3 days in Laoag

Very happy with our time at Java beautiful facility and amazing young staff. hard to find better in the Region

The hotel itself is nice. Rooms spacious but a bit dark and noisy by the road and garage. Staff on reception very helpful. Restaurant service was poor and food expensive and not great. Pool is nice but needs sunbeds

Quiet and friendly staff

Hotel is neighbors with lots of dogs, constantly barking. In the morning at 3am for an hour barking!! Then the hotel had an event party and they played loud music, screaming yelling till 10pm.

The hotel is located right behind a gas station not shown on picture of the hotel has open hallways and reception is right at the foot step of the gas station you can smell the gas fumes through out the hallways or as soon as I stepped out of your room no elevator on phase 1 area the room we stayed is outdated no electrical outlets for devices other than tv and coffee maker we only stayed 1 night had to make another arrangement some place else I give java hotel 2 stars.if you decide to make arrangement avoid phase 1 area at all cost

I love the Java Hotel. I have stayed here numerous times now and will definitely return. We enjoyed an amazing meal.at the Eagles Nest with live music last evening. Jayson Clemente again did an outstanding job of getting us to experience the Paoay sand dunes this visit and it was a memorable experience. I will return to this location again and utilize Jayson to help my stay be a memorable one. The entire staff here is exceptional. Life's blessings.

The staff at the Java hotel are very kind and cater to your every need. The food in the Eagles Nest is excellent. The Eagles Nest also has live music on some evenings as well.The driver I hire from the hotel Jason Clemente is the best I have had at any hotel. Jason has knowledge of great locations for sight seeing and activities near and far. Jason is a valuable asset to the Java Hotel and has made my experiences in Laoag memorable every time I stay at the Java Hotel.

The hotel had an ongoing construction project. The room was clean and comfortorable, but a little run down. The shower was very difficult to climb in and out of. Totally unsuitable for elderly visitors.

This hotel is currently under heavy construction. Our balcony overlooked the ugly construction site. Our bathroom shower had this incredibly difficult step up to get in the bath. Totally not suitable for older visitors like us.

Other than the construction they are doing adding a new addition. Lots of noise early when your trying to sleep. We had a great time and love the hotel. Great looking hotel. Nice pool. Free breakfast. Very friendly staff. Would deffinately return aftercthe new addition is finished

We had a great stay just for 1 night. Beds are comfortable the only downside was no elevator.

Our home away from home

We have been visiting Laoag and the surrounding area annually for nine years. Java Hotel is the best resort to stay. You feel safe, staff is exceptional, food is amazing at their restaurant Eagle’s Nest, and the property is very clean. I just wish they would upgrade their gym

The property is kind of old but clean and the room is roomy. The staff are super nice. The food at the restaurant is good. I think the only drawback is the limited parking space because the hotel is infront of a gas station.

Hotel is easy to find and aPWD access. Reasonable price of lodging and food.

Would have been five stars except for the dim lighting in the room, especially the bathroom. The shower floor is a little slippery and no shower mat. I was afraid I might slip. Staff though are very friendly and courteous.

This is a great hotel with a lot of character. Beautifully designed. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean. It’s a little bit outside the city but in a nice area. Overall a very good stay. We had a mixed experience at the restaurant. One night good, one night bad.

This hotel is comfortable and affordable. There isn't much to do while at the hotel but there are plenty of seating areas where you can stop and read a book when you are not out sight seeing.

Location is conveniant and near to town

I love staying at Java every time I’m going for vacation in Laoag ! It’s just accessible and more quiet than any other hotels in the city. Their services are just so phenomenal!!!

Property was ok. Quirky location since it’s behind a gas station. Just impressing was wow since the structure was grand. What turned me off with this property is the welcoming sewer stink. Thank goodness we could not smell it in the room. I would not go back to this hotel again and would not recommend.

Construction was going on so their was some noise. They decided to clean the rocks in the hallway while we were there and it started at 8am which made it impossible to sleep later. The restaurant and spa prices were higher than expected. Staff was very friendly and welcoming.

the staff were friendly, and the room was clean. the bed’s fabric texrures are soft too. It has a nice restaurant with filipino food, steaks and videoke. the only downside was my room was very close to that restaurant. It was hard to sleep when videoke kept playing late at night.

Best place to stay. Safe and quiet but easy to find location. Food served are very good quality. A home away from home.

Nice place I think one of the reputedly top hotels in Laoag looks amazing from outside and great pool. Wifi was very weak in some rooms (including the presidential suite !) but staff were happy to accommodate room changes. Lovely front staff. Good restaurant but breakfast was not buffet and quite small and limited.

The water from the shower is very bad. Rustic smell

The rooms Are clean! The hotel is a friendly environment.. the staff are very pleasant .... the only negative is the dinner service in the restaurant was very slow....

We liked the location. Far enough away from the city core to enjoy quite but not too far to get into the core. I suppose the only criticism I have is that there are no elevators if you bring to much luggage. Although the porters are more than willing to carry anything up or down for you. We still enjoy this hotel and will use it again and again.

Unassuming great hotel

It was located in a busy street and in front of the hotel is a large gas station - so, you would not think there is a nice hotel located in the back of the gas station. The restaurant served authentic Filipino dishes as well as other selection. There was a group that serenaded diners which was a nice touch. The hotel rooms, restaurant, and grounds were very clean. Although we had to wait a little during check-in, the front desk staff were very helpful and courteous. It was approximately 15 minutes drive to the airport. We would stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Quiet and comfortable. Definitely a notch above the other places I’ve stayed in Laoag. The attached restaurant is good and open until 1:00 am, which is a plus

Two weeks in Ilocos Norte

We stayed here for about two weeks and it wasn’t what I expected! Good service and they’re always attentive to your needs. Clean and comforting. Definitely recommend this place to others as it’s not far from everything like the mall, local spots to eat at and tourist spots. I wouldn’t mind stay here again on our next trip.

Second time and not the last.

Hotel is beautiful. Food in the restaurant needs improvement. Must use a more gentler detergent for the towels and linens. More and more people are allergy prone to strong smells.

Great but needs to improve on communication

Everything went great in the exception of airport pick up. No clear communication. Also the shuttle to be drop off to the town proper is kinda pricey.

Nice room. Hotel has no elevators but it is designed that way. Staff workers are friendly and helpful. WIFI is great. Food is good..

Room is spacious perfect for 4 of us. The hotel staff is accommodating. Location is outside city proper.

Hotel is nicely located.

The room was clean but hard to go in and out of the bath tub to shower. It was good , staff carried our luggage but elderly guests like us was a bit hard to go up and down the steps. Might stay there again.

Clean,comfortable and affordable stay

I highly recommend this hotel in Laoag. The small pool is a plus for kids. Service is nice, staff are very courteous. The restaurant in the hotel has good and reasonably priced menu. I would recommend this to friends.
