Amazing location and the individual bamboo huts are very nice and rustic! Loved the pool and the location ! You just need to know from 9pm until 3am very loud music from across the bay ( out of their control) we knew this snd brought ear plugs and slept just fine ! Loved this place
Best Personnel ever, however, noisy every night - due to the clubs nearby
We have stayed there twice and we love it ❤️❤️
All good. But noice is not good in the nights. You should contact the government to do something about this, should all be silent at midnight.
We really enjoyed our stay at this charming little resort. The casitas are perfect for a couple but would be too small for a family. We really enjoyed the restaurant as well. They have a great pool and a beach just steps away from the pool. I read a lot of reviews complaining about noise, there were bars accross the bay playing music until the early hours each morning. You could hear the base but I could never make out the song. I only heard it when I woke up at night to use the bathroom....it did not effect my sleep in any way! Phi Phi Island has a lot of bars with loud music but the side of the bay that this resort is on is very quite at night. I would be happy to stay here again.
Coco Beach is a very nice hotel. We stayed in a cabin in the front with a view of the beach and pool area. And we are very pleasant by that. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The staff was nice and the level of service was high. We did know that Phi Phi is a loud island. But it is sad that the noise from the bars on the beach is that loud. And the walls of rooms at Coco Beach are very thin. But overall we recommend the hotel.
Lovely setting
Very authentic resort, staff very helpful.
Nestled in a picturesque location, this hotel offers a charming stay with excellent facilities and attentive service. From the moment of arrival, guests are well taken care of, with a warm welcome and seamless assistance with luggage at the port. The unique bamboo rooms, while compact, are thoughtfully designed to include all the essentials for a comfortable stay. However, it’s worth noting that access involves navigating four to five uneven steps, which may be a consideration for those with mobility concerns. The pool area is a highlight, offering a serene and well-maintained space with ample sun loungers and a convenient poolside bar. Adjacent to the pool, the hotel’s restaurant serves a generous buffet breakfast, complete with a wide variety of options, including eggs made to order—an ideal way to start the day. Despite these appealing aspects, the hotel does have one notable drawback: noise. The rooms lack soundproofing, and the surrounding nightlife brings loud music well into the early hours, often persisting until 2–3 a.m. For those staying near the back of the property, early morning staff activity adds another layer of disturbance, with noise starting as early as 7 a.m. While the hotel itself is lovely, with friendly staff and great amenities, the lack of nighttime tranquility may be a dealbreaker for light sleepers. For traveler's who prioritise atmosphere and service over absolute quiet, it remains a compelling choice.
Beautiful property
Picturesque location
Excellent stay. Very unique accommodation. I would stay here again despite the pm/late night noise from bars
Great place to stay but SS many have mentioned... The noise from beach bars is a pain... Otherwise highly recommended.
Great little bungalow
Great little bamboo bungalow. Everything here is great except for the loud music until 3:30 AM every night
We stayed in Phi Phi CoCo Beach Resort for three nights. It is an amazing tropical oasis and we would come back again. Resort is clean, beautiful and people are great. They picked up our luggage at the pier and brought it to the Resort. Huts are cute with very comfortable beds, strong AC and good shower. Huts are not well sound proof but it did not bother us. We booked two units and the huts were at the end of the row. So less people walked by our units and less noise during a day or at night. We knew about loud music at night from the bay so we brought ear plugs from home. We slept peacefully every night. It did not bother us a bit. Phi Phi Island is beautiful tropical island and I wanted to stay in bamboo huts and not a regular hotel rooms. No regrets. Thank you Phi Phi CoCo Beach Resort for your hospitality. These were great three days.
Noisy and not that comfortable
Splendid and tranquil
The minute we walked into reception to check in, we were welcomed warmly and made to feel at home. The staff so polite and attentive. The bungalows were rustic and made from natural materials. The sustainability criteria for this hotel was very high and we appreciated all the detail that was taken to keep the environmental impact so low. The breakfast spread was the best we’ve ever come across and the view equally as rewarding. The pool area was relaxing with some areas in the sun and some areas in the shade, along with the swim up pool bar and pool side snack menu, everything was catered for. The night lighting is also splendid around the complex. There is some noise of an evening, which of course we were warned of in advance and at the time of booking. Everything else tipped the balance for us and we just had to accept that to enjoy this hotel, we were obliged to contend with this minor problem.
A great resort, really wonderful staff.
Tha accommodation is lovely, staff are friendly it really is a terrible shame about the late night party boom noise that rattled the resort 🙁
Very nice
The property itself is absolutly beautiful, service is unreal as well. The biggest thing letting it down is the music from across the beach at night. We bought very good ear plugs to sleep in so didnt actually impact us at all but can see how it would
Overall nice place. Very loud at night until 3am from the bars that sit across the water making it difficult to sleep. No hot water for showers but this may be normal for the island. Usually felt good at the end of the day. Great staff. Pool with ocean front view.
Amazing stay at this hotel our best in Thailand. Rooms were quite something. Beautiful location on the beach. The pool was lush with a great swim up bar. Great staff and fabulous food options.
Everything is way to far, you don’t even want to go out and drink because it’s a loooonnngggg walk back. It would make sense for them to instal a walkway by the beach. Wish we knew how far it was, we would have booked somewhere else. I would hate to go in the summer. They charge a service fee, so you don’t have to tip. Also if you’re at the pool relaxing, they will not ask if you need another drink or anything you have to go to the bar and get it. Also if they see that there are empty plates by you they won’t take them, you have to ask them to clean it up . I’m not to sure what the service fee is for :/ Also we turned 2 towels in from other guest that just left them on the chairs and we went to go pick 2 towels up for ourselves, well they got after us. Like uhm mindblown, we were just trying to do the right thing. Drinks are OK, not worth the $. Also no microwaves in the room (I’m assuming so that you have to order from their restaurant, which is kinda pricey IMO.) The breakfast is good, but you have to get there early for it to be fresh. Overall it’s a cute place but I wouldn’t pay more than like $75 a night.
Real good service
Very nice beach front and pool area. Can be loud at night, but this does not bother us. Very much worth the price.
The staff were very helpful and courteous. Clean rooms , good amenities. Overall a great experience
Lovely bamboo chalet type property. But the music until late is awful. No one made us aware until we got a note in the room! Luckily we were only staying 2 nights, but considered moving after night 1!
Everything was beautiful but the music noise at night doesn’t stop until 3 AM
Beautiful hotel
Beautiful place confortable , clean eco friendly
very nice
The massage service was excellent!
First the good: -this place is beautiful , if you arrive at the ferry there will be an employee with the hotel cart and he’ll push your luggage for you to the property. The staff was lovely. The room are small but super cool and make you feel like you are on an island. The pool is great, pool bar makes superior cocktails. You can use the kayaks to go to monkey beach which is super fun! Now for the bad: the beach is kind of gross, not sure if it’s because of it location in the bay but it’s mainly just standing water. Finally the most important thing you must know before booking is that you won’t be able to sleep. The noise from the bars on the beach is so loud you ll feel it in your guts! Plus it’s techno so it mostly sounds like a malfunctioning car engine!no melody ! It’s so loud even ear plugs don’t. Cover it!
A lovely resort with an authentic feel. Big swimming pool with swim up bar and a good breakfast selection.
The property is like a hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. The bamboo cabins are just lush. The free canoeing for an hour and facilities are something to take advantage of. I would definitely stay here again.
Great time
Brilliant resort
Brilliant resort. Rooms comfy, cosy and clean. Staff exceptional. As noted by other reviews, there was noise at night but nothing that a reasonable person would complain about, considering the resort facilities on offer. Wonderful food, pool, bar and location make it a must visit
Amazing property! Like being transported to Gilligan's Island. The room was clean, comfortable and adorable. Wi-Fi and TV were reliable. The grounds are delightful. My daughter and I slept well and didn't hear anything from the neighbouring parties. The receptionist 'Bally' was so charming and polite. We loved it here, we wished we'd stayed longer. The restaurant has fantastic food, big selection and super affordable prices
Pool area was very nice, I like.
It’s about 10-15 min walk to the party center because you have to walk a round about way to get there so really the beach bars are still close and very loud from the rooms. However the staff provided us with ear plugs and the beds were so comfy we still slept all the way through the night. The little bungalows are an experience and the pool and grounds are exceptional. Gives you that real tropical paradise vibe. The food at the restaurant was good and the breakfast was amazing. Love this place and would return again.
The accommodation was unique and beautiful, very clean and had lots of amenities!
Great Hotel.
Good
Everything was good
It was very comfortable, the restaurant was very good
Very friendly staff. Room cleaning didn’t happen for our unit for some reason, and the noise at nighttime (voices, rain, music) can easily be heard through the walls of the rooms. Beautiful spot tucked away on the side of the island, gorgeous pool and ocean view.
OMG!!!! I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL ENOUGH. It is just in a perfect perfect perfect location, barely 8 min walk from the Tonsai pier. More importantly, their pool on the beach with a swim up bar is Just VIEWS FOR DAYS. They have hammocks & movies on the beach & the rooms aren't just rooms but private tiny bungalows all made out of Bamboo. This resort is so cutely luxurious & the staff & service is so friendly. DO NOT MISS. [yes, you will hear party noises till late from the opposite beach but you're in Phi Phi, so ...]
This property is awesome. If you want to go to a nice hotel this one is the best place,if you want to go with your kids it’s also a good place . The pier is very safe during the evening and the night, the food is also very good and the drinks too .
Staff were fantastic and very polite, the hotel is well looked after and really could not fault it. The pool was beautiful and the pool bar staff worked long hours and should be thanked. We stayed in row 6 cabins, and still heard loud music so I suggest use the ear buds the hotel provides.
Great pool, great location, but extremely loud at night. For us it wasn’t that big of a deal but if you are a soft sleeper this is not the place for you!
Such and amazing hotel and experience. My favorite part of my Thailand trip. Will definitely be returning back to this hotel soon.
I love the tropical design, the massage tech at the pool. They could improve their service by turning on the AC available by the time guests arrive at the pier. With the extreme heat in Phi Phi it would be a huge help. The beach in front of hotel is less than desirable. Dirty and slippery at the bottom of the beach. Weird! But thats none of the staffs fault.
This is the third time that we stay at this exact hotel. We do so because the staff are wonderful, the huts are beautiful, the proper is magnificent and right on the beach And the breakfast is amazing. In the last couple years, we’ve taken family with us who have also absolutely loved it. Beware the island is small and very loud at night until 2 AM As you can hear music from yhe bars from across the water from all directions. I wear my earplugs and 2 AM It is quiet as can be.
I made the mistake of booking this hotel without looking at the reviews first. It’s all true. Let’s start with the good. The pool and the property grounds are nice. The porter that picks up your bags when you get off the ferry was great and check in was good. The bad, don’t stay here if you expect to sleep. It is so loud from across the bay and the beach clubs pounding away until 4 AM. It’s as if they are next-door. If you’re a light sleeper and your partner shuffles at all, the bed is made out of flimsy bamboo and you’re in trouble . After a day at the pool or exploring, sometimes you just want to come back and relax in you’re room and get ready for dinner and go out,Nope. that’s when they turn on their own loud music at 5 PM Instead of during the day when you are sitting by the pool. And good luck getting any lateness or friendliness from staff during the day at the restaurant or the pool not even a hello. We stayed two nights and checked out two nights early. We’ve never done that before. This is not the normal Thai experience.
We were expecting noise as had an email prior to arrival.... but not to the level we experienced! Whole place vibrated until 3am every night! earplugs didnt block sound. Initial reaction place looked lovely, pool warm and dirty, water greasy and full of flies. Aircon useless, very hot and uncomfortable 2 night stay. On arrival given key, no directions or instructions re breakfast, room etc... disappointing greeting.
Do not stay at this hotel! We dismissed the reviews about the loud music at night as we are a young couple who are usually out and about late anyway but in 3 nights we've had about 6 hours sleep combined! Music from the nearby bars stops at 3/3:30. You can hear the music pretty much word for word. We could also hear every word from outside the huts too, even the shower from next door when it was on. We had also spoke to others around the pool area who felt the fact same, one actually having to check out a night early due to it! Staff around the pool bar were super slow and more interested in watching the football/sports on their small TV. Lovely pool area, water is salt and doesn't cool you down much a it's like getting into a warm bath this is no fault of the hotels, it doesn't help it being 32-35 degrees in the peak hours of the day. The tide is only in until about 1/2pm so the views are washed up boats, plastic bottles and dead jelly fish. A friend of ours staying in another room had food poisoning (not sure if it was necessarily from the hotel food as this was actually really nice and possibly the only positive) and when we asked for water at the hotel reception at 7:30am they were told they weren't allowed to give it out until 8am and all the local shops were closed and bar to purchase. Steer clear of this hotel!
The grounds were beautiful and right on the beach. The pool was big and fantastic. Close to town to walk for restaurants and shopping. The individual huts were so charming and tropical feeling. The staff was so gracious.
This was an amazing stay! Right on the beach, and right off the main markets. The pool was awesome, the breakfast was awesome. The rooms were super clean. Overall would recommend to anyone!
Property and staff were amazing but… there are some bars down the street that BLAST electronic music until 2:30am. The bass penetrates everything and it is impossible to sleep. Do not stay here if you want a good nights rest.
.
Motto, Pammy (front desk) and Bond (boat driver) were extremely kind and helpful. CoCo Beach is really unique. The huts are made out of bamboo so you can hear noises and music at night. But if you are prepared for it then it is manageable. The hospitality was worth it.
This place is one of the best properties on Phi Phi. The pool is amazing! You stay in your own lil hut right on the beach. You can be away from the downtown parties, but a short walk if you wanna be in the night life. Staff is amazing!
A unique experience staying in this breathtaking resort! I wouldn’t stay anywhere else on Phi Phi
Property had loud music till 4am on first night. When we arrived from ferry had to bring all our bags to resort which was 1/2 a mile walk In blistering sun and humidity. The pool was green and not well kept. Staff was very friendly
A cool property on Phi Phi. Love the individual bungalows/huts. Beautiful view on the water and nice pool. Great wifi with smart tvs, AC is great in the room. Bed was comfortable. It is loud at night but the whole island seems to be. Staff was great and accommodating the entire stay
Amazing
I can’t recommend this hotel enough. We stayed for 3 nights it is absolutely stunning like a tropical paradise. The pool area is also fab and right next to the beach. I did read reviews about the noise before we came and was a little worried but it wasn’t an issue for us. I’m not sure if this is because our hut was towards the back in the garden section but it didn’t really bother us at all. Would book again in a heartbeat.
Ear plugs required on an evening
The hotel is beautiful and the pool bar and staff are super. During the day the hotel is incredible. However when the sun light goes. The neighbouring bars and restaurant crank up the volume of the music and this goes on until 4:30AM every morning. Every guest were complaining but with the rooms made from bamboo the hotel staff can’t do anything else. Overall a great hotel for location and during the day.
We absolutely loved this property, grounds were clean, staff was always attentive, food was excellent especially the buffet breakfast. Nice walkable distance to town, a little piece of paradise. We had a pool view room just steps off our deck, we were advised immediately after booking that it would be loud in the evening, this was loud club music from about 9pm to 3am, we didn’t mind too much, just prepared with ear plugs (they even provided them for us) perhaps staying further off the beach would be a little quieter. Regardless this music was not from the property so it was out of their control. Highly recommend
This property looks amazing in pictures. We are a retired couple in our 50’s and thought this would be a good place to stay for a few nights. We arrived at 2 pm and were ready for a swim. The pool was so cloudy and gross that we didn’t get in. There were people at the pool bar in the pool for way ho long not to get out to use the washroom. The bamboo villas were cute and clean but very tiny. No room to put an open suitcase anywhere. We went out for dinner and the island was beautiful. We came back at 7:30 pm and there was loud house music playing somewhere close by. We went to our room and tried to watch a show on our computer. The music was so loud you could feel the base in you chest. The villas have zero sound proofing. You can hear the people in the next villa talking. The music went on until 3am. We stayed one night and booked a place in Phuket to escape. We had an amazing breakfast at the resort with lots of options. When I went to the front desk to let them know we were leaving early they gave me a sheet to fill out to advise of the reason. This is obviously a very common occurrence as they had a stack of these forms ready to go. If I was 20 and wanted a good place to go party and sleep in this might be it. Not good for anyone who likes a clean pool and going to bed at a reasonable hour.
Lovely but bring ear plugs
A beautiful resort. Lovely rooms. BUT incredibly noisy with nearby music until 3am.
We did not like our stay here. It was much too loud, till 4am Ruined our next day being so tired
The area around the hotel is not crowded which is great if you want a bit more relaxing environment. Just keep in mind that the room is made with bamboos so you will hear music playing from nearby clubs until like 2:30 am. The beach in front of hotel is ok but not that good for swimming. There is an old abandoned building right next to hotel, so you will see some piles of trash around there. The hotel is within a walking distance to many restaurants and bars as well as to the pier.
Nice environment but as it is bamboo walls the loud music from outside at night is not OK
The staff were sweet and helpful and location is convenient for the pier. But service at the pool was slow and there was no ‘table’ service. They did email ahead of trip to say they were not responsible for noise outside the hotel and it was very noisy. Not helped by tree maintenance work starting up at half midnight around the rooms.
Beautiful Hotel
We arrived at the pier and there was a guy with a board with the hotel name. He grabbed our luggage and walked us to the hotel. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a drink. We arrived early but we only had to wait ten minutes for our room. Really great service from start to finish. The room was spotlessly clean with great amenities. The pool area was gorgeous overlooking the beach. Breakfast there was so much choice. Would come back to this hotel it’s the best we have stayed in Thailand. Yes there is noise in the evening but it didn’t bother us, go join in the fun. We also enjoyed watching Netflix and sitting on the balcony..
The hotel needs to improve its cleanliness URGENTLY!!!! There was hair in the bathroom when we check in, spider webs and dust everywhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Avoid, Avoid, Avoid!!!!
Don’t be fooled by the photos of the hotel, it’s a horrendous place to visit. Loud music is played every night until 2:30am, to the point where your bed shakes!!! Hotel staff don’t care. Rooms aren’t at all sound proof, you can hear everything. Monkeys take food from the restaurant. Shower floods bathroom due to poor design and subsequently the bathroom is damp. Stupidly over priced and at best a 2 star.
Visually, the best hotel I've ever stayed so far. The swimming pool is amazing and the rooms are very particular, although a bit small. Walking between bungalows in the jungle and reaching the beach in a few steps is priceless. Not many mosquitos using the repellent, I was expecting more. Location is convenient, 10 minutes walk to the city center. Staff brings your luggages from the pier to the hotel at check-in and check-out, which is great. Taxi boat available at the hotel, and also SUP/canoa free for 1h. Now the cons. Food is mediocre both at breakfast and pool bar, they should definitely find a chef. Rooms are not noise-isolated so you can hear the nearby beach club (which is ok) and people talking in the other rooms (not great). The beach in front of the hotel is quite dirty, not good to swim. Late checkout is 15€/h, quite expensive.
The rooms are incredibly small and loud music all night on the island.
A
Very unique experience in a nice side of the island. Nice pool that leads to a beach front. Staff is friendly and helpful. About a 10-15 minute walk from Tonsai Pier so a bit of a commitment to get to/from all of the action. At night the music from the beach is quite loud and can be heard from within the rooms. Music will go till about 3am. Not the Hotel's fault but something to be aware of.
Despite the noise which is not the hotel's fault, we enjoyed the stay. The pool are is nice and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
A slice of paradise with a big helping of party
We really liked the hotel grounds and our room. They had warned us about the noise, but I don’t think we were really prepared for just how loud it was going to be. Also, the rooms aren’t fully sealed and definitely not insulated at all, but we still very much enjoyed our short stay.
Modern Jungle Paradise
I stayed 3 nights and was very pleased. Hotel Bellman greets you at the pier to take your bags and then a short walk to the hotel. Check in is easy and all staff very pleasant and customer service oriented. Eager to help in any way they can. My room was in front of the pool/bar and wonderful. Clean and plenty of towels and very cute! Felt like I was in the jungle but on the beach with all modern amenities. AC was cold, nice refrigerator and water provided. Nice bathroom and the shower was great with lots of water pressure. Bed was comfy and streaming TV to catch up on all your fav shows if you like. Wifi was great. Yes, there is noise/music at night from the beach party across the small bay but it was not like it was outside my room so I was able to fall asleep just fine.
The only thing we didn’t like was the loud music until 3am. Otherwise it was a wonderful resort.
Good stay!
Great stay, although the room cleaning policy could be better.
Good family hotel
Lovely room but not very sound proof. Unfortunately a nightclub across the bay pumps loud music out every night until 2am.
I can't believe I am writing a bad review for this property because I really enjoyed my stay, and the staff were nice until the very last day. When we checked out, we reviewed our bill and noticed two unknown charges for around $10. The handwriting on the receipt was not ours, and it was signed under a name like "Sabel" (the handwriting was illegible, so I'm not sure). Initially, the person used the room number 908 but crossed it out and changed it to 608. We informed the hotel manager that the charges were not made by us, and we paid the remaining amount, which was about $90. While waiting at the pier for our ferry, our transportation guy passed me his phone, and I learned that the manager was claiming the charges were actually for my mom, who was staying in room 622 and her name is "Shahnaz," and it only has a leading "S." I told the manager that my mom didn't order anything, and the receipt was signed under a different name. The manager asked me to wait on the pier for her. I have a two-year-old with me, and he was crying because he was with his dad on the ferry. she finally arrived and insisted that it was my mom who made the charges, disregarding the fact that the names didn't match. We had also given around $100 in tips, and I made it clear to her that I'm not trying to cheat over $10, but not willing to pay for someone else’s drinks. She yelled at me and and threatened to report us. I told her to do whatever she wanted because it's not our signature or even our name
The hotel was really good and beautiful, specially the facilities of the hotel and staff were super friendly however, at nightime around 8pm you could hear really loud music in the rooms until 5am but not in the outside which was a little bit annoying.
Our third stay here and my primary choice if you are staying downtown/main pier/tonsai. Place is loud till 2am, eventhough it is one of the furtherest locations from slinky bar in town. The more expensive pool rooms actually are the loudest as I stayed there my first time. Avoid even if offered for upgrade, rooms all pretty identical. 400 block and back are about as quiet as you can get. Nicest hotel in the city without a doubt, based on amenities/staff/pool. Comes at a premium because of it, expect to pay 300baht/$10usd for pool drinks. Bartender is good, no complaint. One of the few properties in town w OK mattress that doesn't feel like a brick. Breakfast is ok, better than all downtown properties. My complaint, irritating they shoot at monkeys w slingshot at bfast to avoid them coming down. Doubt any tourist likes it and most actually run to take pictures. My advice to anyone going to Phi Phi, try to avoid downtown for 2/3 of your stay and then stay the remainder at coco beach and do all the boat tours. Hotels such as zeavola and saii may not offer the crazy night scene such as the ibiza pool party or the beach bars downtown, but are FAR FAR supperior properties in every aspect of amenities offered at a similar price point. Balance relaxation and partying or you will be stuck with a bunch of backpacking kids downtown.
Such a beautiful setting! Beach front, fabulous pool. Adorable huts. Food was fantastic. Love this hotel. It is special. Phi Phi island is tiny and magical.
Overall good. Not good taste that we only got a message the day after booking that it is loud until 02:30 in the morning, very loud. Pool assistant in charge of towels quite rude.
This place is absolutely stunning, clean, tidy and the staff are lovely. We knew to expect noise so took ear plugs, but if you are a light sleeper this isn’t for you! The base is worse then the noise and it goes on every night until 2am atleast. Also if I was travelling solo this isn’t the safest place to get back to, the streets are run down and poorly lit, we spoke to a few woman who said they didn’t feel comfortable. However if none of this puts you off it’s absolutely paradise in the day and the food/drink amazing!
Amaaaazing!
This place is absolutely fabulous. The staff, the grounds, the pool, and the rooms. They showed Titanic on a screen they set up on the beach the night we were there. This hotel is absolute luxury. They even picked us up at the ferry terminal and walked us and our bags straight there! It was amazing! They had a free kayak and stand-up paddle board rental too - ask early (the tide/weather is dependent) The only downside is that it is noisy at night - the walls are bamboo. The resort gives you ear plugs, but there isn't really a way to avoid the noise otherwise.
Negatives: -loud music coming all the way from the other side of the island till 3 am EVERY night. Not the hotels fault, just a warning! -if you want your room cleaned it may take them a while (even around 4-5pm to clean it) Positives: -movie night every night was a fun added bonus we did not expect -staff was very nice and kept the pool area and outside very clean -overall it is a beautiful hotel and pool area
We loved every minute of staying at this resort!
Noisy, but overall a nice stay
I stayed at this property for four nights and overall had a nice stay. The staff was very kind and helpful, top-notch. The pool was great with a good view of the ocean and access to the beach with paddle board and kayak rentals. There were lots of pool loungers, but they filled up by about noon (hotel was fully booked while I was there), so stake one out early. Breakfast was decent. The rooms were great and the bamboo bungalow style was so cute and really added to the beach vibe. The hotel’s restaurant was decent and inexpensive, but there’s much better food elsewhere on the island. One major thing to be aware of: noise from the club(s) at night. Maybe this is because before I arrived I didn’t realize 1) how small and packed together the island is and 2) how much of a party place it is, but noise-wise, sleeping in the bungalow was like sleeping in a tent. The walls are bamboo rods, and you could hear everything through them. By about 8 pm every night the bass of house music at the club was hitting hard (at times I could feel the bass, too), and I could hear every group of loud drunk people returning to their bungalows later. If you’re a light sleeper and don’t plan to party, I’d recommend somewhere with more substantial walls. I ended up sleeping with noise canceling headphones on every night. Without them I would have had a tough time sleeping. Other than that, I had a great time. Not sure if I would go back because of the relatively high price and noise.
Our room was beautiful and very clean! Loved staying at this resort! The breakfast included was great, pool was great, and access to beach was great! Using their kayaks is a must do if staying here!
Nui Bay (poi) went over and above to make our stay better. As well as helping us by returning the lost item that was very meaningful to my partner he labelled it and put it on the ferry for us, and it was returned to us later that night when we discovered it was missing. If he isn’t the manager he should be. It’s great to make international friends too. Just know this is a party island so if you want a fun friendly experience this is for you. If you want quite the walls of these hits are thin. I can say enough about how friendly and helpful the staff was and how awesome it was to get kayaks and Kayak just around the corner to monkey beach.
The bamboo bungalows are simply adorable! Very authentic Thai experience staying here. Staff could not be more helpful and friendly. The view at the restaurant was amazing, as was the food. Overall this place exceeded the photos we viewed online. We’ll be back soon!
