Beautiful place to stay

Lovely apartment near the train station and about 25 minutes walk to the centre . Good communication from the owner before our arrival and warm welcome when we arrived. The room was very clean and comfortable. Lovely choice of breakfast items in the fridge and fresh bread , pastries and fruit brought to us in the morning . Highly recommended ! Thanks !

Wonderful time in Brussels!

Thank you Artur for looking after us, for all the information, food and water in the fridge, bread and fruit every morning and luggage storage! We had a wonderful time in Brussels.

This was a perfect stay close to train station (5 min walk), clean spacious room, property manager greeted us and explained how to use everything. Washer/dryer very convenient. Candy bowl at entry was a nice special touch Beds super comfortable. Nice location very walkable. Electric bikes for rent nearby and I highly recommend them for getting around. They were super fun and easy to ride. I would most definitely stay here again. Breakfast was delivered to the room and was very good with many choices. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Artur (owner) 10/10 the location and area 0/10. Artur was a delightful person. Let us arrive early, gave us plenty of breakfast food in the fridge and fresh rolls each morning. Lovely. The area/location was sadly horrible though. Very unsafe, drunks on the doorstep at lunchtime, bodega next door had people arguing through the night, human excrement on the street, really dirty area.

Unique propeerty with cooking facilities. Artur the host was very helpful in showing us everything in the room. The refrigerator was stocked daily with breakfast items. we had the room at the top which was up four flights of stairs.

Perfectly located five minutes from the Brussels Midi train station, and 25 minutes to the city centre, everything you need is close by and accessible. The hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating; we could not have asked for a better stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the Midi Residence. It is very convenient for traveling through the Brussels Midi Train station, as it is a 5-minute walk from there. The room is very spacious, comfortable, and clean. The provided food for breakfast in your room is amazing and extremely tasty and filling. Artur was very good in explaining all of the details of the room and was a good communicator. The neighborhood is typical of areas around train stations, not dangerous but not glamorous either. Overall, we thought this was a great value for the money and excellent for our place to stay before catching an early train from the Midi station.

It was perfect except for the lack of an elevator. I didn’t expect to go up 3 flights of stairs. I also didn’t expect that breakfast included meant there would be food in the fridge ready to prepare yourself. But overall it was still a good stay.

Good location to the train station, but remember wildlife will be present. Grocery store close. Provided food and drink was more than expected for 2 people, excellent. One must remember as indicated in reviews you may have to climb stairs. Laundry was very convenient. For us the experience was positive.

Very close to the Midi station and rail Metro. Plenty of space in room. Great that our breakfast was provided with fresh bread and fruit each day as well as a continuous stock of eggs, ham, coffee, milk, etc. Didnt like having to carry heavy suitcases up/down 2 flights of stairs. Could have had more counter space in bathroom. An iron/ironing board would have been useful as well.

The apartment was clean and satisfied our needs. The breakfast was ok. The neighbourhood could be threatening. It was a fair distance from the European Quarter and the Grand Place on foot.

This place has no receptionist, no doorman, no elevator. And breakfast is served in a plastic container left at your door room. No one even checked my ID!!! Keys were handed by the cleaning lady Don t recomend at all.

Love this apartment in Brussels!

Such a great place! Convenient location, although a bit dodgy by virtue of the proximity of the train station across the street. Artur arrived to give us our key, and provided us with nice welcome candy and clear instructions for the coffee maker, etc. Abundant breakfast and fresh bread brought to us each day. My daughter and I are so thrilled with this place. Thank you, Residence-Midi! :)

Clean, comfortable, efficient and great hospitality once again !

Fantastic place to stay if traveling by train!

Fantastic location if you're traveling by train. The apartment itself is perfect. Wouldn't mind staying here long term. The owner is fantastic and takes care of things without being overbearing. Highly recommend staying here. The neighborhood by the train isn't the 5 star place to live, but you'd expect that right by a train station, and it never felt unsafe.

Arturo was very friendly and helpful concerning the rooms amenities and Brussels. He went the extra mile and brought us breakfast in the morning.

Perfect For Me

This is exactly what I was expecting when looking for a place to stay. I was very pleased with everything and I will most definitely stay there again on my trip to Brussels.

I would definitely stay here again. The room was spacious, clean and the fridge stocked with food every day. Also very close to the train station.

The accommodations were quite good. Interesting twist on B&B, they provide you prepare.The refrigerator is stocked for breakfast daily so you can prepare what you want when you want it. I asked for an ice cube tray for the freezer so I could have ice water when I wanted it. I was provided with a bag of ice that lasted all week.

The host was amazing. The location of the Midi was a few steps from Gare Midi, so was exactly what we needed the night before heading to the airport.

Nice apart-hotel. Close to Zuidstaation.

The hotel is not really a hotel. It’s more like an apart hotel. With no frontdesk, you cannot just walk-in and expect someone to be there. So keep in mind when you book, esp if you want to leave your bags and go around after checkout. The hotel is a stone’s throw from the BXL Midi station, so be ready to be in company of harmless groups of men lurking around. BXL is dirty, this street is too. So if you want to stay in a nice neighborhood, this is not it. The check in was very friendly, The manager showed me everything, I was given the lower basement room. Wasn’t very happy because I like some view and natural light. The room had everything you want. You get excellent quality breakfast! Trust me the cheese, meet, eggs, milk, bread, confiture, coffee are of great quality. You just have to make it :) probably won’t have time to do it if you are on a quick trip. My phones could not connect to the wifi, the manager said I need to fix my phone settings for iphones. So, remember buy a new phone if you want wifi or just use your data. The TV has Netflix and local channels. The cleaning lady took away my toothbrush, toothpaste and other items thinking they were from a previous guest :) I could not get hold of her because there is no frontdesk. Overall the stay was good...but probably will not stay here again.

Good standards but making in warmth

Very spacious and clean too. Very good Wi-Fi. Very close to midi train station. What was a bit unexpected was that there is no reception. You are asked at around what time you will be turning up and someone waits for you to give you the keys. No breakfast room either, breakfast is to be taken in the room (with kitchen). The fridge is very nicely stocked up and bread is delivered at your door in the morning. Nice kitchen but not much to cook with (only one pan) and utensils. There is no lift. I only stayed one night and thought the standard was high (cleanliness & comfort) but thought it lacked friendliness and warmth. Personally i like there being a reception and breakfast room. I felt i was completely on my own there.

Great place to stay in Brussels

Arthur was amazing and the apartment was a perfect blend of modern and homey. There is a great spread of food in the fridge and freshly baked bread left in the morning. The apartment is only a short walk awat from the bus station and seems like a good area. I couldn't have asked for a better stay.

Great location, wonderful service, clean apartment

Location is exceptional, within minutes from Brussels-Midi Station as well as Gare Du Midi Tram station and Metro station. The apartment is spacious, very clean and well-equipped. Staff (Mr Arthur) is friendly and helpful. The refrigerator is well-stocked with cheese, yoghurt, eggs, ham and different types of jam. Freshly baked bread is also provided every morning. However, for travellers with bulky luggage, do note that there is no lift and the stairway is narrow. As the washing machine is communal & located at the basement, timing to use the washing machine may be restrictive (in order to minimize disturbance to the tenant staying at the basement).

Comfortable and pleasant stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Midi residence. It is situated just across Midi railway station, less than 10 min walk. Clean and comfortable room with a clean bathroom.

Clean apartment close to the train station

Upon arrival, the host was extremely welcoming and friendly, giving us an extensive introduction to the apartment and how to use everything in the apartment. The bathroom was very clean, with fresh towels everyday, and the kitchen was fully equipped. The bed was clean and comfortable, so much so that we found it hard to get out of bed every morning! The breakfast provided every morning was great, and I loved that the host takes the effort to deliver warm bread at the door every morning. Hearing that we had to check out at 4am on our last day to catch an early flight, he very considerately offered to deliver that morning's bread in the evening, so that we could have our breakfast before leaving. I really appreciate the gesture, and would definitely recommend staying at Midi Residence! We really enjoyed our experience here.

Perfect accommodation

Ring the bell and you are met by a very nice guy called Arthur. The room is clean and modern with a well stocked fridge - all included in the room price. Arthur also brings fresh bread each morning.

Excellent accommodations near Midi train station

Stay here. Great host. Spacious accommodations. Super clean and efficient. Generous breakfast. Easy walk to the Midi train station. Interesting walk to the Central Square in historic Brussels.

Great place, extremely well-kept...

...but the equivalent of a four star accommodation means little in a one star neighborhood. The location to the Train and Subway can't be beat. The room/apartment is very clean, bed large, and even a balcony on the first floor. The neighborhood is a tough one. Seedy is the proper word. You don't want to be out after dark, though it seems like everyone else is based on the noise level. I was there for two nights, and while the most comfortable accommodation over a two week bounce through Europe, still the least safe.

Midi residence provides maximum comfort.

The apartment was a little home away from home. Warm bread was placed outside our door each morning to add to the abundance of ingredients in the fridge for a satisfying breakfast. A supermarket is close and public transport and restaurants not far away.

Nice clean big apartment but noisy

Apartment was nice , big and clean and near teh central station. But it was noisy . Even though windows were double glazed but you could still hear bikers and cars duriong teh night and eaerly morning. Did not get a good night sleep

Squeaky-clean, convenient, comfortable

Incredible value for an apartment-hotel five minutes walk from Brussels-Midi/Zuid train station. Modern and immaculately kept. Incredibly generous breakfast (ham, cheese, plenty of eggs, yoghurt, milk, tinned fish, muesli, cornflakes) provided and warm fresh rolls placed outside the door in the morning. There's a two-hob electric stove and a microwave for basic cooking. Arture, who runs Midi-Residence is of Polish origin and absolutely charming and welcoming. We were there in a heatwave (35.C), so it was disappointing that the aircon wasn't working, but there was a powerful fan. We were in room 3, the top floor of four floors, and it was boiling hot. I am 5ft5 and couldn't open the skylight windows without standing on a chair - but that's a minor disadvantage in an otherwise lovely room.

Perfect place to stay with a great host.

Parfait petit studio à 2 pas de la Gare du Midi. Grand espace, cuisine équipée, ménage quotidien, refrigérateur rempli pour le petit déjeuner, pain livré tous les matins par le propriétaire. Chambre très calme.

Excellent！　　 駅近で便利、建物の表示がドアに番地の数字２５、そして小さくMidiとあるのみで分かりにくいかもしれないが、駅前のHotel ibisを目印に通りを入っていけば大丈夫。部屋は居心地よく清潔。特に冷蔵庫内のストックの充実ぶりがすごかった。牛乳、水、たまご、ヨーグルト、チーズ、ハムEtc.とそろっていて毎日補充してくれる。毎朝パンと果物も届けてくれる。チェックイン時の説明もわかりやすくてよかった。

Clean as rarely happens even in the best hotels, I was really impressed by the service and the small attentions. Moreover, the fridge is full of food for the breakfast! Best place I've ever been in Brussels for my business trips.
