It was a good hotel for the price
Serious security and privacy violations. A person claiming to be my wife called this hotel, where she was not asked for either an Expedia or Hotel confirmation number. She was not on the reservation. She was not named anywhere as a person who could access details of this reservation, yet, this hotel provided her with access to the reservation, its details, and allowed her to influence the reservation itself. I believe they would have given her my financial information if she asked for it. Textual messages critical to our trip plans were not answered until the day before the reservation, and unreliable internet disconnected me many times. In person, hotel staff addressed their speech at the front desk to my aged grandmother, who is hard of hearing and not informed on the reservation, because they stereotyped me as not being able to speak Japanese. The security violations alone are enough reason not to come here; you don't need the subtle discrimination to tip the scales.
Was close to Downtown.
Good
Safe, Good , clean , and friendly staff
It’s a really great hotel to relax at, to get away and sleep
Good hotel, reasonably priced.
Parking is a bit expensive each night but it was a great hotel in a great location
Inexpensive, centrally located within walking distance of several venues: Sasebo train station, the port area, US Navy base
Conveniently located. Comfortable and they quickly added a bed for an extra guest. Plenty of restaurants and shopping. The train station was a couple hundred yards away and the bus terminal was on the bottom floor of the building. Perfect for our needs.
The room was quite small, but clean and quiet. The location is excellent. Center of the downtown area, just across the main street from the Sasebo train station and next to the main bus depot. Large elevated parking garage right behind the hotel, which offers discount parking vouchers.
Location is great, room is dated but clean, and the bathroom is way too small. There are not much hotel choices around this area with the same price range.
Highly recommend
I got a larger room than the cheapest and the room was still tight. There was confusion about breakfast so I ate elsewhere. The hotel is across the street from the train station, the taxi stand, and bus station so transportation was good.
I stayed in this hotel for a night and it was super nice. The room is small but big enough for one person. Its very close to the station so it’s convenient to get to.
Really nice place to stay and have a lot of place to go like the train station to travel to other cities on your free time, Ginza street that have a lot of small and medium size souvenirs shop, Bangai Mall and a lot restaurant options for all the taste.
A couple of the staff spoke great English, but had no problems communicating with anyone. Clean. Close to train. The express bus to Nagasaki airport is first floor, so super convenient. Plenty to eat nearby and lots of local shops nearby.
very convenient all around
The staff is very friendly and accommodating. However, I could barely open my large suitcase. Its a tiny room.
a little old but cost performance is good. Breakfast is Japanese but very nice
The non-smoking room smelled like a smoker room
I liked this hotel as I always get this hotel every time because it’s affordable not too expensive and it’s close to bus station and train station.
Small but clean and worth it. Would recommend to friends.
Was a nice getaway. Room was neat and clean. Good area.
Overall a good stay.
Pros: Gorgeous view from our room. Easy access to the train and in the same building as the bus station. Extremely convenient for travelers. Well maintained. Cons: Tiny area for the coin laundry. Bidet didn’t work. Front dest unfriendly. Why would you hire people in the hospitality business that hate their job?
Great choice!
Have stayed here twice. Super fast check in. Super clean. No issues.

I think it’s the nicest cheap hotel in the sasebo area. Comfortable, not too hot, not too cold!
There was constant construction work going on. Every morning when I was in my hotel room, I heard a constant bang on the walls as if someone was hitting the walls. It was very disturbing and wouldn’t let me relax in my hotel room. I later found out that it was because they were doing some maintenance. I wish I was at least told that there would be noise so that I would be aware of when this obnoxious bang would happen. We were left in the dark on this and I was very frustrated with the noise.
A familiar place. Nice staff. Nice breakfast. Very convenient location.
Good facilities; Good and helpful staff; Close to train station.
The location is great for Sasebo, right in the center, with a lot of shopping and dining. Safe and convenient, the staff was really helpful.
Great location. Just opposite the Sasebo train station and bus station. Lots of restaurants around. Convenient to Connect to anywhere. Hotel clean and spacious. Will come again
Great stay- Clean, good breakfast, and helpful staff. Too far from Sasebo Naval base. Pillows too hard- had to buy softer pillow.
The Hotel Resol is simply convenient.
The Hotel Resol is a convenient location. It connects to the Sasebo Bus Terminal and has a taxi station located next to the building. It's only a ten-minute cab ride to Sasebo Naval Base. The breakfast is simple but tasty and rooms are comfortable.
Good area and close with bus station and subway
Great location if you arrive my bus :) Breakfast is nice... Room service is fantastic...
Water leak outside bathroom door, carpet wet and slight odor. Need to check rooms before guests move in.
The hotel is in front of Sasebo station and in the same building of the bus terminal. There is a plenty of restaurants around.
Very comfortable beds. Fast WiFi. Cheaper than other rooms in the area.
Really convenient 4 mins walk from station! Easy check in but breakfast is so so...not recommended!
Okay
It was an OK stay more like a hotel if you're here for business if anything. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bathroom could have been cleaner.
Good location
The hotel is in a good location across the street from the train station and bus station. The rooms and bathroom are a bit small. Breakfast was good and if you leave sign to not clean room they will leave new supplies outside your door case you need them. WIFI and Ethernet connection both were good.
Good Location near water near shopping center. Great views on the 14 floor
No advance notice on parking availability. Arrived late and searched for parking. Phone number did not work initially. English of staff was very limited.
Affordable, easy to check in, clean rooms, and convenient to Sasebo Naval Base. The bus from Nagasaki Airport deadheads at the hotel, taxi stands, and convenience stores are just around the corner.
Excellent location that just 1 min from the station and very nice stuff.
Sasebo Station
Relatively new, right across the street from train station and bus center. Transportation wise really convenient. Buffet breakfast is great. The room is really tiny - hard to place big luggage. OK for just sleep and shower, but definitely not comfortable to do anything else. Hard to work, as the space is limited. Abundant restaurants and stores around.
It was a decent hotel rooms are kind of small. The breakfest bar was great!
Hotel Hopping
I picked this hotel for a friend because of the convenience and location. Knowing he would be arriving after 2200 on a bus from Fukuoka, I arranged for him to start at this particular hotel because it’s in the same building as the Sasebo Bus station. The staff was made well aware of his late arrival in advance and were very accommodating and as always very friendly. The room itself is rather small but so are many Japanese hotels. The bed was more comfortable then he imagined it would be compared to other beds in different hotels he or I have stayed in while in japan. But it wasn’t about comfort, it about rest and relaxation, which suited just fine. The room was clean, had a great view of Sasebo and the water front. The hotel is within walking distance of many restaurants and shopping. So if you’re just passing through or arriving very late into Sasebo, Hotel ReSol is perfect.
As good as it gets in Sasebo
Very nice. Very close to the train station. Only one English speaking channel on the TV. They do provide Wi-Fi so Netflix and other options are available.
Typical Room
Normal small hotel room but clean. Bathroom was in dire need of renovation.
Decent but never again.
I stayed for one night and the toilet sink was leaking and the residents was very loud. The front desk had no clue what I was saying and worst of all the pillow was extremely hard. I enjoyed my stayed but would not stay again.
Not satisfied
Not satisfied. We booked two family rooms (2 adult and 1 child each) which stated include breakfast, however we need to pay breakfast fee with total 1600-yen for the children.
Ideal location
This hotel is located above the bus station and the train station is across the street. Excellent location for commuting around the local surrounding areas.
Clean, efficient hotel across from train station.
Lovely stay; a bit older facilities but very neat and in excellent condition. Lobby on 2nd floor; smooth check-in/check-out
Nice easy to find location
It was what I needed for simply a one nights stay. It was very comfortable and even though it was small, it worked well for just me. It did have a bit of a draft from the window, but that was easily solved. Check in was easy, the staff was accommodating and it was very close to the station (right across the street) so I didn't have to go far after traveling for so long. This was actually a better experience than one that I had a much higher priced, swankier hotel in a more metro city, so I would highly suggest them.
Sasebo Hotel ReSol stay
convenient location, hotel was pleasant
Clean, affordable option near Sasebo Naval Base
A good option when doing business at Sasebo Naval Base. Breakfast was fine and service in general was efficient and friendly. Bus terminal and taxi service are next door to the hotel.
Nice hotel close to train station and bus terminal
Very good location where close to the train station and bus terminal, easy to go sightseeing and in/out Sasebo. Only one night stay we wish to have a good night sleep and this hotel can provide the quilt instead of a white sheet covering. I stayed 7 hotels for the past trip last week, and only could enjoy the "quilt" facility from this hotel.
My Hotel Stay
Out of all the hotels I stayed in Sasebo City, I found this one to be the best. Despite the room being small, the bed was quite comfortable, and amenities were all new.
A stone's throw from the station.
I arrived much later than I'd planned, and left on an early train, so I didn't get to explore the area at all. The room was small, but comfortable, and directly across the street from the train station.
Very convenient location. Rooms were nice.
The staff weren't friendly but other than that, it's a great hotel.
Good location
This hotel looks good from outside but inside is very old. Bathroom is so small. Great location to use JR train. Just about it.
Will never try again. Hotel not clean on bed
Stay one night with family but the bed is not clean and room is a bit old.
It was great. Would stay again.
Overpriced
I normally stay at this hotel and it cost about $127 for 2 nights. But when i got my bill this last time i was shocked to see it cost $248. Way over priced for the size and comfort the bed provides.
Old property, good location.
The room was small and the property was old. It was hot in the room even though we switched on the air-con but we couldn't lower the temperature as it's fixed to "Low, Med, High". Hotel is near to train station and the breakfast was nice.
Hotel is dated but comfortable.
Great Hotel
Convenient location for train and bus system
Great Hotel for traveling through
Great Hotel for short stay trips. Comfortable and large enough bathtub for taller men.
Check in was very easy. Room was small but clean. Friendly staff.
Nice comfy room.
Very small room
I am use to rooms in Japan being small but this was small compared to any others I have stayed in. The sink was half way into the tub/shower. You had no room for stowage. The TV had no English channels. Would not stay again.
Tiny rooms, restaurant too expenive for quality of what was offered, excellent location though.
nice hotel above the bus station, across the street from the train station so it is very convenient. Very small but comfortable rooms.
Literally 1 min walk from JR station and bus terminal, small bathroom but you have all your stuff available. Free udon from 9pm to 10pm

Room was so dirty, trash under bed, so much dust under bed, mold and rooms are overly sprayed with scent to try and mask odor. Very very dated hotel. Needs to be remodeled. Staff at front desk are not friendly except one female that we seen only once. I don’t think they care much for foreigners and they don’t speak English except for one female.
