Great find in Vienna!

We had a great stay and a perfect hotel, right in the center of everything! Totally recommend the location. Staff was very accommodating and informative!

We stayed at this hotel in Sept 2024. Location was really good access to underground fantastic. I was concerned at safety as we often came back to the hotel or left the hotel and there was no one on reception but the lift directly behind reception is accessible by everyone you didn't need to use your room card which most hotels have these days. On our arrival late we witnessed ourselves a homeless person came to the desk and wanted the sweets from the jar on reception. It also wasn't the quietest of hotels in terms of between rooms we had a number of disrupted nights because of either rooms next to or above. All in all disappointing but the city is breathtaking

Great location huge rooms

For city center hotel the rooms are huge they felt like a suite in most hotels. Big desk to work on full living room and even an amazin balcony. The hotel is in district 7 which is probably the most accesable district to center of Vieena 2 stops on orange line and even walkalbe if you like. Also I think 7th district is one of the best nieghboorhoods in Vienna in terms of shopping dinning nightlife much better than center

Great hotel in a excellent location. Right in the middle of Mariahilfer shopping and dining area with easy access to public transport and within walking distance to Inner Stadt where a lot of the museums & palaces are. The service was amazing and the room was comfortable for a our family of three. Price was amazing too! Only complaints were the bed was rock hard and the bathtub had and awkward design where the tub door interfered with the bathroom door. Also very tall bathtub that could be dangerous for children/elderly. Overall, would definitely stay again.

Location and the staff are the best about this hotel. Staff are very polite and professional. We felt at home and safe. Rooms are pretty big despite its located in europe. I left my apple watch and they reached out to me via email ASAP. They reply promptly to my emails. Shopping, restaurants and public transportation is just right outside the hotel. My family and I enjoyed our stay. We’ll definitely recommend to others.

Great location on central street close to Museums. Subway station just across the street, well connected to the train station and the airport train (CAT). Friendly staff and superb breakfast!

Great property - the rooms were amazing for the price! Didn't realise when we booked it was right off the main shopping street - but it didn't impact the stay and none of the noise carried!

Wonderful stay, beautiful & spacious room, really nice and comfy and perfect location on one of the most famous streets in Vienna!

It was fine, overall, but the TV channels didn't work, the A/C wasn't working, and I had to ask for the cleaners to clean the room. Also, the breakfast room is sub-par.

5* für die grossartige Lage, U-bahn Station zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten direkt daneben, aber da hörts leider auch auf. Check-in lief sehr speditiv und unkompliziert. Gang zum Lift war etwas verwirrend, da die abgenutzten Wände, haufenweise Holz Paletten und kapputte flackernde Lichter eher an einen Gang fürs Personal vermuten liess.Zimmer war dann aber geräumig und bot viel Platz. Leider haben Ameisen dieselbe Erfahrung gemacht da sie uns jeden Tag im Bad begrüssten. Hotel Staff war nicht unfreundlich, aber eine Gastronomische Herzlichkeit wie sie in vielen Teilen der Welt gelebt wird war schlichtwrg inexistent. Oder gehört das doch zum Wiener "Flair" da diese Erfahrung in praktisch jedem Etaiblissment gemacht wurde?!

Great location, dirty room.

1. The room we got had dirty walls and spiders coming out of the ceiling. Even after room cleaning service the toilet wasn't cleaned and there were spider webs on the ceiling. 2. Room cleaning service missed our room one day. 3. We asked for late check out (an extra 1 hour) and we were told no problem, but when we came to the room to get checked out they locked our key to the room (forgot that we asked late check out) and asked for extra payment for late check out even though they didn't say anything about extra cost when we asked for the late check out. 4. Breakfast was good but nothing you won't get at any other 4-5 star hotel, service at breakfast was good. 5. Location was the only feature of the hotel that was really great, possibly best Location in vienna.

Property location was great - in the middle of the city so very convenient. However, the property is on the older side and a bit run down. A/C wasn’t super strong so you might have issues during peak summer time (when we stayed). The hot water also suddenly went out one morning while we were showering. Someone from the maintenance team came & checked but was not able to figure it out. Ended up showering in an un-used room. Overall, wasn’t terrible but was not super positive either.

Great stay in a great hotel

The room is amazing and the hotel is in a good central place. The stuff were very kind to us. The downside was the light the was coming through the window after sunrise.

Great area

I want to give special recognition to a young man, I believe by the name of Peter, blond hair with glasses. Who was EXCEPTIONALLY helpful and kind during my stay at this hotel. Not only was he attentive, but very helpful! This hotel is perfectly situated on a pedestrian street filled with shops and close to buses and other modes of transportation. In front is a McDonald’s and a grocery store, I mean you really can’t go wrong with that. The rooms are large and spacious, very clean, and uncluttered. The bed and the pillows were incredibly comfortable as well, I slept like an empress (no pun intended). Shower had great pressure and it was modern, aka I did not have to climb in lol Highly recommend this hotel!

Nice place with breakfast elevator traffic

The staff were rude on check in. The actual check in took a long time and the rooms weren’t ready. When we asked if we could use a toilet after travelling they said no.. I’m actual fact they don’t have a properly reception area. We asked for our room to be cleaned one day and it wasn’t, the sheets weren’t even changed and they forgot towels. The air con wasn’t working and blowing out hot dusty air. Overall I don’t see how this is a 4 star hotel, it was terrible. The only good thing it’s got going for it was it’s location.

Location is just great! In the middle of Mariahilfer and 10 steps from a U3 station where you can take a direct 5 min train to the Stephansplatz. Very clean, always smells good, the room was modern and pretty large, the guys in the reception were super nice and helpful!

The place’s condition is really nice. You get a free drink if you do not seek housekeeping service. The staff was very attentive to requests. The hotel is located on a busy shopping street. Depending on your preference that may good or bad. However, there are many shopping and dining options around, if you do not feel like going downtown. There is a metro station right next to the hotel, which makes it easy to travel to different parts of the city within minutes. Overall, for a person who is visiting Vienna for a few days and wants to explore the city, this place is a perfect solution as a stay. Great value for money, for sure.

Excellent but can be perfect

The hotel is in a great location and the service of the staff is excellent. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are large. There is one problem with the hotel and it is very important and that is that the curtains in the room are not enough and there is light in the room when the sun goes out

Staff was very helpful and efficient. We arrived ~ 10 am after an overnight flight from US. Our room was not quite ready but we were allowed to check in 45 minutes later! Also, my initial reservation was for 3 people but 1 could not travel at last minute. Since I booked & prepaid through Expedia , hotel could not adjust my rate accordingly. However, they did "comp" us the breakfast- which was excellent! Also, location, location, location! This location is great for shopping, dining and catching the U.

Clean and modern hotel in perfect location

Great location for a wonderful hotel

Our premium room was very spacious, new, clean, and quiet, except for an occasional short disturbing thump sound when the AC turned itself off (I'm a light sleeper so it woke me up sometimes). The hotel is very close (10 seconds walk) to the U3 station, so it was very easy to get from the hotel to anywhere in the city. The service was very charming - They printed our covid test results and ordered us a taxi to the airport when we checked out. The breakfast selection is very wide and good, although I find it a bit overpriced (we didn't book it in advance, and adding it during our stay in one of the days cost 24 Euro pp).

I like the location and friendly of the staff, assisting with any requirement and recommendation I didn't like the fact that most of the staff not wearing masks during their work, although it is written that while entering the lift each one must wearing a mask .

It was a very nice stay. Cosy hotel with NH manners. Nice staff and location even it seems small it is very well organise. Whatever issue appear staff is here to help. Breakfast is OK with own approach. I am not big fan of breakfasts but it was really fine. It seems hotel is aware of any kind of guest appears nowadays and try it best to run the business in a proper Vienna school's manner :-), that I liked a lot. Maybe the cookies and water should move a bit further that receprion. I hope I will come again.

Friendly staff. Room is pretty spacious and clean. One downside that would highly recommend the hotel to improve is that the shower area does not come with a little deck or area to hold shower bottles which is quite inconvenient because you have to leave the bottles on the floor and pick it up every time you need them. Style of the Room is very minimalistic.

A jewel! Hands down, the best hotel of its type in Vienna. Freshly renovated with an open and airy modern style, the NH Zentrum Is ideally located just off the U3 on Mariahilferstrasse. An excellent, energetic vibe is available the moment you step out the hotel. The Hotel itself had large, spacious rooms that invite you to spread out and enjoy some time away from the bustle of the city. Comfortable living room area with sofa and chairs, small beverage preparation station (with complementary coffee and tea) are perfectly suited for times when you are getting ready to go take in the sights or are coming back and need a breather. Given the hotel’s proximity to the U3, you can be anywhere in the city within a half hour. I come to Vienna often and I have not ever found a better or more comfortable place to stay.

Modern rooms, good location - but no social space

Large clean rooms with modern if clinical decor. Bed relatively uncomfortable (hard). Friendly front desk. On a busy but pedestrianised shopping street right by a metro station (U3 line). Main downside is the hotel seemed to have no shared facilities at all. Just the small lobby. So once back at the hotel, you're stuck in your room - with waist-high windows and no balconies. No lounge or patio - or anywhere to sit other than by the front door. This made it feel like a budget hotel with overly large rooms. Didn't try breakfast. Room was locked when not serving.

Ok for a short stay

The rooms are clean, but very small. We could barely get the refrigerator door open because the bed was in front of it. Other than that, nice breakfast and ok for a short stay. Desk staff was a bit rude at first, arguing with me that I had only requested one bed, when I told her repeatedly that I had emailed and called about getting two beds. I even showed her my email from the hotel confirming two beds.

The location of the hotel is fantastic—very walkable—right on Mariahilferstrasse, a lovely shopping street, and there is a subway station right outside the door. The room was spacious and clean, though there is a bit of visible wear and tear throughout the hotel. The front desk guys were all very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was expensive but very good, although the waiter in the breakfast room ignored us almost completely for some reason. Overall, though, I would highly recommend this hotel.

The Gentleman working/serving in the Breakfast Room was Outstanding. Wish I had gotten his name however he was there every morning from May 3 thru 5.

Overall, very nice room, great location and friendly staff. The hotel is steps from the metro U3 (as long as you leave from the correct side of the station). My only concern was the cleanliness upon arrival. There seemed to be a lot of long black hairs over the bathroom floor and certain places in the room. It sorta creeped me out at first, so I used my travel Lysol wipes to clean the bathroom, then I felt better. Otherwise great hotel and will likely stay there again. I love the NH brand, so I’m not going to let this change my opinion, it was likely a isolated Occurrence. Would recommend this hotel.

Location is great. But the reception area (lobby) is tiny; the roof top terrace should be open at night. The air condition in our room did not work so it was hot and uncomfortable; luckily it was cool outside so we slept with our windows opened.... it was still hot.

Recommended for stay in Viena while good weather

excellent location, excellent room dimensions, garage easily available ………...but the bed sheets were changed only in the last day of a 5 days sejour, and the room temperature cannot be adjusted from the room and it is quite cold in the room if outside is not warm weather.

The welcome from the staff upon arrival was excellent, particularly Rais, Katarina & Dorothea on reception, who couldn’t do enough for us. The location of the hotel was very good for visiting local attractions and had loads of great places to eat just outside. The room itself was comfortable, modern and fully functional. Good quality toiletries and amazing shower. Overall, great hotel and highly recommended.

Excellent place to stay for a mini break

This was a great hotel to stay in for the location in Vienna. A 5 minute walk to the museum quarter, and 10 minutes to the very heart of the city. The hotel is very modern and stylish and the room was huge and very well equipped. Breakfast is on the 7th floor which gives you great views over the city, and a lovely place to sit if the weather is warm. Breakfast was excellent, with a huge amount of choice, something for everyone.

Love this place so convenient to everything and parking is just downstairs under the hotel straight elevator going up. Bed is comfortable and modern design room. This is by far one of the most positive surprise to my trip.

Best location, very nice staff, great breakfast. The only things that were not great are the cleanness of the windows - although we were facing the street, during the day we could not see any view since it was covered with dirt. 2nd thing is the gym - I expected something a bit more than just two walking machines, and was disappointed, it was one of the reasons I booked this hotel. Overall it was a very pleasant stay!

Great location

Really good location, just outside the hotel, there is underground train stop on U3 line called Zieglergasse, which is 4 stops from Stephansplatz right in the heart of Vienna. Staff were extremely welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect stay!

The hotel is in great location with easy access to attractions. Modern and comfortable , open concept large studio with dividing wall in center with swing TV is fantastic future.

Misunderstanding about whether breakfast was included. Manager offered a slight discount on the $$$ breakfast but we did not partake. Otherwise, friendly helpful staff.

Clean, Quiet & Relaxing

Wonderful property, very clean, quiet & relaxing. I would absolutely come back here again. I loved that the room had everything I needed. Complete w/ beverages, robes, snacks, etc. The swivel tv btwn the living room and bedroom was a really cool addition as well.

We stayed 6 days over there. They can't offer the twin bed room for us as we booked in the first day, but they can able to make the changes on next day. Over all this is great hotel and metro entrance is just in front of the hotel main door.

Well located hotel on main shopping street in pedestrian area. Friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfasts served in top floor breakfast room or on adjoining rooftop terrace. Bedrooms very clean and comfortable. It would have been nice too have another cupboard for clothes storage. Definitely recommend.

Conveniently located. Close to subway, trams and buses. Shopping, cafes, ice cream, bakeries, restaurants are just steps away. We will definitely come back. The staff is welcoming and extremely helpful. We loved our room.

Very noisy, freezing cold rooms, staff...

Great location, great breakfast but the rooms are so noisy I couldn’t sleep. Also they are very cold even with heater on. Sink was leeking and staff at the reception could been way more helpful.

Everything about this hotel is positive. The staff is great, even taking our luggage up to the room begore we checked in. They very freely upgrade you and you have the feeling of personal service and attention thst you receive in a deluxe five star jotel. The location is great for walking to any place in the center of Vienna. A great place without the high cost associated with such a location.

Great hotel and location.

Reception staff very helpful, room very clean and spacious. We found the beds extremely comfortable especially after a long day sightseeing. Shower really easy to control, no guessing which way to turn for temperature control! we have stayed in NH hotels before and would recommend as standards of room and service are consistently high. The hotel is 20 minute walk to the centre.

The hotel was very clean' rooms wewre big, beautifully arranged and aquiped. The staff was very kind, polite, always willing to help. Breakfast was wonderful, tasty, clean. The kitchen staf was extraordinary. Just a wonderful experience. We loved the Hotel and recommend it.
