Luxury resort with outdoor pool and lounge, within short walking distance to the beach and waterfront activities. All inclusive menu with great Israeli cuisine and decadent desserts. Generous open bar and snacks throughout the day. Staff is incredibly attentive and accommodating.

Solo holiday

I had a great time

Everything was EXCEPTIONAL! From the min at the reception to the food area and staff at dining through room service, EVERYTHING was REALLY REALLY GREAT!!! Will DEFINITELY go back there on our next vacation!

pool not open

Room was modern and cleaned daily. The food was great. Breakfast was good but mostly the same every day. Lunch and dinner always had new and different stands for putting together dishes. The staff was very attentive. We were staying with an infant and multiple times different staff members that noticed us walking around the hotel asked us if we had everything we needed for him. The location is great too, 2 minute walk from the docks and promenade, less than 10 minutes to the Ice Mall.

The property was very nice. The entertainment was fun

Lovely hotel minutes from the beach food good and plentiful. Pool was cold for February although we were blessed with good weather the water was too cold to enjoy a swim although noted others in the pool for a few brave minutes. Staff could do with being friendlier at reception but have had much worse in past so no specific complaints.

Overall nice stay. A lot of noise in the hotel and not enough staff. Food was great and ideal location.

Some services at reception/restaurants had problems (very slow, not friendly etc...) but in general, all good. Very clean, nice facility, not very big hotel so somehow kept quiet even though the hotel was fully booked with lots of kids running around :) Food was great, wonderful bar/lounge service, great to be pampered for vacation!! Recommended hotel.

Great people and service

A great hotel for families with children

The hotel staff was very friendly, food was fantastic, especially dinner, breakfast was alright, although not that diverse. The two things that i didn't like in the hotel were the visitors (some were very rude with no matters at all) and the fact that there was no beach nearby (there's a marina, no beach with sand nearby though). Overall the experience was positive and i would definitely consider going back.

Great stay

It was a very nice holiday! We were very happy with the hotel, the room was clean and spacious with balcony with pool and promenade view. The service was excellent and the food was varied.

Decent but mildly disappointing

The room smelled badly, like mold or mildew from the air conditioning. The mattress was flimsy. The food was mostly fine but the fish was undercooked and made us sick. It’s a good location and a fair price for the overall experience, but not the sort of place to return to. Covid obviously had a bad effect, and the place seemed overwhelmed by a rowdy crowd who had limited options on the hottest weekend in Israeli history.

Family vacation

The hotel has good accomodation, the pool area and the staff are friendly, but its small parking lot is very disturbing. I had to park my car 15min away walk.

Perfection!

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The check in was quick and painless and we arrived at 2pm and they immediately gave us our room which was very helpful after a long journey. The hotel was clean and the service was excellent. The staff were always wearing masks and gloves and they were very good at reminding guests to do the same. The staff were friendly and happy to help (a special thanks to the waiter that helped my son bring his food to the table! )The food was excellent (not loads of variety though). The pool area was clean and nice to sit around although the actual pool itself was a bit small. The location was was central and near to everything we wanted to go to. The parking in the hotel was full but they directed us to a free overflow parking area which was a couple of minutes away from the hotel. Overall an excellent stay we would definitely recommend it and we will definitely be returning!!

A must stay!!! Value, quality and convenience.

The rooms were large, beds were very comfortable with excellent quality pillows and blankets. Toiletries and towels. Staff was very helpful. The kids programs were excellent and FREE and available throughout the day and night. Kids loved The kids club, the amazing dance shows and the face painting and pool actives. Kids also enjoyed the unlimited ice creams bars of all flavors and kinds. Excellent brands. They don’t skimp out. The buffet is not like traditional buffets. It’s all fresh and gourmet with many different choices at each meal. They change up the Choices for each meal. There are numerous stations to choose from With mostly healthy and fresh options. The falafel and grilled chicken was made fresh to order. Unheard of at buffet where things are usually frozen and premade: loved the food, service and accommodations

Great family hotel

Very good family hotel. This was our second visit. The pool is great. The room is comfortable. Very good service everywhere. Perfect location. The food was a bit less good this time, less choice than in the past, but still very tasty, fresh.

Good hotel

Lovely hotel. Food and accomodation was good. On the last 2 days, there was an influx of school children for a sports tour. This affected the quality of our family trip as the kids were very loud from the morning to night and around the pool and at meals. However when I mentioned it to Jana at checkout she did what she could to make things right.

Very simple resort; no private beach. Food was not tasty. Next time I would choose another (better) resort; this is not 4 star resort. OK for one night.

Excellent value for money

Very happy about this hotel. It is not 5 star hotel but doesnt pretend to be. However staff were super helpful and friendly throughout, place was immaculately clean - cleaning staff were always swarming around and the location was great. I was hesistant with all inclusive food, but the food was excellent!! WiFi was also super fast. I will definately be going back.

Tasty delicious food, very polite staff (don’t forget usually you find a lot of rude people around) very bright room , huge comfy bed (floors need to be updated inside rooms and hallways , they are really wear out ), very good location overall worth for a 4star hotel

The hotel is one of the best... Food is delicious & staff are friendly. The hotel is super clean and the rooms are so comfy. My only complain was that the house keepers were so loud during the day while we were trying to get some rest. Other than that we had an amazing time and we definitely will get back there again.

I paid twice you took money from me and the hotel took money too bad service. I need my money back. They says, the work with expedia, expedia charge us first Then they charge us at the reseption too.

Aging hotel, poor service, you get branded with a plastic bracelet on check in. No buss boy. No help. Avoid

Great hotel, have been coming to Eilat for years and tried loads of hotels. Always end up coming back to lagoona that beats all the others for quality of food, excellent facilities, perfect position, looking to please you always with a smile, excellent entertainment. What else could you wish for?

Not Best Hotel for Single Mature Adults

I would rate this hotel a C+ based primarily on the restaurant and beverage offerings, and would likely not stay here again. The location is excellent and the hotel property appeared well maintained. I had a very nice room with pleasant view of pool. This hotel appears to be great for families, but I am a mature adult traveling with a friend (also mature adult) and we found the buffet restaurant at this all inclusive hotel no more than a C+ for breakfast and dinner with many children dashing around. I didn't get a decent cup of coffee until the last day, when real coffee (and not nescafe) was available.

A C+ visit

The staff were pleasant and helpful except the did not have non-caffeinated or herbal tea in inventory”. I was able to get pure mint leaves in hot water only once but lemons in hot water was easier. Those fixes were not recommended to me but I pushed for them. It is a family resort with many children running through the main floor and dining room unattended. I watched a child of about 8 taste a loaf of bread and put it back and handle several rolls before selecting several. The food said to be hot was not; sometimes not even room temperature.

Near to all attraction

In Eilat, the weather in winter is like spring with temperature of 26 degrees Celsius So to run away the cold if Europe , to relax , this is the perfect location to be . The hotel is near to everything , including a Mike’s Place with live music at 5 minutes walk from the hotel .

Nice hotel close to all amenities

I enjoyed my time in Eilat very much. The only complaint I had was that the food was often at best lukewarm and to get hot food you had to watch out for the chefs coming out of the kitchen with fresh food.

GREAT HOTEL _ WOW!!!

This hotel is brilliant. friendly staff from the managers, F & B manager, chefs to the baristas and cleaning staff. Nothing was too much to ask them. My daughter, who is gluten intolerant, was made whatever she desired - no problem and with pleasure. MOUNDS of food, fizzy drinks, fruit juices, beer and alcohol and ice cream at the pool. Not to mention speciality coffee and teas - ALL INCLUDED!!! Would DEFINATELY return at the drop of a hat!!!

Perfect place to chill

A great hotel that offers a first rate facility and an all inclusive product for a very reasonable rate. The staff work hard to satisfy your every need and do so with a smile. on reviewing my stay I would struggle to find fault with my experience and thus would be happy to return.

Family Weekend

Overall We enjoyed our weekend at the Lagona hotel. The hotel animation was excellent. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The location is good. The hotel staff were kind...we recommend staying at this hotel.

Lagoona holiday

The only negative is our room was next to the lift which was very noisy. Therefore I recommend that people request not to have a room that ends in 04.

Have cash with you when going to stay in this hote

Every move in hotel need to be paid. Until I show to security $100 bill, he did not let me go into the parking garage.
