I flew in at noon with a 20 hour layover and a tour scheduled at 2. I didn't expect to be able to check in early, but they said no problem! The room was more than spacious and had all the amenities I needed -- iron, blow dryer, coffee maker, etc. I only wish I had more time to have been able to eat there!

One of the best hotels.

It’s really good. The airport shuttle is easy, and they wait for the customers which was so helpful. It was a great experience.

My mom and grandma had a 21 hour layover and they stayed at the Hyatt Regency Oryx Doha and they loved it!

I had a long layover both ways and loved staying at Hyatt Regency Oryx Doha! Quiet, peaceful, easy to check in and out, no lines, amazing shower, comfortable bed and delicious breakfast, breathtaking view in the elevator, free airport shuttle. Isn't it ideal?

We had a short stopover in Doha, arriving in the early hours of the morning and departing the next day. The overnight staff were incredibly helpful. We enjoyed the delicious buffet breakfast on arrival, and used the facilities, including the gym, until we were able to check in (early). The rooms were comfortable and it was a short uber ride to souq waqif. The free airport shuttle made the whole experience a breeze. When departing there had been some issues with flights out of Doha so the staff held our room until we notified that we were on our flight. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Convenient and Great Hotel

I had a 2-night stay and it was perfect. Convenient and friendly airport transfer, great buffet breakfast and multiple restaurants on property from which to have dinner. Also, centrally located for pickup and drop off for tours.

The hotel was beautiful and loved the restaurant. The staff is very professional and the chef did amazing. I felt extremely safe. Wonderful choice to stay at in Doha.

Stayed twice at this hotel. Loved it. Staff was really nice.

Hotel is immaculate and well run. It’s very much an airport hotel, but an exceptional One with excellent facilities. Breakfasts are excellent with so many choices and good quality food. I spent a day at the pool and staff brought fruit kebabs and iced towels and handed these to guests. Table was set up for iced water for guests to drink whilst using the pool. I used the gym and this was well equipped there were plenty of staff on hand to assist and advise and even offers of personal training. The hotel offers free airport shuttle service. The two downsides of the hotel were the hair salon which is very expensive, the costs are broken down so you pay to have your hair washed, another charge for the cut and another charge for the dry so a cut and blow dry is £100 and not worth the cost for the result The other issue was in check in the hotel takes a card payment of £100 to cover any costs whilst you stay, like room service, not sure why they can’t take a copy of the card to hold like most hotels do but on checking out I was told the £100 would not be reimbursed for 14 days. This is something the hotel should look at as there’s no reason this shouldn’t be returned to customer at checkout

Free airport transfers were a bonus every hour on the hour from airport and every hour on the half hour from hotel. Nothing to fault about room, service ir facilities.

The Reception Employees were professional and responsive.

The breakfast area, it's manament, hospitality and variety of foods were excellent. Especially Manager Mahadi, and Assistant Cheff Aqib was really helful and looked after each and every guests during our breakfast, sometimes beyond their assigned job.

Dined at the Lebanese restaurant. Food was tasty, but was sick during the night and diarrhea the next day. Not sure which dish caused it. Had Chicken Shawarma and Um Ali dessert.

Multiple guests woke me and my partner up at midnight and 5 AM. Kids screaming in the hallway left alone and the staff did not respond appropriately. I’ve been staying here for about three years and decided to start going elsewhere. They refuse to refund anything for my stay. I slept only three hours that night and paid over $300 to stay there because of holiday rates. Don’t waste your time with this place and find others that are better especially if you are a foreigner. You can find it much quieter and peaceful place to stay. The pool also has a bad chemical smell from sewage and if the wind blows in the wrong direction, that’s all you smell when you’re in the pool.

The hotel is excellent, not far from the airport. I was just surprised that there were no soft drinks available in the room fridge. I had a late arrival (after midnight) so none of the venues were open for drinks.

Very nice hotel and accommodations. 24-hour room service was a plus as our flight was a late one. Don’t like their no-reschedule/reservation change policy.

The view is breathtaking. The staff is knowledgable and friendly. The drainage of the shower stalls needs to be addressed....the current design leaves the floors outside the stall wet

Nice and clean hotel

Staff is incredible. Ms Nicole D’Souza excelled along with other ladies at the reception desk . They are an asset to this Hotel. This place needs a dedicated area for tourists during Ramadan . Too old to be sneaking a cig behind the hedge . Memories of High school came rushing back. It’s 15 minutes from the airport. Private taxi was 46 Qatar Rials. About 13.USD $. Hotel shuttle is free and leaves on the hour . There is a Tiny Mini Mart near the Metro Station which is quite convenient for basics . All drinks in Qatar are served by room service only- 15 USD $ for a bottle of Budweiser. Slightly more for hard liquor. I would stay here again.

Wonderful

The Hyatt Regency Oryx is well placed being close to the Metro. Great breakfast with large variety of foods. Al Nafourah Garden has an authentic delicious Lebanese menu. Fantastic ambiance with superb attentive staff, Sayed and Mohammed. Wonderful Balinese massage in the spa by Aynu best ever. Rooms are spacious if you have a stopover in Doha it’s a great location with genuinely friendly staff.

Thursday when I reach when I went for the sleep sleep, there was nightclub down of my room. It was very noisy and loud. I couldn’t sleep me and my wife second the shower. It’s very bad when you take a shower. It’s leaking too much water in the toilet so we cannot move And the drainage is very noisy. That’s it. I was really upset and saying this Hotel I will never ever go and stay in this hotel, and I will not recommend anybody to stay in this hotel.
