We stayed in other Ibis Styles hotels before and this one was not a great experience. The first room we have been given was not cleaned and very dusty, luckily the staff were very understanding and relocated us in a better room. The general stay was OK but not the best for the same hotels chain.

Avoid

Dirty on entrance with debris on floor. Lift was out of service, Room smelt musty, air conditioning did a banging noise and vibration all night, room dirty and very dusty. Staff struggled their shoulders when I ask to speak to a manager and no other rooms available. Breakfast was very basic. No shampoo/body wash in shower

Friendly staff. Location ok walking distance to shopping streets, restaurants and river. Cumbersome parking in other building. No space to park car on the street upon arrival/departure. Small rooms and very small bathroom. Hotel interior could use an update

Great stay, great room, great outdoors pool

Great place, the room we got was super cozy, well decorated and spacious for the 2 of us + our kid. Loads of small attentions : complimentary bottled water and treats, some coloring for the kid, it’s great. Would defo stay again. The outdoors pool is super nice with table and long chairs around to chill.

Great staff. Poor room cleanliness

Whilst the service was very good and the staff helpful and friendly the room was unclean. We were offered further alternative rooms but these were just as unclean. The floors look un-vacuumed and they were dusty. Given the current situation with the COVID pandemic, this was disappointing.

Good central hotel

Exactly as advertised and quick efficient check in and out. If need parking that is free the train station car park is very close and worked well. Pool great to cool off and close to restaurants to eat.

Delicious croissants and friendly service

Very friendly service, cute room in an adorable French town, and great breakfast. It had the best croissants if any hotel we stayed in during our three weeks in Europe.

We stayed for one night on our way to Barcelona. We were pleasantly surprised. It’s a nice, clean, comfortable, simple hotel.

Hotel is very well placed in centre of Macon next to the station. Room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was great, with lots of choices of food. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Would recomment

The Hotel is in a great location. The rooom was a little disappointing for working on the latop, there was a small desk area, but only a small plastic stool to sit on. Lighting options were limited, with just bright spotlights available, Only one side of the double bed had a bedside table. Breakfast, buffet style was good, with a fresh orange juisce machine and good fresh local breads. Reception was friendly and helpful lending a travel adapter.

hear the floors......

besides the creaking floors and the knowledge where the people above you are at all times, the hissing of the air condition reminds you of an airplane on a take off run, interrupted by some loud bangs when the compressor switches on. The sentence, oh sorry the hotel parking is full, but we have parking across the street, in the third floor on the roof should scare you right away. Not only paying 9.50 Euro you have to do a round trip through the city to get to the garage, afterwards you have to return the garage door opener to the reception, they have only three...On top of that, THERE IS NO PARKING in front of the hotel. Get ready to haul your luggage fro the third floor across the street without an elevator...If this is OK with you, you found your Hotel...

OK for a stopover

Not too far from centre of town but parking is on third floor of a separate carpark across the road with only stairs for access. Room basic but adequate for overnight stay although we only discovered our air conditioning wasn't working after we had unpacked and showered so didn't bother to complain. Miss the facility of a kettle in the room for tea or coffee but you could go downstairs to reception to get coffee from a vending type machine. Friendly staff.

Great hotel for a short stay

We were only staying a night for a trip into burgundy and found the Ibis to be in a great location with friendly staff comfortable beds, bar downstairs free Internet access and breakfast included. A downside was the room we were in smelled of smoke and the rooms while modern and clean are cosy. Overall we would recommend this hotel.

Great hotel for an Alps stop-over!

A great stop-over hotel for getting to the Alps. Clean,friendly and suitable for families - as long as the children are happy to share a double bed! Room quite cosy as had 2 double beds, with little room between the beds to move, but for one night this was manageable but not for a longer stay. Great location to walk into the town which was very pretty for Christmas. Plenty of choice for restaurants in the town but not serving until 7pm. I would definitely stay here again if travelling to the alps.

Perfect for what we needed

Simple but very acceptable hotel right in the heart of Macon. Green and purple decor a little overpowering but OK. Breakfast was included and was perfectly adequate. Just right for a stop over en route and to see Macon. Likde the fresh bed linen and duvet.

Hôtel bien placé avec parking proche / accès surveillé . Personnel professionnel et très agréable et de service/disponible. Très propre. Petit dej. Parfait. Chambres simples et fonctionnelles - propreté ok et calme.

Not an Ibis-hotel to be proud of.

This is not the best Ibis-hotel in France. Beds and breakfast is OK, but rooms are very small, Even though our room vas bigger than most. AirCondition did not work. It was hot outside, and We did not get a good nights sleep. The receptionist was not very helpful and We gave up and opened the Windows instead. The safe did not work, but she did not believe us. We then asked for a restaurant- recommendation, but she just pointet down to the Town senter. We will not stay here again.

Séjour vraiment sympathique dans une ville que nous ne connaissions pas, hôtel sympathique, le buffet du pdj se trouve vraiment bien, a volonté, chambre peut-être un peux petite... mais sinon tout était bien, le service de réception sont top ne pas hésiter à demander a découvrir des restaurants typiques.

J’ai beaucoup apprécié mon séjour dans cet hôtel. Tout commence par un accueil agréable, souriant et efficace. Ma chambre était confortable, extrêmement bien insonorisé alors qu’elle était situé en rez de chaussé côté rue. Les fenêtres sont bien floutée, je m’y suis senti a l’aise tout de suite. Petit plus appréciable: une bouteille d’eau et même un petit sachet de bonbons !! On sent l’envi de faire plaisir aux clients. Dans le hall d’accueil il y a des boissons chaudes a disposition. Le petit déjeuner était très correct. Pour avoir fait plusieurs hôtels dans le secteur je recommande celui ci et y reviendrais les certainement.

Wrong garage!

Drove into garage marked with hotel name, but were trapped there. Had to call hotel, then get locked out and walk down street to reseption, then get tokens to get back into wrong garage and get car out. Check in before parking!

Séjour très confortable, personnel très sympathique.

Petit déjeuner en chambre trop chiche, avec 1 petit morceau de pain dur et un seul mini croissant , pas de beurre, ni.confiture....si j'avais su, j'aurai doublé la commande et passé 10 mn à faire ma commande... Sinon tres belle chambre

Le bruit une horreur a 4h du matin alors qu'on dormer avec ma femme une cliente de l'hôtel frappe tres fort a notre porte a plusieurs reprises alors qu'on dormer

pour un Ibis style, je trouve la prestation en baisse. nos recommandations emises 1 semaine a l'avance non pas ete prise en compte alors que la veille il nous a ete confirmé que tout etait OK , chambre dernier etage demandé et on nous propose le 1er Et, pas de savon dans la sdb, pas de verre, pas de bt eau . chambre un peu petite vu la situation actuelle l'hotel devrait faire un peu plus attention

Correct, sans plus

A l'arrivée, nous découvrons (mais nous n'avions pas vérifié) que l'hôtel dispose d'un parking, mais qu'il est en supplément, et cher (9,5€ par jour). Les différents membres du personnel se sont montrés accueillants. La chambre était calme (côté jardin) mais assez petite et pas extrêmement propre (des amas de poussière dans les coins et sur certains mobiliers), la décoration récente mais mal étudiée (la porte coulissante de la salle de bain laisse un jour de chaque côté, pas terrible pour l'intimité) et la climatisation est fonctionnel mais émet un vrombissement régulier, même à l'arrêt. Le buffet petit déjeuner est assez fourni mais trop continental (pas d'oeufs par exemple). Enfin, nous n'avons pas pu tester la piscine, mais de loin elle semblait bien entretenue

Prima hotel voor onze enkele overnachting, nette kamer, goede ontvangst...

Escogimos este hotel al no encontrar opciones en Lyon. El tren está justo enfrente de la estación Macon Ville, la cual tiene 1 o 2 salidas por hora hacia la estación de Lyon Part Dieu (45 minutos de trayecto), desde la cual se puede ir a los lugares más importantes de la ciudad y el aeropuerto (30 minutos por tranvía Rhonexpress). El hotel es un clásico Ibis: limpio, básico y a buen precio. Tiene desayuno continental (jugo, cereales, pan, fruta, carnes frías, yogurt y quesos) incluido. Buena opción para una estancia corta.

Personnel très agréable et de bons conseils pour restaurants en ville

Très bon séjour.

De passage pour une nuit dans cet hôtel, nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Hôtel rénové, moderne et très propre. Personnel attentionné et très agréable même pour une arrivée tardive le soir. Petit garage pour stationner son véhicule à l'abri mais nécessité de réserver car très peu de places. Petit déjeuner très bien dans les normes des Ibis Style avec des produits frais et jus d'orange pressé. Rien à redire sur l'hôtel à part un tout petit détail de confort personnel, papier toilette assez désagréable car pas doux et manque un 2 ème oreiller supplémentaire.

Hübsches Hotel in der Stadt.

Wir waren auf der Druchreise nach Südfankreich und hatten 1 Nacht in Macon verbracht. Im Hotel hatten wir uns wohlgefühlt ! Da wir mittags ankamen, hatten wir also Zeit uns Macon anzusehen. Ein sehr nettes Städche. Beides empfehlenswert.

Pas pour les couples avec bébé - prix excessif

Faire payer une chambre familiale pour 4 avec juste un nourrisson de 2 mois qui n’a même pas besoin de lit bébé... du vol ! (Pas possible de prendre juste une chambre double car cela est « interdit par le propriétaire » selon la réceptionniste - nous sommes arrivés après une longue route donc nous avons choisi de payer le supplément plutôt que de chercher un autre hôtel) Chambre refaite mais sans âme, le prix est vraiment excessif pour la qualité. La salle de petit-déjeuner est très bien et moderne, dommage que l esprit ne soit pas le même dans les chambres. Pour le même prix voire moins cher il y a largement mieux dans d autres hôtels de Macon. Très déçus !

Nur übernachtet nach einer Reise von Spanien. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. Nur wenige Schritte ins Zentrum. Das Auto ist gut in einer externen Garage aufgehoben. Gutes Frühstück Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gerne wieder !!

Horrible

Comme expliqué déjà sur trop, chambre exiguë, sale, et bruit de canalisation toute la nuit. Petit déjeuner sans aucun intérêt, utilisation de la piscine impossible vu le bruit des travaux dans la rue. Pour 116 euros pour une nuit c'est honteux. Je ne comprends pas hotels.com

Bonne adresse

Les plus : bon rapport qualité/prix pour déplacements pro, bon positionnement géographique> proche gare et centre ville, petit-déjeuner très correct. Les moins : quelques problèmes de micro-coupures de wifi désagréables, la reconnexion automatique au wifi ne fonctionne pas toujours, la clim pas encore enclenchée (pour un hôtel du Groupe Ibis pas acceptable).

Horrible matelas

La chambre est toute petite, la porte de la sbd est coulissante avec un jour d'au moins 3cm, le lit est EXTREMEMENT inconfortable. Une des pires nuits que j'ai passées depuis bien longtemps.

Étape agréable !

Nous y sommes restés une nuit seulement car nous faisions étape. Il faisait très mauvais mais la réceptionniste très aimable nous a indiqué une excellente adresse de restaurant.
