Top stay in Riyadh

superb hotel. The staff are really attentive and friendly. Rooms are above average size. Dated but very comfortable. Breakfast is excellent in terms of variety, freshness and taste. Beautiful grounds and pool.

The hotel is very old and the furniture is very bad, towels is yellow, not to recommend as 5 star max is 2 star rooms.

Staff were super friendly and hospitable. The breakfast was excellent. The business center was great. The location of the hotel is perfect because it is close to everything. The facilities such as the gym and tennis courts were wonderful. I was on a short business trip, but will surely be back to this hotel soon upon my next visit to Riyadh.

Stayed here for a business trip. Was very comfortable and secure. Food in the hotel was very good. Very friendly and helpful staff. Will stay here again for future visits.

This is an amazing hotel indeed. Extremely friendly and professional staff, amazing pool & gym, and nice restaurant. However, something should be done about the rooms. Room sizes are big, but carpets and bathroom is very outdated.

BUSINESS TRIP TO RIYADH

THE HOTEL IS VERY GOOD GENERALLY, THE STAFF ARE FRIENDLY AND ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP. THE INTERIOR DECOR IS A LITTLE DATA AND IN NEED OF UPGRADING. THE BUFFET FOOD IS SOME OF THE BEST QUALITY I HAVE TRIED WHILST IN THE MIDDLE EAST.

This hotel is one of the worst I have checked in anywhere in the world. I left and it was pre-paid. The staff couldn't care less. Just terrible

Room furniture and fixtures/fittings need to be upgraded. Hotel itself is nice but rooms are in bad condition for an Intercontinental hotel.

I have stayed there many times over the years. People are very nice, food in ground floor Al Bustan restaurant is excellent

A fantastic hotel that is in a good location. Friendly staff go out of their way to make you feel at home, especially if you're staying for a long time.

the room has not been renovated, the bathroom is old and no separate shower, the door opening system is antiquated.

Good business hotel, great gym

The Intercontinental shows its age a bit but it has one of the best hotel gyms I have ever seen and good restaurant options (which are in short supply in Riyadh.)

Very Good business hotel! Close to SAMA, Breakfast buffet does not disappoint and will give you late checkout (until 3 PM for free) if you asked nicely :)

Needs major renovation

I stayed in a room with non functional stuff, starting from phone, coffee machine to lights to mini bar, and the furniture is probably over 15 years old then requested to move to another one. They moved me to a very similar one anyways.

Comfortable Riyadh Option

Good choice for a work trip, nice large rooms. Good gymnasium and a decent size outdoor pool. It's Riyadh so very spread out and not much in terms of restaurants/coffee shops within walking distance. Staff are friendly and efficient.

Not a 5* intercontinental

Room is old and definitely not the standard of a 5* hotel. Breakfast is average. Service was ver good though, and the area is also good.

Not a fan

There is a part of the hotel near the pool that definitely is not like the photos on Hotels.com. It’s more like a Motel 6. I had to complain twice to get moved and granted it was a suite, but that was all that I as available and I felt like I was misled. They made it right, but I had to put my foot down. Very expensive food, too.

Nice hotel

Nice hotel, but check in was not that fast, rooms were not ready and had to wait about 40 minutes even though I didn’t arrive early. We were not offered anything while we waited. The rooms are fine but somehow old and can use a facelift.

Great Staff

I celebrated with my wife our wedding anniversary here and the staff was very helpful in arranging all the beautiful things to make it a memorable stay .. they even upgraded us!

Rooms are very old, not clean, ac us very loud. Lunch , breakfast and dinner buffet are poor and same food.

Well overpriced! Provided a room near the pool which sounds good, however is not, the room needs total renovation, ugly

Business oriented hotel

This is a landmark hotel in Riyadh near to several ministries and major traffic arteries. Permanent road diversions have left it difficult to reach and it is cut off from transport and local amenities. There is nothing within walking distance. Food is five to ten times the price outside the hotel. Furnishings in some rooms need updating. Service is excellent. Very business oriented. Not suitable for families or travelers with children. If your company puts you here, don't complain. Otherwise, there are alternatives.

If you have a person that you do not like, book this hotel for her or him that you do not like. Air condition do not work Management do not exist The drain is very BAD! Carpeting smell very bad Extremely bad Ethernet service I have an ambassador elite status with hotel , imagine if I was nobody !!!! Just book this hotel and you will see more bad thinks...
