Relaxing Homebase for D-Day Sites & So Much More!

My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Manoir de Conjon. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed a generous breakfast of eggs, breads, jams, cheeses, meats, yogurt, and fruits while chatting with other jovial guests, our delightful hostess Isabelle, and the two sweet kitties of the house. This was a wonderful location to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring. The location was perfect for us. We rented a car in Paris, stopped in Giverny to visit Monet's farmhouse and gardens then made the easy drive the rest of the way to Crouay. We would have loved to stop in Rouen along the way but we didnt' have enough time this trip. We spent an entire day exploring and learning at the D-Day sites all along the coast, such as the Artificial Harbor at Arromanches, the Longue sur Mer gun battery, Pointe du Hoc Ranger Monument, the WWII American Cemetery, the WWII German Cemetery, and several memorials along Omaha Beach. Bayeux is just 12ish minutes away from Manoir du Conjon and this city is a beautiful location for exploring and having dinner. We also visited Mont St Michel and the Bayeux Tapestry. I would have very much enjoyed some of the Calvados and Cider tastings offered around Normandy but that too is for another trip. We will definitely be staying at Manoir de Conjon when we return!

Isabel, the host was amazing. The property is beautiful and rooms and bathrooms super spacious. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious Would highly recommend. Perfect location to visit all the sites in Normandy and Mont St Michel.

Absolutely wonderful. Modern amenities (new shower, bathroom, electrical outlets, etc) while still retaining its old world charm. Beautiful French manor in the countryside. Short drive to local D Day sites. Great breakfast spread in the morning and a great host. Note: manor is located in a rural area - most restaurants (as typical in the region) are a sparse and at least a 20 min drive away. Exactly what we wanted and more! Will be back.

Amazing place to stay!

Everything about Manoir de Condon was fabulous! Isabelle, the owner, was charming and helpful. Our room was very clean, roomy and beautifully decorated. The mattress was very comfortable and made for a great nights sleep! The bathroom is remodeled, spacious and very clean. Each morning we had a wonderful breakfast with fresh fruit, homemade yogurt, cereal, fresh croissants, fresh bread, jams, tea, juices, coffee. If we needed a special time for breakfast, Isabelle had everything ready for us! The grounds are beautifully landscaped and it altogether made for a wonderful stay. We loved our four days at Manoir de Conjon!!

This was an amazing gem of a find. Isabell's Manoir is quite exquisite. While a 5th Generation Farm house, it's well maintained and updated. The room was amazing with plenty of room and a huge bathroom. The view of the grounds from our window was breathtaking. Isabell made us a wonderful breakfast each morning and the conversations with the other guests around the table were quite enjoyable. You can't go wrong with staying here and if you're looking for a quite and luxurious place to stay, this is it.

We travelled as a family with 2 teenage boys (3 nights). We had a wonderful experience. Isabelle is absolutely wonderful. She is friendly and very helpful and made us feel very welcomed. Our 2 bedroom suite was very spacious and had lots of natural lighting. Bathrooms was spacious as well with a shower, bath tub and 2 toilets. My younger son enjoyed spending time with the cats and Romeo. He misses them already. Breakfast was delightful, everything was freshly made. Next time we are back in France, we will definitely add a trip to Bayeau just to stay here for a couple of days. Merci Isabelle for making our experience at the Manior de Conjon a memorable part of our trip to France.

I couldn’t be happier with my stay. I felt like I was coming home at the end of each day. The room was beautifully decorated. The location is beautiful and quiet. Isabelle served a fresh and healthy breakfast each morning. A total gem!

A sweet place of beauty

Manoir de Conjon is an amazing wonderful place. Isabel is so kind and gracious and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and more than you can eat! It is the perfect place to visit beautiful Bayeux and the Normandy beaches. Five Stars, 10 out of 10!

Huge rooms and bathroom. Elegant, very classy place with amazing host and delicious, copious breakfast. Amazing value!! A But in the countryside but very close to Bayeux. Highly recommend!!!

Better than home

The owner was outstanding. Treated like family and attentive to every need. The breakfast preparation was incredible. The rooms were unique as this is an older chateau. Really enjoyed our stay as it was a short drive to Bayeaux and Normandy sites. Glad we booked here.

Perfectly amazing

The rooms and bathrooms were perfect, spacious, and well decorated. Everything was provided that we could have ever needed. Breakfast was simply amazing. I wish we had been able to spend more time. I definitely will return with my family!

Wonderful stay!

We stayed here with for 4 night with 2 children and 2 adults in the large suite. The owner was extremely welcoming and friendly, and the breakfast every morning was excellent. The rooms are very spacious and have everything we needed. There's a lot of attention to details. Best value for money. You need a car to get around but it's a very short drive to the nearest town Bayeux full of restaurants and lovely shops, a very historic place.

Zero negative things to say about this property. It is beautiful. Bedrooms are well equipped (helllo HUGE bathtub). Issabelle was a delightful host that had a wonderful breakfast spread every morning. The location is great if you are visiting D-Day sites and the town of Bayeux is about 10 minutes away. Bayeux has lots of restaurants and shops. Can't say enough positive things about Manoir de Conjon.

We LOVED this property. It is elegant, quiet, beautiful, historic, and the owner is generous and kind. Rooms and private baths were large, comfortable and better than home. Stunning view of the garden and countryside. Loved the free range chickens and Romeo. Inspired by the garden. Host offered a phenomenal selection at breakfast of cheeses, breads, croissants, home made jams and fresh coffee. I can't wait to visit again and highly recommend this lovely home.

Everything is nice, this is a hidden gem in Bayeux. Minutes drive to Normandy beach, memorial sites, beautiful French country tranquil scene. Tasteful house deco, spacious bedroom and bathroom, great breakfast, thoughtful host Isabel, the property feels like new. There is no single thing we don’t like., would stay again.

Spotless , gorgeous place beautifully decorated! Super clean, peaceful and spacious rooms! The owner is a lovely lady who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and enjoyable!

A must stay in Normandy

This is a wonderful old manor house, with beautiful grounds. Isobel, our host was wonderful. The breakfast was delightful, we lingered over breakfast each morning and had so much fun visiting with other guests from all over the world. Isobel was very helpful in providing information for touring the D-Day sights, as well as the surrounding area. We stayed for five nights and would have enjoyed a few more. This is a must-stay location for any visit to Normandy. Beauex is only 15 minutes away with great shopping and dining options. The tapastry and the Cathedral in town are amazing as well.

All "Manoir" of good things.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Manoir. The location was convenient for visiting Bayeux and the coast. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Our host Isabel was friendly and helpful. We would not hesitate in staying here again.

I stayed for three nights, in early June 2023. The lodging is well maintained and my room was very large, well furnished, and clean. The bathroom was up-to-date and also very clean and was well supplied. The hostess met me at the front door and was very gracious during my entire stay. She went out of her way to ensure I had a pleasant stay. A delicious breakfast with fresh eggs, homemade yogurt, cheeses, and more was included in the room price and she accommodated my schedule by serving breakfast a little earlier than usual. Space in the refrigerator is provided if I wanted to use it and there were delicious candies in the room/ This B&B has a great location to use as a hub to travel to many of the nearby cities and museums. This did mean a slightly longer drive time but not changing hotels and staying in such nice, large lodging was well worth it. I had a wonderful stay and I highly recommend Manoir de Conjon.

Isabelle was a wonderful host!

Our stay was delightful. Isabelle, the gracious host has converted a 17th century country estate into a charming B&B with modern amenities. Close to the Normandie tourist sites and a historic gem. Our 4 nights there were a highlight of our 19 days in France.

Beautiful and peaceful location. Wonderful hospitality. Close to major attractions. Comfortable beds. Modern plumbing. Lots of small luxuries. Very clean. Delicious breakfast. Would go again and stay longer as a central base to explore the area.

Isabelle is a wonderful host. She showed us where to visit at Normandy and gave us information about the region. There’s a big supermarket 10 minutes from her place which we went to buy some snacks. There’s restaurants near the supermarket too. The breakfast is so good, I think it’s the best breakfast I had during my Paris trip, the croissants were so delicious, yogurts that she made was so smooth, she offered us eggs from her own chicken which’s superb. We were served with ham, cheese, fruits etc. A superb delicious breakfast. The room is huge, beautiful and so clean. We really enjoyed our stay at the place.

Isabelle is warm and makes you feel like family. Her breakfast is superb. Fram fresh eggs, homemade yogurt, cheeses, bread and delicious coffee. The property is beautiful! Easy to get to all tourist sites in Normandy. Wish I could stay longer!

Wonderful weekend in Normandy

We had a wonderful stay. The proprietress is extraordinarily friendly, warm and helpful. Our room was beautiful, well equipped, and very clean. Madame made us a splendid breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is very convenient to all the sites in the area.

Notre sejour au manoir de Conjon a ete fantastique. Une belle propriete au milieu de la campagne, une proprietaire aux petits soins. Des produit du jardin. Nous reviendrons! Our stay at the Conjon manoir was incredible. The property is a hidden gem lodged in the countryside. The owner is very kind and attentive to the needs of her guests. She served us food from her garden. We will definitely come back!

Exquisitely renovated Manoir in quiet countryside location but just 10 mins to the beautiful town of Bayeux. Our host, Isabelle, was warmly welcoming and her breakfast superb! Our new favourite place to stay in this area!

Great place to stay in Normandy

We have just returned from a wonder full holiday in France where we stayed at the Manior de Conjon. We found the place on Hotels.com and judging from the pictures we thought that this was the perfect place to stay during our one week visit to Normandy. Already from when we arrived our hostess made us feel welcome and since none of us speak French to a degree where we can make ourselves understandable, we settled on English as the common language and that went without any problems. The room was nice and big and the same for the bathroom. Everything was nice and clean and we instantly felt at home. The hostess also helped us by providing an electrical charger for our car and that was just great since we then could go on tours in the day time and charge at night. The breakfast was magnificent – freshly baked bread and croissants every morning with homemade marmalade and a fine selection of French cheeses and “charcuterie”. There was even homemade yoghurt and here we really got addicted  The hostess was always helpful providing us with guidance on what to see in the area and we visited places that we would not have thought about ourselves. All in all a great place to stay and we can definitely recommend this to others.

6 nætter på Manoir de Conjon i august 2024, dejligt stort værelse, morgenbuffet med alt! pragtfulde omgivelser og en fantastisk værtinde, der forstod både at hygge om os og at bidrage med nyttige oplysninger. Fremragende!

Chambre d‘Hotes exceptionelle!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in dem Manoir de Conjon! Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüsst und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Unser Zimmer mit schöner Aussicht auf den Garten war sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sowie das ganze Haus. Auch das Frühstück war hervorragend und reichlich. Wir kommen sicher sehr gerne zu dieser einmaligen Chambre d‘Hotes zurück!

Fransk herregårdsidyl i landlige omgivelser og med en særdeles gæstfri og venlig værtinde! Store værelser med to store badeværelser. Lækkert morgenbord.

Séjour très agréable, au calme. Une très belle et très grande chambre, "royale", pleine de charme. Une hôtesse charmante, au petits soins pour ces hôtes. Un petit déjeuner copieux, du fait maison. Nous retenons l'adresse, que je recommande vivement.

Excellent service and very good place and location

Séjour très agréable dans ce manoir. La chambre familiale est bien décorée et mêle l ancien avec deux salles de bain ultra modernes. L accueil d Isabelle est chaleureux et elle nous a bien gâté pour le petit déjeuner avec des produits faits maison et locaux. Bons conseils de visite. Seul bémol le manque de volet dans la chambre des enfants avec des rideaux occultants mais la lumière passe un peu, Nous avons cependant bien dormi grâce à l air vivifiant normand. Nous reviendrons.

Superbe domaine

Nous n’y avons passé qu’une nuit hélas mais nous reviendrons l’année prochaine Le cadre est magnifique, notre chambre impeccable et immense Le domaine est entretenu avec soin Et que dire de l’accueil et du petit déjeuner, là maîtresse des lieux est d’une gentillesse et sait recevoir Le rapport qualité /prix est imbattable

Un séjour très agréable dans un corps de ferme entièrement réhabilité, qui allie un confort moderne et un habillage typiquement normand. Une hôte charmante qui fera tout pour vous rendre le séjour plaisant.

De accommodatie is prachtig gelegen in het landschap van Normandie, op korte rij afstand van veel bezienswaardigheden. De kamer "Tapissierie' die wij hadden bestaat uit 2 zeer ruime en gezellige kamers en een dubbele badkamer. De bedden zijn comfortabel, de badkamer is erg modern en alles is zeer schoon. Het onbijt is meer heerlijk en zeer veel keuze. De gastvrouw is erg vriendelijk, niets is haar te veel. Kortom, we kunnen Manoir de Conjon zeer aanbevelen!

Gastvrij ontvangen, Isabelle staat steeds voor je klaar. Ze geeft als je wilt tips om heen te gaan. Mooie uitvalsbasis voor veel plekken die je wilt bezoeken.
