The staff was super nice and the morning breakfast was very good. I normally don’t expect anything from an included breakfast, but it was really good, incorporated a lot of the big Thai dishes.
Great place for a great price
The staff is very friendly!
Hôtel very close to big bars. Music so loud till 4am that impossible to sleep. Even with ear plugs that they supply in the room.
Extremely loud at nights.
Lovely stay, right near the beach. Walking distance to everything. Just note that it does get quite noisy at night, so bring your own ear plugs.
Not to far from the pier and they have a trolley right at the pier to help with your luggage’s. Great food choices & steps away from party life. Breakfast daily really good. Great & welcoming staff.
Lovely property
Very basic accommodation, but reflective of price.
Good hotel!
Nice hotel, close to nightlife so was quite noisy until at least 1am. Reception and other staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel pool was clean and quite big. The shower in our room wasn’t great so took ages to wash my hair. Overall all though the room was great for what we needed it for.
Pool area is very relaxing
If you want peace and quiet, this is not it. There’s clubs/bars near and the music is very loud until 2-3 AM. Room was ok at best, we only stayed one night in the standard room. Bed to me was super hard, honestly it served it purpose. Nothing to brag about.
The rooms were clean and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast had many options and it's close to almost everything including the beach. However, it is noisy there are a lot of bars right next door and you can hear everything.
The hotel is in desperate need of updating. It is very old, which is fine if it was clean and things worked. We had no hot water. This actually wasn’t a problem because we had very little AC and required cold showers. The bed was rock hard, but we didn’t sleep anyway because of the heat. Our “AC” leaked water everywhere as did something random in our bathroom? We had to use our towels to mop up the flooding. Unfortunately, we had zero service and the towels were never replaced. We ended up using pool towels. The bathroom is dark with no counter space. The room had no shelves or drawers. We were only here 2 nights. If it had been any longer, we would have switched hotels. Something I’ve never done before! The staff themselves though were wonderful! They try very hard.
The staff were exceptional: friendly, helpful, efficient. The property was very clean and net, beautiful pool and layout. Breakfast was also well catered- best omelettes ever made in front of me.
Our accommodation was great. Location to pool and beach excellent.
Nice place to stay
Excellent hotel to stay a few days. Clean and comfortable with a friendly staff and nice breakfast. Centrally located, placing it near many shops and restaurants. It is about a 2 minute walk from the north beach, and about 10 minutes walk from the arrival pier. You luggage will be carried to and from the hotel for you. We weren't at the hotel that much, so lack of a beach view wasn't important to us. The pool area is nice.
Convenient Comfy and friendly
Stayed here 2 nights whilst doing island tours. We had a ground floor room over looking the pool. Very convenient to come and go. 1 minute walk from the beach. Staff were very freindly and happy to help. Very good aircondition and comfy bed.
A days on Phi Phi
Nice small hotel in the heart of Phi Phi. Stayed in one of the bungalows along the pool and it was great. Relaxing and quiet.
The hotel was closed I had to find alternative accommodations the cause me problemas an extra expenses I am still waiting for refund frim hotels.com snd compensation
photos on expedia show a nice bathroom, but that is only for the premium bungalows, not the normal rooms. there's nothing on your site or photos that specifies that. so we had to pay extra on arrival to get rooms that were habitable. the resort blames it on expedia.
Good for a few nights
Average hotel, but then again you won’t find any hotels in Phi Phi with good quality
DO NOT STAY here if you are not planning to party everynight until 3am. Its next to a club/bar and the music will ruin your sleep if you are trying to go to sleep before midnight. Awful for families or couples but great for peo0le looking to psrty all night long.
Good but can be better
No phone in the room to call service.
Nice hotel, reasonable pricing
Good location, nice staff and clean room. Yes it is loud at night being close to a bar and beach party but that is the same everywhere on phi phi. If the balcony door is shut you can barely hear it. It defo did not disturb my sleep. Pillows a little uncomfortable and shower pressure was minimal (so anyone with long thick hair, you can forget about washing it in this hotel) but for the price was decent. Didnt use the pool but it was clean and had a pool bar open for most of the day
lovely place!
On arrival we had Staff waiting for us off the ferry who carried our bag, when we arrived at the hotel we was given a free upgrade, we loved the little bungalow so much we stayed an extra 4 nights. The place was clean and bed was comfy, the only thing was in a morning as our bungalow was near the kitchen etc staff was very noisy in a morning, didn’t bother being quiet at all. Overall we had a great stay, in the middle of busy night life, lots of little shops and the beach was on the same road. Nice place to stay on koh phi phi. Would recommend to anyone looking for fair priced hotel.
The pool at the hotel is very large and gorgeous, and it has both heated and unheated sections. The bungalow was spacious and everything was very clean. The staff were all very friendly and someone even met us when we arrived off the ferry to take our bags and show us the way to the hotel. The only negatives were the harder mattresses (but this seems to be typical of most hotels on the island) and that it is very close to the beach, which is awesome, but it can be a bit loud through the night as it is close to the bars/clubs on the beach. This did not bother us at all but it could bother light sleepers.
Had a great stay. The staff were welcoming despite the language barrier. There is a 1000 deposit fee(cash only) for the key in case you lose it - that was a surprise when we got there but received it when we checked out. We were walked to our room and informed what was and wasn’t complimentary (snacks and water) and how to request room service. The room was clean and tidy. It is very noisy at night because you are in the “party area” so that was expected. We tried the pool, which was also clean and big. No bugs (only some mosquitos) inside. We read previous reviews that the food wasn’t great so we never bothered to try it. Overall it was a pleasant experience and we would stay there again.
This hotel is amazing! In such a great location and perfect for a holiday. Nice clean rooms :)
The room and location was very nice but the washroom was pretty dark and looked very outdated. My room also didn't have great wifi
Nice stay
Room was big with nice bed & good air con. Bathroom was a little dark & shower head didn’t stay up properly so had to hold it to use it. Staff were very nice & friendly. Pool area was lovely. Good location near beach, shops, restaurants & bars but a bit close to some bars which played loud music till 1am every night.
It’s a great place. Everything is clean and tidy. I recommend the bungalow. Most of the staff is friendly. Front desk staff need to be a little bit more friendly and smiling. Other than that I would definitely stay again.
below expectations
was informed during check in that check out time is 11am. 300 baht will be taken for every hour of check out after 11am. need to give deposit of 1000baht upon check in despite already paying the full amount with taxes through hotels.com - room located in a building at the back and right at the top corner which was near a big bar, so it gets really loud till 1am every night. breakfast is simple but small place. so you will need to eat and leave for others to come in. WIFI sucks beyond words. no signal at all.
Good location - uncomfy bed
Bed was a little uncomfortable and the air con didn’t work very well. Did not sleep good either night we were there. Breakfast wasn’t the best. But service from the staff was great and the location couldn’t be any better.
Phi phi trip
Reception could have been better but its the case every where in the island. Location is good. Breakfast is ok.
Great location and one of the newer and cleaner hotels on the island
This is where you stay if you’re partying!!
Not only would I recommend this to anyone I know who visits Phi-Phi but this is probably the only place I will ever stay when I return to the island. It is in the middle of where you want to be, very nice rooms, and the perfect distance to the pier and to the parties. Highly recommend.
Great location, great room they upgraded us for free
Decent stay!
Bed was a little Sandy but it was a basic stay and a basic stay needed. Was really near the night life and our favourite part of phi phi.
The hotel is about a minutes walk away from the beach. The location is right in the hub near the pubs, restaurants and shopping areas. Great rooms and friendly, efficient staff.
friendly staff clean'' nice pool a bit noisy from the neighbors close to the beach
great clean good value nit noisy
clean vlue hotel v good pool clean near bars etc as is every hotel. NOT NOISY and we had back room near beach bars
Close to beach, convenient area, noisy at night
Good hotel for its location as it is literally steps from the beach. Breakfast is decent, but the staff speaks little English so got our order partially wrong almost every day. Little ants in the room, but nothing to be concerned about. Good for younger people who like to stay out late, terrible for families who want to go to bed before midnight. Right behind a big outdoor club so music goes until about 1am every day. Good for younger people into partying, not for families.
Not recommended
Charlie’s is being renovated something we were not informed of so they put us in the resort next door which is not of a good standard. Air conditioning doesn’t work well and reception don’t seem interested in fixing it
Uncooperative staff
Great Value in Phi Phi
Great vaue
There are better hotels to stay at.
I had some bugs in my room because the place is pretty old and not sealed really tight. For me it was a bit overpriced. I don't really like that the pool closes so early on a hot island in the middle of the summertime. If the deals right I would return
They charge for everything
Hotel with a not so lovely view
Never known anywhere like phi phi island from getting off ferry walking through a very smelly and flies could not stand it would not recommend too anyone the room itself wasn't too bad view from balcony is in pictures below . didnt put that view on web site photos will not b returnig the only thing i can say about phi phi island is stay away save ur money
Hotel close to beach and pier
The hotel is located close to beaches and a short walk to Ao Tonsai Pier. However, the bathroom does not have any counters or shelves to store your personal items during your visit. Also we stayed at the hotel for three nights and the hotel staff did not change our sheets or provide us with new bath towels even after asking them directly at the front desk. If you plan to stay here also note that loud music can be heard from the nearby beach clubs well into 3 in the morning.
Nice hotel but not worth the price
Was a nice hotel, nice facilities particularly the pool area. Only downsides it was very noisy at night time and found reception staff on arrival quite rude and was not able to check in until 1.30pm when arriving at 10am. Very expensive for what it is but comparable to other hotels in Phi Phi would recommend.
The hotel stuff attitude was below exceptable. The hotel pool area is noisy. The prices we paid was much higher than the value of the hotel.. The only good thing isthe proximity to the beach..
Close to the beach but very loud at night
It was a nightmare staying here specially the restroom good luck staying here. No phone in the room, the safe not even safe and front desk close after dark. Electric went out and no one there to contact.
if you like to party
the pool is nice. breakfast is o.k. the bongalos are in bad condition, but it looks like the rooms in the building are newer.
Great location right next to the beach and partying. However website said there may be minor construction when i checked in the entire pool was gutted and the whole resort looked like it was under construction. Room was nice but the bathroom smelled SO BAD and gunk all over the taps and mould in the shower. I couldn't get over the awful smell.
Good for a place to crash
For people looking for a place to stay after a night out this would be a good hotel, but probably not for much more. Rooms weren't very clean, the bathroom floor was sandy and there were old cakes of soap on the small divider wall between the toilet and shower. The shower was a small stream of either cold or boiling water. AC was good and it is close to nightlife and food. Breakfast was limited but as you would expect from a budget hotel. The pool was nice! Although there is a second pool currently under construction so there are big piles of sand everywhere. Overall this is a budget hotel, if you want a relaxing and luxurious stay this isn't the hotel for you, but for a place to crash at the end of the night it does the trick.
Disappointing service
We requested to be picked up from the pier and waited about half an hour before we started walking with all our luggage struggling to find it with our google maps. On arrival the lady greeted us and didn't bother to acknowledge that we had to walk the whole way. We paid for the deluxe room and we were put in a standard room with dirty sheets and sand covered floors Over all the breakfast was average and the service was a let down. The pool is probably the only thing this hotel has going for it. On departure we booked a ferry with reception and specifically said the 10.30 ferry as we were on our way there and specified that we needed a shuttle to take us to our next hotel which she agreed and charged us for the 1.30 pm ferry with no shuttle service (which we had to pay to change at the terminal) and rudely refused to have someone take us to the ferry. Would recommend this hotel for people with low expectations and who just need a bed and nothing more. It is not a resort by any stretch of the word.
Easy hotel, close to beach
Quiet hotel just off the beaten track. Very affordable and comfortable. Possibly had bed bugs but not 100% sure however one of us got a rash from bed. Regardless would still recfomend
Very nice place
Reception wasn't that good. Very nice room but renovations going on and noisy. Breakfast was perfect !
Ooh it were lovely.
Perfect location clean serviceable hotel enjoy!
This hotel is located perfectly for beach and restaurants as well as night life so I recommend it for anyone couples singles and family's. It is 5 minute walk from TonSai Pier. We stayed in a cabana near the pool and the room was large and comfortable with a veranda over looking the pool area. The breakfast was fine as was the coffee. Any negative review this hotel has may reflect only on the reviewer as I have lived in Thailand many years and for this price the hotel was up to standard. I would stay here again without reservation. So enjoy your stay just as we did!
Bad !!
Average, we both got bitten sooo much in the beds ! The reception team didn't swanlike they wanted to help ! Loud music ! Couldn't sleep
NIGHTMARE!
First of all there is no manager at the hotel, he/she is in bangkok...so how can they possibly run efficiently or perhaps that was just one of the many lies i was told. When I got there and saw how gross and smelly the place was I tried to get out of my non refundable reservation...why would they want a guest there that doesn't want to be there? they were full, they could have easily sold the room. I asked the person on duty (no manager) if I could cancel and if they were straight up about it, it wouldn't have been so bad, but they pitted me against hotels.com and hotels.com said the exact opposite. all lies. but the place is nothing but a dump and it was a nightmare stay! DON'T STAY HERE!
Average, very loud music from the beach bars
Very average hotel. The room was not very clean. We found some insects in the room and the bed. The sheets didnt seem clean. The hotel is located next to beach in the tonsai village. Very convenient location. However, it is next to the beach bars and clubs and you can listen the music very loud during all the night. You will like it only if you are a party animal. The breakfast is quite poor as well. The swimming pool is small and it doesnt look very clean. We didnt try it. One good thing is that they find you at the port when you arrive at the island and they curry your luggage to the hotel. They do the same when you leave as well. Keep in mind that they require 1000 baht deposit
This hotel was very good.
This hotel was perfect for our 4 night stay. The hotel was very clean, modern facilities, and in a perfect location to the night life, day activities and viewpoint walk. The only thing we could fault was the shower which had a very low water pressure. It is important to note that as its location is very close to the main beach you could hear loud music from the nearby bars late into the night and early morning. This didn't detract from our experience as we were either partying there anyways or we were passed out exhausted from day activities. However other people may not like this. The breakfast buffet was also basic but was fine for our needs with a selection of egg options, toast, basic salad ingredients, and corn flake options. Overall this was a perfect stay and we would stay here again if we went back to Phi Phi.
noise in the evening, but all Phi Phi Island is on party every night If you Want partys...it the place
A average place to stay
I would say this place is only okay. They didnt pick us up at the jetty even upon requesting while booking. The pool close at 8pm, so you are unable to enjoy the pool at night.
Good location and clean, what more do you want?
Only suitable if staying out till 2am everynight
The hotel itself is in good condition and good location, but don't expect a good night sleep if planning on going to bed before 3am. Beach party music stops at 2am but things don't really settle until 3am. Perfect place if you plan to be one of the late ones home every night! Beds/pillows are also very hard, which I struggled to sleep on. Aircon also only had two settings, very very cold or off. Breakfast basic.
We did not have a pleasant stay and won't be back.
I'll start off with the good: -someone from the hotel met us at the port and carried us and our bags to the hotel. - The hotel is a short walk to the beach. The bad: At check in, the hotel attendant kept trying to put my partner and I in twin beds though we had reserved a king sized bed. She kept insisting that we get a double bed and I kept having to tell her that we wanted a king bed. She made us feel uncomfortable. You have to pay a 1000 Baht deposit for the key that you cannot pay by credit card. Cash only. You have to leave your (1) key at the front desk when you leave. When you arrive to your room, you're met with a laminated list of rules and fees if you "damage" items like towels and linens. The wifi just doesn't work. When we asked for help with getting connected we got nowhere. There's a sign by the toilet that tells you not to flush the toilet paper-- not paper towels or sanitary napkins but TOILET PAPER. Very off putting. This wasn't much of an issue for us, but it might be important if you're considering a stay here: there are a few bars in the area that play loud music. You will hear it from your room at night so keep that in mind. There aren't a lot of well-rated hotels in the area at this price point but I would never stay at this hotel again.
Nice hotel close to the beach
And by close, I mean really close! Hotel is handy for Ton Sai village so easy access to the beach, restaurants and bars.
Nothing to Rave About
The hotel's wifi did not work at all. Had to use the computer room. The room was alright. Airconditioning not great. The location is the only thing making the hotel a selling point. Far enough from the noise but close enough to walk everywhere, especially markets and Starbucks! The continental breakfast isn't worth your time. Everything cold and flies on all the food
Great spot to stay
I stayed one Saturday night here at Anita's. Had a great experience too. The hotel staff made it easy to check in and showed me to my room. I stayed in one of the bedrooms overlooking the pool area. The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable! The only negative comment I have was the lighting in the bathroom. It was a bit dark with just the one light fixture. I read a review about the music being too loud as well. I will agree that you can hear the music from some of the bars on the beech. However, the music volume is quite muffled and I had no trouble sleeping through it. Overall this is a great hotel to stay at and I would definitely stay there again.
Avoid at all costs, terrible hotel
Ants, bed bugs, shower didn't work, toilet barely flushed, breakfast was crap, staff weren't helpful, bed was hard, tv was broken. Overall worst hotel ever! Not worth the money
Steps to the beach and food
We had a pool side room for 3 people and we loved our stay. The room was clean modern and quiet. The location was perfect, it's steps from the beach, food, and pier. We weren't expecting anyone to pick us up from the pier, but to our surprise we saw a sign with our name on it and the man carried all our luggage to hotel. It was very much appreciated. They also took it upon our departure as well. The stay were helpful, but not very friendly. They did fulfill all of our requests so it wasn't a big deal. I would definitely stay again.
Phi Phi
Phi Phi Anita was an ok hotel. It is one of the nicer options on Phi Phi within an affordable range, but don't expect any frills. The room is pretty bare, but they do provide complimentary bottled water each day and breakfast. It is also very central to all of the activity. It can be super loud at night, so bring your ear plugs! You are just a 2 min. walk to the beach that has fire shows and bars and about 10 min. walk to the pier. We had rolling luggage, which was fine to wheel through the narrow walking streets to the hotel, but we learned after the fact that you can hire one of the guys to cart your things to the hotel. You may need to arrange in advance with the hotel. We did this when leaving and their staff just met us at the pier with our bags at the time designated. It was tip only (we tipped 100 BHT). There is staff 24 hours/day at the front desk, so that is helpful. The cleaning staff came when I was getting ready and I asked them if they could come back and they just replied "no", so while the front desk was helpful, the other staff on hand were not so much, but if you are on Phi Phi you won't be at the hotel much anyway. There are too many other activities to be out and about doing. Enjoy your trip!!!
Close to the party, far enough for some rest.
This hotel is in a great location close to the busy night-life but far enough away from the noise that you can get rest when you are ready to retire for the night. The rooms were clean and seemed nicely finished.
Very close to the beach and main night life
The deluxe rooms are worth the extra $ for the location only and nothing else. If you are looking for a fun time - stay here. The rooms are clean (washroom could use an upgrade) but is less than a 1 minute walk to the beach & night life. You can hear the music at night but it's not anything that you'll loose sleep over. The pool isn't fancy and there isnt really a lobby. But the room is worth being so central. Booked 3 nights and extended our stay for a total of 6 nights. I would not recommend for families or couples looking for quiet time.
Party fun
Great location if you want to be near the bars and clubs, shopping and the beach!
Peaceful retreat in central Phi Phi.
We stayed in a deluxe room. Little more expensive but well worth it. Modern, clean room with superb air con. Metres from the hustle and bussle of Phi Phi but felt secluded while at the pool, on the balcony or in the room at night.
Good choice in Phi Phi
Near all the best pubs and parties, also just a few steps of the main beach of the island; far enough to keep you away from noise when you want to sleep. Clean and nice pool.
Beautiful private large bungalo
Very nice large house sized room with convenient outdoor shower in addition to the indoor Jacuzzi tub. Very large breakfast as well.
Good party location, no sleep
Great hotel is all you want to do is party. This hotel is right next to the beach and clubs so expect to get no sleep. The hotel staff meets you at the pier when your ferry arrives with a sign and will transport your luggage. The rooms are very basic but clean.
Great experience
Location was perfect (if you don't mind some noise at night- not too bad though). It is 1 minute away from the beach and in the middle of all the bars, restaurants and shops. We stay in one of the casitas and it was great. They are big, beautiful and clean. The swimming pool is gorgeous. The staff was nice and helpful. They also picked us up at the ferry. I would definitely come back to Anita Resort.
bad location
the pictures on the web site were not in match with the reality of the hotel. we booked for 3 nights and left after 1. we are still waiting for our refund. the hotel location is suitable for young travelers that want to party.
Basic but nice
Nice basic hotel. Nothing fancy, but keeping in mind where you are you wouldn't need a fancy hotel to enjoy your time. Great location right next to the beach. The included breakfast is served in the restaurant next door and includes only the most basic choices. The Anita Spa is top notch!
Very Happy
Superb location beside magnificent beach, night life and restaurants. I had time for just 1 night on the Island and this was the perfect place to stay. I had a bungalow with its own sit-out porch and I really loved it. Friendly staff. Strongly recommended.
Here is the corrected text in English: The lights in the shower were not working, the toilet paper was already damaged at the beginning and there was only a little available. We only received new toilet paper the day after calling, instead of the same day. The rooms were dirty; there were stains on the bed and the toilet bowl. Please install better lighting in the hotel, as it is impossible to apply makeup in the evening.
Entspannung sucht man hier vergeblich
Sehr laute Unterkunft
A cama é ate confortável.
Hotel bom.
Hotel bom, cama excelente, banheiro horrivel.
Ok
It’s was ok. Close to the Beach, but a log of Young and load people, playing music. I wouldn’t go again
Phi Phi Anita Resort | Home in Ko Phi Phi | Travala.com
Perfect location and hotel if you are going to phi phi to join in the party scene however, it is pretty loud at night. The hotel does provide ear buds which is very thoughtful
