Great location great servoce
Lovely hotel with very good service, breakfast, and accomodations! great location to the heart of Amsterdam!
Nice little hotel friendly staff
The staff was very friendly! The breakfast was very good. Everyone made us feel very comfortable!
It was convenient
The room I had was quite small but I'm travelling solo so it was adequate for me. The bed was quite hard which is personal preference I know. The bathroom was small but functional. The shower had good pressure and the grate between the shower and the basin and toilet prevents the water from going into this area. Breakfast was good with specialty coffees available.
Great room, very clean. Friendly and competent staff, and the breakfast was very nice.
Nice friendly staff, good location positioned near the tram to main tram routes including centraal station. Nice sized rooms, bed is a bit hard hard but that could be personal preference.
Great Value, accommodating staff and clean hotel. Will definitely come back again!
A great hotel
Great hotel. A short distance / tram ride from the centre. Simple but excellent breakfast, super clean rooms and comfy bed and great service from all the staff.
The staff were very kind and helpful. The room was very clean. I felt safe in the area. If you like pizza, try Pazzi. The breakfast was quite filling.
We were able to drop off our luggage in the morning. The hotel clerk was incredibly helpful and patient. The room was comfortable and clean. Lovely little balcony with a great view of life on a busy Amsterdam street but still quiet. You get so much for a very reasonable fee.
Very nice hotel and staff.
Great location. Need to fix AC.
Great location in a quieter part of Amsterdam yet a close walk or tram ride to the center. The room was very small, but typical for Europe. The breakfast was great and included hot items like eggs. The woman at the front desk was friendly. The only negative was that the AC didn’t work. We were on the top floor with daytime highs in the 70s. The room was very warm, and we booked it specifically because it had AC. When we told the front desk, they said it was a “known issue”, which sounded like they knew and still booked the room. They initially didn’t want to do anything about it, until we asked again. They reset it, and it worked for 2 hours but then shut off.
Wonderful choice!
What a great little hotel! The staff was very friendly and the room was sparkling clean. It was a great location for walking the city but still quiet with a local vibe. Good food options close by. Freddy Fryday was delicious and the rotisserie chicken place across the street was also very good.
The staff was very nice and informative. Great location and I had a nice room with a balcony, loved it.
Clear and good place!i like it.thanks for everything
The staff was very friendly and accommodating . Very roomy and amazing location
Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly, a tram running to the train station was only a minute walk or so, great cafes / bars / restaurants nearby. Would recommend!
Charming small boutique hotel
Pretty and charming small boutique hotel with amazing staff and management - Andrea and Murat are the keys for any direction in Amsterdam.
Great place and friendly staff. Breakfast was so nice!
Clean & friendly.
Truly THE BEST!
I've stayed at lots of hotels ...large, small, expensive, budget. I've never been cared for by such friendly, attentive, service oriented staff ever before. I interacted with three different staff members (and the hotel owner) during my one night stay and all were absolutely committed to being helpful in whatever way possible... from early check- in, upgraded room, free coffee and teas several times, rapid breakfast service, and above and beyond internet help with restaurant locations and rail/tram travel. It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Hotel Larende and I will never again consider staying anywhere else when in Amsterdam. Thank you for a great stay!
Service was great. We were greeted with a complimentary beer upon arrival. Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating, and offered to keep our luggage after check out so we didn’t have to have it all day. Hotel room was just as described. Breakfast was very satisfying! My only complaint is my feet got dusty and dirty walking around the room. Maybe a bit more cleaning of the floors. Everything else was perfect!
It is a bit older but all of the staff is SO nice. Room was big enough, bathroom was great, and the bed was pretty comfy. I'd totally stay here again.
Great value away from the city centre bustle
Good location away from the city centre bustle. Staff were really helpful and accommodating. As the hotel is on a busy road, and we were at the front of the hotel, it was a bit noisy (compared to the countryside where we live) but the bed was really comfortable which was a good distraction. Like most hotels, the lighting is more mood than practical.
Nice find would stay again
Nice hotel, easy to find. Room was small but comfortable. I paid for a single room but had a double bed. I was road side of hotel but this was no problem for me. Helpful reception.
Great Friendly Staff
A great welcome at Larende. Really good breakfast. Helpful staff. And a pleasant neighbourhood.
Lovely hotel
Was lovely! Nice pleasant staff, breakfast enough for on the go, room clean and tidy, decent shower with shampoos. Great location on a tram line. Recommend!
Things tend to go missing from the room and the Owner appears uninterested and defensive
Lovely little spot, greeted by the best hotel owner we have ever had. He was very welcoming, gave us a complimentary drink and pulled out a map to give us showing us where the main sites around town were, and what trams to catch to get around. The location is a bit out of the busy central area but wasn’t really an issue as the tram stop was about 100m up the road and so easy to get all over Amsterdam. The room is clean and nice, minibar is also quite cheap if you need. If you like a really dark room bring an eye mask but was a nice quiet spot. TV had english channels!!!
Nice stay...Uncomfy bed
The hotel was spotless and beautiful. I loved the style and the staff was very friendly. The only complaint I have is that the bed was very hard and sort of felt like a rock.
Great location!
This is a great little unassuming hotel with everything you need! Lovely, very attentive staff. Lots of cafes, and food stores nearby and easy walk to the city centre.
Overall nice
Great location, great food! Fairly easy to navigate to downtown Amsterdam.
Positive feedback only at this hotel
The girl at reception was amazing so nice and helpful. Room was tiny when I arrived the manager said you requested a twin room my reply was I booked it through hotels.com I was given a single room don’t be under any illusions it’s tiny but clean. That evening I was in my room relaxing when a loud banning on my door on opening the manger son was there raving about my write up regarding my room he even had the measurements and said that was the room I booked and I knew by the measurements the size he was really angry not a nice experience. He should learn people have options and also how to deal with the public in the end I said please drop this I felt very uncomfortable. This hotel wants only positive feedback. I liked the area easy to get about it was the girl at reception that made my stay pleasant.
Very nice place to stay at. Excellent service
Excellent Service and very cosy atmosphere. Very close to the major spots you wanna visit. They tram stop is next to them, and they have a nice restaurant and a supermarket close by. Indefinitely recommend this hotel.
My review
Really nice hotel. Clean and well presented. Was offered a welcome drink when I had checked in ... when I returned at midnight had a beer in main area which was no problem for them .. Would recommend
A terrific small hotel
We just returned from our stay at this hotel. I have only good things to say about Hotel Larende. We were warmly greeted by Murat the owner who immediately made us delicious coffee, as he checked us in and took our suitcases to our rooms. The rooms are superbly clean and comfortable with modern fixtures. Murat and his son, as well as Lenny and Andrea were extremely welcoming and helpful. They did everything they could to suggest points of interest, map out our routes and got us tickets to museums, canal cruises, and other tours. They made us superb complimentary coffees and tea anytime day or evening. The breakfast was a generous buffet of hot and cold foods including cereal, eggs, cheeses, meats, fresh fruits, juice, breads, croissants and of course the wonderful coffee !. We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant twice and it was excellent. The hotel is well located on 3 tram lines and walkable to many points of interest. We would not stay anywhere else when visiting Amsterdam.
Nice hotel and tremendous staff. Good food too!
Thank you to Andrea and the rest of the staff. Made our visit very enjoyable.
Excellent Hotel with Super friendly Staff...
Very good hotel with all the amenities and comfort... Location is Perfect with 3 Tram lines passing nearby... Rooms are spacious and very much clean... beds are comfortable n great balcony... And All the Staff of Hotel Larende was excellent and very friendly especially Lenny n Andreea... breakfast is delicious with varieties... n 24 x 7 coffee availability is great... only one suggestion for improvement is shower screen in bathroom required. overall it is an excellent hotel.
Great location, friendly staff
I arrived late at night so was impressed with the helpful checkin and safe hotel awaiting. Easy train and tram from airport to bed! My room was small and basic but all I needed for my short stay. The location was terrific, right on the tram route, number 14 straight in to Dam Square. Nearby was Anne Frank House, canal and more. A great stay, thankyou.
Very nice hotel, with a very friendly and helpful.
This is a great hotel which provided a great experience to our time on Amsterdam. The hotel has a very nice lobby/entrance. The room was very nice with plenty of space to store luggage, and had a nice bathroom. Breakfast was very good with a large variety. Last but very not least, the staff was extremely nice and helpful. They gave great information about the city attractions and how to navigate with the public transportation system. Overall, a great experience.
A Gem in Amsterdam
Check in was easy, fast, and very welcoming. We stayed twice over a 8 day period. Excellent in all ways....breakfast buffet, elevator, ample amenities, nearby to tram, extremely friendly staff!
Hotel Larende
excellent service and value for money
Perfect Stay!
From the cheery welcome (that included a welcome glass of wine) to the clean, modern, comfy room to the beautiful breakfast buffet, this was a perfect stay!
Felt like home
Perfect!
Great location, great place tonstay
The staff is very helpful with recommendations, making reservations and serving snacks and breakfast. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Beds are a bit firm but manageable. Good location. Trams are right outside the door so you can get to sights within minutes. Lots of restaurants nearby as well.
such a pleasant surprise!
How many hotels give you a "welcome to our hotel" beer when you check in??? We loved it! The breakfast was amazing and NOT your typical continental breakfast. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to Amsterdam.
Perfect boutique hotel in great location.
We appreciated the hospitality from all the staff. We had to catch an early flight home and they had breakfast prepared earlier than normal for us. The staff also helped with transportation and tour ideas and printed out our boarding passes before our departure. Andrea was super pleasant.
Great little hotel
Andrea the woman in charge of reception was the friendliest hotel personnel I've ever met. I arrived too early for checking in so she offered me a free coffee and croissant even though breakfast time had finished already. She also saw my bottle of water was half empty and offered to fill it up. She took the time to show to me in a map recommendations of places to visit and eat. I had to work half a day when I was there so they allowed me to stay an extra hour after checkout time to finish some phone calls I had to make. The room was clean and in good condition. The hotel was close enough to the centre (25 min walk or 10 min tram) and near beautiful canal streets. Wifi was very fast even in the room. Room was a little bit small but for a single person it was more than enough for a couple days.
Quiet Nice breakfast Good simple dinners
Marrat was a very good host, we felt like part of the family
The owner and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, very close to the frequent trams.
Nice small hotel, although a little outdated. All off the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good variety.
Well located hotel
We reserved this hotel on short notice due to a change in my itinerary, and we were pleased that the hotel was very well located in the channel part of the city (a few tram stops from Amsterdam Centraal). The problem was that when we arrived we were informed of an extra cost in our reservation that was not expected. On the first part, I made the mistake (I don't see how), of not realizing that there was this costs. Taking that apart, the hotel has a very stretch elevator and stairs, and we were carrying luggage plus a stroller.
A real find
It was a perfect place for us to explore the city. Quiet, small, centrally located, with a great free breakfast - and great value!
Reasonable rate for Amsterdam, close to all attractions and also good neighbourhood restaurants and laundries.
OVERALL EXCELLENT VALUE !!!
Stayed for 2 nights with my son, recently. The hotel is small but very charming. Our room was totally refurnished with new bedding of the highest quality, and a bathroom with all new equipment. It was very nice. Staff were extremely pleasant and accommodating with complimentary coffee and directions (and suggestions) to local restaurants. The breakfast offered an ample supply of scrambled eggs, croissants and bread, meats and cheeses, and good coffee made fresh by the cup. Overall, I feel the Hotel Larende is an excellent value, and I would absolutely stay there again.
Glad we,booked this hotel
Clean and tidy hotel, quiet. Good breakfast. Excellent service at reception, cheap bike hire, good selection of discount vouchers in front desk. Fresh tea and coffee available from reception all the time. No safe in our room sadly
comfotable, friendly and warm
very "warming" hotel.
Great place to be
The owner of the hotel and all other staff were helpful and kind. The view of the room, size and cleanliness as well were the advantages.
false booking
When i arrived at the hotel, the staff at the counter said there were "no rooms available" because despite my booking being confirmed by hotels.com he said "i just sold that room to someone else before you came" Yes, i reached there at 3am in the night but my booking was confirmed. I slept in the car eventually because nothing else was affordable that night.
Friendly staff and fantastic breakfast!
I stayed for one night there. The stay was comfortable. I was greeted by a very kind gentleman who also greeted me when i checked out. He was very kind and friendly. I was welcomed by welcome drink and feel welcomed to the new city i've just arrived. The room was small and mainly occupied by the large bed. The toilet and the shower room was small but very new and clean. The bed was large and I had comfortable sleep. To top, the breakfast bar was fantastic especially with the croissant they bake at their kitchen. I could not stop eating them ;) I had a room on the ground floor, which had a little balcony. Also the balcony was also next to the kitchen balcony so I could see kitchen cardboards, so it made me a bit shy to get out on the balcony. I could hear the people coming in-and-out of the staircases and to the kitchen area though it was not enough to bother me. Overall, very friendly staff who is willing to help.
Staff was very helpful, room was small but clean, and had some issues with the shower. But overall nice place in a good location.
Nice Hotel close to the Main attractions by Tram
As mentioned above, the Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. My husband and I were there for three days and loved the fact that the tram was only a block and a half from the Hotel. It helped us get to many of the main attractions that we came to see
Good small hotel with excellent service
Really helpful staff in a very pleasant hotel. Good food, comfortable and clean. Perfect for tram or walk into Amsterdam proper. Will stay again.
excellent staff, minimalistic room
Incredibly helpful and hospitable daytime front desk staff. Nice breakfast buffet. Convenient access to the tram and central Amsterdam. Small and minimalistic room, and the WiFi signals were so weak in my second floor room that I often lost the connection (may I suggest adding a hotspot for the second floor?). The single rooms face a busy street and I needed earplugs to sleep at night.
Nice location
This turned out to be a terrific location in a bustling, hip part of town with a lot of nice cafe-restaurants (on weekend nights you'd better make reservations), away from the gross tourist zone but just a short tram ride from the center. The hotel has bikes for rent. The room was very nice, not big but not cramped, and actually has a balcony over a quiet rear courtyard. My only objection to the room is that it is a double room with only one luggage stand--where do hotels think you're going to put the other suitcase? Also they sold us "tickets" to the Van Gogh Museum, but when we presented these at the museum we were told they aren't actual tickets, just vouchers that can be exchanged for tickets by standing in the same long line we would have stood in anyway.
Nice, friendly hotel
Mum and I stayed for 2 nights this August. We arrived late yet still had a welcome check-in with complimentary dutch cheese and wine to nibble on. The hotel room was on the 4th floor with two single beds as requested. It was cosy with free bottles of water everyday. Very helpful staff willing to do anything for you and nice continental breakfast served 7.30-10am.
Everything for a short stay
Such a friendly hotel with all amenities required for a short stay. Very comfortable and good breakfast to start the day. Thank you.
Poor internet connection, no heating. Clean.
Amsterdam was unseasonably cold (58 degrees Fahrenheit) but the management had shut the heating off and my room was very drafty. The hotel staff was incredibly unhelpful, too - after requesting an extra blanket two times, I gave up. Internet connection came and went, and was painfully slow at times. Room was clean and tidy.
Excellent place to stay
Very good hotel~ People are very nice especially the man at the front desk (I guess he might be the boss). Might be a little too far from the downtown but it definitely worth staying there. Only one thing can be improve, breakfast can be better.
Quiet location and great staff!
You walk in and there is no real lobby....it's the restaurant so not your typical hotel! But..... The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly [all the time!] - gave us a detailed explanation on how to get around and offered us coffee/tea before even getting to the room. We were a bit further away from the city centre than what we had expected but 3 main tram lines stopped a mere block away that bring you to any of the main areas you want to be in. The tram is very easy to use, there is not a lot around the hotel.... hence the quiet location! Breakfast was excellent. Wifi worked.
Great Service
Great Hotel good location. GOOD FOOD great staff
Two days in Amsterdam
I needed a place to stay in Amsterdam for a couple of days following a Rhine River cruise and found this hotel on Trip Advisor. The rooms are very small, but exceptionally clean. Since I have a few mobility issues, I appreciated the presence of an elevator. A buffet breakfast is included with the room rental. The hotel has a restaurant (mainly pizza and pasta with a middle east twist) which is closed on Tuesdays. As other reviewers have noted, the beds are pretty hard, but I like a firm mattress. The hotel is located about a block away from Tram 13, which goes to the Anne Frank house and Centraal Station; this makes it easy to get to most local attractions. At the time of this review, an all day tram ticket was 7.5 euro. The hotel sells tram tickets, as well as tickets to attractions like the Keukenhof Gardens tour. If you decide to buy a hop on-hop off bus ticket, please be aware that the nearest stop from the hotel is about a mile away. Also be aware that there is quite a bit of street noise; you'll want to keep your window closed.
Great stay!
We stayed for three nights here. We were on the first level above the ground level. Although the room was somewhat small, it was very clean and comfortable. The room, however, could use a small trash can in the bedroom, a box of tissues, and better internet service. The best part of the hotel was the friendly service and great breakfasts. The location was just a 10-15 minute tram ride into the City Center. I really liked the neighborhood because it didn't feel touristy and there were lots of great local restaurants nearby.
would recommend!
very friendly staff and nice hotel. the wifi didn't work for a good portion of my one night stay, so that was kinda annoying.
Amazing hotel, great location, lovely staff
Had a lovely stay in this hotel. Everything was pretty much new, obviously has been recently renovated. Lovely hotel. Great location, easy to get the tram to basically any where, or you can even walk (about 20-25 mins or so walk to the main centre). Nice light room with a good amount of windows. Staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was delicious and fresh. Nicest hotel I have stayed at in Europe.
Quite central and friendly
Handily located for tram 13 and walking distance of Dam. Friendly staff and a friendly welcome. Excellent breakfast, rooms very comfortable.
Excellent staff at a welcoming Hotel
Upon arrival at Hotel Larende, I was greeted by an exceptionally friendly welcome. I was instantly offered a warm drink and the check-in process was refreshingly straight forward. Although some would say the room I occupied was on the small side, it was more than adequate for my requirements during my stay ( I really only wanted somewhere to sleep at night as I spent almost all day in the city.) Breakfast buffet again met all my needs and overall, I do not have anything but praise for this hotel. It is a good 15 minute walk to Dam square from here but there is a tram stop only 2 minutes down the road where you can reach the Dam or Centraal Station in only a few stops. For the price, this really was a great place to stay in Amsterdam.
Staying in Amsterdam
Great hotel, well situated, friendly, helpful staff. Would certainly recommend!
Nice hotel and good location :)
The hotel was lovely and the staff were mostly very helpful. The free drink on arrival to the hotel was very appreciated. We were also given a map and the girl who checked us in explained the tram routes etc... We stayed in a room on the top floor at the front of the hotel - it was a lovey spacious room with a comfy bed and a small but very nice en-suite shower room. However, the room was very hot (we stayed end of October) to the point where it was quite uncomfortable at times and the air-con unit in the room wasn't brilliant. Breakfast was simple but good, especially the fresh fruit and croissants. The location/area is really good -he tram stop is a minute walk away and there are a few lovely bars and restaurants very close to the hotel. Overall we had a great time and would stay at the hotel again.
excellent
The hotel is clean and quite. The room is spacy enough, but no air condition and there is no enough light in the bathroom. The staff is very helpful and polite. iron and coffee can be obtained at the reception desk. close to the public transportation an just a 20 minutes walk from the Dam.
Nice hotel but noisy
Hotel was clean and well run. The only problem was the noise of trams in the morning. I was in room 201 which was clean and modern but at the front of the hotel
End of our trip
A very nice end to our 2+ month trip through Europe. The manager and staff were very helpful in pointing us to the places to go and with the restaurants. Tram stop was very close and it was only 10 minute ride to the main station area for boat rides on the canals etc, but you could easily walk it.
Great family owned hotel. Quality food , Quality s
Excellent hosts in a great city. The only negative comment is our pillows were a bit overstuffed. We used the decorative pillows to lay on instead. Good location by tram. Access to the city center was simple to manage.
enjoyable stay
I really liked this hotel, especially the staff. A nice gentleman who works there tried making everything as comfortable as possible for me. He helped me with navigation, renting a bike and any questions I may have had. The hotel room was great, clean, very nice bathroom, nice location; the breakfast was very good, especially for Amsterdam (there was more variety and great coffee). There is also a rather good restaurant on the premises. The hotel may be a little further away from the more popular areas, but I viewed this as a benefit, since it was nice and quiet at night. There are several main tram lines right outside, which, in addition to bike rental, make you you well connected. I will certainly stay here the next time around!
Great Staff, Close to tram
This hotel was clean and comfortable. The rooms were a little small, but nothing out of the ordinary for Europe. The staff was very helpful and made our stay very pleasant. The breakfast was awesome and the hotel was very close to two tram stops that took you directly into the city center in about 10 minutes.
Good choice in Amsterdam
Stayed for a few days at this small hotel in Amsterdam. The hotel is located about a 30 min walk to Dam Square in a quiet area with plenty of public tram transport right into the heart of things. Hotel was very clean and rooms were kept spotless. Rooms are as they are shown in pictures- everything you would need to be comfortable. Good continental breakfast buffet, free coffee & tea, and an excellent restaurant on site. The hospitality of the owner and his son are what makes this small hotel a recommended choice in Amsterdam .
Clean and modern
Just returned from a lovely break in amsterdam. The hotel was immaculately decorated and beautifully clean. On a tram route, with range of shops, cafés and restaurants nearby.
Nice small hotel not far away from city center
Nice small hotel not far away from city center and 15 minutes tram ride from central station. Good breakfast, free tea/coffee in the lobby, free internet, friendly personnel. Will definitely use it again.
Excellent staff and location:)
My fiance and I had stayed at The Hotel Larende for 2 nights in October and enjoyed our time their so much, that we had tried to stay an extra night but they were unfortunately sold out. The staff is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. If we can ever make it back to Amsterdam The Hotel Larende will definitely be our first choice.
Great service, great location
This hotel turned out to be a gem. The young man behind the desk was a top ten on the Welcome Scale. He offered us coffee since we arrived hours too early to check in while he made storage room for our luggage. Excellent breakfast buffet and lovely room to eat it in. Pleasant, clean room and ultra modern bathroom. Large windows that opened to street. Only problem: there is a bar downstairs near the hotel, and even on weeknights, they talk loudly and the smoke from their cigarettes came into our room! If we closed the windows, we got just too hot to sleep. I would still recommend the hotel, tho, the location is perfection and the rate excellent.
Small Travel Friendly Hotel
Room adequate size and comfortable with step-in shower in small bathroom. Partially selected this little hotel because of the elevator and when we arrived it was being repaired. Not to worry--staff carried our heavy luggage up two flights of stairs to our room. Cup of coffee provided while we checked in. Owner, his son and son's friend always ready to help us obtain tour or tram passes, find a restaurant, and assist with directions. Had a good pizza dinner in the restaurant. Breakfast buffet offered numerous choices with good eggs and excellent croissants! Our two night stay here was very pleasant and the nearby Internet Cafe and tram stop right outside were a plus. We'd definitely stay here again.
Amsterdam trip
Hotel managers and owner were phenomenal. They were nice and extremely helpful. The breakfast was great. The Tram is right across the street making it easy to get to city center.Rooms were a little small. City center is not walking distance.
Came here for two nights to go with my son to a university open day. Great location with tram stop right outside. Staff very helpful working out route and transport times to university and suggesting places we could visit. Breakfast was excellent and the restaurant food was good value and adequate, the pizzas were especially good. The waiter was very attentive and we were very chuffed to be given drinks on the house at the end of the meal. Room was warm and clean and beds very comfortable. We couldn't fault this hotel and will be staying here again
Would stay again
The hotel is situated to the west of the city centre in a fairly quiet area. It was a 10 -15 minute walk to Dam square and the street was served by three tram lines, one of which takes you all the way to the central train station. Our room was on the first floor to the rear of the hotel, so it was very quiet, but quite dark as the windows looked out onto the rear of neighbouring properties. It was exceptionally clean, well equipped and the bed was comfortable. We would have liked a bin in the room and a mini bar/small fridge, but these are only small niggles. Breakfast was plentiful, with a good choice and efficient service. The staff were courteous and knowledgeable and always polite. I would probably look for something slightly more central if I visited again, but wouldn't have any reservations about staying in the same hotel again.
Nothing fancy but a nice clean small hotel
After a friendly check-in, I found my room to be small and basic but had everything I needed. It was well finished and spotlessly clean. No mini-bar (which was just fine by me) and no controls in the room for temperature/air-conditioning (which would probably be OK except I visited on the hottest weekend of 2012). Staff were friendly and professional and breakfast was good. I'd be happy to stay there again.
4 day stay in hotel restaurant larende
it is totally good with this charge, and i recomend there.
Bruyant vu que ma chambre tombait sur la rue et la proximité d’un bar ouvert tardivement durant le week-end.
Ottima struttura, piccola, pulita, accogliente e a pochi minuti dalle maggiori attrazioni cittadine. Unica pecca la stanza al primo piano sulla strada è un po’ rumorosa, le finestre non sono insonorizzate.

Poorstay at Larende Hotel, bad female receptionist
My initial booking was excluding breakfast, however when I checked in, the Hotel asked me for an extra 35.86 euros for breakfast! Although I was clear to him that I booked it without breakfast on purpose!!! They receptinist on checkin was Ok, next day receptionist was very gentle and welcoming. However, the lady at checkout, if I was manager, I would give her a warning for her attitude and rudness with guests. All in all, room was good, no napkins for use except for toilette tissues. Bed mattress was very hard, pillows very light and cheap, bathing towel very cheap quality. I wanted to check breakfast for 1st and only day, it was average, jam, coffee, scrambled eggs and some fruit salad, that's all. Even if this is separate, decent hotels normally don't charge for 1 piece of .33 L of water bottle from minibar. In conclusion, I do not recommend to book in it again!
