The sunset, the breakfast buffet, the staff, the drinks. The windows facing the ocean could be cleaned

Was a cool experience, average. The cold temperatures played a part for me, and when I took of the ac and trouble getting it back on. Should have told help desk but yeah. Was cool. Pool was 2ft, could have been a lil deeper idk. So yeah!!

The swim bar should be open until 10pm on the weekends.

The hotel to stay at in Trinidad

Stayed in the hotel before carnival week after arriving back from Tobago. The hotel was luxurious and impeccably clean. Was impressed with the service I received from check in and from all the staff who were very courteous, friendly and responsive. The very nice and helpful front desk gentleman who served me also arranged a taxi for my family as soon as I arrived to explore the north and Maracas bay. We enjoyed eating dinner and also breakfast at their restaurant seaside eating various Trinidadian specialties amongst other dishes. We walked back from Queen's Park Savannah - although a bit far, but with a bit of exercise all is walkable from this location. This will be my first choice for hotel in Trinidad the next time I come back for a visit.

A good hotel for business travel, the gym is also good. However, proximity to alternative dinner option is not the best. Breakfast is good however, limited dinner options.

Overall this was a beautiful property! My room was clean and had a beautiful view of the gulf! Food and drink options for purchase were nice and there was a wide variety of selection for breakfast. Staff overall were pleasant; however there were some that were not as welcoming.

One of the best hotels in Port of Spain I really love coming here the friendly staff The Great Food the ambience especially after Carnival is so quiet and still enjoyable to be here thanks to all the staff always taking good care of us will definitely be back as always XOXO

Great experience at Hyatt, LOVED the 15 Floor!

Definitely enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt Regency. The staff was kind and super helpful. I enjoyed the on property dining options, great bar selection. Overall a great stay! Ms.Carla at the pool bar is the bomb!

The front desk staff charge me again for the room and Expedia never refund or the hotel the money

Was excited to be on 21st floor even city view. However we couldn’t even see out the window. Still had wonderful stay. Housekeeping did a great job because we tracked sand in 2 days and we couldn’t tell the next day. Upset I did not get name of taxi driver to airport that they scheduled for us. After he bashed “the Jews”, he went into US politics which we said we didn’t want to discuss but he continued on. Oh and texting while driving. This was our only bad experience unfortunately it was our last impression Levi and I think her name was Mikela who are Concierges were both so helpful.

Stayed mutiple times forst time during carnival season, and you can tell that seasonsal staff are in. Service lacked which was disappointing in comparison to last few visits and that was across the board!

Property very outdated

Beautiful waterfront views of the city in POS. My favorite place was the breakfast shed which offered authentic tnt food. 10/10

Could use a huge renovation being it’s the “best” hotel in Trinidad from what I advice on where good places were to stay.

The room is well designed ans laid out. The bed is amazingly comfortable and the shower creates a lovelt steam spa like effect.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The complimentary buffet-style breakfast featured an impressive array of local dishes, fresh fruits, and traditional options. The pool area provided a relaxing atmosphere with stunning views. The staff were exceptionally friendly, particularly Melissa and Amanda, who offered excellent service and made us feel truly welcome. Thank you for a great experience, I will definitely stay here again.

Houskeeping fail

We did not receive service to clean the room during our stay. We called twice about this the room not being cleaned. The front desk and houskeeping manager both called and assured us that the room would be cleaned but it did not occur.

Everything was perfect

The room could be a little more update with new furniture and the fridge be more colder

The restaurant by the pool needs some work, the food is not great.

The restaurant service was terrible we waited very long for our food that did not taste good at all. People sat down after us were served way before us. Very embarrassed that i booked a night for my wife and friends at this hotel especially for dinner

Comfortable

Food is great! A great mix of local cuisine and American foods to choose from. The pool was great as well. The staff was very accommodating and pleasant. The only thing is that although the food is great, it could have been a bit cheaper.

Checkin staff was not very helpful. The hotel operators did not answer after calling at least 4 times. The hotel’s policy is to call for some toiletries

Beautiful hotel, lovely staff for the most part. Rooms could be cleaner. Saw previous ring mark from cup on other nightstand, some kind of wet spot on the headboard, body imprint still on shower window, so for the price could be more throughly cleaned.

Always my go too stay when I go home for my birthday, did not get my room cleaned tho but it was okay they did call and offer after but I was tired.

Centrally located. Amazing pool. Served halal meat/chicken certified by Jamia of Trinidad. Good to place to stay with family. Friendly and helpful staff. I would highly recommend for business or family trip.

Updated property with very conscientious staff who were able to help at every opportunity. Mainly used in room dining and appreciate that it was 24hr and quite delicious. Room was comfortable and silent so I was able to sleep in without issue. Will highly recommended and stay again!

Not worth the hype

Breakfast buffet didn’t have an omelet station which would have been nice. Variety of local as well as American cuisine. Some dishes were not warm enough. The wait staff was not receptive to feedback when i mentioned one of the handles on the trays was too hot and could possibly cause a burn. The outside wait staff on 11/19 were only attentive to certain customers, mostly Caucasians, and neglected others. Had to ask several times for beverages. The duvet cover, which was really a top sheet was torn and tattered and i had to request for it to be replaced. The housekeeping staff forgot to leave washcloths and so i had to request that as well. The parking, although free was only limited to 2 floors because all the other levels were reserved. For the price, not worth it and I’ve received better service at lower priced hotels like Holiday Inn Express. Will not stay at the Hyatt for any future stays, at least in Trinidad

Very nice atmosphere. Staff is well trained and very knowledgeable in all aspects of their jobs.

The property has limited to no parking for guests. Be prepared to be drive around like an idiot until you get a park which may be far from the property. If it is raining, be prepared to get wet or soaked depending on the park you find.

Beautiful hotel and room and the infinity pool area was a great place to just relax.

All I can say is this place is TOP TIER! I have no complaints. The staff is very friendly and courteous. Good location near town. Would definitely stay there again.

My daughter wanted to stay at Hyatt for her birthday and the staff ensured that her stay was magical from beginning to end. From the attendant at the lobby who wished her a happy birthday and even sent a complimentary cake to our room or staff at the restaurant who sang and wished her a happy birthday. It was thoroughly enjoyable and speaks volumes to the standard Hyatt maintains.

I had a welcoming smile from the 2 ladies at the front desk and was seen by lovely Alisha, who also kindly gave me a upgrade. The hotel throughout was lovely looking and very clean. The aesthetics to my room were very nice and well put together. Massive tv, towels changed everyday, the sea view was adorable, comfortable bed and the staff very attentive. Pool area nice and the gym very clean Dinning area nice, clean and you can eat in or out. Has a big car park and shops are not too far. Although this is not a resort hotel, I loved it here and will definitely be returning.

Amazing property. I love staying here.

I was prejudiced at this property. When going in for breakfast, the hostess completely ignored me. I’m assuming she thought I was Venezuelan, which in fact would still not even matter. The hostess ignored me standing on the line and attended people that were at the back of the line while I was at the front and a guest. Moreover, another guest brought it to the hostess attention that I was there before and that she should attend to me first. I was silent throughout it all as I was observing the level of racism I was receiving. To being a highly rated hotel and receiving this type of treatment had me perplexed. When it is I was attended to, I spoke in English and I was then greeted properly and attended to when I specified my room number. This is the first time I experience something like this!

This hotel is beautiful. Very clean with great food options and close to a lot of things to do.
