excellent location, clean, tidy. Poor sofa comfort, and no cleaning included, which should be offered for weekly stays, concierge would be helpful as well.

Great apartment! Very comfortable!

Great property and great location not far from the Rambles. The team were great with communication and were quick to resolve a couple of questions i had. The booking and checking in process was very easy. The room we had was excellent, two large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. All nice and clean and the beds were very comfy. Kitchen was well equipped with appliances if you fancy cooking, we ate out so didnt use this. Iron and Ironing boards and safe also present. The only challnge i had was finding the property using the map function from Expedia, but it was easy to resolve by putting the hotel address in to Google maps.

I gave a final 5 score for the decent area location walking distance to interesting sites restaurants shops transport mini markets etc, easy self check-in, Mustafa’s assistance with fixing minor issues at the unit and helping out with immediate needs (Thank you!). Gate, door codes, lockers were easy access very helpful esp for early arrivals.However some 4 stars for not having kitchen appliances how to use instructions, some don’t work or outdated shld be replaced like toaster, no microwave, need more bath towels, no lotion in bathrooms, need more pillows, need a friendly english speaker at front desk and no 24hrs availability when calling from front desk. Anyway we enjoyed the comfortable stay at Murmuri despite all the “other needs” to make stay ready for come back.

Nice place. Great for a family. I would highly recommend because the area is so nice. Only downside is you have to get rid of your trash down the street into a bin. Also, our room had no shampoo, only hand soap. Not a game breaker, but inconvenient. Otherwise, the place is worth considering.

Alright overall, but wouldn't stay again

Located in a quiet local neighborhood and close to the metro and bus linea. Self check-in was easy, except I received two different check-in instructions which caused a bit of confusion. The receptionist was only available for a few hours in the morning. The hotel was dusty and one of the bathrooms was out of shampoo. We also didn't know we have to take out the trash on the day of checkout (no mention it on Hotels.com)

This property was amazing! Great location and the apartment was so modern and clean. While there was always someone at front desk, the door was locked and they kept in touch via WhatsApp. So friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. We can’t wait to come back!

FALSE ADVERTISEMENT, PROMISES ONE THING AND DELIVERS SOMETHING ELSE

I gave an overall rating of 4 because, all things considered, I am pleased with our stay. However, things did not begin well when, after reserving, I was told I would be staying at the ‘Concepcío’ property instead, though I believe no related info was presented during the reservation process. I consider this a ‘bait and switch’ approach, and I am sad to say that neither Expedia nor Murmuri would take ownership of this apparent deception. In fact, one of the two ‘live’ Murmuri employees with whom I spoke said, as I understand it, that there are only 2 rental apartments at Murmuri, the building advertised in the listing. But on-site, the biggest downside to the property is that, except for limited daytime hours, the ‘reception’ function is performed entirely remote; the human beings responsible are available only by phone (intermittent pickup; automated greeting in Spanish apparently) or by internal phone within the lobby. My wife and I arrived at 10PM on a dark street, unable at first to reach reception by phone, and with no entry code having been provided. When we did connect, audio quality was inadequate to get things taken care of without great frustration and fear that we would be left on the street. The apartment is okay, but the hassles are daunting.

The property is in fantastic location, just few minutes walk to metro station, coffee shop, dining and attractions (Casa Milla, Casa Batllo, Casa Vicents). We got an upgrade to 2 bedroom apartment which was much needed and appreciated after a long flight. The apartment is spacious and had everything that we look for. Highly recommended.

A great central location. Apartment is a good size for families. A few funky things in the bathrooms but a beautiful place to stay for a week or more.

Communication was confusing- information about the Mercader location differed from Concepcio one.I was told i might have early check-in but the computer check-in device had no record of that, so had to wait until 3 pm anyway.

Fantastic apartment in an incredible location. Huge with everything you needed for a very comfortable stay. There were a few issues in the back deck area. Many slats of wood were broken and if you walked over them your foot would go through which was dangerous to say the least. The apartment was a little dated and could use a little freshening up but as I stated before it really was a well thought out massive space to enjoy Barcelona.

Clean, spacious and extremely well-equipped.

From check-in to check-out, our experience was wonderful. The lady in reception very kindly upgraded us, which was a nice surprise. The apartment had everything we needed and was clean, bright and spacious. Will definitely return when we visit Barcelona again.

We booked Murmuri Residence Mercader where we had stayed before and were put in a separate property called GREC. This place was filthy dirty, tired and not as it should be or advertised. All members of our family staying were bitten by insects and mites in the property. We should be given a full refund having complained at the location together with compensation for the bites and distress caused. I do have photos to demonstrate and verify the comments above. Never again!!!!

Great location, super quiet, great for families

This is the ideal place to stay in central Barcelona for a family of 4 or more. The location is perfect -- near Passeig de Gracia and a modest walk to all of the central Barcelona sights like Las Ramblas, Gothic Quarter, El Born, etc. -- but it is on a quiet and quaint side street that is silent at night. Good value and much better for families because it's like a nicely appointed air b n b style apartment but inside a full building of hotel/apartment style rental units. We will definitely stay here again.

Loved our stay in the penthouse apartment at Murmuri Residence Concepció on Passatge de la Concepció- As others have noted check in is at another location, however it’s only a 4min walk away and the porter kindly took my suitcase and walked to the location and showed us up to the apartment, which was beautifully presented and clean. I had concerns having read other reviews about the condition of accommodation, but I needn’t have worried, it was just as photographs, pretty and clean, plenty of towels and slippers complimentary, located on a leafy street, the perfect location for exploring the surroundings. If you are thinking about a few days here, try get the penthouse apartment and enjoy :)

Go somewhere else

Molds, fridge not working, freezer leaking, curtains ripped, bathroom with no amenities (shampoo, gel shower, conditioner) hairdryer old and accessories broken, patio door doesn’t lock. No human for checkin (done via a machine). No escort for transfer between buildings.

the property is virtually without personnel. A chinese woman at the gate that does not speak Spanish or English. More over: we got stuck inside on our way out: the electric door was blocked and NO PERSONNEL on site. We had to climb the gate with our luggage in order to not miss a flight

Apartment hotel in the best neighbourhood

Hotel is perfect for a long/short stay in the best part of Barcelona with spacious and well designed apartments.

Lovely big modern apartment in a pretty side street. Close to restaurants, bars, shops… all at your door step. Communication bit difficult if you can’t speak Spanish (luckily we got some basic..) I don’t believe in daily housekeeping but we stayed for 8nights and our apartment was cleaned only 1x and I had to ask for it at the reception. But otherwise lovely place to stay in Barcelona.

When we returned, the bathroom had some hair in the shower stall and the shower drain was not draining properly. Also the floor in the kitchen has some loose runners coming off and the tablecloth was not perfectly clean

We arrived at the property by taxi for easy access but we had to walk 5 minutes to another property for checking in. Hotel would not keep our luggage after check out, because they are afraid that the customer would not come back to get it. I travel frequently and I never thought i would face to this type of problems. They don't clean room daily. Nespresso coffee machine was there without a coffee so we asked if we can purchase from the hotel, the answer was 'No , we have to go to supermarket to buy them.' Staff is not friendly, we didn't feel welcomed at all.

Excellent stay

We enjoyed the stay at the apartment. It had many of the great conveniences and excellent location with nearby shops, markets and restaurants. The only hiccup was trying to figure out appliances as there were no manuals or instructions but thanks to Google search I located copies. The staff was outstanding. Thanks Roberto!

Primarily, Passatge de Mercader is a gorgeous street. Beautiful buildings, no car traffic, quiet, and in the middle of everything. The street is lined with orange trees full of fruit. The apartment was the perfect size for a family of four, and the terrace, which was enormous, was a perfect place to hangout when we weren’t out.

They mis-advertised a 2 bedrooms for a small studio. Plus from 9 months ago when I booked the 2 different units and asked them to be next together because of my children, they did not reply back till a week before our arrival that these two units are completely in 2 different floors, by then I could not have done anything because it was too late.

Spotty WiFi

Had to wait 30min for the receptionist to get back from running errands prior to check in and the WiFi was not consistent. I had to call down to have them reset the modem 3-4x per day. Other than those to complaints the apartment was very clean an comfortable.

A Hidden Gem

Quite neighborhood in close proximity to restaurants/shops/sights. Very modern building with gated access and nice balconies overlooking quaint little street. Also has a huge terrace on the top floor with views in every direction and an abundance of seating! Perfect if you're looking for apartment style living in the all enchanting Eixample District.

Loved our stay....must have been brand new....apartment was immaculate!!! All four of us were like "how did we luck in to this find"! 2 bedroom & the bathroom was awesome!!

Good situation close to the centre

Very nice apartment, clean stylish, big but not perfect. May be petty but things like the coffee machine, no capsules provided, the machine appeared unused, you have the option of buying them from reception or local shop. For close to £250 a night I'd expect coffee and tea thrown in. The advert for the apartments makes it look like you get a balcony, confirmation email on booking had the same balcony picture. On arrival no balcony, the guy at reception appeared uninterested when I raised this point. Very nice apartment non the less but for the money I think next time I'll look elsewhere.

Perfect Accommodations in Barcelona!

This was our favorite hotel while traveling in Spain for 10 days in 4 different locations. The staff was lovely and very helpful with all aspects of our stay. We received maps, transportation tips, and sightseeing suggestions. The location is perfectly nestled on a quiet street near shopping, restaurants, metro lines and attractions. We were able to walk for meals, groceries and shopping, and then jumped the Metro to visit specific attractions. The rooms were impeccably clean and the modern decor was sleek yet comfortable. We plan to return to Barcelona and will definitely stay again!

Clean and very nice ambience hotel

The front desk guests were very nice and helpful. One thing we noticed was the cleaning service wasn't on top notch. The floors were not cleaned and the used towels were not collected. Still overall great hotel
