Terrible place i am booking a hotel and they move to other dirty place
Warning! I have travelled a lot and stayed in low cost rooms and have been OK, But this place is bad. The rooms are nothing like the pictures. They initially took us to a different building 2 miles away. It was a bedroom in someone’s apartment. Bait and Switch! I walked away. Expedia was no help. You have to purchase the refund from Expedia for them to help. Be careful. I recommend you look elsewhere.
Location was good for us
Property was very clean and in a great location, wifi was good, and beds comfortable. We were provided with a couple for coffee and pastry a couple of blocks away. Only comment would be that it would have been easier to to check in via a code to access the building/unit and collect keys from a common area within the unit rather than wait to meet up with owner to collect keys at a specific time and wait outside the building.
Pictures weren't close to what we were given, room wasn't ready when they said it was, bed was nasty. We didn't end up staying. Once we tried to cancel the booking Expedia didn't do anything for us I tried to cancel the room 3 times, twice on the phone and once through an email and we didn't even stay there and got screwed by the "hotel" and Expedia. Very unsatisfactory all around, I've used Expedia for years and don't know if I ever will again unless this gets rectified. Awful awful awful experience. Stay away
There was a noise coming from the air conditioning system that kept us up at night. Also the view was horrible our work Our window view was of the back alley unpleasant. Fabio was nice but without front desk service it was difficult getting service
Disappointing, not enough hot water
Pro: comfy bed, clean, great location for exploring Con: Paid for room with jacuzzi bath as per picture. There wasnt enough hot water for a hot bath. We contacted owner many times in our 3 night stay, but he unable to resolve this. Water was a bit hotter by day 3 but bath so big it was cool before deep enough to use. first 2 days we then had to have cold showers as no hot water! Also photos give impression that property has private kitchen and balcony, this is shared.
Our experience was a nightmare. Fabio was not available to greet us when we arrived, but he gave us an address to drop off our luggage. He did not mention it would cost €10 for just a few hours. When Fabio finally arrived, he made us walk 10 minutes with luggage to another hotel because the hotel was overbooked. It was not what we paid for and did not meet our expectations. After 1 night, I was furious and inquired about cancelling, but decided not to due to lack of time. After confirming with Fabio during the morning that I would stay until the end of our reservation, Fabio packed my bags, cancelled our reservation and sent me a whatsapp message of the address to pick up the luggage. We had to interrupt our short trip to Rome to go pick up our luggage and find an alternative place to stay.
This place had great reviews, so we booked it. As soon as we got there we noticed the air conditioner was not working, and it was VERY hot. The owner said he would get it worked on right away, but I had to ask him multiple times throughout the day how it was going and he took a long time to get back to me. It never worked, and when I asked for a fan to at least circulate the air, he was not able to produce one. The room was nice, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom nice. I think the stay would have been pleasant if only they had checked all their amenities first, and been able to at least help us with a fan.
Buena ubicación
La ubicación es súper céntrica , el hotel está remodelado y en buenas condiciones . El personal que atiende muy amable . Es reconfortante llegar de un día ajetreado a tu hotel fresco y limpio.
I have mixed feelings.. We stayed in two hotels. The first was amazing, in all aspects. This one on the other hand was weird. First, we were told about a 28 euro state tax we had to pay the guy in person. It was basically just someones home with two rooms in it. We didn’t mind, we gave him the euro in cash as he asked and he gave us the keys. No receipt or anything which again we didn’t care for. Their wasn’t much just a bed, a table, and the jetted tub, again it was fine. The tub was great but in terrible condition and there was only some packets of shampoo so we bought soap and shampoo for the stay. We paid for the “free breakfast” and he told us we could just go to the bar and get a “voucher” for a free meal in the morning but every time we went, at different hours between 6-11 like he said and we never saw him... we asked him a second time and we were told the same thing but he wasnt there again so w never got breakfast, we even paid for breakfast in the bar one morning because we were starving. Never saw them, but that was the only thing and the sketchy 28 euro but that could be normal in some places. Other than the tub, which is where we had to shower as well, being pretty old and falling apart and the breakfast, the stay was fine.
Loved our stay at this B&B! Fabio was the best! Due to no cell service and the inability to communicate, we got to the hotel and Fabio had left to go eat. However, once we were able to find wifi at a shop nearby, Fabio was there in minutes. When you do stay, make sure you let Fabio know when you will arrive so that he can be there as he does not stay on property. The room was very simple, but clean and the bed was comfortable! There is no shower, only a big tub - but it was very nice! The location of the B&B is quiet, safe, and a short walk to all of Rome's major attractions. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Rome!
Nicola is a great very accommodating host
Misadvertised room, Breakfast was good
We booked this hotel for an overnight stay near the Roma Trastevere train station specifically for the in room jetted tub. Sadly, we arrived to a room that hotels.com did not reserve correctly. There are three rooms in this “apartment complex” and 2/3 of them have jetted tubs. We managed to be booked into a standard room with no jetted tub even though on hotels.com we specifically booked the room with the jetted tub. I believe that the room is advertised incorrectly because there are two standard rooms and one jetted tub room available online and the two standard rooms are priced higher which would make sense if it is actually the room with the jetted tub. Aside from that the room we received was decent with a view of the street. There was a lot of noise but the widows had shutters, which dampened the noise, and the room was dark at night. There was air conditioning and a larger shower with two shower heads and LED lights. The double bed was comfortable and soft. Breakfast consisted of a croissant, yogurt, banana, coffee, and juice. It was also served to your room at the requested time. Check in time is very strict and it is important to arrive before 11pm or else you really will not be able to check in. We arrived at 1120pm, and the hotel manager was kind enough to wait for us, but I would have to agree that he was not very happy about waiting that long, since he was also the same person who served us breakfast in the morning.
Not the best experience
Checking in were okay but instructions could be better. Location very good (if your room is at the location). Unfortunatly, overall we did not have the best stay at L'imperiale. The room were clean enough and were cleaned everyday with new towels. The shower is in the jacuzzi - the shower hose was not long enough to reach the holder on the wall. In addition, it was so short that my boyfriend could not stand up straight and take a shower. Not okay. Our room were located at the address stated at hotels.com but the bar that served breakfast were 350 meters away in the opposite direction that were we going each day. in addition the breakfast served was dull so we did not go more than the first morning. Unfortunately we had a small issue with the cleaning staff which threw out a shopping bag with a newly bought belt: we texted the contact person if he could ask the cleaning staff if they threw out the bag (of course not on purpose) but the response were dismissive saying 'they didn't throw anything out besides the trash can bags and that we should 'check better' - we had done so several times and we know fore sure, that we have had the bag in the room (other tings we had bought we still had). So all in all not the best experience and we would not book the place again.
A fuir. Je vous dis mon ressenti, ce que j'ai vécu.

Our bed was super comfortable memory foam and we were happy to have a jacuzzi in our room. We did however wish the jacuzzi would get hotter and would have liked more of a breakfast considering it was a bed and breakfast. Breakfast only included 1 croissant and coffee so we had to go out to get a 2nd breakfast shortly after. It was okay because the neighborhood had lots of great restaurants to choose from. Overall was an okay stay, not too bad.
