Everything was perfect for our stay. From check-in to breakfast to housekeeping, the staff were friendly and efficient. The spaciousness of our room, the amenities, and the good beds were very welcome. The buffet breakfast was vast, delicious, and unexpected. The rooftop pool was chilly, but it was delightful to sit in the sun up there. A small, but well-appointed gym was useful. Great location with many dining and shopping options nearby. If we return to Malta, this hotel will be our first choice, as it's an incredible value for money.

I can say that from check in to check out it was perfect. The price for 2 nights could be a little cheaper. Super good breakfast. Very close to the bus station, very close to the center.

Great hotel to visit Pozzallo & surrounding areas

Osborne hotel is in the outskirts of Pozzallo but just minutes away from the city. It is very clean and well settled. The restaurant is very good and service was excellent

I enjoyed my stay, hotel is in a great location. The wifi in my room was terrible. It was great having a pool with the heat in Malta in Aug.

Great location for easy access to all the beautiful sites, shopping and dining. The rooms were a bit warm and the lack of a real shower made for a wet situation every time I used the hand show with there being no shower curtain.

Fantastic location in centre of Valletta. This was our second visit to the Osborne so knew how good it was. Thoroughly recommended.

The Osborne was a great stay in malta. Centrally located in Valetta, we found that it was very easy to get anywhere on the island with a short walk to the bus depot. There were many nice restaurants and activities nearby for the evening when we wanted to stay closer to the hotel. As for the room itself, it was very clean and comfortable. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and we found that we got great sleep as a result. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. Would absolutely stay here again!

Superb !!!!! Two ideas: 1. Get proper corkscrews for the bar staff in the 'Blue Room'. 2. The breakfast clearing table (greeting table) by the door in the 'Breakfast Room' is VERY VERY untidy (maybe dirty) ....... this is disappointing.... because breakfast at Osborne is very good.

The Osborne is located in a quiet residential area of Valletta. Not far from the busy tourist district, it is a nice escape from the city BUZZ. There is a park very close by with beautiful views of the harbor. Restaurants and shops are minutes away. The hotel is clean and well-maintained. My first room was very nice, but I had to change because the TV didn't work. The 2nd room was relatively small but had everything I needed. Breakfast was exceptional and included Mimosas—a nice treat. The restaurant serves breakfast only. The pool area is nice, but there is no pool bar, as indicated on Expedia. The staff is amiable and helpful. The front desk clerks can help with bookings and directions. I would stay here again.

Best Hotel

Another excellent and thoroughly enjoyable stay. All of the staff were friendly, professional, knowledgeable and courteous. The hotel was spotless and the food top rate. Michael is a credit to the Hotel and a real pleasure to meet and seek advice. Cannot wait till our next visit.

Had a lovely few days at The Osborne. The staff on reception go above and beyond with advice on what to do and booking transfers to airport and excursion ticlets. The breakfast is very nice with a lot of choice. Location is perfect base as in central Valetta so very close to waterfront and also bus station with buses that can take you anywhere for 2 euros. Rooms clean and comfortable. Highly recommend for a short stay in Valetta.

Excellent stay

Really loved this hotel - reception so welcoming, great location for both Valetta and exploring Malta with busses and boats. I arrived via bus with a suitcase in the dark, and it was easy to find in about 5 minutes. Lovely breakfast and loads of bars and restaurants nearby. Rooms lovely decorated and bathrooms excellent.

PERFECT location in Valletta, but needs updating

PROS: Perfect location, lovely staff, good breakfast. The Osbourne was very accommodating, I was able to check-in an hour earlier - as I arrived on an early flight, they assisted with booking all my tours & excursions (& my late night food deliveries) - I had an enjoyable 4 day stay. CONS:I travelled in March, the temperature in Valletta was getting warmer & the room had no A/C, so it was pretty warm at night. The staff were helpful & brought me a fan, but sadly it wasn't very effective. My room needed updating, as there were some prominent cracks in the walls & the shower was handheld, which was REALLY irritating, but I may have been given this room due to my early check-in. Wi-Fi was also a bit sketchy times. Other than that I had no issues.

The hotel is spotlessly clean, great location and beautiful view of the city from the top floor terrace. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

I absolutely couldn’t fault it. This is a five star experience from a three star hotel. Everything was spotlessly clean. All of the staff were so pleasant and friendly towards guests and towards each other. A great breakfast menu and a spacious dining room. The bar was relaxing after a long day exploring

Osborne stay

We felt very comfortable at Osborne Hotel. The staff are friendly. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast every morning. It was a pleasant experience and if I stay in Valletta I will choose It again.

Week stay at the Osborne

Just back from a week in Malta and stayed at the Osborne. Very handy location, close to the bus terminal, restaurants, sights, ferries to Sliema and the Three Cities. Check in was quick and easy, staff were helpful with any enquiries I had.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Osbourne, hotel was as advertised. Staff really welcoming and friendly.

Lovely hotel

A really lovely hotel in the heart of Valletta. Extremely clean and very efficient staff. Very nice breakfast with varied choices. As is often the case with Hotels.com, my room had a horrid view of other windows and pipework but that is hardly anyone’s fault as someone has to have these rooms. I would definitely like to stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Hotel Osborne was super well located to visit the beautiful city of Valletta and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Really feel like we couldn't have picked a better hotel for our stay, it was perfect. Great location, restaurants around the restaurant were lovely. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was brilliant, full cooked breakfast buffet despite expecting continental breakfast only when we booked. The outdoor pool is small but was quiet while we were there so it felt like our own private pool. Aircon in the room was very welcome as we stayed in July in 36 degree heat! The fridge in the room was also a useful addition so we always had cold water. The hotel let us check in an hour or so early and held our luggage for a few hours on the final day too. Honestly can't say enough good things about Osbourne, would thoroughly recommend, thanks for a great stay!

Very nice, friendly staff, good location. I’ve only spent the nights in my room so I haven’t tried the various hotel facilities or restaurant but everything seemed well organised.

Great hotel

We were really pleased with the hotels location and all the hotel staff were helpful and polite (especially the young lady on reception in the evening). Breakfast was good and rooms more than adequate. I would highly recommend for 3 star hotel.

Holiday

Had a lovely time very relaxing stay and very pleasurable

Very welcoming but avoid room 101 if you don’t want to woken up early by kitchen staff. Loads of eating places nearby which makes up for no evening meals at the hotel. Located ideally for local amenities. Bus depot about 15 minutes walk away. Hop on/off bus slightly longer.

Rooms kept clean. Air conditioning very good. Hotel recently refitted but little thing's like the soap tray in the shower, placed right in the centre so you bang your arm on it. Apart from that the hitel was was perfec.

Two night stay

Stayed for two nights prior to flying home after staying in Gozo with family, so as to be nearer the airport. Great choice of hotel, ideal location beautiful inside, lovely rooms, great staff and breakfast.

I do not recommend this property bec it's very noisy. They have a bar, and they allow drunk people to speak loudly and disturb other people until 12 at night. Also, in the morning, there is a lot of noise from breakfast. The acoustics are horrible. I did not get any sleep at night because every hour there was some drunk moron in the hallway. The hotel is big, so there is bound to be drunk people drinking bottles of wine at the bar, and many groups, singing loudly without any consideration for other people. They should have some kind of policy on respecting other guests.

Four nights to stay, absolutely feeling clean, quite & safety, especially for just 10min walk to access the City gate bus terminal and also easy to find quality cafe & restaurant around this area. Final recommend this hotel

Valletta weekend break

Comfortable and relaxing, good position for exploring Valetta room was ok shower facilities above bath could be better as no shower curtain or enclosure Buffet breakfast was very good lounge bar area was relaxing

Lovely hotel, very close to the centre and yet far enough away to be quiet. Easy access to taxi's and restaurants, friendly, helpful but not intrusive.

AC does not work, they wanted to double charge me for the night because their system is messy. Poor breakfast, low quality stuff.

Great location!

Great check in, friendly staff, nice breakfast. Room are small but nicely decorated. The floors needed to be cleaned better (lots of dirty socks). The best part is the location. There is a plunge pool, but I never used it as I was out exploring.

A few niggles

Mixed experience:- PROS - great location, half decent breakfast, clean room CONS - shower very difficult to use due to the rather silly location of the soap tray (petty I know but relevant), attitude of a certain member of reception, never sure when bar was supposed to be open or closed, pool area very small

Great value and location

Really nice hotel, spacious room with air conditioning and rooftop pool. The pool was small, but anyway nice, unfortunately it was not super clean. Apart from that the staff was outstanding and we had an amazing stay!

Good, but horrible wifi

Everything good except the wifi.. paid over €21 in over charges since wifi kept disconnecting... and I had to keep going to lobby or hallway..

Fabulous and conveniently located hotel

The location is superior to explore Valetta and mainland Malta. It is close enough to the attractions to be an easy walk, and far enough to be quiet. It is not far from the bus terminal, so getting to others parts of the island is a breeze. The rooms were very clean and recently refurbished. Minor complaints: maid service did not bring new soap (important in Covid 19); shower door did not have a tight seal, so water was all over the floor. The roof top pool, although small, was the perfect to refresh at the end of the day. I would heartily recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again.

The bedrooms were very small although clean. The bar area had music television playing constantly at too loud a volume despite us asking for it to be turned down.

Friendly and helpful reception staff, hotel was super clean, room was spacious, location was fantastic for seeing Valletta, very walkable!! Room didn’t have a standup shower; it contained a tub with a hand held shower mounted low on the wall.

Good location in very expensive Valetta at reasonable price! All good with Hotel & I liked to have a small balcony.

Amazing hotel

Booked one night before heading back home. Wished we stayed here at least another night in Valletta. Hotel was renovated and was made to look antique. It had great character, with lovely friendly staff. The breakfast selection was great. The rooftop pool area was great place to relax after a day of walking.

A very warm and personal approach by the hotel team led first and foremost by the excellent front desk team: Saviore and Michael and the other gentlemen. You really make an extra effort to look after your guests in a personal way and it is appreciated. Great location in Valetta - we would not stay anywhere else in Malta!

Good enough

In the center, breakfast ok, room and bathroom large well equipped. Pool is on the roof, small but with drink and eat facilities. A little more expansive.

Clean, convenient to everything. Bus stop to anywhere 5 minutes away.

Great Boutique Hotel

Great boutique hotel very kind , nice staff . Location it is very good . 10 minutes walking the main drag where is all the action ...lots of restaurants and shops . The hotel has a rooftop restaurant and a small swimming pool . The only thing is hard to use it because you have to walk through the restaurant .... I would recommend this place for a few nights .. Housekeeping could up the game a bit .

Nice hotel in Valletta

We had a nice stay. The staff is very polite and professional. The breakfast is great in a beautiful room on the main floor. We didn't see the pool that was being repaired. We had a room for 3, with 3 twin beds, which was quite crowded but difficult to avoid. The room however had a large bathroom and a large built-in closet plus dresser. Good location, quiet nights.

Had a lovely time staying at the Osborne. The room was comfortable and well looked after. The staff were friendly and helpful and the decor of the hotel was lovely. Would highly recommend this hotel to everyone .

I am extremely disappointed and I feel like they robbed me. I booked these hotel because of the pool. In the description of the hotel it was saying they have a outdoor pool and also on the photos was a small nice pool. When I arrived they told me my room is not ready and they just let me wait for about one hour. Without even apologizing for it. Then I asked about the pool and they told me it has some time that it is under construction while I booked the hotel just one day before and nothing about it was mentioned online. The staff was so rude and not even trying to somehow apologize or offer something else for the inconvenience that they had caused with the pool and the delay of my room. During my stay in the morning the cleaner just entered in my room while I was sleeping (without even waiting for my response after they nocked in the door. They just entered immediately) I told to them I don’t need cleaning and still they come 2 more times. When I checked out a couple was checking in and the staff did the same with them. I would definitely tell to everyone to never ever stay in these hotel. These is definitely the worst hotel I ever experienced and these service you don’t get even when you pay for a super cheap hostel.

My (double) room was on the small side, but functional and nicely decorated. Bathroom a bit on the dark/small side, and shaving mirror about 20cm too low. Shower cabin could have used a renewal, but clean and in good working order. Good in room TV/radio channel availability. Comprehensive breakfast selection, worth the extra money. In room Air Conditioning was very weak and it took hours to get the room down to 23C even. Also the advertised pool / rooftop area was closed, so that was a bit of a disappointment. Property is conveniently located and staff was nice and helpful

Good base for exploring Malta

The hotel is well placed in a side street near the centre of Valletta and is not far from the bus station with its excellent services to the rest of Malta including the airport. The hotel is smart and well maintained. Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable, if rather gloomy due to a poor outlook, but in a cramped site in the town that is probably hard to avoid. There is a pleasant lounge and dining room. The food is good if not outstanding. Generally it makes a good base to explore the area, if not one luxuriate in.

We liked the position of the hotel in relation to the centre, also staff were extremely helpful and cheerful. We felt the housekeeping of the room was poor, sheets were not changed, it appeared she came in quickly pulled the covers over, threw the cushions on the bed and on many days did not even bother left them on the floor, the bathroom did get clean towels and a quick clean. The breakfasts were adequate, however we decided to eat in the hotel on one evening but were told to have a look to see what was left before we made a decision, it was only 7.45 pm but all had almost gone, we ended up eating out. The bar seats could do with a clean down the sides of the cushions and the glass taken out of the middle of the tables and cleaned. Overall hotel adequate for our needs.

Loved the location of the property - so close to everything in Valletta yet away from the hustle and bustle. Comfortable rooms, nice showers, friendly staff and a super breakfast. Would highly recommend this hotel to visitors of the city.

Great Hotel in Best Location

The Osborne was an old fashioned hotel of a very high standard of service. There is a restaurant, a bar, a pool, a gym, a luggage room, and even room service. The Staff was very professional and helpful in every way possible. Plus, the location was the best. And the VIEW of the Harbour from Room 601 was picture-perfect. Loved it!

Lovely, well sited place. Friendly staff. My room rather small but very cosy and quiet and I was on my own this time. Would try for a room with a Balcony and view of the port next time!

New Zealand couple

Great location. Room a bit small but the staff certainly made up for that. Reception, dining room, chef and bar staff couldn't have been better. Really impressive. The food was excellent. We took the half board option, not usual for us but dinner...be prepared to be amazed. Brilliant decision. The variety and quality of food amazing. Thanks to all of the team at the Osborne. You made our stay very special.

Hotel Osborne Valletta

Hotel is in quiet street on edge of walled city of Valletta. All tourist sites are an easy walk away. Lots of building work going on around the area but little noise. Traffic on narrow streets can be a bit scary. We were persuaded to upgrade to half board and we were glad we did. Food was tasty and plentiful. Some minor maintenance issues in bathroom. Shower unit leaked a little at its corner and towel rail was loose on wall and hung at 45 degrees. Rooms compact but comfortable. Bottle of water on arrival, would have been nice if it was replaced daily.

Maintenance informed of booked sink. Not sorted i n two days stay. Bar closer at 10pm on second night. Nobody would serve a drink. Poor staff attitude.

Excellent hotel and stay

Authentic hotel in a great location no more than 10 minutes stroll from all the attractions of Valletta. Fantastic restaurants within a minute or two of the hotel and the hotel bar itself was good value with plenty of life .

The hotel was very elegant and charming.In the heart of Valletta.We enjoyed our stay there.
