Beautiful resort with amazingly helpful staff and no shortage of things to do and wildlife to discover. Everything is walkable but free buggy transports services are still on offer if you're getting tired, and all the food is incredible.
The resort is amazing. The water villas are a dream come true. Waking up everyday to the sounds of gentil waves breaking across the front of the villa. Sangu resort pool and restaurant are absolutely stunning. Staff is friendly and attentive. An excellent place to celebrate my engagement.
The resort is stunning! We stayed in a Jacuzzi Beach villa and were just steps away from gorgeous turquoise waters. The snorkeling excursions were incredible: swam with mantas, reef sharks, spring rays, remotes, and tons of different fish. Food was very good and the service was incredible.
Kuredu
Level of service on the resort is excellent. The food and drinks are also plentiful with lots of varieties to choose from. The host was very efficient and helpful and all the facilities and amenities were well organized. Be prepared for a long wait in the seaplane lounge on arrival for transfer to the island and you will also lose an hour in time difference on arrival. I would recommend it.
The room was very comfortable and I really liked the outdoor bathroom. The covered patio was fantastic with a lovely view. The beach was about 20 steps from my patio. There is a wonderful pool and the restaurant had a great variety of tasty food.
Great value. Sand bar on one side of island is breathtaking.
An amazing resort with the friendliest staff who go above and beyond to make your stay the best experience possible. Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed by Kuredu!! It literally is paradise!
It was a very bad choice and we regret it
Don’t believe is free Wi-Fi , the Wi-Fi if very limited then you have to buy a very expensive package but what? Is not full covered! The staff is not friendly with experience with Ms. Shifu in main reception. She is not professional person when we asked for extended stay . Make me regret to think stay more in this place The food is not really good using a lot of oil make food not healthy And some of them is not friendly based in a bad experience
Very good resort
Hotel is very good. We stayed at Sangu area over the water. We had an amazing time. Food is great! Beach and facilities all amazing and the star was all the Staff. Everyone is very nice and friendly, they all greet you when you pass by them. Special note for Ramah from Sangu restaurant, super friendly waiter and Kyron, one of the chefs. The only note is for the bikes. They are not well maintained and don't match to pictures announced, so not worth renting.
Rest and marvel
Great service and kindness! Time is no matter over there... Excellent guest service from Polina!! Book the 5.8 undersea restaurant and ask for the wine pairing.
Great resort with lots to do
The customer service in the Maldives is top notch. The welcome off the seaplane with the music. There are a number of restaurants at the island that are very good. The main buffet had a good variety of nationalities type of food. The beaches were great. The resort was not very full when I was there which made for a better experience I think. the island is large so be prepared to walk or choose a room near the areas you want to be in. There is a golf course (I think the only one in Maldives). The best part to me was the experience in the underwater restaurant 5.8 Restaurant in the neighboring island. It was an outstanding experience. Cost around $300+/person but worth the experience. There are a lot of activities and excursions to do in Kuredu so you will never be bored. I suggest you take the time to just relax too, I loved the rooms. They were very comfortable and the sound proofing was too good. I like the sound of the ocean and the sound proofing cut most of that out. Comfortable beds and I liked the outdoor bathroom. The lighting at night on the island could be better. If you are not in a main area or are on a beachfront villa bring a flashlight it gets really dark off the main road. There is sand everywhere if you want to go barefoot I preferred sandals for the road walking. There is a "white party" every Friday so bring a set of white clothes to blend in and it is a night club like environment. They have a free photo shoot so bring instagram clothes for that.
If you wanna to spend holidays with relax this place for you
The Dive Centre and dive sites close by were great. Compared to other islands we have visited we were not keen on the island being separated into 3 distinct areas making it feel like 3 resorts in 1, the main central area accessible for the standard rooms feeling inferior to the other areas. The main restaurant was poorly laid out and tables far too close together for normal times let alone during Covid times of social distancing. We were saddened to notice a lot of things around the island requiring general maintenance and it just felt rather tired and neglected compared to its sister islands. We would not be tushing back.
We absolutely loved the Island. A slightly bigger one than the others with plenty to do which was perfect for us. The staff were amazing !
Kuredu is a great size island with lots of variety and plenty of food, entertainment and activities. We stayed in a water bungalow which had a fantastic view. Sangu area of this island had the most amazing food. And we took a few great day trips - 3-in-1 BBQ boat trip and the luxury day sailing - both I highly recommend taking!
Very spacious accommodation right over the sea. Facilities were excellent . Those under 18 years were not allowed in the bar or restaurant allocated to this part of the island. The staff were very friendly and helpful and they managed to teach us quite a bit of their Maldivian language. A perfect holiday, the luxury sunset cruise was also fantastic with the dolphins swimming alongside the yacht.
great mid range resort
An excellent resort which is well run and caters for everyon. The service is excellent
The resort was awesome , staff are all friendly and attentive. Rooms are cleaned and refreshed more than once a day. The food was great! The resort was overall breathtaking
Lovely staff , sayer in the garden villa and the sultan villa,
We had a fantastic stay at Kuredu. It was a perfect blend of relaxation with lots of activities. We had an amazing island host, Saamee who went out of his way to accommodate us and this made our trip truly amazing!
The service is amazing all the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Getting around the island is easy. Wide variety and selection of food daily and the quality of the food is top notch. Would highly recommend for any couples or families.
Beautiful island and great facilities. The staff are amazing! Many thanks to Saskia our host for attending to our request.
Beautiful location with great food, fascinating sea life on your doorstep and very friendly staff
The island is simply stunning. The staff can not do enough to help and it is a beautiful island to visit.
Unforgettable!
Amazing!
Don’t bother paying for all inclusive. Unless you don’t mind a buffet only and being given basically a one page list of cocktails that you can order. But don’t ask to change any of the cocktails, or to make a special one... that’s not allowed. No activities are free except the gym and tennis. Food was decent for all inclusive but I’ve never been to any resort where you can’t sit down at a restaurant for a nice dinner. If you want to do that, open your wallet as no restaurant is included. Usually, I’ve found at resorts that certain items are surcharge or a very fancy restaurant is surcharge. But here, everything is surcharge. I call this resort the nickel and dime you resort.
Mostly everything was good without being excellent on every expect. I was personally expecting a wow factor which did not happen. All facilities were just about efficient with out a special mention on anything. Some minuses were having to wait long for their transport buggies, only 2 were in operation and the rest were stationed under shades. 1 Big gripe was that the Sangu Water Villa we stayed in had a distinct lack of power sockets, only 1 free socket was free to use which was under the bed and all other sockets were taken by the room supplies. there was no where to plug the Kettle or the coffee maker so we had to use the Bathroom one or keep unplugging the side lamp for the kettle
very expensive, soft drink $6. staff excellent and very clean resort. did not know i have to pay for seaplane. did not read carefully through the small print , coast me $1800 for 5 persons. recommended for people looking for privacy and tranquillity Island very beautiful and not crowded.
The food was amazing, accommodation was close to all the amenities, the staff are so friendly.
Worth a try depending on your budget! 3stars!
Mixed reviews on this holiday/island to be honest. Wifi has a limit per day Be careful when you check out we got stung on a bill on stuff we had not used. No point arguing we stood for about an hour he said she said my word against theres type of thing was going on. Ridiculous and so annoying. They honestly didnt care at the point of check out. Check in was amazing but the service drops as your days lessen. All excursions are expensive (Jet ski 30mins €140 each, candlelit dinner €190 each, set times for 2hrs snorkeling €69 each) The spa is also overpriced an I go a lot of spas and this was not any different to one at home really I expected it to be unreal. (€120 each for just for a 60mins massage) Soft drinks €6 so not to bad and food is lovely and water is free Buy a snorkle kit and go yourself you dont need a tour. The sea is gorgeous and you will see loads init at all times of the day that you go init. Seaplane is smooth there and back I had no problems or delays (€360 return each) an same with my luggage delivered on time etc The sand is gorgeous but coral shoes are a must!! Entertainment each night was good but not much to do during the day especially with the heat Rooms were fine I have no amazing nor bad points about them. Pick the side of the island were the water villas that's the side we was on and it was quite I can imagine the other wide to be annoying with the noise of the seaplanes all the time We didnt use the pools. Worth a try depending on your £
Rooms very clean, well equipped. cleaned daily with a turn down service
Bar/waiting staff excellent. Garden bungalows need updating, no enforcement on pool rules ie allowing children to run, dive, drinks in the pool. Astronomically over priced shops.
This resort is a 5 star resort, with 5 star services and activity
The reservation and check-in process was a nightmare. We spent at least 3 weeks back and forth with the reservation staff and the booking staff trying to amend our reservation due to transportation delays, and when we arrived THEY STILL HAD IT INCORRECT! It took up to 6 hours to get everything settled and we still did not have satisfactory results.
We booked a jacuzzi beach villa, it was awesome, beautiful view, perfect beach, clear water. Friendly staff, excellent food, amazing weather and marine life, what else would someone need... 10 out of 10 and will visit again.
Awsome
First class as always
One of the best holidays I had. Would definitely come back.
stingy resort - full board doesn't include cappuccino or ice-tea. They only offer black or green tea, which I don't like and no jasmin or strawberry tea. Gala dinner costs 115 $ per person and doesn't include a free glass of champagne, just buffet and water. Food, pasta was often cold and tasteless. Internet is limited to 500MB per day! Trans Maledivian airways cancelled our seaplane and the resort let us wait for hours! in the lobby until they told us that we have to stay for the night! Then hours later they tell us to book our own flight home but forget to mention it should be rescheduled and not new tickets. Now I'm not sure if I get a refund and we are talking about more than 3000 $!! New Year Eve party was awesome. But resort is loud, music till after midnight can be heard 50 villas away from main reception and seaplane land every few hours every day. If you want peace, quiet and a bit more for your money then go somewhere else.
Excellent price quality relationship. Staff very friendly.
Excellent staff very friendly beautiful Island loved snorkeling with turtles
Perfect for a relaxing week. Great food, friendly staff and total holiday experience. Only negatives were WiFi away from the reception was poor. Golf competition chip n pool was charged st $5 for a chance to win a 25$ hat. Kayaks were free but not paddle boards???? All inclusive should be that for non motorised activities. Would still go again.
it was one of the best holidays we have ever had. everything was great
This property was beyond a perfect hide away. We couldn’t have dreamed of a better honey moon. We have traveled to many resorts and countries, this was the best by far. The only aspect we didn’t like was the Male airport (which has nothing to do with the resort) however, everyone must go through that airport before getting to their transportation to their islands. The city of Male is not a place you want to explore, try not to be in the airport longer than you have to. There is no AC, the airport is fully open to the outside and the bathrooms are borderline unusable.
Perfect Holidays
From the first day to the last the experience at Kuredu was flawless. We booked a jacuzzi beach villa and it was amazing... the room 10 meters from your patch or beach with blue clear waters full of different kinds of fish, mantas, turtles... incredible. The food was awesome, every night they have a theme so it's always changing. If you're vegetarian as I am you will be impressed with the choice and labelling of vegetarian food. As with every hotel, there's always room for improvement. You've got a minibar included with the all-inclusive plus package with a choice of soft drinks, water, coffee and white, red and rose wine which is very nice. The problem is that the wine fridge (there are two mini fridges) is at 15C so the white and rose are undrinkable when the ambient temperature feels like 40C. However, you've got several bars around the island with a selection of cocktails and mocktails which are very good. We didn't find that annoying to have a designated restaurant for dinner... however, if you can book in the Sangu area. They do dinner at the beach with candles. Also, if you want to pay and have dinner a la Carta I do recommend the seafood/vegetarian restaurant. They do 50% discount to all-inclusive packages in all dishes and you can have the wine included in the all inclusive so it's not that expensive (40/50$ per person). We also stayed 4 nights at the water villas and found them worse than the beach villa as the water is full of seaweed so not clear.
Staff not naturally friendly unless you make the effort first
Kuredu, 2nd biggest resort in Maldives
My wife and me went with a low expectations but turned out there were couple of good surprises. It was excellent in many ways. Most of the employees are good with a few we met were simply excellent, therefore made our stays very enjoyable. All in all thumbs up to Kuredu and please keep up the excellent work.
Gorgeous Island Resort
We had a wonderful experience at Kuredu. Everything exceeded my expectations. We will definitely return!
Fantastic Family Stay
We were extremely pleased with the overall 7 nights all inclusive stay at Kuredu! We were celebrating our Dad’s 70th birthday and the resort made excellent arrangements for a special lobster dinner at one of their restaurant’s The Beach! The cake, dinner and staff exceeded our expectations! My sister and I enjoyed snorkeling and diving while the rest of our family chilled at the poolside bar where the bartenders are very pleasant and make fabulous cocktails! We had an unpleasant experience with one of the bartenders at the O Bar, which seemed to cater to a senior citizens crowd of mostly Euro guests, who seemed to be favoured over other guests and visitors, but the very next day the management and staff made up for it. Overall a brilliant 5 star recommendation from our 10 persons group!
Kuredu Honeymoon
Kuredu resort offered a beautiful place for a couples holiday, the island was stunning, water clear with lots of fish to look out for. We booked a water villa which was confortable and beautiful to look out to at sunset, mornings and stargazing at night. Bathroom amenities were lacking- no shower cap, no cotton buds, nail file etc usually offered in hotels. The restaurant buffets were good, even though they had themed nights they didnt offer huge varieties and after a week we felt the food was repetative. The all inclusive cocktails were tasty but weak on the alcohol side by using their own branded liquors. White wine was not so good but the wine bottles in the room were great. The bars were fun for the evenings but there were many children in the main bar areas which put more of a family feel to the night life. The Sangu bar was very relaxed but by 12 it was pretty dead. The staff are all very friendly albeit a bit too friendly you sometimes felt they were clingy. We booked a photoshoot which was very professional and the night fishing which was great fun. The free sunset cruise offered was a bit disappointing since we caught the best sunsets from the room and night fishing already. Our room was a 15min walk from main bar/reception which was fine if youre not in a rush since was sometimes very slow. We often gave up waiting and walked in the heat. Free snorkeling lesson i would also recomend but make sure you book every activity early since they book up quick.
Great reef, great value for money experience
Decent food. Good a la carter restaurants. Beautiful island. Great marine centre and excellent house reef
Wow amazing, what a place! I want to go back now!!
Loved our stay, everything was just perfect. You can choose to relax or do their many activities as you wish. Everything is amazing - food drink, rooms, pool, beach, sea plus the excursions and activities. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Also the next island has the under water restaurant, which is definitely an experience.
Had a great time at Kuredu
Beautiful island and nicely managed resort. Look forward to coming back again.
Wonderful resort in paradise location
Once you ignore the fact that a repressive 100% Muslim country is selling an alcohol-soaked, pork-eating hedonistic idyll to wealthy foreigners, Kuredu in the Maldives delivers everything it promises - turquoise seas, golden sands, palm trees and coconuts and fabulous welcoming all-inclusive hospitality. There are a host of water-based activities, mostly for an extra cost, with snorkelling and diving prominent on the offer. There are sailing trips on offer and island-hopping tours, including to a nearby sea turtle sanctuary. The highlight for us was the behind the scenes tour, where we saw the whole enterprise required to make our dreams come true. Guests are shown behind the scenes, seeing the laundry, staff canteens and living areas, water treatment plant, supplies management system, greenhouses etc, while being able to ask any questions of the staff. Over half the staff are Maldivian, including many in the senior management roles, and are paid on the same basis as non-Maldivians. There was an excellent atmosphere among the staff, and it seems that the owners respect the locals (there is a mosque in the team village) and do not exploit them. The fact that there is a behind the scene tour indicates owners who are willing to be accountable for how they are running the resort.
Wonderful Stay
I only stayed a few short days but everything about my experience was wonderful. The vegetarian food option were great. The staff was very friendly and remembered my name after our first meeting. I stayed in a beach villa with jacuzzi tub and it was great as well. There is nothing negative that I have to say about the resort except that the WiFi should be free. It was limited to 500MB per day for free, unlimited for $15 USD per day or $50USD for 5 or 7 days (I forgot which, sorry). Also there is no WiFi in the main bar/entertainment area which has its pros and cons...it’s great if you are there with people because you can disconnect from distractions but I was by myself so I had to choose every night to either connect with my husband or listen to music/partake in events. It would have been nice to do both.
Great Resort- Paradise!
Wife and I went for a vacation here for 4 nights, was a great trip and the staff was extremely helpful and kind. Beatiful resort, nice beaches, crystal clear water. Would recommend to anyone!
Great Spot
My wife and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary at Kuredu. We will have such a memorable time. Staff were so welcoming, food was great and atmosphere superb. Thanks Kuredu Team.
Great trip, the resort was everything we expected. The staff were very helpful and the island is so beautiful.
Dream island in the Maldives with everything there
Second visit to Kuredu, it was amazing once again! Hope to be back again next year. This has got to become a yearly thing for us I think ;-).
O resort peaceful
The beach villas are lovely, the beach bungalows are not as good and in poor location. The O resort is very quiet. The staff are very good. To snorkle the house reef you need to be a good swimmer as there is a current. The food and drinks are very good on the all inclusive.
beautiful resort
Kuredu is a very beautiful resort, everything was superior, we stayed at the beach villa, - koamas # 202, villa was super nice, spacious with outdoor shower, which was nice, we really liked our location, close to everything, jetty noise didn't bother us, actually it was very unique, i woke up every morning around sunrise and enjoyed walking on a white sand beach, we went snorkeling every day, saw many turtles, and many kinds of fish, at nighttime every night, we saw huge, may be 4-6 feet long sharks, many huge mantas, by the pier, we had a very good time!!
All inclusive misleading
We travelled for an EID break for 4 nights from Qatar, as we were with friends we selected the all inclusive package. When we arrived we were told that there were certain bars restaurants and even a pool that we could not use, we couldn't upgrade to their so GOLD package as we only stayed for 4 nights, We asked one of the staff managers how many people were at the resort during our stay, and were told it was 800, he then went on to say there were only that didn't even have cushions, he advised us to get up early and reserve sunbeds with our personal belongings, even though there were signs (rightly so) stating this is not allowed. As we only went for a short break we selected a later flight home in the evening to ensure we got another full day at the resort, we were then told that our only choice of sea plane was leaving at 1pm which meant we had 6 and half hours wait at the airport. I feel we were cheated out of a full day.
Great island and service!
Can't wait till our next visit at Kuredu! :) We would definitely visit again!
Refreshing trip
O restaurant and Sangu are the best. Our experience is highly positive and we strongly recommend it for people wishing to visit the paradise of Maldives with slightly limited budget. From arrival, Sea plane was horrifying but I enjoyed the trip. Sara was waiting for us upon arrival to the resort after 40min trip. She was very welcoming and helpful. The beach is clean with a baby blue color! AMAZING. We had taken all inclusive package which was more than enough including the mocktails on front of the beach from 9am-1am. Pool Sultan Villa was amazing private place. Chef Sam, Hajja and Ilham at O restaurant were very welcoming and attentive. We liked the variety of food (on theme every night). Having a taxi withing the resort is a big advantage although it doesn't transfer the guests except between the 3 main receptions! Housekeeping need improvement as they just arrange bed linens and clean the floor from the sand, they didn't fill the tissue box until we called them to do so. There are many lizards for the people who are lizardophobic! There are many activities and you'll never be bored. I highly recommend the north beach and the east side of the south beach for snorkeling. For swimming the west side of southern beach. For photograph: The sand bank at the west border of the island is the most photogenic. We were lucky to have the sunset cruise in our all inclusive package and we had the chance when we were accompanied by 4-5 dolphins. Weak internet available only in room
Paradise
I had the Sangu water villa with breathtaking view and private deck and steps to the ocean. One of the nice things about these villas is that you can sleep with the doors wide open and have total privacy. For health freaks (strict whole foods vegans), food option is probably not the best. There are lots of veggies like broccoli, string beens and so on but, they always seem to be in buttered form. For strict vegans, one may be limited to just the salad bar. I suspect the chef can accommodate special requests. Also, they must not get many vegans because there seems to be no non-dairy option for coffee or breakfast cereal. Other than the minor issue with food options, the resort is fabulous. If the budget allows, go for the water villa and you won't be disappointed. Also, the beach near the water villas is of the clear and turquoise type. If you dig that, that is another reason for staying at the water villa. Check out google map in Satellite mode and you will see what I mean. If at all possible, make sure you arrive in Male before 4pm. Contact the hotel for the cutoff time as I have seen later flight coming in. But 4 is definitely safe. If you arrive late, you will be stuck overnight at the international airport or go into Male to find a hotel to crash overnight. In any case, that is one less night spent in Paradise. You may want to visit Male, but at least be aware and make the proper arrangements. Cheers
Nice Hotel
Thanks Kuredu Hotel Team members for making our Trip Memorable !!!
Great holiday.
We have been before and both times have thoroughly enjoyed it. Lovely island and even when full there was no crowding or pressure. The staff are fantastic - so helpful. Food great, lots of choice and far too much. Lots of boat, snorkelling and diving trips if required.
Indulgent luxury
We had a lovely relaxing stay. Very windy for 6 days but hot and sunny most of the time.
Great for the $$
Great hotel staff & awesome dive shop.
it is real Paradise!
Kuredu doesn't give a chance to choose other island for the next time. The resort is fantastic, especially if u are staing on water villa (Sangu residents have the best privileges to live near the Split Beach and use all restranes and swimming poolls of the resort, including the privat ones). Most of the Resort staff are kind and friendly, all the time smiling. Programm of island entertainment is a interesting. there are some events during the day. in evening we were listening live music in one of the resort bars. I think that underwater wolrd of the island not so rich. Coral reef was damaged, but u can see a lot of colored fishes of different sizes, even sharks. The most fabulous impression - swiming with turtles (Kuredu resort counts about 40 turtles that live near the island)
A little piece of paradise
Absolutely incredible. This is paradise. Perfect beaches. Lots to do (tennis, water sports, ping pong, spa, biking, etc). The staff are so friendly and seem to enjoy their job!
Stunning island and very helpful staff
Nothing was too much trouble the food was amazing and the rain didn't spoil our holiday
brilliant resort
second time to maldives.this resort was far the best.five star service lots of activities and hreat entertaintment for the whole family
Lovely silver anniversary trip
We booked a water villa for our silver anniversary and everything about our trip was wonderful including tbe candlelight dinner we had on the beach. The staff do everything they can to make your stay special and went the extra mile as it was a special occasion. If you are in a family or group there is plenty of entertainment in the main resort. If you are a honeymooners or prefer a quieter time than you can stick to the child-free Sangu resort. If I had any criticism it would be regarding their wifi policy which limits wifi usage per person. Maybe not that big a deal but it does smack of penny pinching when you look at the nightly rate you are paying.
The reef of this hotel has seen better days!
To be honest this was my least favorite hotel in the Maldives. I have stayed at 8 islands in the last year. The island is too big and you need a golf cart to get around unless you are very fond of walking in 100 degrees heat. You are restricted to a certain pool depending on your room category. The other main problem with this hotel is that they do not refrigerate products like eggs and mayonnaise, and egg based deserts at their buffets. That is a recipe for disaster if you get ill. Sadly the reef at this hotel is very far out and is blanched and dying. Other main problem I had with this hotel is that they only give you 100 megabytes of internet a day so essentially restricted to 45 minutes of internet usage a day or pay their exorbitant daily internet fee. Watch the tides in the ocean they can also be very strong.
Fantastic stay great hotel and staff, the best in the Maldives
Fantastic hotel and service with friendly staff
I went to Kuredu resort for my honeymoon. My room was esp. Decorated and honeymoon tee n drink were provided in my room free of charge. Staff was very friendly and room cleaning was great. 4.5 out of 5
Fantastic place to stay
The whole experience of staying at this resort was fantastic. The staff are so friendly, the grounds are kept very clean, the accommodation was perfect and exceptionally clean, the food was delicious and had a good variety.
Paradise island
Wonderful island with excellent service. Rooms were just great. The extra for the water villas is worth it.
Great if you are poor, have kids, or love cruises
This resort is like a cruise ship. Constant money grab. The condition of the water villas was disappointing and the views and swimming off them were in dark sea grass. Crowd was def middle class including lots of families who would bring their kids and strollers into the bars at night. They screwed us over on seaplane timing and we lost almost a whole day. If you are poor, have a ton of kids, or love cruise ships stay here. Otherwise - you are likely traveling pretty far - splurge on a 5 star resort.
Above expectations
Money is all worth it. This resort is highly recommended. Well trained, accommodating and friendly staffs. Beyond expectations. Perfect stay! definitely to stay in this same hotel if we will return to maldives. Love them!
Perfect Honeymoon
We spend our honeymoon at Kuredu in the honeymoon suite (water villa 550). It was a unforgettable time with very lovely and care taking stuff. Our personal room attendant Wajeeh and our personal waiter Hassan always had an eye on everything so that nothing could be missed.
A Paradisiac Island
We stayed from December 25 to december 28, 2015. Overall experience was excellent, the staff is very friendly and give an excellent service, the facilities are nice and the beach is amazing.
Great resort but beware the "all inclusive"
Resort is lovely, with good facilities including a "house reef" which even unconfident swimmers can snorkel out to. However we found the "all inclusive" approach quite depressing - there are so many rules & regulations we felt constantly conned out of money. Make sure to book the 'included' activities as soon as you arrive, or else you may find them mysteriously "fully booked" (though of course you can still pay to do them). This feels like a place where Management have decided to increase their profits by squeezing margins, which is a shame as the island & resort are great.
amazing place we loved it! everyone is so nice, we took the all inclusive
Nice resort with good accomodation
I would recommend this resort to anyone who wants to go on holoday with other half and have romantic holiday. Take a bit if cash for excursions and dinning "out" as it is worth it. Definietly go to Francos and The Beach. Take your snorkelling kit with you, rent costs $9 per set per day or you can buy one in the shop and the price is between $49-$90.
Lots of activities - book early!
The snorkelling is fantastic - very well organised. With only a few days stay we did miss out on activities due to already fully booked, or were not available each day. The weather was very hot - which did not suit all the available activities but you do have lots to choose from. Our bags arrived 5 hours after us. We were unable to change out of travel clothes, having come from 0C deg. or swim, an afternoon wasted. The bags arrived at our room 7:30pm. (we were told they would arrive 2 hours after us, which we were OK with)
This place is amazing. Stunning scenery, great accommodation and the staff make you feel so welcome
Paradise Island
Comfortable villas directly on soft white sand, leading to turquoise ocean. Sandy paths, leading to sand floored restaurant - no need for shoes. Excellent food and charming staff who cannot do enough for you. Plenty to do, pool, diving, snorkeling, spa, tennis, golf etc but mostly just relax.
Great location
a good SPA salon, interesting diving. Good a big game(fishing)
Don't hesitate, book your holiday here!!
Welcome to paradise. From the moment you board the seaplane at Male' you're in a different world. Everything in our holiday has been perfect. We were looked after by our great host, but everyone else also has always been very kind, smiley and helpful to us. We stayed in a beach bungalow, which was great for our needs and very clean. Staff really go the extra mile to make you feel relaxed and in paradise, well done Kuredu!
Kuredu Resort - fortnight in paradise
Kuredu is a very large resorts, and unlikely you can get bored as there are so many activities. Guest nationality is British, German, Russian, other European with some Asians and hardly anyone from The Americas. Organization is excellent and everything runs like a Swiss watch. Food in the buffet restruants is above average - good job on the fresh pasta, grilled fish and meat, salad bar and a brilliant desert table. The only negative was the cheese table featured processed cheeses - really out of place with the quality of the rest of the meals. They advertise free internet but that is only for 100MB per day, which is not enough to allow even casual browsing. So expect to pay an extra $20 per day for lousy Internet. The scuba diving is a mix of the usual easy outreef and giri dives and the more difficult dives located at the corners of channels that slice their way through the atoll. In the right (fast) currents, these channel dives are where you will get the most shark action. And in fact I did get to see one Tiger Shark, which is a rare and special experience. If you like the harder dives, big fish, big currents, you are better off with the men dive guides - the women dive guides are too conservative and you likely won't have many good dives, particularly if you like diving close to edges of your dive computer. Scootering is popular and a good choice to experience the big canyon dives. The par 3 golf course is interesting.
Lovely remote island vacation
The moment you land in Male you are treated to great customer service, greeted by a rep on arrival and whisked away to the sea plane private lounge. The short flight is noisy but comes with exceptional views and a great experience... Once in the resort you are presented with a welcome group playing drums and clapping you in... Then a refreshing drink whilst the paperwork is handled... Shortly after check in you are taken to your room by cart and the holiday begins. There are ample restaurants aside from the all inclusive buffets and everyone you meet greets you with a smile and hello... Including the staff tending to the islands scenic landscape. I'd strongly recommend the resort based on customer service alone, and the fact you sit in paradise all day!!
Perfect
It was the best memory in our life. The resort is very beautiful with nice staffs and good service. Anyway I still hope to have more asian food in the buffet menu.
Paradise!
The place is amazing. The staff, the installations, the room, the restaurants, the people, the beach, everything about this island is perfect. Even though we did not use the golf, or volley ball courts, or soccer courts, it was nice entertaining the idea of possibly doing an activity. I cant wait to go back. As far as where to stay, it does not really matter since eventually you will go to all the beaches, all the pools and explore the island. I do not think there is a bad place to stay. We did not know what to expect, but upon arriving the attention to detail was excellent and those minor details made our stay there that much better.
Overpriced
beautiful stay but avoid christmas holidays : everything is overpriced hidden costs like seaplane (700$ for a couple) / new year's eve sucks (270$) / free Wifi only till 100 M per day ... It would have been a dream holiday at 250$ / night
Island getaway
Repeat visit to this fantastic island and again I can't fault this place . It's everything you need for an island holiday .Went diving this year and it's a must for any Maldives holiday as its another world waiting for you to discover and the Pro Dive center were brilliant and professional. The repeater party was an eye opener as I didn't realize the amount of people that have returned each year is increasing that must tell you something good is happening at Kuredu .Good job Ken and the team . I'll be back soon.
The F&B Staff makes this resort!
The islands of the Maldives are replete with beautiful resorts - all with gorgeous white sand beaches and turquoise seas. I think it is also safe to say that the resorts in the Maldives generally have well-appointed comfortable rooms, beautiful resort facilities such as pools and a plethora of water activities. I have been to a few resorts and what made Kuredu stand out for me was… its Food & Beverage Operations – the resort’s restaurants and bars, and most significantly, the staff at these facilities! Every one of my breakfasts, lunches, dinners and drink-stops at Kuredu were all fantastic experiences thanks to the friendly staff and to the quality of the food & drink. I have never been made feel so welcome and at home at any other resort in the Maldives! I would specifically commend the bartenders at the main Pool Bar, who seemed to know every customer personally and were coming up with magical cocktails to suite every palate. On the food side, I usually do not think much of buffets, but the four chefs at the Bonthi restaurant made every dinner an exceptional treat! Kuredu is quite a large resort but an extremely well-organized operation with good rooms and no end to activities and experiences. But again, all these exist in almost every resort throughout the Maldives, so what impressed me the most about Kuredu were the restaurants and bars and the staff that made the experience so special.
Dream Honeymoon
My husband and I spent 14 nights at this amazing resort. We were in a O Beach Villa and we loved it! It feels like having a private beach for yourself, the room are cleaned twice a day and everyone is happy to help. We were also pleasently surprised by the buffet restaurant, food is excellent and changes everyday. The a-la-carte restaurant The Beach serves super tasty dishes too. Some friends told us two weeks at the Maldives were too much and we would have find it boring, but between chilling on the beach, snorkling around the resort (we saw so many fishes and two turtles!!) and doing some boat trip we didn't have time to be bored!
Picturesque resort
A Very nice resort. Everything you need is provided, the resort has a wide selection of average food. It is very entertaining with a number of excursions and on resort entertainment. we stayed in the jacuzzi Villa and it is exactly what it says on the website, beautiful. Do not bring too many shoes because everybody walks around barefooted. If you wish to upgrade do it before arriving at the resort

Our honeymoon at Kuredu exceeded all expectations, ranking among our most cherished travel experiences alongside our adventurous backpacking trips through Thailand and the Philippines. We were fortunate to receive a complimentary upgrade to one of the exquisite water villas, which granted us access to the exclusive Sangu restaurant. The private dining experience at Sangu was absolutely exceptional and would be worth every penny of the upgrade (thankfully we didn’t pay). While I typically prefer exploring new destinations rather than returning to the same place, Kuredu has completely won me over - it's the rare resort that I would gladly revisit!
