Nice hotel with a great location for Kruger park. Staff was helpful.

Very comfortable. Quiet.

Excellent for our brief stay

Only a brief overnight stay en-route to the Kruger Park so didn't see much of it or use the facilities outside the chalet. What we did see was excellent and we would return. Spacious 2 bedroom chalet with river view, bathrooms good and beds comfortable.

I liked the property but the restaurant close early

Great stay!

I stayed 2-room chalet for 1 night with my friends. The staffs are helpful and friendly. What really surprised me is that the view outside our chalet by the river. It is also fantastic that the space is big with living room and kitchen. Staying here means you can enjoy the time before and after visiting Kruger for sure. There are swimming pools and a restaurant. Near gas station and Kruger gate. Highly recommended for everyone!

Very clean 👌

Beautiful views

Beautiful property. The only issue was that there was no water. The city apparently had the water off to do repairs. It came on in the middle of the night. I took a shower in the morning and the water was brown! Yuck. The beautiful young lady who checked us in could not have been nicer. I would stay there again! As long as the water was on!

Happy but can improve

The resort is absolutely amazing. Happy with the staff and service was great. The bedding was really old and worn out, sheets had holes, mattress was really worn out and uncomfortable. The blanket supplied was rather dirty and I asked for it to be cleaned which they did well. The overall cabin was ok but needs maintenance to make it an excellent venue.

Excellent stay!

I had a very pleasant stay at Kruger View chalets - the unit was well-appointed with everything I needed in the kitchen and the air-conditioner in the bedroom made a huge difference on the hot summer days. The only very minor issue I had was that the lounge does not have an air-conditioner - it does have a fan but all this does is to blow the hot air collected under the thatch roof down into the lounge area. The bedroom's air-conditioner was pointed towards the lounge though so with the bedroom door left open, this did eventually cool down the lounge area a bit. This is really quite minor though and I really enjoyed my stay. The river frontage and small viewing deck allows for great birding inside the property and although I didn't use the pool, it looked very inviting. I'd happily stay here again in future.

We stayed in a chalet with an exquisite view overlooking the Crocodile River

Great location

Great location. Our chalet was right at the riverside, which was fantastic. We witnessed elephants and lions roaming the riverbed. The chalet itself was ok. It could do with some modernisation. Overall a great stay.

Enjoyed the open space. Stayed in one of the single cabins. Seems that exterior green space could use some landscaping. Security seemed a bit lacking as this is South Africa, though staff assured that it was okay. Seems that the two bedroom cabins closer to the river are the nicest rooms.

Perfect base to explore Kruger Park

Kruger View Chalets are modern efficiency units right on the Crocodile River. There are lovely sitting areas and the pool was much appreciated. We also walked (200m) to The Deck restaurant at the Rio Brava Hotel next door several times for awesome meals. I've already signed up for another week next year.

Excellent value for the money

Very good and conveniente location, in the proximity of Malelane Kruger Gate. We spent a night in a 4 beds apartment, before entering in Kruger park in the early morning. Our stay was limited to the overnight sleep over before our safari, therefore we could not enjoy the lodge in all its potentiality. The rooms are wide and clean, with a common kitchen area and an outdoor patio with brai. The complex has a wide garden with swimming pool and a deck overlooking the river and Kruger Park. It is an excellent location at a very contained cost.

Nice but some issues

The room was nicely decorated and clean. Grounds were attractive and reception was quick and pleasant. However the walls are very thin in the attached rooms and neighbors were easily heard even when speaking normally.The" View" of Kruger is of the tops of the hills. There are detached cottages available and these seemed nice and would avoid the noise issue. We were given great service and although no restaurant on the grounds, we were directed to a very good one within easy (and pretty) walking distance. If staying again, I would not choose an attached unit.

As usual... and top assistance!

Previously I've made some comments about the quality of the locks in Kruger View Chalets Units. This time, in my friends unit, it worked fine! Maybe too much, and he found himself outside the unit with the keys inside in the middle of the night. Is that a problem? No. Not with the excellent staff of Kruger View Chalets. We've ask the security guard to helps out on that matter, and minutes later there was some one with an extra key to help us. Thank you very much!.

Another stay at Kruger View Chalets...

As usual. Everything went has planned. Had dinner at the restaurant (The Deck), as usual, and the service and the food was provided the quality that I am already used too at this Lodge. Had a visit from a elephant while dining. Great place to relax.

Awesome

Amazing property! Loved the scenery, the pool and the chalet! Only down side is that there is not many restaurants or stores around so a car is a must. Worth it though for the river viewing and all of the wildlife.

An excellent base for trips into the Kruger Nation

I booked to stay at The Kruger View Chalets for two weeks. As I was travelling solo I only needed one of the smaller chalets. This was plenty big enough for a couple. The whole chalet was cleAn and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with pots, pans and utensils. Including microwave, roaster and kettle. There was a four ring hob, no oven. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a sink, shower, and toilet. The shower had good pressure and hot water. The chalet was cleaned daily and linen and towels changed regularly. The staff were friendly and helpful and were able to book guided trips into the Kruger. I only used one of the two swimming pools but it was clean with plenty of sun loungers and places to sit in the shade. There are two viewing decks where you can go to watch the animals using the river. You are literally on the edge of the Krug, so you may see anything. I saw elephants, hippopotamus, antelopes etc. The establishment does not have a restaurant but The Deck bar and restaurant is 2 or 3 minutes walk and serves excellent food at reasonable prices. You may need to book for dinner. I will use the Kruger View Chalets again and have no problem in recommending them.

Was great, would prefer the rooms facing the Crocodile River next time with friends but the comfert rooms was really comfortable, aircon included, and braai facilities...

Dit was de 4e keer dat we hier verbleven. Omdat we slechts met 2 waren, hadden we gekozen voor de 2 persoons cabin met keuken. Deze was heel schoon, bed sliep heerlijk en in de keuken stonden voldoende spullen. Helaas vonden we de plastic stoeltjes op het terras niet comfortabel en wordt de cabin heel heet op een zeer warme dag. Volgende keer nemen we weer een huisje met 2 slaapkamers. De luxe hiervan weegt tegen de hogere prijs op. Binnen een jaar een mooi nieuw zwembad met bar en sportfaciliteiten toegevoegd. Fantastisch! We komen zeker terug

confortável e bem localizado

O chalé é muito confortável, com tudo o que se precisa para refeições lá mesmo. Internet ótima e localização excelente. Pouquíssimos km distante do Portão do Kruger e também com supermercados e restaurantes próximos. Se der sorte, ainda é possível avistar alguns animais.

Heerlijk bed en de houten chalet heeft alles wat je maar nodig hebt. Zeer netjes. En aan de overkant het Krugerpark. Prachtig uitzicht

Oase der Ruhe am Crocodile River

Wir haben die Kruger View Chalets anstatt der Unterkünfte im Krüger Park gewählt und waren hoch zufrieden. Die Chalets, direkt am Corcodile River gelegen, verfügen über zwei Schlafzimmer und eine komplette Küchenausstattung, wer nicht selber kochen will, kann sich des Terrassen-Restaurants bedienen. Die angebotenen Speisen und Getränke sind ebenso zufriedenstellend wie die freundlichen der Bedienungen, des Reception Personals und des Managements. Die Pavillons im Garten der Hotelanlage eignen sich der Beobachtung von Elefanten, Wasserböcken, Impalas, Wasservögeln, etc.

Très bon séjour

Très bel appartement, confortable, spatieux et superbe vue sur le parc et la piscins. Nous avons beaucoup aimé la terrasse au dessus de la rivière avec vue sur la savane environnante. (avec un peu de patience nous avons vu un hippoppotame); Je conseille le restaurant à l'entrée qui a de l'excellente viande.

English Below - O lugar superou minhas expectativas. Limpo, organizado, bonito, confortável e funcional. O chalé é grande, tem uma sala/cozinha ótima e toda equipada. Tem vista para o Kruger. se der sorte da pra ver alguns animais. Além de tudo o portão de Malelane é ótimo para quem quer fazer safari no Kruger. O caminho de Malelane para o Crocodilo Bridge sempre tem muito animal para avistamento. The place exceeded my expectations. Clean, organized, beautiful, comfortable and functional. The chalet is large, has a great room/kitchen and is fully equipped. It overlooks the Kruger. In addition the Malelane gate is great for anyone who wants to do safari in Kruger. Malelane's path to the Crocodile Bridge always has lots of animals for sighting.

Superbe vue!

Superbe vue sur le Kruger où l'on peut voir quelques animaux venir s'abreuver autour du fleuve. Très bon restaurant juste à côté (on peut facilement y aller à pied). Une étape parfaite avant une journée au Kruger!

passable pour un court séjour

bungalow pratique et bien équipé. très bien situé pour visiter le kruger park. 2 points négatifs : - une usine à proximité qui crée un bruit de fond important. Le bungalow n'étant pas bien isolé, on entend le bruit même les fenêtres fermées. - la literie pas de bonne qualité
