Great location, staff super helpful, in checkin we got a map and details on what to see and where. Parking instructions were a bit confusing, but you will enter parking … will have one price - but when you get to hotel you pay for your parking there and they will give you a ticket to use to exit. Hotel is right in the middle of everything, and you can hear the street noise. Would stay here again for location alone.
Right in the middle of attractions and close to amenities the city had to offer
Te hotel was lovely close to everything and the staff were very helpful
The hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
prime location and cant beat the price
excellent location - super walkable old town. Room was very large and spacious. Even the bathroom had a balcony! only downside was the walls are extremely thin and could hear people talking.
I like over all of the hotel. If we can have adjustable air conditioning would be nice. Sometimes it is too warm inside the room event window is open. Also if the soundproofing between rooms improves would be much better. Conversation of next room is very clear to be heard.
Excellent location! Most helpful and agreeable staff. Great breakfast at the cafeteria beside the hotel. A couple of concerns - the room was very hot. No AC. As well, the room was not terribly quiet with a number of tavernas in the alley below our window. Nevertheless, we would stay here again.
GOOD LOCATION FOR CITY CORE
Although the room is a bit small, the desk in particular, the place is a fair value. - Due to religious festivities the street whe hotel is located was closed to vehicle traffic. - But the hotel attendant failed to call a taxi for us on departure. We had to walk the block with suitcases to the main avenue to stop a taxi on the go... normal practice for locals but unfriendly for visitors??
All good
It was ok. I understand that I was in Zaragoza for the festival so the prices of hotels increased. The hotel staff was wonderful and friendly, but the room was very dark and smaller than expected for the price I paid. Again, the staff was pleasant and breakfast was good but I don’t think I would stay there again
great staff, rooms were good. In the heart of the old town with everything in reach. Free and plentiful breakfast is a big plus.
Very clean. Very friendly staff. Brilliant location.
Excellent location. Helpful staff. Good breakfast
Very noisy room . Basic basic
A/C is turn off at night
Close and convenient to everything. Has attached restaurant and bar.
Wonderful location, close to many historical site.
The location is excellent, within walking distance of almost all the tourist attractions, churches, restaurants and stores. Personnel was helpful and very friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.
Ni e and clean property, most of tourist attractions are at walking distance. The only inconveniente is that to turn on the AC you have to call receptionist, once turned on they keep it for 1 hr and then they shut it down;
Fantastic location, great breakfast buffet- ask for a real coffee in the cafetería-helpful staff. If you’re there on a Saturday night prepare for noise. Earplugs a must!
The place is very good located and close to turistic areas and places of interest. The rooms are a bit noise and you can hear the neighboor but in general the place is fine.
The room & bed were small however that was all I required. The hotel is perfectly situated and good for walking to the major sights. I would stay there again.
Great city centre hotel.
Lovely hotel in the centre of the old town of zaragoza, a stone's throw from the basillica and the cathedral is behind the hotel. Breakfast was very nice and plentiful, i didn't have any of the bacon, eggs and sausage etc but my husband did and said it was cold but maybe that's the way the spanish like it. Lovely bar with good prices in the hotel. Plenty of bars and restaurants on doorstep. Plenty of shops if you like shopping right on the doorstep too. Staff were lovely and always very helpful. The only downside was all the noise in the streets at night and early hours, shouting etc, the worse night was Saturday night as it was continuous shouting and screaming but it certainly wouldn't put me off this hotel and I'd definitely stay there again and recommend it to family and friends.
Superb hotel, great location for exploring the city centre.
Good hotel in the city centre
Good hotel in the city centre, excellent location, room was clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. A bit noisy from the street.
Highly recommended
Great hotel! We had a good price and felt we receivec great value.
Walls are paper-thin, but nice staff
Zaragoza
Although the hotel was very central the room was noisy and beds hard. No WiFi no air con but at the price ok
Great staff and comfy room
Accommodating staff and a clean room. No complaints.
Sounds from the hallway, voices and people closing their doors, and elevator were loud after midnight.. The bed was too firm. Staff were helpful and price was good. Overall, a good enough choice.
An enjoyable night, close to places of interest. Had to do a tour of the city due to not knowing the location of the hotel to the car park!
ok for a short stay if you dont have any expectations
The Position makes it all worth while!
I booked this hotel for my parents who are in their late but lively 70s. The position is superb. You are right by the Basilica, the main Pilar Plaza and La Seo Cathedral. There are good restaurants nearby (come out of hotel, turn left and on the corner, attached to the hotel is a place that does a good 3 course menu with bread and a bottle of wine for 9Euros and Ann, one of the waitresses, speaks good English and is lovely) and all the main Roman museums are within 10 mins walk. These are well worth a visit and, if you're a teacher, take some evidence and you get in free. My parents' room was OK. A little dark and not spacious but perfectly fine. The aircon was centrally controlled and seemed to go off at about 9am so the room could get hot. However, the position and friendly (though not very fluent in English) staff were great. The coffee at breakfast was foul though apparently!
close to sights
pleasant
...
Great location, lousy hotel
This old hotel in the old town is in serious need of renovation. Tacky and not very clean. Room was sweltering in winter. You have to ask the desk clerk to turn off the heating to your room. When it is on, vents pump really hot air into the room and does so very noisily. Impossible to sleep.
everything is on your doorstep
We arrived late at night on the yearly grand festival day in Zargoza. It was like like arriving in the French Quarter of New Orleans during mardi gras!! A stressfull arrival but the hotel staff where lovely. I speak limited spanish and he receptionist was welcoming and helpful. The room was very clean and very comfortable. Although it was noisy outside due to festivities we had a great nights sleep. Would highly recommend as price fantastic and a top class location. We will be back one day.
better than price and star rating
room was spacious, clean and comfortable. i have had worse rooms in better hotels. ideal location: 2 minute-walk from the basilica , the cathedral, the restaurants and the river. staff were friendly. only downside: early deliveries for the cafe were a bit noisy outside.
In the heart of the old city
With GPS aim for underground parking at 50m as not possible to stop in front of hotel.
Great Location!
You can find a better location. The hotel is across the street from the Plaza Pilar. You can walk to everything in Old Zaragoza. The street is full of things to eat and buy. Parking is really convenient, right underneath the plaza. Our room had a balcony away from the street and noise was not a problem at all.
Great location
The Husa Via Romana is right in the heart of the action, which is mainly why we picked it. It is very easy to find, 100 metres from the Roman bridge although not much good if you turn up in a car as there is nowhere to pull up and unload. We were on a motorcycle so stopped on the pavement, no problem for a few minutes as the spanish are quite relaxed about that sort of thing. Very helpful staff and rooms comfortable, it is noisy up to midnight but after that it calmed down. Great place for an interesting city break, plenty of places to eat ,drink or just look at.
NOT IMPRESSED
BETTER HOTEL OPTIONS CLOSE BY
Great location, fine hotel
Pretty average hotel at this price point for Spain. It's located near the major sights of Zaragoza, and there's a parking garage that's a short walk away. Room was fine, but the attendant at the front desk was chatting with his mother every time we tried to ask him something.
Great Location
The hotel was right next to the main square in the city. Lots of stuff to see and do right out the door.
Great Location
Just off the main square, 100m from the river, round the corner from the Roman Forum Museum. Also plenty of restaurants in the area. Its location is its main asset and the hotel is a perfectly acceptable 3* quality and good value for the price.
Perfect location near the main tourist sights!
Very nice hotel for the money!, nice size bathroom in our room and a good hearty breakfast was included with our stay!
Centrally located
Easy to find but parking a bit pricey and down the road. Central position and good restaurants nearby. Air con necessary as it was 40 deg when we got there and the room stayed nice and cool all night. Wifi was available but not free.
Great Location
The hotel is clean, has great location, nearby restaurants and bars.
Spacious room and great location
Hotel has a great location but can be noisy at night, room very big only problem i had was there were hairs in the bathroom!Receptionists okay, Great for an overnight stop and base for sightseeing in Zaragoza would go back again
Too noisy
Although the receptionist was very friendly and helpful, we had a really bad night at this place. Door slamming until after 2am, people screeming in the hallways, and constant banging noice from the outside kept us up more than half of the night.
Flott hotell, men uten parkering.
Bra rom, meget sentralt.
Opção no centro histórico
Kanske lite lyhört, men allt annat perfekt.
Ótima localização. Quarto espaçoso.
Bella struttura praticamente a piazza del Pilar. Camera ampia. Consigliato
Trevlig personal i receptionen!
Excelente hotel!!
Ottima posizione
Posizione ottima , stanza grande.
Ótima localização, próximo a muitas atrações turísticas.
Voltaria
Localização fantástica, estacionamento ayuntamiento a poucos passos do hotel.
O ponto alto é a Localização.
Super Lage Zimmer sauber Bett bequem Personal sehr freundlich
Ubicacion perfecta, limpieza y personal amable.
Hotel Don Jaime 54 | Hotel in Zaragoza | Travala.com
It’s an average hotel, near all the attractions. The staffs are always smiles, and the cleaning is good. Close to the busy area and to get food or a bar to hang out easily. But the heating is a bit old, making loud when starting, and I felt very dry in sleeping.
