Very clean. A bit outdated Staff was pleasant. Location convenient to lake front, lighthouse and dining.

Great bed, clean room, close to the shore for a nice walk. The manager suggested restaurants and gave coupons too. We will stay here again.

Great location but dated not up to todays standard

Hotel is dated. But the best location. No breakfast. Our housekeepers only made our bed 1 out of 4 days. We had to ask for towels. They took the soap and didn't replace it. However, there is a staff member named Kevin that went above and beyond to help us out, even though he was not assigned to our room.

Very clean except for a ring of mold above th shower. There was no insulation between floors and we could hear every step from above us.

Calling it a "partial lake view" is a stretch at best. The place was *fine* but it was not worth the cost. The sheets were stained and the tv had on that setting that makes everything look terrible. They were literally selling people's left purses in the lobby, so I guess don't forget your luggage or you'll never get it back.

If you are looking for a place to stay in Mackinaw City for a reasonable price, this is a fantastic option. The rooms were clean, the staff was great. We reserved online and made a special request. They accommodated our request and communicated that they would be able to do so within an hour of making the reservation. The location is excellent also.

We stayed one night and then stayed on the island but they had a pool not heated and a hot tub. My kids enjoyed them I’m just not a cold water person lol. Room was great we had a great stay

An older property in great condition. Offers views of the straights, lighthouse and bridge. Hot tub was great but the pool was too cold to use. Good value for the price considering it's Mackinac in season. I would stay again and definatly recommend.

The room was really nice. The property is in a good location. Good walking distance from the ferry and restaurants. The pool is great. The room was clean and well upkept.

This property is right across the exist and bery near to Ferry point. Very quite area and we liked the decent setup of the rooms. Housekeeping was great . Will recommend to people if you want to save some money.

I liked that it was near the bridge and lighthouse. Heater worked great! Room was spacious and beds were comfy. Room did not look really clean but it was ok. It was clean enough. People that stayed next to us were really loud and made a lot of noise. Especially at night. Overall, ok.

My family loves this location! Friendly and convenient! They recently updated the rooms and wow I am impressed and excited to come back!

They were very kind and helpful. We arrived after they closed, but they still allowed us to stay for the night. Great area and great service. Cost was much better than any other place in the area. Fairly clean room with all of the necessities. Would absolutely stay here again.

Walk out to the lighthouse and short walk to everything.

Have stayed here several times. Great motel. I can’t say enough good things about it. Unfortunately due to illness in family we had to cancel our plans. Look forward to staying when family is feeling better. Once again I say Great place to stay!!

Shower curtain horrible…,needed to be replaced!!!!!! No where in shower to put soap and shampoo but on the floor.

Such a cute spot… just needed to lay out heads down. Not luxurious, but clean fresh.

This property is well located just across from the Colonial Fort Michilimackinac Park and walking distance to restaurants- Audie’s was very good. The staff were efficient and friendly and the room was extremely clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower hot with good water pressure. I would have given five stars except for the noisy people overhead. We would definitely stay again and ask for either an upper floor unit or a single floor unit.

Great location right across from the light house. Walk across the street & see the Mackinaw Bridge!

Our check in was really nice. We arrived very early and was pleasantly surprised that our room was ready. The room is exceptionally clean and quiet. What a great value. Also it’s walking distance to everything In Mackinaw city. We’ll be back here soon.

For a affordable Motel i was impressed, i loved that beach and The Bridge is literally across the street

The room was clean and all staff was very pleasant! The bad part of the experience is that my 82-year old Mother had to walk up that steep flight of steps due to no available rooms on 1st floor.

Nice place to stay

Wish there had been a small bench/table in bathroom for a place to set clothes, etc. shower curtain curtain needs to be longer and weighted to keep water in shower and off floor. Also would appreciate a couple hooks and/or towels bars near sink, and in bathroom so towels could dry out. Loved the planked floor vs. carpeting - added to cleanliness

If you can get a top floor. The room above mine had the loudest squeaky floor ever so everytime they walked about you got woken up. Like all night in my case.

Loud echoes

Super thin walls, extremely noisy when anyone walked by or started the car. Only stay here if you have ear plugs or are a heavy sleeper. Bed is like concrete, so not very comfy

Great location

Excellent location near bridge. Motel is decent for the price. Pool and hot tub are great. Room was a bit dated and had a slight musty smell but, was comfortable. Can’t beat being so close to the bridge! We were able to see the sunset and sit on benches afterwards to see the bridge at night. Like others stated, parking is a bit tight but really wasn’t a problem.

Great little place, parking was a little tight though!

Accommodations were excellent, and the facility was convenient to places we wished to visit. Parking in the hotel lot was a bit snug, but otherwise fine, since we always were able to find a parking spot.

We enjoyed staying in this quiet location across the street from a park on the lakeside. It was a few blocks of a scenic walk to restaurants and other shops.

The room was spacious; the only issue with cleanliness, was the floor not being swept. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The area was exceptionally close to all the shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay there again.

Close to beach and establishments, walkable for active folks. Overall a good experience. Bathroom fan was LOUD.

Great view of the bridge from across the property. It was only 15 min walking distance from the ferry. The room was clean and smelled great.

We LOVED the pool and hot tub! Comfortable, clean room.

Needs comfortable beds and linens. There were ceiling stains in both the bedding area and bathroom. The room was dark and had a musty odor, I assume they are closed down during the winter month's and that causes the odor? Noticed all the vacant rooms had the windows open as was ours when we arrived. Room had Microwave and small frig and a good TV. We had an upgraded room ( view) don't bother, your a ways from the lake across two one way streets and the the trees in the park block most of the view, but an easy walk.You can see the parking lot very well. Desk attendent was nice and courteous. I will stay at a different property next trip. Just a note, one family in Mackinaw owns the majority of all the motels and even some restaurants. Not sure if this was one?

Great Location very nice staff. Owners on top of things. Air conditioners didn't work very well and beds were very uncomfortable and bathroom exhaust was very loud. Parking lot tight fit. But Kevin one of the employees there so kind and greeted us with a smile. Don't find that much anymore...

Mackinaw crossing

The Hotel was clean, however the room was small and there was no gym or breakfast. The location was nice just off the hwy but if I was in tow again I would probably look for something else.

A real nice property in a great location. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but overall was a good value for the price.

I would recommend this stay for anyone coming to the city. Super close to everything you want. Pool and hot tub area is really nice!

Nice motel with a lake view. Enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and enjoyed our walk into town each day. Pool and hot tub were clean and a nice way to relax at the end of the day.

The location is within walking distance to the main hub and ferries. Lovely view of Mackinac bridge across the street. Parking lot is very tight for SUVs. You also do not want to be on the first floor…you will hear everything in the room above you.

Small, quint, close to the Mackinac Bridge and water. Easy walk or short drive to shops. Hotel room was cute, no where to sit outside of room, if blind was open everyone could peer in as they walked by. We could hear everything in the evening, people walking by, doors closing, people talking, running by room, loud talking etc. overall okay but probably would not stay again.

We loved staying here and Terry and his wife are wonderful owners and their staff are outstanding! They are very helpful and go the extra mile for their guests. We will not stay anywhere else when we are in the Mackinaw City area.

Very nice pool/hot tub room. Comfortable beds. Quiet. Can walk to downtown Mackinac City and Sheplers ferry. We barely drove anywhere while staying here. Right across from Lake Huron. We all loved the beach being so close.

This motel is a great place to stay! Our room was ready and so beautiful. The cleanliness was amazing, and the room was very spacious. It was perfectly stocked with the items we needed for our stay. The view of the bridge is something to enjoy. Restaurants and shops are located nearby and within walking distance. We are planning to visit again and highly recommend it!!

The perfect little stay if you want to explore Mackinaw City or hop on a ferry! Everything about it was convenient and easy. I walked into town each night, and it was a gorgeous stroll. Recommend staying here if you’re laid back and like to explore!

A great family owned old style motel. Nothing fancy but well maintained and clean. Very quite area and across the street from the lake and lighthouse. Sheppler's ferry offers a shuttle from here to the Mackinaw Island ferry! Nice pool and hot tub.

Simple but good

Basic room but was clean. Good water pressure and in a good location at about 1/2 mile from down town. Great motel for the price.

It was close to the lake, the lighthouse and the bridge. We were able to walk there. There was a good restaurant less than a mile away. Quiet and clean

Good location, great overnight stay

Easy check-in, friendly and helpful staff. Spacious room with table and chairs, large tv,and ample counter space. Mattress was just okay, but we slept well. Bridge view was mostly blocked by trees, room 202.

Lovely Motel

This was a very nice motel; definitely one of the best ones we've stayed at! The pool/hot tub area was fantastic and it was indoors with its own bathroom. There were even sliding doors for the windows to allow a nice breeze in the pool area. The room itself was pretty clean (there was a mysterious wet spot on our bathroom floor, but no big deal) and the front desk lady that checked us in was incredibly friendly and nice. There was also a pretty area to walk around across the street.

The hot tub felt good after returning from biking around the Island. Nice location - a short walk across the street to view the lighthouse and a great view of the bridge. Nice location we were able to ride our bikes to the ferry.
