Great location near the beach with easy beach access. These old school cabins are clean and coxy with all the essentials for spending a few days cooking for yourself and spending time on the beach. They are in need of considerable exterior maintenance (wooden steps, decks, paint, trim replacement, metal railings, etc.). The heating system has been replaced and is ok once the room is warmed up but takes a while to do that - marginal for the size of the cabin we had.

The road was closed to the property so we could not get there. This was not disclosed when I called them prior to booking. I got an email stating a key would have to be picked up at a different location and with the detour would add 2 additional hours of driving. I would not have booked this place had I known all this and we were unable to even get to the room and could not stay the night.

Was very good very clean overall great place to stay

These are little beach cabins. A short walk to the beach. Decently equipped kitchen for an overnight stay. A couple of restaurants within an easy walk, too.

Old and tiny bit perfect location.

The unit is very old but had a perfect location. Super clean. Tiny. Amazingly comfortable bed. First impression was NO, but it grew on us. The beach is wonderful and you must go through the tunnel.

Stay was absolutely wonderful, they are older cabins and there’s a parking lot in between the cabins and the actual beach- but you cannot beat location, cleanliness and size for the price! Beautiful little town, and we can take our dogs! Will be back!

It was what i needed

Cozy place with easy access to the beach.

I love the beach. Great location. The cabin has a new floor but gritty from sand. I assume it was cleaned but it was gritty. Everything is functional but not in good condition. If I was a college kid with friends on the beach, this is the place, but I’m 62, solo and want a cabin to be enjoyable. Note, heating in winter is a weak space heater. Also no cellular service at Oceanside. Back to the 1970s.

Clean and lovely cabin with a spectacular view!

I love this spot, and I will be back many times in the future. The place was very clean and everything worked well, and the view from the front porch was stunning. Walk right out onto the beach or to the Cafe next door! Really charming cabin that had everything I needed to cook a large meal. Perfect spot to bring the dogs and relax for a few days, thanks!

This place was perfect for a weekend getaway. It comfortably fit our family of 3 2 small dogs. Property was clean and view of the ocean was perfect. We loved the quick walk to the beach.

The cabins are rustic in a delightful way. I’ve been coming here got two years and have never been disappointed. Tammy and Joey and their crew have always made me feel welcome. My highest grades at all levels.

Rebecca tried her best but this place is worn down, poorly maintained, a rip off. What a disappointment

everything was great. just having to go back to the office a couple of miles away and get the keys, because the keys weren’t where they were supposed to be was a bit of a headache

The shower didn’t have enough hot water the first night. The sink in the bathroom didn’t drain efficiently. Also didn’t expect the place to be this tiny! We barely had room with the two of us and our dogs. Arm chairs in the living room were torn. There was only one side table by one side of the bed. The location was good, the restaurant nearby had great food but we won’t stay here next time as the overall condition was not good.

What a great stay! Thanks to Rebecca who answered all of our questions and made our stay easy and challenge free. The weather was fabulous (I know that you didn't control that...but still). The bed was comfy and we were right on the beach. Loved being able to have our dog with us too! We will definitely be back and will recommend it to our friends!

I do NOT recommend!

Terrible. Smelled like a gas station restroom. I do not recommended. We left at 6am to get out of the smell. The room lacked cleanliness so we kept our shoes on the entire time. These cabins need an entire gut and remodel. We aren’t high maintenance people and can deal with old rooms but this was dirty. Stained towels, hairs on towels, and the base of the toilet didn't look like it had been cleaned in a while. The location is incredible so this was disappointing. I would recommend Tunnel Beach but not staying at this location.

Close to the beach. Classic homey unit, not a new cookie cutter modern condo with no personality.

Couples Getaway.

The location and ocean view was amazing. However, the property could use some updates. It was very damp in the room and not as clean as it should be.

Great cabins super easy ck in n out. Great view nice kitchen !

Could they add a box of Kleenex to the room? Otherwise amenities were fine.

Quaint and rustic cabins

Very quaint cabin. Like stepping into the ‘70s. Clean and well equipped with items you may need.

Bathroom sink full of gunk from the drain.

The stair railing up to the cabin was unsafe. The proximity to the beach was fabulous. The check in process was inconvenient, no on site manager.

The bathroom was dirty. My husband had to clean pink mold around the sink faucet. There was barely enough cookware to prepare a meal. No cookie sheet. Two plastic dollar tree bowls, one was cracked. A few staples in the cupboard have always been in previous rentals there was a little salt and pepper. You would be hard pressed to fit 4 people around the table.

Love the birds.

The view of the bay is lovely. The chairs and benches available to to sit and enjoy the view are most welcome. I counted 42 brown pelicans feeding right in the water in front of us. There were cormorants and gulls and... And near our chairs we were visited by a Cedar Waxwing.

Great place we have stayed there 3 times and will stay more. It’s a basic cabin, no frills but it does what it is there for- steps from the beach!

A+ location, funky cottage design, billing problem

Front desk staff were kind and helpful getting us oriented. The cottage is definitely vintage - funky design, low ceiling in the bathroom (like 6'6" or so). There was a dirty vine growing into the bathroom base board from underneath, and it had been cut, the smoke detector was hanging down by its wires, one of the two bedside lights didn't work, and one lightbulb was out in the overhead light - so the upkeep seems to be just barely keeping up. I was charged both by Hotels.com and by Ocean Front Cabins.com and Ocean Front Cabins didn't send me an invoice so I didn't see it until a review of my credit card statement - Ocean Front Cabins manager Rebecca said that Hotels.com caused the double charge and said to reach out to Hotels.com to inquire - Hotels.com said it was Ocean Front Cabins that charged me and they will try to sort it out with them. The location is excellent right in front of the beach. Keep expectations low and you'll enjoy!

Liked the location near the ocean. The room was dirty. When we first arrived, i removed my shoes. My feet felt gritty and had visible dirt from the floor. The night stand next to the bed was dusty, dirt/mold in the back window. The t.v didn't work, the coffee maker was dirty. When we arrived back from a fishing trip Saturday afternoon. There was no parking at the hotel or the beach access below. There is no signs indicating hotel cabin parking only. Chairs and bed where very uncomfortable to set in or sleep on. These cabins could do a lot better. Also not a hugh deal but there is no phone service in Oceanside, this was never communicated ahead of time. And the wifi is very spotty.

This property needs a lot of work. No screen on one window, one window with tissue stuffed in a big hole in the screen. Green plant material growing from the top edge of the floor cove base in the bathroom, disgusting. Walls must be full of dirt and mold. Paint peeling on ceiling.

The only thing bad that happened was the doorhandle came off and I was locked in the room for a little bit and you have no cell service. Talk to the housekeeper the next day and told her what happened just so the next occupants want to have to deal with the same situation.

The location of the cabins is absolutely amazing, right on the edge of the beach. We sat outside, on the porch, anytime we were at the cabin. The bedroom and sitting areas were comfortable however the cabin was definitely in need of attention. Vines growing in through the electric outlets, dirty towels left behind from previous renters, patchwork on ceiling hanging open...

This is a no frills cabin. Don’t expect anything other than a bed and bathroom. Hot water is limited. No TV no cell wifi is spotty. Poor parking in daytime but frees up at night. Nice ocean view, can hear it at night. Room was clean but smells strongly of cleansers.

Five stars! Very clean and comfortable.

Excellent stay! The cabin was immaculate and the beds were super comfortable. Steps to the beach! Everyone in town was super friendly event though it was a busy holiday weekend. Looking forward to our next visit to these cabins!

Great view, beach was awesome with a cool mountain tunnel! The Current cafe was amazing for breakfast and in walking distance. Bathroom and shower is small.

This isn't fancy or slick, and the amenities are very basic... BUT it's just a few hundred steps from the beach, and it reminded us of the cabin where we honeymooned. However, THIS cabin has electric heat, electric stove, cable TV, wifi, AND hot water that doesn't require you to build a big fire in the wood-burning stove first. If you need everything to be new and modern, you won't like this place... but we LOVED IT!!

Was exactly what we were looking for. Quaint, quiet, and easy walking distance to the beach and cafe.

They had throw rugs and they were dirty a dirty was cloth left in the shower had to wash dishes before useing them. Other then these issue it was quite and nice our second time going there and will go back again

Good communication, nice location—especially for breakfast! The Blue Agate, a few steps away, was excellent! Overall good, but toilet seat in cabin 19 was loose, water in kitchen and bathroom sink drained slowly, and the coffee maker was very dirty. I ended up cleaning it.

Area was absolutely beautiful.... Cabins were alright had a few minor issues such as sink constantly dripping and cold water valve in shower was not working. Other then that had a great time. Both cafe's next door are great and very conveniently located.

Run down old buildings. Lights with d out lightbulbs. Shower has no cold water, so it was scalding hot. The kitchen faucet dropped all night, couldn’t be turned off. The pick up location for the key was far away and closed early so we had to cancel part of our vacation to get there on time. Nobody around to help us. Location was amazing.

Beautiful little area. Walking distance to the beach, lots of wildlife around, very peaceful.

We left after only being there one hour. Toilet was loose. Not just the seat the whole toilet. There was plants growing out of the baseboards. Requesting a refund please

Room advertised as having kitchenette and it did not. We had to go back to Tillamook to cook food we bought for dinner and breakfast the next morning. Check im said nothing about after 6pm considered a "late" check in and that the office was closed. Coffee was probably worse coffee ever had in the room. Bugs flying in the room and they must now this is an issue as they have a fly swatter in the room. Stair way into cabin is a lawsuit waiting to happen as no hand rail as it has been broke and not replaced and no light outside. Then tall grass outaide made it slippery. Just very disappointing we should of just stayed in Tillamook at hotel, we thought it would be nice with the kitchenette as your pics show a stove....but no stove.

This is the absolute worst place I've ever stayed. Way overpriced and overrated. Front porch plastic chairs cracked and unuseable. Sofa and beds copletely worn out. Fridge was rusty on the outside. Service was the absolute worst. Ran out of toilet paper and could never get enough towels. Finally ended using kleenix for tp. We had to pick up the key after being told it would be in a lockbox. Left town at 8:00 am. After being told to drop the key where we picked it up, there was no one at the office so l called the number and left the keys under the mat. I blame expedia also for misrepresenting this property. The visit to the coast was enjoyable except for this nightmare. Obviously will not be back.

Really rundown uncomfortable space. Really short doorway and bathroom teensy with low ceiling my husband couldnt stand up in. Shower knobs barely worked so almost got burnt. No we will never stay there again.

Really simple and easy outing at the beach with a small rustic cabin facing the waves. It was a perfect place to stop for a road trip that gave us a unique and memorable time at the coast! The very small town was gorgeous! The nearby cafe was convenient and delicious! Definitely plan to stay again!

Such an awesome, small cozy and quaint cabin pretty much right on the beach!

T.v. would not work. Call to office went to a recording.... Never got a call back.... The place was very!!! Small.. Not worth the $200 plus a night. I will not stay there again. And will tell my friends about my stay.. I was very disappointed. I have stayed there years ago. Many many times. With kids and grandkids . It is to bad that someone is more iinterested in making money then taking care of their place...

Great little gem

Thank you for a great stay! We had a lot of fun and really enjoyed the stay. The view was great and the place was tidy. We will certainly be back.

If you are looking for peace and quiet this is your choice. The one local restaurant was good. Grocery shopping limited. No Wi-Fi.

We were given the cabin directly next to the cafe which came with blasting radio music at 8:10am from the kitchen through the wall right next to your head. Ridiculous to be woken up like that plus the cable tv worked a total of maybe 20 mins. We found out after talking to the cafe owner and asking them to turn the music down that this smaller cabin was built recently and is not up to building code and that the cafe has been opening at 6am for ten years he can’t help the noise! He said he had no idea why they attached a unit to his restaurant. Also leaking bathroom sink that leaked onto our bathroom bags. Beware of early noise and rude neighbors.

We were woken up at 8:10am to blasting radio music from the kitchen in the restaurant next door which is directly next to the head of the bed, our dog was shaking…it’s like having a personal radio alarm without asking for one quite early. Have now listened to music for 30 mins… Tv worked for maybe 20 mins total had to unplug the cable 5 times before giving up. Very poor experience. Will not be staying again unless we hear from management.

Great view, not very clean, run down, great fishing hole out front, oh wait that was a giant pothole, had a cool cat come visit us. Someones clothes were left in the dresser. Low ceilings, not for tall people.

The property was quite nice the biggest issue that we had was that the heater was stuck on one option and that was the surface of the sun. Check in was a breeze and overall we would come back again.

If comfort is a priority…..

Amazing location but beware. We and had beautiful views of the ocean all weekend. We were very excited to stay in the cabins with hopes to return for future visits. However, when we arrived the smell was so intense from the cleaning materials that we weren’t able to enjoy the space right away. We had to air the cabin out. After that it got very cold and we noticed that the heater didn’t work. Luckily they provided us with a tiny space heater that kept us from being miserable. The space heater was not efficient or large enough to keep the space warm with a window open to release the smell. We used the extra blanket provided but that was also saturated in fabric softener and unbearable to use. The bed and seating has lived its life and needs to be replaced. The bed is at least 20 years old. We were unable to sleep through the night comfortably.

It’ll do

It is a small cabin but fine if you are just looking for a place to sleep after exploring the beautiful Oregon coast. The reception was not super helpful but I suppose sufficient. Yeah my rating overall is sufficient on all accounts.

Very clean , super comfy bed, great view of the ocean. Only downside was the proprrty looks a bit run down on the outside, but very cute and clean inside

Pet Friendly - Great View!

We stayed only one night. Chose this place because of beach proximety, and pet friendly. The cabin looked a bit better in the pics (to be expected I guess) but we had an enjoyable time. Id call it "bare bones" but adequate. Nice people at check in and house keeper. We did have to wait about 30 min for it to finish being cleaned. Pricy for what it is, but I suppose its the location and view that warrents the cost.

We enjoyed the cozy convenience or our cabin, so near to the beach, the restaurants, and nearby scenic destinations. We were rather cold in the morning until we figured out that the only way to turn the wall heater on or off was by mean of the circuit breaker. Also, there's a leaking pipe somewhere at the north end of the kitchen, which kept the floor wet. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Oceanside ocean front cottages, the view was spectacular and it was a very short walk to the beach. We enjoyed the spaciousness of the cottage and the full kitchen that was included. We will return!

Great cabin but the beach front cabin had a road and a parking lot in between the cabin and the beach.

One cabin was previously an office. But with that being said we weren’t told that until after our stay. We had 2 other guest (separate times) walk in to our cabin without knocking looking for the office. We understand that renovations were just done, but signs of it saying office were not taken down. Our room was also attached to the restaurant, if we also would have been notified of that we most likely would’ve stayed elsewhere. Our room also was not the cleanest. But the location is amazing!

Located right on ocean makes up for anything else!

The place was good. We had to wait an hour for the cleaning lady to start and finish cleaning our room. Not happy about that.

Had a great stay. Love that it was pet friendly. This was my first trip with my dog. The place was perfect for us.

This turned out to be a terrible choice for us. It is not oceanfront since there is a street between the "cabin" and the water. And, it is really not a cabin. We took a look around and decided to leave the property immediately, Would warn others to stay away.

Not worth the stay

If you like to spend your night in the shed, you better book a cabin or yurt in the nearest state park and save your coins. One night on weekends in February did cost us the same price as a hotel on Seaside (way better quality hotel I would add). We arrived at 5 pm and the cabin was bone chill cold, the heater was turned off. It took 4 hours to get it somewhat comfortable. So bring your warmest pyjamas and wool socks, you will need them. The room was dated, but the bed was clean. The office is 7 min away, and they communicate by message (that's good and convenient). But if you need anything, you have no cell service at the cabins, and you cannot text so you have to drive up the hill for cell service if you are gonna call/text them.

The cabins are close to the coast.Within walking distance. Beautiful area of the coast.

Sorry not sorry

Dishes were dirty. Refridgerator was rusty. Only got local channels. No service and WIFI had terrible speed and connection. Bedroom with bed was way to small. I would not recommend. Sorry.

All in all everything was great! One small issue- smoke alarm in the cabin is missing from the ceiling

The controller for the heat in the cabin did not work so the heat was stuck on and too hot until we turned off the breaker. Nice view of the ocean but it is a long windy road to get to oceanside from Tillamook. There is no cell reception either. On the positive side, the beds were comfy and it was very quiet.

Cute but a pain.

Perfect location. Nice to have a kitchen. Cute place. Great price. Needs TLC bad. There is no one at the office so make sure you get a text or you will have to connect to their wifi and call them at another hotel to get a code for your key. Yea a pain.

The property was perfect, exactly what we needed,clean and comfortable. The view was fanatasic’ the location was perfect for us!

We expected shabby but dirty on top of fridge windows were dirty and dead bugs in the window seals we stopped looking at that point and called it an adventure!

Definitely paying for the location to the beach. It was great for what we wanted it for. Loved that the restaurant was right there AND the beach access is great!

Nice things were that you are really close to the beach, just a hop, skip, and a jump. The bed was not comfortable. The bathroom area was literally 3x5 feet. If you are very tall you will not fit! But the view is beautiful! Watching the ocean from the front room so to speak is a great way to enjoy your time also. The restaurant a couple of doors down is where we had breakfast and it was really, really good!

When we arrived we noticed the bedding was covered in black hairs, noticeable bits of dirt, and gritty to the touch on both beds. It looked as if a sandy fisherman and a dog slept in them to be honest, and then they were just made. My husband called the owner and she was apologetic and did send someone down to change them promptly. We would have had to go home if not because there was no way we could sleep in the beds in that condition. The floor looked unswept/ not vacuumed and the fridge was greasy, filled with crumbs, and smelled like fish. The towels were all stained and needed to be bleached. The view out the second bedroom was bags of garbage. The location of this hotel is excellent for beach access, it was quiet, and the owner was responsive. Unfortunately we won’t be staying here again though because our main expectation when we stay somewhere is at least a clean bed. Which is too bad because the location is excellent.

Quiet. Close to one of our favorite beaches. Comfortable accommodations. Bathroom is away from the bedroom. View of the ocean is lovely. Needs a tea kettle and more pillows.

We will never come back to this cabin or property. It was small, unclean, mattress felt like hammock, TV didn'twork. Also has a leaky roof... It's just scary...

Just a bit chilly

The heater on the wall didn’t work…so it was a little chilly. After a fashion the small space heater warmed the rooms. The heater in the bathroom was extremely hot so I wouldn’t want small children around it. The view is excellent and access to the beach was great.

The location was excellent, beach and ocean were right across the street. Communication and access were provided in timely manner. Notes regarding a possible charge for leaving unclean or wet dishes was unnecessary and insulting. Beds and pillows were too soft and uncomfortable. The property was clean and location was perfect!

The faucet in the kitchen sink constantly dripped. The P trap underneath the sink was not attached to the pipe coming down from the sink, so water poured onto the area under the sink. Once we figured out what was happening, a bowl to catch the water worked. The room could have been cleaner. That being said, the people around us were great, the location was excellent, it was quiet, and the town had lots to offer. There was no note about parking, and the sign that said reserved for Oceanside Cabins had been overgrown by healthy bushes. It's such a popular place, parking was an issue until after about 5P or before 8A. With all of that- we very much enjoyed our visit.

Needs remodeling and improvement of kitchen utensils hygiene.

Skip this place

Shower so bad i would not attempt to step in even with sandals on. No screen on bedroom window. Broken window frame in front door. Broken lock on window facing street. Rusted and missing knob on heater. Dripping kitchen faucet. Tv wouldn't work. Restaurant closed. I left and requested refund.

This property was great. The owner was great with communication and very willing to accommodate our needs. I loved that we were right on the beach with an ocean view. Would stay again.

The cabins were perfect and met all our needs. Best ocean view we've had for a long time. The beach was very accessible and easy to get to. We had never been to Oceanside but thought it was very quaint. The manager was very communicative,helpful and made sure we had anything we needed. Will stay here again.

Property host Joe is amazing. Really friendly and attentive. Clean, small cabins with amazing view right on the beach. Sleep listening to the waves.
