Beautiful and quiet location.Staff were very friendly and helpful. Anthony and Vimbayi were outstanding, thank you!! Could do with extra services like massage spa, some coffee and curio shops etc
Lovely place but needs to be run professionally
Staff need great improvement and training too. We are spending money equivalent to a5* hotel in Europe where all needs are met and
This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. We did not have hot water nor did the hotel provide complimentary water as noted in the signage in the room. In addition, there were two people in our room, however, the hotel only provided us with one towel. We requested an additional towel multiple times and did not receive one until three days into our stay. Further, we could not contact the front desk via phone call as the phones the front desk staff were using were not working. In addition to not being able to consistently reach the staff and lack of amenities in the room, there was a large window in the wall separating the bathroom from the main room and the door to the bathroom was transparent. This made taking a shower and using the restroom a very awkward situation, as I shared a room with a friend of a friend. If I had not been staying at the hotel for a wedding, I would have ask for a refund onsite and moved to a different hotel.
The property is on a beautiful piece of land with zebras and other animals on the property. This is the good part. The rooms although decently clean, generally do not make a comfortable stay. There was no hot water for almost the entirety of our stay and the staff although continuously promising us to turn on the hot water, never did so. So we effectively had no use of the shower during our stay. The room was also clearly not prepped for our arrival and the staff was very hesitant to provide towels and water. Again although the towels were promised for hours, we were only able to get them when we flagged down the cleaning crew. Finally-- the worst part of the rooms were the bathrooms which had inexplicably a see-through door and glass window. This meant that anyone in the room could see everything happening in the bathroom and anyone entering the room, with the bathroom door fully closed, still had a clear view of the toilet. Truly a befuddling design choice and making for an uncomfortable experience for all. Power was also frequently cut and wifi would not work. You would have to keep calling the front desk to get it turned back on which would take time. Finally, be prepared for the checkout experience to take 1 hour- unsure why, but everyone in our large group experienced this.
The duvet is not suitable for tall people. The food was terrible.l ordered a picnic platter and there was too much salt in the wings. Then later ordered dinner which l will give a 0/10.I was very disappointed as this was supposed to be a special birthday dinner.l’m really not sure if the food was prepared by a professional chef.Considering how much you charge per room and for the food you should have top class chefs. Then in the morning we had buffet breakfast which was not really buffet. You need to improve on that as well.Add varieties. You need to do something about the showers in the platinum rooms, the water comes out the front door.Other than that, everything else was fine.Beautiful resort, clean rooms and friendly stuff. And ohh we really loved the zebras.
Beautiful animals but under renovation.
Great grounds but food was not so good, the restaurant was out of loads, and some room s didn’t have AC or hot water
Hotel not as described or expected probably a 2 star at best. We booked a number of rooms on a bed & breakfast basis through Expedia and the hotel staff insisted on charging for breakfast. This hotel is disappointing, poorly maintained and not worth the price.
Needs TLC
Firstly check in did no go smoothly. They did not have my booking even though i had a booking confirmation number through hotels.com. They advised they were not affiliated with Hotels.com even though they advertise through them. I had to leave a $200 cash deposit while investigated even though I had receipts that i had fully paid in advance through hotels.com. They were apologetic and tried to remedy the situation asap. Turned out they located my booking through Expedia. My deposit was refunded later that afternoon. I stayed in the executive chalet. It was spacious however the kitchen was very dated, no toaster, a microwave that did not heat and a stovetop that was very slow. The cupboards were misaligned and difficult to open and close. The room safe did not work using the keypad. I was given a key to operate it. Room servicing was good and the attitudes of the staff i could not fault, always friendly, helpful, and smiling. During my stay there was a lot of construction going on with new facilities. A little noisy but bearable. What was not bearable was losing electricity at least 3 times every day and having the water turned off without any advice from reception. The interior lighting was also very poor. Wi-fi was terrible. The surrounds and privacy were however very relaxing. I would not recommend staying in the chalet. I would give Manna another chance however would need to be in one of the newly completed rooms and only after construction is completed.
Beautiful!
We had an absolutely lovely visit at Manna. Everything was beautiful and well-maintained, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious! We loved watching the zebras and impalas right by the reception area. We will definitely be visiting again!
We had a very good experience at Manna resorts. The room was clean and the staff was very nice. Swimming pool very clean and it was fun walking around in nature surrounded by beautiful animals
