LOCATION
I liked the location. Very convenient when looking for a place to eat. The staff was very friendly and respectful, always ready to help you. The breakfast service was great. On the other hand, I believe there is a lack of maintenance, I would say mostly periodic. In our first day we were moved to another room because the AC was not working. In our new room, the shower head was damaged with water splashing everywhere but down. After a complaint this problem was resolved. Another issue we had was with the bathroom sink. The drain seemed to be clogged and the sink filled up very quickly, making it difficult to use it.
Thank you
Amazing clean room and courteous service
Good area
Muy bien atencion de personal
This hotel is extremely clean and it smells so good in there. The staff is very nice and friendly. It also has a restaurant with a variety of foods and the prices were very affordable. I'd definitely stay there again.
Not much. Staff didn’t speak any English at all. Difficulty to communicate. Restaurant wasn’t good at all. Open bowels of condiments shared from one table to the next. Kinda disgusting
Great hotel in a great location for a great price. Clean, hot shower, fast wifi, and in a great neighborhood with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. I would definitely stay here again when I'm in Mexico City!
Todo bien. Buena ubicación, buen precio, excelente opción.
Good location
The hotel is good, the restaurant across the street is excellent, the area are just ok.

Recommended
Good location, near Reforma. Near transportation. Not modern, but clean. If you cN include the breakfast option. The restaurant has good food. Great price.
Service very good I’m recommend this hotel good price customer service very good
I stay here at least twice a year. I love the restaurant staff and have had a consistently good experience at the hotel.
Good
Hotel was in a good location and reasonably priced. Restaurant and bar downstairs provided great service.
Need improve tv Actual internet does not work
Noche hotel, close to Reforma
Restorant manager and staff Really good service good food Fresh and delicios
Everything good
Many places to eat close by and close to major public transportation routes. Clean towels changed and housekeeping kept our room nice and tidy. Did not like that the area was very dated and lonely at night but did not feel unsafe. elevator was old and noisy, bed was extremely hard, was charged 3 pesos for drinking cups, I asked for an extra pillow and never got it and asked if they had earplugs and the person at the desk looked annoyed by my question. I will never stay here again when I come back to CDMX.
Rooms are large and have nice furniture
Good location. Rooms were great, really clean. Beds were spacious and comfortable. Close to mass transportation. I will improve the cleanliness of the restroom. The shower needed to be descaled really bad. Water did not come out properly. I used the hand towel to kind of clean it and it was gross. Lots of build up. It needs to be part of the daily cleaning routine.
Centrally located, clean, security conscious, courteous staff, convenient and delicious dining.
All was good 👍
Very pleasant Junior Suite with large bathtub
Everything is good l like the Hotel :)
Fine spot, lacking a fridge was a surprise
Limpio, moderno, ejecutivo y cómodo
Muy bueno en general
Good
Management is rude. They are not accommodating to your needs. Even if your room is for four people they will only give you two towels. They don’t give you enough PT. Hotel doesn’t have fridge, microwave or coffee. This is not a four star hotel.
Great location very close to Paseo de la Reforma. Hotel offer a water bottle but no cup of any type it has safe in room but not iron
Muy limpio, el personal muy amable. El desayuno incluido fue delicioso
Clean room. Excellent location. Friendly staff.
Better pictures than reality
The hotel is well located, one block from Insurgents. In a basic hotel, with a basic, almost rude service.
Good location
Awesome 👍
Quiet and Safe
First of all I want to start by saying that I’m very upset highly upset I booked 5 rooms months before I get to the hotel by 2pm with a party of 9 they allowed us to keep our luggage there in the lobby till check in never once did they mention 2 rooms where over booked then out of the 5 rooms we only got 2 but 1 was also not given to us cuz they could not open the door we set there waiting for 1 hr for them to finally tell us we will not open the door cuz we can’t open it I just wanna say I will never book with hotel Astor they made me look like an ass me and my wife had to leave to another hotel and my cousin and her husband had to book at another hotel as well I’m absolutely disappointed very disappointed never will I book I’ve been a loyal customer for 2 years already but that ended yesterday
Pros: clean rooms, big beds, excellent servers in the restaurant Cons: no menus at breakfast - the waiters just show you pictures of dishes (there are roughl
No hot water, no pressure
the reception staff isn’t very friendly. actually rude. they look like government employees with a terrible sense of cordiality. not booking there again.
Love this hotel. Bed was very uncomfortable. I told front desk and they showed me two other rooms and didn’t find another bed that was suitable , must just be the king beds. I stayed there befor and it was very comfy with two queen beds. Over all was a great stay. Staff was great.
I was here for a business meeting and it was also during Gay Pride. I found the proximity to the parade and festivities a fun way to experience Mexico in all of it beauty in a uniquely fascinating way. The Taqueria across the street was also a welcome addition in that it was a convenient meeting place to meet friends.
Hard bed rude staff
The room was pretty cool with the Jacuzzi
Hotel is just a simple accommodation. It's worth the price. The good thing is that the area is very safe
Not bad not great
Hot water either took about 20 mins to get hot. Or was just mildly warm. Super small elevator. Great restaurant with good service.
The rooms were good size and so soft regarding the price
Perfect location, friendly staff, good breakfast. We stayed in hotel for 8 days and every day we enjoyed more. It’s very close to many tourist locations. Very clean , good A/C. Fast & reliable internet. I will definitely go to this hotel again with this good price.
Room was clean but beds were not comfortable. They were not hotel-grade beds. The biggest complaint is about the front desk people. Housekeepers cleaned the room but forgot to replace the towels. When I asked them about it, they were not happy with that and seemed like they were about to accuse me of misplacing the clean towels. Guys, these are a couple of cents worth towels. Second problem was that the key was not working and asked them to take a look at it. The guy checked it with an unhappy face and didn’t fix it at all. I was supposed to leave the door open when I went out because I didn’t want to deal with them anymore and checked out earlier. So long story short, it was not a pleasing experience even though the hotel was located in a great spot.
A great place
Super friendly staff and very helpful, second stay, i will stay there in the futuro, plenty of places to walk to, love it
I love my stay there.
The staff was very friendly and help us with our many questions about the country and many places, but one time we came back and our room was being held open by our dirty towels and there wasn't a cleaning maid around.
Guest or prisoners
Hotel is ok clean BUT the night shift On the reception need to be removed, he don't open the gate and keep us hostage ( our taxi to airport was waiting outside and we was short on time) he need the remote if not we need to stay ....this is illegal in any country !! I told him the remote is in the room and he have my credit card and we need to leave now , no the door keep close and we are locked, I had to get really loud till he open the gate, may be the cleaning lady told him the remote is there....we are a couple in our late 40 we travel a lot and we experienced a lot in the last 20 years but that a hotel keep his guests like prisoners was new.
Fue muy agradable la estadía en el hotel . Todo muy lindo .
Area Gem
Good location away from the fast track but yet all in short walking distance. Nice breakfast.
Great Hotel
Great Hotel, friendly staff and clean
GOOD HOTEL
Five stars
Amazing stayed
Newly remodeled hotel close to many Mexico City attractions. Nice friendly staff.
Frequently no hot water, taking shower with cold water, when called the front desk they continously argues with you. You have to buy ice everytime when needed. No iron, room not cleaned until late in the afternoon.
Lovely neighborhood hotel with extremely kind staff. WiFi was excellent, & I was able to work while there as well with no problems. Room was quite large, & jetted tub was much bigger than the pictures indicated. I really enjoyed that amenity. It is close to bus stops, which is also rather convenient.
For your safety do not stay at this hotel
I had a horrible experience. I was sexually assaulted by a male receptionist. He came into my room and pretended to "fix" the AC when nothing was wrong with it and stared at me for a minute while proceeded to play with his genitalia. When he left I locked the door and slept with one eye open.
Okay Stay
The hotel staff weren't always the friendliest, with rhe exception of the cleaning and cooking staff, they were always so friendly and attentive. The room looks a lot better in the pictures than it actually is. The breakfast was simple but delightful and tasty. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, and the rug, tile, and shower are dated.
Es un lugar limpio y tranquilo para el precio. Nuestros desayunos estuvieron incluidos. El personal es muy amable
Great place and very close to a lot of places to visit!
This is a clean and well kept hotel near many interests points.
Alamo is the worst company ever, they do not respect the previous deal with Expedia, makes look like a poor and less professional company ever
We were on our Mexico trip. Little skeptical about the quality but the hotel rooms were very clean and room service was very prompt. Restaurant has nice food. There were no issues except intermittent wifi drop. Nice and friendly staff.
Location, 6 min walk to La Reforma.
Very clean rooms and restaurant. I don't speak spanish but staff in restaurant was very helpful and patient while I explain my vegetarian meals. Very close to many restaurants and a shopping mall at walking distance. Liked staying here.
CLEAN
Overall, the experience was good. The front desk staffs speak English and that’s really what matters the most to us. Pros- 1. Central location 2. All the waiters are very friendly at the restaurant 3. The HK staff was really nice too 4. Front desk staffs speak English 5. Clean room 6. Has AC Cons- 1. The security guard or door guy at night once asked for a tip from us. He doesn’t speak English but we understood that he’s asking for the tip. It was when the time we asked for extra towels one night since we put DND in our door. I mean, we actually give tips, but that’s not the way you ask for it, like demanding for it. So disappointing. At the end of the day, we still recommend this place. Would definitely come back.
Don’t Stay Here
The hotel looked dirty. The bed was super hard. The bathroom was very tight & small. I couldn’t even fit in between the toilet & the wall. The windows were cover with aplastic view of the downtown area. There was a local restaurant with music all night past midnight. It kept me awake all night.
Great location. Friendly staff. Immaculate room.
This is my 2nd time staying at this hotel it’s an amazing place staff is great they make you feel welcome and the gentlemen at the restaurant is the best
Great location, staff and room. The restaurant’s food is delicious. Stayed here twice & will continue to stay here every visit. Price of room is great as well.
Great location, staff is very friendly and accommodating
Friendly staff and comfortable room with reasonable price. Room service had a varied menu. Parking was appreciated. What was not appreciated were some loud parties in some motel rooms, I wasn't expecting loud music and loud drunk ppl on a Monday/Tuesday night. Other than that, it was fine. They could also use a small microwave/frigobar
Staff is very helpful and the hotel is clean. Is very close to the historic center. Great hotel for the price.
The hotel was ok friendly nice staff and good trgggg
