I loved my stay here. Extremely close to the main station, very clean, has a wonderfully equipped kitchen and close to the discount supermarket as well. I would love to be back there if I could. Best hostel I've stayed at so far.

There was no shampoo, shower jell or towel. Except for this, all good.

It was mistake to choose there. Only area was good close to everything otherwise .... Very noisy, very warm no AC .No breakfast. Bed makes noise. Not good

The property is centrally located near the Hauptbahnhof in Cologne which is great those looking to explore the city or who are traveling. The rooms themselves were well up-kept. Everything extra that was needed (blanket, pillow, sheets) were provided and a towel was rentable (€6 total, €1 fee, €5 pfand). The property’s kitchen and ‘lounge area’ were also well maintained. If you are looking to cook, the kitchen seems to be a great space and is quite large. The ‘lounge’ area has vending machines (for drinks and snacks) and a foosball table (kickertisch). In regards to the sleeping experience- you get what you pay for. The bed was doable, but don’t expect luxury. All around, this was a great stay and very affordable. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a short stay in Cologne.

Had an amazing experience staying here. It was walkable from central station and was very near to all the major attractions in the city. It was very neat and the staff was so friendly.

初めてホステルを利用しましたが、スタッフさんはみんな優しく、同室のゲストさんも静かで良い人でした。駅からもさほど遠くなく料金もリーズナブルでした。また機会があれば泊まりたいと思います。 It was the first time to stay "hostel" for me. The staffs were friendly, the guests who were the same room were can and good guys. The hostel was not so far from Cologne Hbf, but the fee was reasonable as well. If I have chance to go to cologne, I want to stay this hostel again. Thanks a lot;)

Sophisticated hostel close to main train station

For my first experience in a hostel, I think it was extremely satisfying. The room and adjacent bathroom were super clean and in new condition. You received new bed sheets on arrival and paid a 5 euro deposit on a towel which was returned at check out. Breakfast buffet was simple but cheap for an extra 4 euro. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The only thing I am to complain about was the wifi - it was slow and needed constant re-logging in which was quite annoying. Didn’t load videos/Netflix. Other than that, everything was great!

Budget stay, ideal for short break.

It's a hostel but the rooms are spotlessly clean and it's quiet and affordable. just a couple of minutes walk from the main train station, cathedral and alter markt. I'd absolutely stay here again. bring your own towels or you'll have to rent them and you have to collect your bed linen and put it on the bed yourself.

Excellelent location

Was in Cologne for one night two days. Excellent location, very near to central train station. The check-in and check-out were smooth, the room, corridors and dining areas were spotless clean. No noise in the room, had great sleep. Lockers are provided in the room and also they keep luggage after checkout. Breakfast was average. They also hire cycle for 10 Euros (24 hours), I hired it and cycled from Cologne to Bonn and back on the same day. The cycle was sturdy and withstood the 65 Kilometres ride. Will recommend Pathpoint Cologne Backpacker Hostel to all..

Good hostel for overnight trip in Cologne.

Stayed overnight in a private quadroom with my four friends. The hostel is very clean, staff were polite, and it is in a very good location. As long as you just need a comfy bed to sleep in this

Nice stuff, great location and amazing experience.

Very good and comfortable hostel.

Staying at this hostel was excellent, except for a detail. When I arrived, I was assigned to bed 8. When I arrived to the assigned room, I found out that bed 8 was already occupied, so I returned to desk to report it and the hostess told me to pick any other bed. So I picked bed 4 and left some stuff on it. I went out for sightseeing and returned night late, finding out someone else was sleeping in my picked bed. Since it was late, I just picked bed 2 to sleep and take a rest. Then at morning I reported the issue and the host assigned me bed 2 and I didn't have any issue since then. For everything else, it was perfect. Wifi in almost all areas, terrace to relax, kitchen and dining area. Also, it's very close to Köln Hbf.

Clean, but there are bugs

Everything is good except there are bed bugs inside my mattress.

Great Experience

We were on an overnight stop from Berlin to Paris using the train. We arrived about 4pm and walked about 5 minutes from the station to the hotel. We checked in with no problems. We had booked a quad room with private bath. The staff was very nice. You pick up your sheets on the way to your room. It was a three floor walk up and there are no passenger elevators so be prepared to lug your stuff. There are no towels or toiletries of any kind provided. So bring those if you need them. The room was very small but nice and clean. Two bunk beds and a couple of block shaped side table things. There are four lockers in the room with pay keys. Since we were all one family we didn't need that feature but used the space to put our bags in anyway to make a bit more room on the floor. The room was quiet and had a nice view. We didn't use the kitchenettes in the lobby but if I were back packing I would have! The location is amazing. We walked all around the area and there is lots to see. Great facility. Great price.

Very comfortable place

The staff is amazing and the place is so comfortable to rest and also for have a dinner or even for play games or read some books ☺

Convenient and Clean

Friendly staff and very clean room. However, there is no lift in the hostel. We have heavy luggages and have to walk the stairs to our room on 3/F.

could be better

No lift! it was a struggle going up to my room. When I do arrive there, I couldn't figure out how to open the door. Stupid, stupid door, it doesn't have a lever or a knob, I hate it. You have to pull while turning the key to open it. The roommates were horrible people. The kitchen was quite good from what I can see, I didn't get to use it though. If I ever come back to Cologne, I would look for other hostels.

Best Option.

Everything was pretty good. Really close to the train station but not extremely loud. Each bed came equipped with an outlet and light. Wifi was a little shady but who tf cares honestly. Also came with own bathroom which was nice.

Good Hostel at a Good Price

The hostel was good for the price. Room and bathroom were clean. They do require a lot of deposits for different things but it is understandable. Centrally located walking distance from the cathedral and train station. Would stay again.

Nice hostel near Koln central station

It's a nice decent hostel. Hotel staff is good and the rooms were clean. They have big common area and for my room I had bathroom in the room. Bring 1 or 2 euro coins to use the locker inside the room (You will get the coins back after you are done using the locker).

Value for money stay! Love it.

We are a group of 4 so we booked a 4 people room. It is very tidy and clean, staff are very friendly and helpful. There are board games in the common room, so if you have nothing to do, you can chill with your friends playing board games in the common room or in your room. The location is also very good, just 5 minutes from the cologne train station. Definitely recommend this hostel.

Great central stop - Brilliant Staff - Great Price

Well centre Hostel. Very clean and staff were very helpful. Nice beer on sale too. Amazing open plan Guest Kitchen, lots of hobs and pans/pots/utensils...the best i have ever seen in a hostel. Checkout Max Stark nearby 10/10 for kolsch and food.

Great hostle

The Hostel is conveniently located just a few blocks from the main train station, the Dom, the Rhein, and Kolsh breweries. The neighborhood is safe to walk thought. The Hostel was clean, with friendly and helpful workers, breakfast was good for a modest fee, and the showers provided hot water. Wifi is only in the main floor, but was fast and without issues.

Best Hostel Ever

For a hostle this place knocks it out of the park. If you are staying more than one night you can actually use all the amenities. light and electric outlet at every bed. The picture looks like a barn and does not do it justice. Only knock is some of the guests don't understand hostel life but that is on them not the facility.

About the best hostel in Köln!

Literally just across the road from the Haubtbahnhoff. Excellent kitchen facilities to cook your own meals as eating out in Köln isn't cheap. Supermarkets and shops are only minutes walk away. Modern dorms with lockers. Crisp clean bedsheets. Well heated on cold nights. Extra charge by the city council just for visiting but probably the case in all of Köln. Free 10 hour Wi-fi voucher. Many guests are mostly on their mobile devices and laptops and don't want to seem to interact much with other individuals.

Very tidy hostel extremely close to the central station and in turn everything cologne has to offer. Staff are friendly and helpful and rooms are tidy. Definitely recommend.

Very dissappointed

We booked a double bed for ourselves. When we arrived, we were given a room with a bunk bed. When we told the receptionist, he informed us that they gave away the last room with the double bed, and he could not help us. We were very unhappy and will never stay in this hostel again. Nor would we recommend staying here to anyone else.

Misrepresentative

We booked online for 1 double bed. When we arrived, the reception guy said that there was no double bed but only double decker beds. Then why on their site are promoting rooms with double bed? They are very misleading. I have been booking hotel/hostel rooms frequently because I travel a lot and I know what a double bed is and it's not a double decker. I wouldn't trust booking online with them again because they misrepresent themselves as something they cannot offer.

Good place for the value.

Room was comfortable and clean. The only thing not easy was, there was no elevator. It may be common in European countries, but it is hard for aged Americans. I stayed on the first floor (American 2nd fl), so it was Ok. If I had to climb up higher with my luggage, I probably have been left for other place. Other than that, it was a good stay, worth for the money. As well, it was close to the train station what was my main purpose of staying there.

The hotel was opened in 2013, so everything was still quite new. We stayed in a double room, he beds were comfortable. It took about 15 minutes to walk from the Brussels-midi station. Staff was helpful.

A bit too plain, not very homely.

Staff were a bit too formal; didn't give any tips on what to see or do in Cologne, I was just handed a map. Also I had to discover for myself what facilities were in the hostel. Not very homely or a great meeting point with other travellers. A bit too plain and business like. Located in a good neighbourhood but it's a pity about the noise from the roaring traffic and trains all night long. Very thin mattress don't make for a comfortable nights sleep. Clean and modern hostel. Left luggage is free of charge you just need own padlock or can hire one for €5. Also €10 room key deposit.

Perfect!

Perfect for those on a budget! this has ro be the best value for money hostel/backpackers I have stayed in while on a 6 week jaunt around Germany. Clean, cheap, very tidy. Only a 2 minute walk to the main train station and 4 minutes from the Cologne Dom. Staff are knowledgeable, happy to be of service, they have travelled too, so understand your needs and wants.

Good stay but bad internet

everything was good, the staff were nice and the hotel is located at a comfortable walk to the train station. The internet, however, is a problem as our room (B35) have weak wifi signal which keeps getting disconnected.

Great location

Great location next to the hauptbahnhof and very short walk to shops and restaurants. The station is pretty much a shopping centre so you can grab stuff at any time and take back to the hostel. Internet was patchy at times, but okay.

Great location with comfy bed- and its cheap

Very near to the train station, super easy to go all around the main areas and scene spots. Cozy common rooms and bedroom with a very comfortable bed I have to say. I stayed in women dom and they are just so clean and tidy. Lockers are available in the room so it is very convenient. Hair dryer can be requested in reception, which is a very nice offer for hostel. Upon check-in, the staff is professional and nice- well spoken English by the way. The most important is: all these only cost you 21 EURO- what else can you ask for?:)

Clean, fun and affordable!!!

It's probably the cleanest and best kept modern hostel in the world, 5 minutes from central station in Koln. Staff are friendly, and the breakfast if excellent value for money. The rooms are clean as are the bathrooms. Most guests are students and professionals, but you do get some weird people (eg. alcoholics, etc) sometimes, so be prepared, and keep an open mind. The staff are always willing to help and are wonderful people. Bring slippers, because the bathrooms do often get wet!!!

Die Angestellten an der Rezeption waren sehr nett und gingen auf Änderungswünsche und Probleme sehr geduldig und freundlich ein. Ausserdem war die Luft sehr gut im 4-Bett Zimmer.

Die zentrale Lage ist super. Freundliche und lockere Atmosphäre, schöne Gemeinschaftsräume, gute Betten. Es hat alles gepasst!

Super nettes Personal und sehr angenehme Atmosphäre!

Das Hostel ist sauber und zentral gelegen. Für den Preis eine sehr gute Adresse. Nette Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption.

きれいで広い部屋でした。 ただ、スーツケースを持っていたので、エレベーター無しが辛かったです。 また、部屋の鍵がなかなか開かず何人かのスタッフに助けを求めましたが、皆さん優しく対応してくださいました。 支払いの件で質問した際も、面倒がらず説明して下さり安心して泊まれました。 立地も駅近でとてもよかったです。

Hotel für 3 Personen für eine Nacht zum Konzert war in Ordnung

洗濯機は一台しかないですが、なかなかきちんとした洗濯をする事ができます。ランドリールームにはアイロンもありました。施設全体的に綺麗でした。ドミトリー利用しましたが、部屋には大きなロッカーがあり、1ユーロで戻ってくるタイプのもので良かったです。朝食も追加料金払ったのですが美味しかったです。

인터넷만 포기하면

방에는 와이파이가 거의 잡히지 않기 때문에 갱장히 불편할 수 있습니다. 대신 역에서 정말로 가까우니 와이파이가 필요없고 여행만 다닐 것이다 하면 괜찮을 것 같기도하네요.

Sauberes Hostel, gute Zimmerausstattung (jeder Gast hat einen großen Spind, wo selbst ein Reisekoffer Platz findet). Einzig Handtücher sind im Preis nicht inklusive, Bettwäsche jedoch schon. Lage ist perfekt, wenige 100m vom Hbf entfernt.

Muy cerca de la estación central y de la Catedral de Colonia. Limpio y ambiente juvenil. Puedes calentar tus alimentos porque cuenta con cocina. Puedes hacer amigos fácilmente. Sábanas limpias pero tienes que tender tu cama.

ケルン中央駅から近く、徒歩圏内にスーパー、レストラン等が多く、立地条件が非常に良かった。またレセプションは24時間対応可能でとても親切な印象をうけた。 ただwi-fiについて、ラウンジでは使えるが部屋では接続が悪く、ほぼ繋がらなかった。

Единственный плюс хостела - расположение. в остальном по ночам ооочень жарко без кондиционера, откроешь окно сильно не поможет , только ещё добавиться шум поездов проходящих в 100 метрах от твоего окна.

一日滞在

一人旅の宿泊先として一日滞在。部屋は8人部屋、2段ベットの上が就寝するベットでした。まず受付スタッフは自分が英語も喋れないのに、とても親切でジェスチャーでいろいろと伝えてくれた。 部屋にもスーツケースが入るロッカーも完備されており不自由ない。ただ唯一気になったのが同じ部屋の他人のいびきや、朝早く出発する人の荷造りの音、安いから我慢はできるが。

ロケーションが最高のホステル

駅から近く、ケルン観光の目玉でもあるケルン大聖堂も駅を抜けてすぐなので、とても観光に便利なロケーションのホステルです。 女性専用８人部屋を利用しました。部屋の中にトイレとバスルームが別々にあるのも良かったです。少し大変だった点は、早くチェックインしたので部屋がまだ用意されておらず、スーツケースを預けた時、荷物を置く部屋が地下にあったので、持ち運びが大変でした。２階にある部屋までもエレベーターがないので（エレベーターがあるホステルは少数だとは思いますが）荷物の持ち運びに少し苦労しました。同室で話した方は、ホステルのスタッフの方が部屋まで荷物を運んでくれたと言ってたので、頼めば部屋まで荷物を運ぶのを手伝ってくれるとは思います。 キッチンも広々としており、チェックインの時、国籍を聞かれその国籍に対応したケルンの地図をくれたのが、いい印象として残っています。１泊しかしていませんでしたが、もっと泊まりたいと 思えるホステルでした。

일단 호스텔은 매우 만족스러웠습니다. 역과의 위치가 매우 가깝고 합리적인 가격이라는 점, 직원들도 친절하였고, 무엇보다 공용주방의 관리상태가 매우 만족스러웠습니다. 아쉬웠던 점은 2가지로 첮번째는 룸에 들어갈 때 문에 대한 것으로 아날로그인 것은 크게 문제가 되지 않았지만 처음 오면 여는 방법을 해깔리기가 쉽다는 점..(첮 여행이라 그랬을 수도 있다고 생각합니다.)과 가격에 비해 부실하다고 생각되는 식사입니다. (이역시 첮 여행이라 어느정도 뫃고 나쁘다고 이야기 할 수는 없고 머물렀던 다른 호스텔과 비교평균을 내서 나온 결과입니다.)

Lo staff è stato molto accogliente e cordiale. La struttura purtroppo ha un cattivo odore nelle stanze. Letto non molto comodo. Bagno in camera piccolo. Ci sono gli armadietti in stanza con la chiave, molto utili. La tenda alla finestra non era poi molto oscurante. Cosciglio mascherina e tappi per le orecchie. Possibilità di lasciare i bagagli vicino la reception prima e dopo la permanenza, volendo anche con armadietti chiusi a chiave a 2 € al giorno. Posizione strategica.

Köln

It was nice to stay there. Not faar from the Central railway station and from the downtown. clean. it was not very modern but quite comfortable.

ケルン中央駅から、大聖堂とは反対側の出口にでて5分も歩けば着きます。駅の中を突っ切って街に出れるし、駅の中にはいろんなお店があってとても便利な場所です。部屋の中には1人ずつロッカーがあって、共有スペースはすごく綺麗でした！スタッフの方々も気さくで優しかったです。
