Such a great location, staff was very nice and helpful. When I needed a conversion plug she had one for me to use. There’s an area on one of the floors if you want to sit down and eat and get water. Other stays went for more than double the price and didn’t offer more than just a bed. Definitely will be back!

Staff are great. Especially the cleaning ladies. However, the air ducts must be cleaned. Air conditioner smells musty.

I give all rate excellent because im not that serious about the bathroom and the size of the room. Overall, what if i travel to South Korea again i am going to book this hotel again.

Initially I thought the location was kind of scary for women who were travelling alone but that’s not the case. It’s in the back of the busy street there were no noise at all at night. I felt very safe in the area. The staff were amazing, for the price, they do so much more than the pricey places. Each floor had their own kitchen and laundry (no dryer, I hanged my laundry in my room 😂), I had a lovely view of Namsan Tower from our kitchen. Will come back again

The place was a bit hard to find but the location is really good as it is in the middle of the shops and restaurants in Myeongdong. The place was clean though small, it is good for 2 people only. The staffs were really accomodating and generous. They let us borrow their adaptors for free and let us stay in the pantry after check-out. This place is really good especially with its budget friendly price.

Finding the hotel may be difficult at first but the location is close and walking distance to everything. The walls are thin but you get use to it with time.

Wasn’t too happy about my stay here. Only good thing was the location. First I check in which is on the second floor. Received a code which is the same for floors 3-5. Once you get to your floor by elevator or stairs, there’s cupboards where they ask you to put your shoes in but they do not lock. There is a electronic lock system attached to the door where you enter the code provided. My floor wasn’t locked during my 2 days I was there for some strange reason. I went downstairs to ask if there’s a phone I can use as I didn’t want to get charged long distance. One receptionist was a little helpful but didn’t give me a phone to use. Instead she typed the number on my phone. Pretty sure I got charged long distance. I came back down to ask another question but she had left for home and so I had another employee at the desk. I asked if he spoke english and he replied “No, I’m Korean” and giggled and continued doing whatever he was doing on his computer. I didn’t feel like he wanted to even try to help. Overall, I would not recommend this place. You definitely get what you pay for.

Nice stay

The beds are too small and very hard and discomforting. The rooms are shoe boxes. You cannot move around. The bathrooms are so small that the shower wets the entire toilet. Breakfast is bare minimal. Only cereal. Biggest issue was quality of bed mattress. It gave us pain to sleep on those. Not enough electrical outlets. You cannot charge you phones etc. Towels were 1 feet by 1 feet. More like hand size towel.

Comfortable hotel

Simple hotel in the centre of the shopping district.

The location is near the subway and is within the myeongdong shopping area. The room is not spacious, so you have to take turns in opening the luggages.

Hotel with a good location

Fantastic location in MyeongDong, in the midst of all the shopping and walking distance to the subway. However, extremely tiny room & bathroom. Ideal for travel w/o.

Convenient Area

This hotel is in an amazing area, and I spent hours walking around Myeongdong eating street food and looking at all of the shops. It is also close to a Seoul Metro station, so you can easily get around the city. It can be a little hard to find, as it is down an alleyway, and while the room is small is it very nice!

Very friendly and serviceable staff that had no problem helping with useful information. Amazing location which is in the middle of great street food and shops. Would go again and stay my gratitude

Hidden Gem

The single room i stayed in was better than what it should have been for. With the great location, literally in the biggest shopping district and home to the greatest street food, it is what any tourist could ask for. Receptionist was also nice and can speak English. There's also room cleaning service on request which is really convenient. Although it took me a while to find the place, once you mark "Royal Hotel" which is right next door, it will be simple. There are also two convenient train lines in either directions. Although the room I stayed had no heating aircon (just cold) the floor was heated which was enough to stay warm.

Excellent Location for shopping and dining.

Hotel is easily located with clear direction by hotel staff. Some restaurants are still open when we arrived after 12 midnight. Nice and helpful staff and even the cleaning lady is enthusiastic to offer help. We lived in a 4~person room with 2 double ~deck beds. The ceiling is so low that sleeping on the upper deck is a pain when you want to sit straight. However, the room size is good enough for us with 2 big suitcases etc. The toilet is small with the shower together. The toilet is all wet after shower and no space to keep changing clothes. Water is leaked outside as the door is not tightly closed. In view of the price and location, I consider this a good choice.

Solo traveller's choice

The staff at front desk were very helpful and friendly during my stay there. Room and kitchen cleanliness is gd.It will be even better if single room space is slightly bigger so that after opening the luggage I can still move about.

Seoul of the City

The hotel was in good condition and was perfect for the tourist stay we were on. Very close to Seoul Tower, and great location within Myeongdong. Definitely recommend!

Very helpful hosts and conveniently located

We arrived at K-Pop Residence ahead of the check-in time, the ladies at the reception have been very helpful and kind by offering us a room immediately. They have explained the "guest rules" clearly hence we know exactly what we are expect in regards to housekeeping, changing of bedsheets and towels as well as check-out time. All is fair and square. The room is roomy as compare to the other Goodstay hotels we used to stay. Our stay just went without incident. On the day we check out, since our flight is in the late evening, our hosts have offered to keep our luggages at the counter so that we can still roam around the city for a few more hours before heading off to the airport without charge which is much appreciated. Will stay again during our next visit.

MAKE SURE NOT TO LEAVE ANYTHING BEHIND!!!

Hotel was ok. Just a place to stay for the night. OK location, near the Myeongdong station. Bathroom was only separated by a glass divider and not a proper door. You have to leave your shoes before you go to the area where the rooms are (which is kind of a hassle). We stayed for 6 days and asked for housekeeping in the middle of our stay but they only changed the soaps, gave a new roll of tissue. They also took out the trash but did not do a good job of doing so because there was still trash left on the floor. DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING BEHIND BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT RETURN IT TO YOU!!!! We did late checkout and as we were about to check out, the housekeeping ahjumma was also about to enter the room. After getting done with check out (took us about 5 minutes only), I realized I left something in the room. It was a box of a souvenir and a box of brownies. I asked the ahjumma cleaning the room but she said that I did not leave anything. I rummaged through her trash bag (outside the room) and saw the box of the souvenir (one side was torn apart already) but not the brownies. It turned out that she was eating it already inside the room while I was rummaging outside. Discussed this with front desk but they just said that it was a mistake because guests leave boxes like those all the time. They did apologize for it though.

Excellent

The economic twin room that I booked is slightly larger than I expected. Haha. It is just enough for my sister and I. With that price which is comparable to dorm for two persons, we can get a room and small private bathroom, and furthermore it is located at the heart of myeongdong. I really felt lucky, especially it was during winter when I stayed there. The girl in the front desk is also very helpful, even though I requested for late check-in last minute, she purposely stayed back to wait for me. In one word, I am very satisfied! I would recommend it to my friends as well.

Family holidays

Location wise no complain but room really too small, no space to put your luggage if you have big luggage. For backpacker it is ok.

Great location, in the heart of the shopping streets, restaurants offering must-try Korean cuisine and street food! V friendly and helpful staff, for directions and recommendations on where to go! V small rooms, opening yr luggages and laying them out might be a challenge. Clean rooms though, gd wifi connection. Thanks for the gd stay!

Extremely convenient location at a reasonable price.

Hard to find at first but convenient.

Would have liked better instructions to get there cause it's really hard to find the first time. Also a little more storage soace is needed but overall it is convenient and good value for price.

Perfect for short stays

This was a perfect place to stash stuff over the weekend in between seeing Seoul. The room was tiny, but we didn't need it to be any bigger, and the customer service was excellent (all the staff spoke great English). A great bargain for the price; we would certainly stay here again.

Convenient

It is located in MyeongDong, good for shopping. Located near 2 subway stations. The staffs are nice and friendly. Room is neat and clean. Have a great stay there. It has lift, good for me when i carry a lot of things.

Good place to stay, very centrical

K-Pop Residence is well located in the heart of Myeong Dong, I had some difficulties to find where it was, but I'm happy with my staying there. The room was small but clean and I had everything I needed.

Surprising experience

I really enjoyed the days that I spent in the K-pop hotel. My room was really very small, but the location, cleanliness and price outweigh the lack of space. Furthermore, all the people there speak English so it was easy to ask for advice. The only observation that I have may be that it is a little difficult to get there, so I had to call the hotel to get detail instructions. It has nothing to do with the hotel, but if you are going as part of a group you could rent a cell phone in the airport. It only cost approximately 3 dollars.

great location

we occupied the triple sharing room with one bunk bed and a double deck bed. the room was quite small but it was ok for a backpacker type of trip and anyway we didnt stay in the hotel as much, we leave early and tour around then go back around midnight to wash up and sleep. the room was very clean and so were the sheets and stuff. the bathroom was small but functional. although i didnt like that it's wall was made up of glass, although it was the smoked type, you could still pretty much see the silhouette of the person taking a bath inside- quite uncomfortable for your companions. but nonetheless, it was a good value for the price since it already included breakfast and the location was perfect; right in the middle of myeong-dong where food and shopping is just within a couple of steps away.

Not recommended for travel. Think twice not too.

First day they decided to upgrade a smaller room. Lady at the front desk complaint about the credit card, made unnecessary remarks about the platinum card and credit. Customer from another room speaking to the guest about the living rules and conditions?

4回目の利用です。明洞の中心にあるので、とても便利です。真冬の極寒でも部屋の中はあたたかくて快適でした。値段も手頃で清潔感もあり、他の宿泊者たちのマナーも良く静かに過ごせました。

チェックアウトの日にフロントに荷物を 預けられる。共有スペースでお湯を入れられる。など値段に対してサービスが豊富である。 部屋の多少の汚さもこの安さなら気にならない程度。

ホテルの前が工事中で、騒音がひどかった。ホテル前の道もガタガタで危険。ホテル内はランドリー、電子レンジ、ウォーターサーバーがあり便利です。部屋も広くて快適。

この金額ならまた利用したいと思うくらい

ベッドカバーなど寝具にシミが付いていて、買い換えたらいいのにと思いました。 402号室に2泊。 施設が古いのでお湯が出にくい。お手洗いのすぐ上にシャワーがある韓国タイプだったので、もともとシャワーすら浴びない予定で風呂に入らなくて正解でした！ シャワー浴びても浴びなくても、日本人の方はタオルペーパーとかキッチンタオルを持っていくといいです！何かと手せまですし動線など考えられてない造りなので、水が飛んだりしますから。 タオル歯ブラシはは用意あり。 掃除は比較的行き届いてます。 最終日フロントで荷物をあずけましたが、先に預けた宿泊者の荷物ぎ盗める場所に置かれており自分も同じく。残念です。 施設の場所が非常に分かりにくい。何か案内があってもよいのでは。

立地の価格のコスパが最高。

歯ブラシを置いていてくれたので嬉しかった。シャワーヘッドの止める部分が固定されていないのですぐ外れてしまいいろんなところにお湯がかかった。改善点はこれ一つだけ。

明洞界隈に行くならオススメだが、清潔さなど宿舎への要望が強い方はオススメできない。

深夜まで明洞の繁華街を楽しむには最高の立地です。バスルームはとても狭いですが、銭湯を利用するので承知の上で行きました。 スーツケースを広げられないくらいの床スペースです。 使いませんでしたが、共有スペースのランドリーやキッチンがあります。

明洞站8號出口，左手邊 Olive Young 街口直行約 5 分鐘，右手邊看到 Missha 店小行入面便是。 下樓便是明洞購物飲食非常方便。 房間細小但乾淨，適合單人旅行人士。

明洞のど真ん中という立地を考えればとても安価。ただし、設備は最低限。

過剰なサービスは不要で清潔な部屋で寝られれば良いので、あのお得な価格でこのお部屋なら大満足です。明洞内ならばどこへ行くにも便利。

このお値段でこの立地なら文句は言えないです。 スタッフは英語が話せます。 アメニティは、ボディーソープ、シャンプー、歯ブラシ、フェイスタオル2枚でした。 エアコンは冷房は使うことが出来ますが、暖房はセントラル管理です。 エアコンのリモコンの反応が悪く、何度もボタンを押す必要がありました。 Wi-Fiはあります。電源が切れていたのでコンセントをさして電源を入れる必要がありました。 シャワーを気をつけて浴びたつもりですが、ガラスドアから水が漏れて、外の床に水たまりができました。 清掃、タオル交換はして頂けました。 ウォーターサーバー、洗濯機が、共同使用できるようです。今回は使用していません。

グレードアップしてくれて広めのお部屋にしてくれました！こんなお部屋もあったのかと、快適に過ごせました。ゲストハウスなので、若干狭かったり、シャワートイレがくっつきすぎでシャワーするとトイレが濡れたりという不便はありますが、寝るだけなので十分です。前はなかった下にチゲ鍋レストランできていて遅く帰ってきて疲れている時に1人でも入れてべんりでした。 ホテルは、気に入ってます！初めて利用だとちょっとわかりずらい路地入っていくので戸惑いますが、一度わかると便利です！

明洞のオリヤン近く、立地最高ホテルです

明洞の一番大きいオリーブヤングの近くです。コンビニのＣＵも近くに有り便利です。 ホテルもエレベーターが有り2階で受付をして3.4.5.階に部屋が有ります。部屋も廊下も綺麗です。エアコンもちゃんと清掃されており、においも無く快適でした。 TVは清掃スタッフに確認して頂きましたが、映ませんでした。たまたま僕の部屋だけ？ 立地はめっちゃ良いです、リピートしたいホテルです。

明洞付近で値段が安かったので良かったです。雨がすごく降ったのでしょうがないのかもしれませんが、天井から雨漏りしました。帰る日の朝だったので良かったのですが、初日だったらどうなっていたのか、と思うと不安です。

シングルを予約していましたが、アップグレードしてくれてダブルの部屋に泊まらせていただきました。明洞ど真ん中で活気があり、夜でも歩きやすい場所で行動しやすかったです。スタッフのお姉さまも気さくで感じが良かったです。またぜひ利用したいです。

綺麗さは無いですが、必要十分でした

汚いです！ シーツが特に汚れがついています。 血は流石に不快でした… 廊下にあるシーツを取り交換しましたが全て汚れています。 シーツ、枕カバーくらいきちんと洗って欲しい。 水洗い？と思うほどでした。

安くて便利なホテル

明洞の繁華街の路地を入った所にあるので、買い物にも食事にも便利です。 寝るだけなら、清潔で快適です。 シャワールームは無いので、トイレと洗面所のスペースでシャワーを浴びることになりますが(^^;A 雨が降って来たら、直ぐに「傘は持ってますか？」と聞いてくれて貸してくれて助かりました。 チェックアウトが11時なのも有難いです。

値段と内容が相違しすぎ。

エアコンが臭かった

アメニティもあり、お部屋は綺麗でした。エレベーターもあるので、荷物があっても困りません。受付の人も日本語は話せませんでしたが、英語は大丈夫です。シャワーはトイレと同じですが、狭すぎて使うことは出来ません。シャワーは使用せず、スパに行くなら、お買い物や地下鉄にも便利なので良い立地です。

オリーブヤングタウン店の近くでアクセスはいい。口コミであった狭さと合宿所のような部屋で寝るだけならOK

シャワーとトイレが一緒なのは仕方ないが、余りにも狭過ぎる。寝るだけのホテルとして利用するならば、良いと思います。特別何かを求めるホテルではない。安さならグットです。

お風呂はびっくりするほど狭いですが、街中にあって、すぐ街に繰り出せます！

明洞にはすぐ近くて便利だけど 洗面台　トイレ　シャワーが一緒で半畳くらい 狭すぎる 暖房もなくて寒すぎ 寝るだけやしと思って安いホテル選んだけど 布団もペラペラで凍死しそうだった

ツインベットルームです。まぁ狭いのは写真で分かっていたので大丈夫です。洗面室は便器と洗面の間にシャワーがあり、両腕を横に伸ばせられない狭さで、直ぐ背後に半透明の硝子ドアがあるので太い人はかなり狭いかも。シャワーも温水も普通に出ます。バスタオルは無くフェイスタオルのみですが、受付に予備のフェイスタオルが置いてあるのでそれを勝手に使いました。 行く時期によりますが、明洞とはいえ、この狭い部屋ではやはり高いので通年5000円だと嬉しいです。 スタッフのかたは塩対応ではありませんでした。

明洞中心地なので交通手段や買い物にとても便利です。格安なので部屋は狭いです。シャワーとトイレが一緒で狭いです。キッチンとウォーターサーバーはあります。

Sadece konum iyi

3 kişilik odada annem ve teyzem ile 3 gece kaldık. Odalar oldukça küçüktü bu kadarını beklemiyorduk. İçeride garip bir koku vardı. Banyodaki havlularda sadece küçükler vardı. Mutfak ve suya erişim sadece 2 katta var odanız bu katlarda değilse biraz sıkıntı oluyor. Gecenin bir vakti su bile almak için terlik ayakkabı değiştirip buraya gitmek gerekiyor. Bunların dışında konum olarak ha-ri-ka ydı. Her yere kolaylıkla ulaşım sağlayabildik

ミョンドンの中にあるホテルです！買い物や食べるものにも便利です！夜の出店にもすぐ行けますし‼️駅も近いです！ホテルもせいけつで静かでお水やお湯が出る機械が各階にありますしスティックのコーヒーも置いてくれてます❗スタッフさんは日本語ほとんど出来なかったですが　携帯電話の翻訳機で意志疎通出来ます！昨年と今回と二回泊まりましたが部屋は広かったですし清潔でしたミョンドンに泊まるときはまた　泊まりたいです

明洞の通りを入ったところにあり、外はうるさく感じませんでした。壁が薄いので周りの音はたまに聞こえます。 エレベーターがあるのでスーツケースでも持ち運びはしやすいかと思います。シャワーの水圧は弱めでしたが使えなくはなかったです。
