Palazzo Pascal is simply an amazing hotel. The location is slightly challenging to get too, but the property is gorgeous in the mountains of Scala. If you’re looking for a quiet and beautiful stay with amazing service do yourself a favour and stay here! At check in we were greeted with a complimentary bottle of Prosecco and lovely treats. The buffet breakfast was solid, and included local cuisine. Some options are a bit more basic but if you select correctly you will really enjoy it. The onsite restaurant has a beautiful view. The food was good but not the best. The service was fantastic and the convenience of the location makes it a fabulous spot while on vacation in Scala/Amalfi. I also recommend visiting Ravello which is close by and the walk to amalfi is absolutely a treat. If you’re up for a challenge you can hike back up, however you can take the bus if needed! I would love to visit again one day! PS, the buses are a little challenging to figure out. You will need to take the bus that has Scala as a destination, and you need to buy a 2 euro ticket. Tickets are a bit of a pain, you will need to find a guy walking around in either an orange or yellow high visibility vest if you’re coming from amalfi. They can be anywhere near the bus stop or in the town square so it can be a game of where’s Waldo. If you have luggage you will need to take the bus or foot the cost of a taxi (highly recommended to use taxi if you have more than a back pack)
Most beautiful and picturesque property
Gorgeous property built into an older 1000 year old structure and beautifully decorated. Feels like a richly appointed home in the best way The food and staff was wonderful. No easy way to get to Ravello but we hiked it everyday. Really loved our time here.
We loved this place. Amazing people and such a cool owner. One suggestion is that water should be complimentary for at the least platinum members. Love you guys. Well sir for everything. The food was superb too.
Beautiful hotel and surroundings. Loved our stay here. If you are staying on the ground floor, the only feedback I have, is it was quite noisy from people walking around and closing doors
Wonderful stay
Wonderful hotel with stunning view from the balcony. The hotel staff are amazing and very helpful. Great breakfast.
The property is beautiful, we went on long walks around the neighborhood it was magical. There were figs trees on the way and we used to have those as refreshments. They have most thoughtful and supportive staff. Staff helped us with area recommendations, reservations and also very kindly gave parting gift. We also had opportunity to meet the owner, beautiful family, so down to earth. We will love to go back.
The staff, property, and restaurant were fantastic. A remote area, but a short walk to town. Would love to return if I ever find myself in the area.
Great stay
Beautiful location, great staff and an excellent stay
This hotel is a wonderful option during your trip to the Almalfi coast.
This place is magical and so is the staff! Highly recommend!
Excellent
Lidia, and the other staff did such an amazing job helping us coordinate everything we needed help with. The room was beautiful and the view was even better. Highly recommend if you’re looking for the perfect getaway.
Anniversary Stay
Wonderful hotel in a great location. Attention to detail and friendly professional staff. Grab a scooter and explore the area!
Absolutely stunning view. Customer service above and beyond. Staff are amazing. Marina. Marco and front desk staff made sure we were comfortable. I will for sure go back.
My daughter and I had a lovely stay at Palazzo Pascal. The service and friendliness of the staff was outstanding. Elaniya, Lidia, Massimo, Mariana were all amazing. And a special shout out to Carlo who helped us with our luggage at 4am in the morning! We would love to come back soon.
we were not given an upgrade even though it was available. we were asked to pay extra 200 euros per night for an upgrade. we waited 4 hours for a taxi at check out. front desk linda could not even arrange a taxi to ravello. you get stuck in the hotel. hotel does not even have a shuttle for a 5 minute ride to ravello . will never go back
The hotel is charming and extremely well maintained in a beautiful setting above Ravello. The staff were wonderful, very helpful and friendly. The rooms well appointed and nicely decorated. We eat in the restaurant twice and the food was very good. Only negative hotel is in la scala which is a 30minute walk (along narrow , steep busy roads ) into Ravello (and anywhere else such as Almalfi so taxis in and out of the village were required and expensive.
Beautiful stay and friendly staff!
Great service and beautiful views! Staff were so helpful in helping us plan and organize transportation. Very clean rooms and great breakfast on the rooftop terrace.
Excellent reception and concierge.
Fantastic hotel and experience
We stayed for 8 nights to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. This is a hotel with two world class assets. First its location, the Lilla suite we stayed in had a 270 degree view from the terrace, encompassing Ravello, Amalfi, Atrani, Maori and an abundance of mountains. Second its staff, they were all marvellous. The restaurant staff were impeccable, service with a smile. The food was delicious. The reception team always willing to help and advise on things to do, and help book trips. Breakfast was wonderful, with Marina cooking up beautiful omelettes and treating us like one of the family. The pool was attended by my friend Marco, a man with a heart of gold, attentive to all our needs and a genuine good guy. This hotel is a real gem, it has a unique combination of high end facilities with a warm and family feel. Not something you usually find in 5 star hotels, which in my experience can feel too corporate, cold and vanilla. Thank you all for a wonderful holiday. Mr and Mrs Smith 😊
Really just one of the most beautiful places you could ever stay at.
Great view of Ravello from the property, hotel staff was friendly and helpful, the restaurant on site had delicious food. We had a very quiet and comfortable stay.
Exquisite boutique hotel.
A beautiful boutique hotel with views to die for - our terrace looked out on to Ravello and Amalfi. Room was beautiful. The food was excellent and I would recommend eating in their restaurant- great recommendation of local wines! Breakfast was delicious served by the beautiful pool! It’s a 30 min walk to ravello or there are buses! The staff could not do enough to ensure we had a lovely stay!
Posizione fantastica, camera luminosa e silenziosa con panorama mozzafiato. Personale Gentilissimo e disponibile. Veramente un posto da consigliare per chi non vuole stare nella confusione di Amalfi potendola raggiungere comunque in dieci minuti di macchina.
We enjoyed a few nights at Palazzo Pascal just as the COVID-19 travel restrictions lifted. It was the perfect home based from which to enjoy the Amalfi coast. The hotel is based in a lovely Palazzo off of the main road. From the pool you have a stunning view of Ravello. The service was superb. Although COVID-19 infection rates in this area are very low, the hotel took many measures to ensure guests' safety and we felt both comfortable and safe there. We highly recommend.
This property is a hidden gem in the Amalfi region and it has been our favourite stop on our honeymoon visiting various stops throughout Italy. The service and staff were incredible. They just opened a restaurant a few months ago and we had the best grilled squid we’ve ever had while we sat by the pool with a view of the ocean and Amalfi. Yes, it is a little out of the way, but we found it very easy to get around through taking the bus to ravello/Amalfi or having the hotel arrange a taxi service for us. Thank you to the manager, staff and owners for making our stay so special. We will be back!
Simply the best!
We had an amazing time at Palazzo Pascal. The room was beautiful, spacious, tidy and the view was breathtaking. The hosts treated us like family and even helped us through some tough spots when our car battery died. Loved it!
Great boutique hotel near Ravello
Wonderful small boutique hotel in quiet location with sweeping view on Amalfi coast and Ravello. Hotel is well maintained with great care of almost every detail.
Beautifully decorated hotel
The interior decoration is exquisite. Beautiful view. A bit challenging if you have lots of luggage because it requires to carry them across a pretty long set of steps in the town. The master bedroom was a bit tight.
Beautiful villa with a view
We enjoyed our stay and the villa was lovely from the rooms, balcony, pool area to the breakfast terrace. The view was absolutely amazing and we spent hours just admiring it. The home has beautiful handmade ceramic tiles throughout and many other lovely ceramic touches. Having a car or a vespa would have made the stay more enjoyable as it is not close to restaurants or shopping and the bus does not come by often but that was the only drawback to our stay.
Lovely hotel with amazing views
Madelina made us feel very welcome and our stay could not have been any better!
Great Place to Stay
I would say that the Palazzo Pascal is a beautiful Villa. The place is amazing to stay in. I had a bit of bad luck when I went because the air conditioning wasn't working properly and this last August they had record highs for the temperature. So my first night there wasn't too comfortable because of the room temperature. However, the hotel staff was very accommodating and after I talked with them they brought in a couple of extra fans and the second night was very comfortable. So I did like that they put in an extra effort for us to have a good stay even through those record high temperatures. I would also add that the hotel is not at walking distance to Amalfi Coast. So you have to depend on the bus schedules to get there. Also, if you are not the walking type then you wouldn't want to stay there because you have to walk like 15 to 20 minutes to some good restaurants that are in Scala. Otherwise, the villa is great and the view is just out of this world.
Very nice and clean hotel, recently renovated, and fantastic staff. Very serene with a great view.
perfection
Amalfi coast is amazing would recommend it to any one. Hotel Palazzo Pascal is in a quiet location just what you need after a busy day out. Marina was the best host you could wish for.
A perfect retreat with the best view
Everything was just wonderful , they where so helpful , the pool was perfectly clean and had the best view
Beautiful place, unpleasant stay
Look, this place is stunningly gorgeous. It has one of the most beautiful and unique views I have ever seen in my life and is very clean and tastefully decorated. Pictures don't do it justice- I'd give it a 20/10 for the view. Amazing. However, the stay was unpleasant from start to finish. First of all it is not in Ravello. It is in a totally different town- Scala. And it's not even in the town of Scala, it's about as far up the hill as you can go (hence, the incredible view.) It was a small nightmare for me trying to find this place, because I took the bus from Amalfi to Ravello (because it is advertised as being "in Ravello"), and it's not even close to the center of Ravello. It's a 15 min drive from there. If you're arriving by car, I suppose it would be OK, but if not it's totally a pain to get to. I travelled the entire day to get there, arrived around 7:30pm exhausted from trying to find the place, checked in got settled. I was then told the pool was closed at 7pm, and I couldn't even sit by it (I've stayed at hundreds of hotels, B&Bs, and vacation rentals and have never heard of this.) Unpleasant. I then went to enjoy the beautiful view from the terrace, and the manager came out and was removing the seat cushions out from under where I was sitting ... he said because he thought it was going to rain.. it didn't. Long story short it wasn't a very welcoming vibe. The room was hot and the A/C couldn't be turned down cooler. In the morning the cleaning lady literally knocked on my door at 11:01am (checkout time is 11am) - who does that??? Anyway so long story short if you want an incredible view and you're arriving by car and have GPS you may enjoy the property- but I wouldn't personally recommend it based on the poor service.
The online photographs can never do justice!
We stayed at Palazzo Pascale for 4 nights. The immaculate rooms are carefully designed with super kitchen facilities and stunning hand painted crockery from the owners ceramic shop/ factory in Ravello, our room ( Rosa Canina)overlooked Ravello. We walked in the morning in the stunning surrounding area( replete with walking trails, involving a great deal of uphill steep steps and gigantic windfall lemons to collect)We then returned to swim in the beautifully refreshing pool, wonderfully presented with ample towels and a beautiful view from every angle;heaven. If you enjoy peace, tranquility, high standard accommodation( even the toiletries are exquisite and made with olive oil)and wish to be a little further on from the tourist hub of Ravello, this is the place for you. The bus stops outside some steps from Palazzo Pascale too. Scala is a 6 minute walk away with a supermarket, grocer, butcher( alas no fresh fish)a further 20 minutes downhill to Ravello is necessary. Atrani is a lovely 2 hour downhill walk with fresh springs en route,a lovely unspoilt beach town with gorgeous restaurants. Have a refreshing swim and get the bus back up ( 20-25 mins)if you don't wish to walk back. A truly wonderful holiday, I highly recommend this place. We will be back!
Most fabulous hotel ever
Staff were fantastic, room was immaculate. Can't wait to book again!
"Welcome to Paradise" said Marina the housekeeper as she greeted us from outside the hotel and she wasn't wrong! A beautifully peaceful location with stunning views of Amalfi and Ravello. Highley recommended. Great location. Fantastic restaurants. Bus service rather inconsistent but Mario the local taxi driver more than made up for this ❤
P Pascal was enjoyable, clean and serene
We were greeted by Marina and she treated us like royalty. Very caring and accommodating with every request. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality! We miss you already and haven't even reached Seattle yet!!
Smart rooms and fabulous views in Scala
We were looking for somewhere quiet out a bit out of the way for our short break without the children. Palazzo Pascal fitted the bill perfectly. Located at the bottom of a series of stone steps Minuta is a small hamlet outside of Scala. It is very quiet and peaceful here, (except for the occasional barking dog). The smart rooms are a good size and very well appointed, good shower, a mini-bar and tea making facilities in the room, the building looks recently repainted though there is still some renovation work going on in the basement.Marina, who serves breakfast and looks after the guests is very charming and helpful and is on hand to give advice most of the time. She speaks good English.
Away from the maddening crowd
A lovely quiet retreat high up in hillside. A car is recommended if you can bear driving in Italy!!!
Great little b&b
Nice little b&b. Very friendly staff. Great views of Ravello and Amalfi coast in a quiet village. At times we had the place to ourselves and be great to hire the whole place. Lovely ceramics from local owner. Highly recommended.
Great hideaway
We came on a last minute trip to the coast. We got lucky to find this wonderful place. Got there kind of late and was unable to find a place Open for dinner. Did find a nice market and cooked in the room
I would definitely recommend this hotel.
On our tour around three Italian regions and staying at multiple hotels, this was very different. In a good way. It has beautiful views looking across the Amalfi coast. In fact from my bed I could open eyes in the morning and look out at the stunning coastal view and watch the sun rise. Bliss. You could just sit, relax and watch the view from high or get your hiking boots on and explore the many beautiful hillside villages. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this region.
