Very professional and friendly staff

Check-in and check-out process was very simple and easy. We used the laundry facility available and it was very simple and they had machine to purchase detergent and fabric softener. The machines took card and cash. We also booked with daily breakfast. The breakfast buffet had a decent mix of food and really liked the coffee. Rooms were clean and quiet. Another plus was in the entrance area there was a vending machine for amenities and currency exchange. Buses and subways were close. Plenty of places to eat nearby and best party was shopping was so close! I would stay again in the future.

Easy way to airport via limo bus which is 2 min walk from hotel . Line 2 and 5 is just nearby. Staff are very helpful. Room facilities are new and with practical use and sustainabiltiy in mind by the hotel. There are nearby malls as well

Convenient location just couple of minutes away from metro subway line 4 & 2. Airport Limousine stops in front of the hotel. Next to convenient store. Kind staff. Daily cleaning service. Reasonable room size. available washing machine. comfortable bed. Everything was perfect! I want to stay again when I come to Korea.

The hotel is very convenient. The only problem is there is no microwave in the room and you have to go down to the lobby to warm a food and you cannot even eat in the lobby. They should put microwave in the room so people don't need to go down and go up again in their room. Also they turn off the air con when the weather is cold. It's up to the guest if they want to turn down or turn off the air con.

Love the location of the hotel.. very near the train station. The vicinity is near food and shopping around dongdaemun. Hotel is very clean and well kept. Staff were very efficient and friendly. Will come back again!

This property is safe and quiet. PEople were friendly, and the breakfast was excellent. It is also close to several attractions.

Friendly and helpful staff. I had issues with buying detergent from their dispenser with my credit card and needed to break a big bill for the airbus, they had no problems breaking big notes. The hotel is only a few years old so it is very clean. Reception is on the third floor, very bright, spacious , and clean also. Coin laundry is a big plus. Close to all the attractions. Airbus stop is within 30 feet. Would stay here again.

Hip Hotel

Nice location to Dongdaemun and quiet hotel. There was a wierd gauze like sticky thing left on bed comforter which leads to it wasn’t washed. Hotel has trip to a market for anyone interested which was neat

Great location and room

A good hotel in a easy location. Staff were very helpful and room was small, but comfortable. Plenty of amenities and metro lines nearby, everything was walkable as well. A nice area to stay in if you want something quieter than the bigger tourist areas. Only downside was the lights from the air con screen, the alarm clock and the air con unit that were on all the time and would light up the room even when the power was off. For those of us who like a very dark room it was difficult to adjust to.

A nice hotel, located near the subway and there were plenty of markets and shops that were walking distance. I definitely appreciated the water refill stations on every floor. The only downside was I couldn't eat my snacks and instant noodles where the lounge/sitting area was.

Great stay at Nine Tree Dongdaemun - the hotel is well maintained, very clean, and centrally located! It's right in between two stops on Line 2 of the subway (easy 6-8min walk), but it's also close to Line 4 & 5 making it easy to get anywhere in the city. There's also an airport bus stop right by the entrance which made it super convenient going home. I didn't want a hotel in the busiest areas of Seoul, so this was perfect. Great location if you want to be close to Dongdaemun; so many places to shop in the area. The only thing lacking is the size of the room - not as spacious, but this wasn't a big deal for us, completely fine for two people. Lastly, we really liked having a laundry & locker room to store your luggage for up to 12 hours (much nicer than other hotels just leaving your stuff in the lobby area). Highly recommend and would definitely return in the future!

Even though the hotel was located on a busy street, it was very quiet. The staff was personable and courteous.

Like clean bed linen and location

Excellent location, excellent staff, good room size and very clean.

I really love my stay here while in Seoul. The staff was so friendly and accomodating, helped us to check our rooms earlier as we arrived the hotel before check in time. This was so great after a long hour flying with little sleep. We really appreciate it. Will totally come again!

Close to some attractions

Coin laundry access was convenient and share same floor as lobby. 24hr access to hot Americano and water. Luggage self storage for free and very convenient.

Very convenient with the airport bus is just 5min walk and around this area have a lot of shopping

This was my second time staying at this hotel and I have loved it both times. My room was clean and quiet, housekeeping was excellent, the location is great and there was always at least one English-speaking receptionist who were really helpful. There is an ice & water machine on each floor, laundry and microwave on the lounge floor, and a machine to buy and top up travel cards on the ground floor.

It is a great hotel for short stays.

Need parking lot

There was no parking lot, and I was confused because there was no introduction to a contracted parking lot nearby. You should operate or introduce a contracted parking lot nearby to provide convenience to customers. And it seems like you need to educate the staff to be a little more friendly.

The airport bus 6001 stops almost outside- so very easy to get to and from airport. Free storage locker for your cases on the day you leave or arrive. Walkable distance to subway. Many convenience stores on doorstep. Design plaza and the malls are all 5/10 minutes walk. Starbucks across the road

This hotel lives up to its reputation for being clean! It has a v. convenient 3rd floor laundry which was appreciated! The rooms are tight - no drawer space so living out of the suitcase is a must.

Very modern and clean. Great location as well. The only complaint is the complimentary breakfast. It was almost the same for the entire week with very basic selections(toast and some reheated frozen food-korean sausage, patty. Coffee machine was broken all the time so the staff had to use drip coffee pod.

All steps are very kind and nice. easy and convenience... I will do agagin next time

Good location and for a short family stay

Great location, only 5-10mins walk to DDP and local markets. Room was small but very clean. Had everything we needed. Our 5 year old loved sleeping in a bunk bed.

Hotel chain yes, location, no

Location is NOT ideal as far as where the action is (restaurants; groceries; shopping). It’s close to main road and easy to haul a cab; it’s one of the stops for Airport Bus( which we didn’t avail) the location is in the old city and inside industrial district( not good idea for first time visitors). To get to the train station to get to where the action is or anywhere for that matter, you’ll need to walk thru a long underground tunnel and passes many local vendors ( which was quite interesting). A good 15-25 minutes walk. The hotel itself is excellent! It provided everything to make our stay comfortable. Large capacity washer and dryer; coin locker luggage storage; weighing scale for check in luggage; kiosk check out. Breakfast room which has surcharge. Room size is ideal for 1-2 adults. We have 3 adults with check in luggage size and it was VERY CROWDED with 3 twin size bed. I do not recommend. Staff service is minimal. We asked for recommendations around the area for grocery shopping and the information we received from the front desk left nothing to be desired. However, I would like to give a huge shout out to the chambermaid. She was by far the most accommodating and nicest staff member in the whole experience. Will I stay here again? Not in this location but at this hotel chain, yes.

This is not a high end luxury hotel as the pictures might suggest, but it is a really good value hotel. Transportation is great, room is plain but very comfortable, restaurant at hotel is convenient. But best of all it is centrally located. Good stay on a budget.

One of the best places I ever stayed at!

The service was excellent and they took care of a medical cleanup issue that happened with my dad. They were understanding they cleaned the room. I recommend them to anyone that wants to have a great stay! They are very helpful with getting us to places and calling for us and reserving taxis. Also, they help me and my dad get a special handicap taxi, which was very helpful.

Very convenient location. Close to all sort of markets and restaurant. Walking distance to yellow tent night market as well. Very helpful and kind staffs. I came here for sightseeing and definitely come back when I travel for business in future.

Kind reception staff. Room was small but having the bunks made it bigger than picture, which was great (room for our suitcases). Would have been nice to have draws given for family but seems usual not to have any in the places we have stayed around Korea/Japan. Soft and comfy beds. Position is about 10 mins walk to the train (underground).

Clean, very comfortable bed and a great location. There is an airport limousine bus service right by the hotel too.

We stayed for 15 nights and enjoyed our stay the bed was comfortable, air conditioning was great and you can open the window if you prefer that option. The only negative is the room is small the bedside table in the twin room was tiny with little space to walk between the beds and hanging and storage is small if you are staying more than a few days. Location was fabulous you can get the metro right outside the hotel doors, there are 2 x CU and a GS25 convenience stores steps away from the hotel entrance and the airport shuttle drop off and pick up next door.

The place is too small for the 3 of us.Poor foods for breakfast. Not worth the price of the hotel. Every day same foods served for breakfast.

Very near to Dongdaemun. Can take bus from airport to hotel, the bus stop is in front of the hotel. A lot of restaurant nearby the hotel. Hotel is near and clean. Staffs are friendly.

One of the best hotels i’ve stayed at. Convenient location. Close to train stations and DDP. Front desk staff are very friendly and willing to assist in everything. Excellent housekeeping. They cleaned our room everyday and changed the towels and amenities daily. Highly recommended and will consider staying here again in the future.

We stayed here for a week. Location is really god as the subway station isn't too far from here. My only issue is were stayed for seven nights and paid for breakfast and it was the same every single day. Some variety would have appreciated and if we had known we wouldn't have paid extra for it.

The room is too small and the breakfast is not very tasty.

Amazing stay in Dongdaemun. Hotel is close to local subway station and shopping. The rooms are nice and clean, though on the small side - which is typical for Seoul.

The hotel is at the perfect location. Literally steps away from the entrance to the underground mall that leads to the train station. You can have access to line 2 and line 5. Underground mall pathway will lead you to DDP, lots of food options at the BC card place, gwangjang Market etc. there is a CU right next to the hotel for any quick needs, currency exchange. Best part is that airport bus 6001 is right in front of the door. You can shop until late and not have to worry about walking back to the hotel. There is Hello APM, DOOTA, all within walking distance. Line 2 is a very convenient line that will lead you directly to Hongdae, women’s university, and many popular places along the way. If you walk the other side you will reach line 5 that can take you to MyeongDong. very clean and quiet hotel. Front desk can speak English. There is breakfast option at the hotel if you prefer. Would stay here again.

Nice new hotel, but overrated

This hotel is a nice and new high rise property. However it is quite a walk from the closest subway and restaurants - 10 minutes

We had an amazing stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel’s location was very convenient, not too close to the subway station but not too far either.

12 hours self-locker to leave your baggages for free after checking out and easy to get on airport bus 6001, food on the right two blocks around Dongdaemun intersection.. overall great !!

Comfortable stay

This hotel was very clean and comfortable the staff were all so friendly and helped us so much with anything we needed. The location was perfect because the airport bus stops right in front of the hotel and this is great to get to and from the Incheon airport. Also the staff was able to get us taxi or we could walk close by to the train station. We would definitely return and recommend this hotel

Nice place but tight fit.

Place was really clean. Bathroom was clean and modern. The room was quite small for two people and luggage. Nice place for a solo traveler as there is also only one chair. Overall great place but too small for comfort for me and my wife. I’m not a huge man, just under 6’. The location was also great. Close to subway entrances, lots of food options nearby, close enough to walk to some nice places if you’re up for a little stroll.

Front people are so kind and helpful. Also the hotel is quiet and clean.

Airport bus 6001 stop right in front of the hotel. 👍 Hotel is relatively new compare with others nearby. 👍 Fast check out, make your life easier! 👍 Unlike, too far to walk from the DOngdaemum wholesale markets, takes almost 25mins. Unlike, outside the road have car noise during evening sleeping time. Unlike, without coffee cafe in the building.

There were 3 of us on this trip and the hotel had a room with 3 single beds in it, which did not feel cramped. There is a long underground walkway nearby which will take you direct to the Heritage metro station where you can go wherever (changing lines when needing too). Plenty of food options nearby. Self-checkout was easy just insert your room key into the machine and done. Asked for more pillow and towels and delivered promptly, definitely recommend.

Nine Tree chain is very nice

The Nine Tree chain in Seoul features hotels that typically are under 5 years old. My favorite is the Insadong location. This location in Dongdaemun has smaller rooms, simple furnishings, but is good value for the $125 I paid for a weekend night.

This hotel is so convenient! From the location, to the cleanliness, to the amenities. Will definitely go back here again

Need to pay for Extra duvet

My husband was sick on the second day. So I requested to have an extra duvet. Surprisingly I need to pay extra cost for the duvet. The location is close to euljiro 4 subway station but we had to walk 10 mins to the restaurants. There is a cafe on the ground floor and convenient store within 1 mins walk. If u want to get food like bakery u need to walk quite far. Hotel itself is quite new and provides free coffee and tea on 3/f. I would recommend those who need laundry and locker service.

Good location and good staff.

Small rooms, but very clean, modern and comfortable. The walk in shower with a rain shower head is fabulous. Reception staff speaks English and is very helpful.

Very convenient place for dining and shopping.

The ease of connections to various public transportations was good, however, there were no restaurants nor a small cafe; the need to go outside everytime to dine or grab a snack was a slight inconvenience.

The property is very clean, the staff were very helpful. I also appreciate the fact that the airport bus has a stop right in front of the hotel - so convenient to go from and to the Incheon international airport!
