The B&B was very nice . It was very homey. I loved all the amenities, sweet snacks , fresh popped popcorn. Coffee , tea and even wine tasting . Room was beautiful with robes . I would definitely go again!

Wonderfully tranquil. Nice added touches - complimentary baked goods and soft drinks. Wine Happy Hour with other guests. Rooms spacious and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Excellent B & B. Highly recommend.

Huffine Snow weekend

We had a great time. We didn’t know what to expect, but we wanted to see some snow and we thought there might be some there. The area had gotten some snow, but the weather was just perfect. The owners and staff were fantastic and were always available to help.

A jewel on the lake! This luxurious yet cozy retreat has everything to keep you comfortable away from home-they have focused on attention to detail in outfitting the rooms, which are beautiful with high quality linens. The breakfast menu was amazing, the garden and views were awesome and they have paddle boards and kayaks to use, in addition to a guided boat tour on the lake! Can’t wait to return!

So, this place was recommended to us by a friend during a happy hour conversation. We'd never heard of it or Deep Creek Lake. But after a little research my wife and I decided it was a place we needed to visit for a getaway. Since Juneteenth is a federal holiday, we decided to take a couple of days midweek and spend them here. Where do I start? A cozy, comfy bed and breakfast that places customer satisfaction as the top priority. We visited the site and were prompted to select the room we wanted. We chose a room with a king-sized bed and a spa tub on the top floor called the Sang Run room and booked it for two nights. The room was clean and elegantly decorated with a full bathroom and shower in addition to the tub. A gas fireplace sits near the tub (unfortunately, because it was the middle of the summer we didn't have a chance to use it; I can only imagine how luxurious it must be in the dead of winter to lay in that spa tub with a fire going in the fireplace). A flatscreen Vizio TV with Roku was in the room with two comfortable lounge chairs right in front. Downstairs is a porch that runs the entire south side of the house, with rocking chairs and tables so you can enjoy the breeze off the lake. Snacks (brownies, chocolate-chip cookies, homemade marshmallows) are available 24-7, and there's a popcorn maker with bags of popcorn usually available. What a wonderful place to stay, right on the water. Loved the boat rides, beautiful views from the porch and yummy snacks. Breakfast was outstanding. We definitely were pampered.

Very personal hands on approach by the staff, walked through the property with us pointing out the amenities upon arrival. Very scenic views yet seemingly private.

Amazing retreat on the lake

Great place to stay on the lake and across the street from Wisp resort. Very clean and nicely decorated friendly attentive staff and delicious breakfast. Great nights sleep comfortable beds and very quiet . Our only regret is we only stayed one night we were in town for The special Olympics. Would definately stay here again .

The staff is above and beyond friendly. Beautiful B&B by the lake and ski slopes. My husband and I stayed for our trip to the slopes. The breakfast was homemade and delicious. The jacuzzi tub was more than perfect after a day on the slopes. This place is a hidden gem.

They did a great job converting a mid 1800s farm house into a welcoming bed and breakfast. The staff was warm and pleasant, anticipating our needs. The place was quiet and restful, tastefully decorated with comfortable, appropriate period furnishings.

Lovely Stay!

We had been at LPI before but this was even better than remembered. We stayed in the Savage Room that was better than the photos. The setting was great & the Inn was very clean & comfortable. Loved the breakfasts and the wine happy hour. Sorry to have missed the fire pit evenings & free boat ride.

Amazing getaway

We had a wonderful stay. The location is beautiful, the staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful, breakfasts, with so many options, were custom made and super delicious. Had an evening pontoon boat ride on the lake and also had kayaks and canoes available to use. Close to nice hiking areas. Wisp Resort is walking distance for summer and winter activities.

So quiet and peaceful. Even though the property is old it is up-to-date in amenities. The Inn has the charm of the lake and casual living.

The owners have thought of everything. From the comfortable bed and bedding, in room fireplace and soaking tub, desk area to work, comfortable sitting area for a nightcap or reading, toiletries and even bath salts. Fresh baked cookies, fruit and honor "bar" saved me when I was too tired to go out to eat dinner upon arrival. Everyone I met was friendly and wanted to ensure my stay, however brief, was pleasant. I will definitely be coming back for a longer stay next time. Highly recommend.

They had everything needed and more to make it a very relaxing vacation. Homemade breakfast was excellent! Staff made sure we had everything we needed each day we were there. Can’t say enough good things.

Peaceful lakeside location. Beautiful historic structure. Wonderful recreational amenities including a complimentary afternoon boat ride. Delicious breakfast. Chocolate chip cookies available all day. Warm and inviting Inn with a friendly attentive staff. What’s not to love?

The Lake Pointe Inn is a 5-star gem of a property located directly on a lake. Excellent service was provided by the owner, manager, and staff. Plenty of places to relax both inside and outside. Dozens of places to eat, shop, hike, and explore within a 20 minute drive. Stay once and you will want to stay again. And again.

My husband and I found this bed and breakfast over winter after a friend recommended it. Proximity to wisp for skiing in the winter is fantastic. In the summer, there’s a dock in the water with kayaks and paddle boards free to use. There’s a fire pit we used until midnight each night. Staff was incredibly accommodating and the breakfast was always good! 10/10 recommend!

LPI is a very old house that has been converted to a charming inn. It sits directly on the lake with lovely views. the area is quiet, the staff couldn't have been friendlier

There wasn't anything we didn't like about the Inn or the service. Breakfasts were excellent and the staff was super friendly. We'll be back.

We enjoyed the delicious full sit down breakfast and the comp pontoon boat ride around the lake. It was relaxing and gave a great overview of the lake and houses and restaurants.. Service was outstanding and sitting of the porch overlooking the lake was wonderful.

Relaxing Inn in Lovely Setting

LPI - Gorgeous location and charming building. The staff were friendly, helpful, and entertaining. Everything was easy and no-stress. There are lots of spaces to relax and view the water. The beds and bedding were amazingly comfortable. We did take advantage of the lovely pontoon ride as a chance to see more of the lake and sat in the evening in front of the fire pit. Breakfast was tasty and fresh -- served at tables outside, what a treat -- and the number of menu options was surprising. We enjoyed the happy hour and appreciated the availability of soda and water, and yummy chocolate chip cookies. We would have been happy to stay longer and expect to come back as the Inn is well-located for day tripping and hiking. There's plenty to do in the area and I imagine the fireplace room is cozy in winter. I felt spoiled while there and wondered this morning while someone didn't seat me outside with a view of the lake to serve me breakfast. Thank you, LPI, for a relaxing break.

Everything about the Inn is lovely. Customer service is exceptional. The grounds are gorgeous, and so welcoming. The bedding is luxurious. The weather was a little chilly, but we were so cozy by the fire at night. Breakfast in the morning was so delicious, as were the happy hour snacks.We definitely hope to come back again. Very soon!

The breakfast is delicious don't miss it. The background music by the indoor fireplace is relaxing. There are quiet hours which is very appreciated.
