfast and wonderful staff and the bed was super comfy. The small gym and pool was an added bonus. Also surrounded by some of the best restaurants and bars I've been to

What an absolute find! We loved everything about this hotel - the helpful & friendly staff, the room, the gorgeous breakfast, the bar on an evening and the location. We were so pleased with the location. Only a 2 minute walk from Sao Bento train station where we arrived by metro from the airport. Less than 10 minutes walk down to the river front and all the lovely bars - and at the bridge end so we could walk over to Gaia easily. Nothing was more than a 20 minute walk in any direction. We do walk quickly but even so, half an hour stroll should get you everywhere. There are lots of cafes and bars on the street as well, if you don't want to wander too far. We're definitely recommending this one to all our friends!

Beautiful property. Close to all the attractions of Porto. Can walk to great restaurants and to Wine Caves on the other side of the river at Villanova de Gaia.

Great location and friendly staff.

The hotel has a superb location so easy to access all parts of the city. The Staff are extremely warm and welcoming and go out of their way to be courteous and helpful to guests. The rooms and communal areas are extremely clean and are very tastefully decorated.

The check-in staff, lounge bar staff, cleaning staff and restaurant/breakfast room employees were all wonderful! They made our stay magical; they were so attentive, considerate and genuinely happy to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We will be returning for sure!

I wanted so much to give this hotel 5 stars, unfortunately I have to give it 3. It is beautifully furnished, the spa is great, and the staff are great, however the sound proofing is terrible. Our last night we got no sleep due to people being loud above us, we moved room and then had more noise beside us. It looks like it was recently refurbished, however no attention was giving to sound proofing, as you can hear conversation word for word between rooms. If this were fixed it would be an excellent hotel.

The Pousada Porto - Rua das Flores was wonderful -Everything about it: location, luxury design and accommodations and staff. We didn't want to leave. Located in a central area, though touristy, once inside the hotel, the experience was elevated. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, the room was spectacular and we can't say enough about the professional, knowledgable and extremely friends staff. We'll absolutely stay there again.
