I booked the basic room so it didn’t have a window which I wasn’t aware of, but otherwise the room was good and it was large. The young man working at the front desk was very helpful in assisting me how to catch the AirPort Express bus and the metro stops needed for La Sagrada. This hotel is very conveniently located as it’s right on the main strip of Las Ramblas, so it was easy to walk around and see things. Plus many dining options nearby. I did have trouble place and be aware there is a long stairway to get to the front desk which made it a bit difficult dragging in a big piece of luggage, Thankfully they were so kind enough to let me check in early.

Good location. Easy check and friendly staff. Unfortunately after our first night my girlfriend discovered bites on her and we found bed bugs in our room. They moved us to a better room and didn’t have any other problems.

Great location on La Ramble. Everything walkable. Few block walk to Hop On Hop Off. Basic but clean. Would stay here again. Does get loud when the clubs close ~5-7a. note: NOT ada compliant. Many stairs to lobby. However, there is a li ft to the rooms.

Very basic accommodation with no common space, kitchen or other facilities that a hostal usually offers. Price is absolutely ludicrous for what you get. I paid two hundred sixty five euros per night for this. It's clean and in a good location but otherwise as low end as you can get. Also the wifi is useless, terrible, I had to go outside to get online.

Overall not bad at all when i checked in i was charged a 15 € city tax? Im not sure what that was because i swear when i paid in full online it was all included. The location was overall amazing its right on that main street near the city center. The beds where very uncomfortable though, but i realize you you pay most for the location and not for the beds. It was pretty clean and the workers were generally friendly. I would stay here again. PS i would bring a blanket becuase they only give you a sheet and it does get a little cold at night. At least when we visited it was.

Great value, knocked down for 25 steps to walk up

First off, it is a very good value. Not expensive, very good location, and they have someone available 24 hours, and clean, basic room, with small bathroom, but nice powerful (though small) shower. The negative is as I wrote, very basic room, and really not much room to be in, no view at all, at least from our room. I would have given 4 stars based on the value though, as it is so inexpensive. Where they lose 2 stars is to get to reception, you need to go up 25 steps from the street level. If it is any other establishment like going to a restaurant, not a big deal. However, when it is a hotel, and everyone has suitcases that can easily be 30-45 pounds each, not fun. Add in a bad knee, and it is ridiculous. Something like that, they should have posted on their main page to let a traveler know, then it is up to them if it is a big deal or not. With my bad knee, and the fact then that my wife and daughter had to lug up their suitcase, as I had the bigger one by far, and had the issue, it is something that had I (or others) known prior, may very well have selected another hotel. Or at least let people know in the confirmation, and offer to bring luggage up if needed. They offered to on the way out, but really, not needed going down 25 steps as opposed to up it.

Great location. The staff were friendly. Room was absolutely freezing. When we asked about the heat they said it was working. At least they brought us extra blankets.

The location here was great! Right next to the underground, though we actually walked to a lot of the places we ended up going. There is a lot of stuff located on the street- restaurants and supermarkets- making it super convenient. The room was clean and nice. Staff was great and very responsive. The room was available so they let us check in early and let us store our luggage the day we checked out. There was an issue with out shower one night (it was leaking into the downstairs), but they immediately provided us with another room to shower in and the next day while we were out the issue was fixed. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location and helpful staff

After arriving from an all night flight, they let me check in early to a nice room with a balcony overlooking La Rambla. Desk staff spoke English and was helpful with coupons, directions, checking in and printing boarding passes for my next flight, calling a taxi for me and carrying my heavy suitcase down two flights of stairs upon check out. Location is excellent about mid-way on La Rambla. You can walk anywhere from here quickly and safely. The location made it easy for me, a senior solo female traveler to go out at night for walks, food or a drink. Room was spotless and there are a few vending machines at reception area. As other reviewers noted, the hot water in the shower is both touchy and scalding hot. I bumped the handle with my elbow reaching for shampoo and the results made for a very uncomfortable day. Not safe for a child unsupervised. Also the air conditioner seemed to have two settings: off and on. I usually turned it off after the room cooled down or it would get too cold...which is actually a good thing to combat the heat in Barcelona.

The location of this hotel is excellent, right on Las Ramblas and by the famous market Boqueria. The room is clean and has airconditioning which was wonderful in the summer heat and humidity. The owner and staff are very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommended!

Property was very basic but very clean. Room tidied daily, clean towels everyday, toiletries provided and good air conditioning. Appreciate room only 2 star but would have been nice to have tea/coffee facilities. Hotel generally quiet but got a little noisy towards the end of our stay. Staff friendly enough and helpful when approached.

We moved to this place from a hotel down the street. This place was quiet and clean. Not like the horrible hotel we left behind. Everything described on website was accurate. Staff was very friendly. This place is in great location and worth money you pay.

The hostal is in a great location right on Las Ramble. There are about 20 steps to get to the check in desk and no elevator, so if you have suitcases it can be a challange. It can be quite loud with street sounds if you are at the front of the building, and the walls are very thin so you hear people in the next room. Basically you get what you pay fo. A no frills hostel with small rooms. Don't be deiceved by the curtain thinking a nice large window is behind it is a very small window to one side.

Very clean and well-maintained. Basic accommodation, inner bedroom was quiet. Bed was too firm, but an additional blanket was provided when requested. Location was excellent.

A perfect place for a practical couple!

Much more than what we expected. Location is great. It is on the very busy street of La Rambla. The room is clean. Service is great. Daily room service is included. Check-in and out services were very smooth. They are fluent in English. Amenities are very minimal, but has all the basic amenities you need: a private bathroom with high-pressure/hot shower, a comfortable bed, blackout curtains, daily room service, and fast/stable Wifi. My sister and I stayed here for our city break based on the reviews and I'm happy with our choice. The hotel is fairly bare bones, but to be honest, that's all you need for two nights. It felt secure and they gave as a room with a balcony which I had asked for if possible. Shower was good. I was slightly suspicious of the blanket provided mainly because I've seen far too many TV shows about them never being cleaned, but who knows. Also I don't think the air con worked, but tbh it wasn't hot enough that it mattered. They said we could leave our bags after check out to pick up later which was super helpful. Location couldn't be better, all those reviews that say its noisy are being precious. You shut the window and you can barely hear any street noise. If you need a central place to stay that safe and not to pricey, I definitely recommend.

Simple stay nothing elaborate. Room is small with a small TV and small bathroom. Shower was extremely hot and shower handle very touchy so use caution can burn you. Location is good. On the main strip La Rambla with restaurants and shopping near.

This hotel is like an oasis in the craziness of the Las Ramblas. Our room was large, very clean and basic. It was all we needed for a weekend in Barcelona. The reception is open 24 hours and the staff were very helpful.

Perfect location in the gothic area, Metro and buses are just a few steps away, Shopping and great eats are all around you. The Mercado is just 1/2 a block from you were you can try interesting street foods and buy meats of all kinds.

Excellent hotel

My friends and I had an excellent 3 night stay here! The hotel was perfect for what we wanted, very reasonably priced and a perfect location! The room was very spacious and clean, and a safe was provided which was very useful. The staff were very friendly and helpful- they gave us recommendations of places to go and restauruants, and had lots of discount codes for popular tourist attractions such as the cable car at Montjuic Mountian and the Hard Rock Café. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a affordable room to stay in for a few nights in the centre of Barcelona!

Everything about the place was good. It’s less than a minute from the subway, right on Las Ramblas, clean and neat, very friendly staff. Couldn’t have been happier with my stay. The room was basic and affordable - all you really need. Used as a place to shower and sleep and more than met what I wanted.

For value for money I couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough. Small in size and the location is second to none. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the staff (particularly the gentleman who worked the evening shift while I was there) were helpful and attentive. Highly recommend.

Awesome Experience

This place was perfect if you want to be in the center of it all. Room was comfy and I had a gorgeous view of Las Ramblas. Staff was really helpful and professional. All three receptions did absolutely a wonderful job making me feel safe. Thumbs up

Clean and cheap

Stayed in room 104. It was quiet and very, very clean. The room is small. You get a bed, a bathroom, a small TV, and bit of storage space. It was perfect for the price. The location can't be beat: right in front of the metro stop. I will stay here again.

Fantastic location

We were happy with the size of the room, we had two suitcases that we could leave open on the floor. The room was serviced daily which we hadn't expected so that was a treat. The location was brilliant! Only 20 metres to a metro stop and just down from the markets. We were on the street side of the third floor and barely heard noise from the street. The metro stop is on the same line as the main train station. Plenty of options for breakfast close by. Would stay again.

This hotel is near metro station and feels safe to come back to at night. There are tons of tourists walking here at night. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Central location, clean, welcoming staff

Central location on La Rambla, friendly and helpful hotel staff! Only small rooms but had everything you need, fresh towels, clean bedding, a safe etc! My friend and I were able to leave our bags there during the day after checking out, so we didn't have to carry them round all day. Great value for money if you're looking for a basic hotel, somewhere you can have a good night sleep after a busy day sightseeing. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

Hidden in plain sight

Right smack bang in the middle of Las Ramblas, it is the most ideal location! As you step out of the hotel door you are in the thriving HUB of Barcelona that is Las Ramblas. Right outside of Liceu Metro station, and close to the Gothic quarter. This location has something for everyone! From all the small boutiques to the amazing food. We had the best Paella in SPAIN, right down the street from our hotel.

Great location near metro and near center of town. Only problem was that the AC could not adequately cool the room. The thermostat said it was set at 20C but it seemed it was much warmer. It was difficult to sleep. But I would still recommend the place. Very clean. Great window that opens to the street, etc.

Very nice hotel

I stayed in Las Flores hotel on las Ramblas street for 3 nights .. The hotel is situated mid way on this very lively busy street full of restaurants, shops and street entertainers .. My stay in Las Ramblas hotel was very comfortable.. Room was large with 2 comfortable beds.. A safe was located in wardrobe something I always look out for . Wifi was strong but did falter a bit at times .. The shower was excellent very strong flow and hot water a plenty .. I didn't partake in breakfast so can't make comment here .. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel for value and location in city ..

Convenient Location

Fantastic location at the door step of Liceu station that makes it easy to travel by metro to places of interest. Also a 3 minute walk to the meeting point of runner beans for the free walking tour. The aerobus from/to airport to plaza Catalunya is also convenient.

Nice place on the LasRamblas

Chose to stay here due to its location. Staff were great. Hostal was clean, secure entrance into hostal. You do hear some of the noise of the Las Ramblas at night but it didn't bother us. Don't leave your balcony door open at night or the mosquitos will get you. Would definitely stay here again

Great location, close to everything in Gothic area. Day staff was extremely helpful and friendly, evening and morning staff were not. Ask for rooms in back, so street noise in front. Would recommend, and stay again. There quite a few steps up to reception, so wouldn't recommend if you have large suitcases!

Fairly good hotel, fantastic location & good price

Fantastic location, shops such as mini supermarket, coffee shops and pharmacy are all very close by. The room we stayed in was basic, it had the AC, TV, and private bathroom. The AC did smell weird now and again. The hostel is fairly clean and the room service staff are helpful. The owner is also very nice; its just his sons who need to stop staring at guests daughters & wife. If you want to stay within la rambla area then this hostel is good in terms of location and price wise, otherwise, you are better off staying away from tourist areas as everything is overpriced.

My birthday & traveling with mum

Fantastic hostel/hotel wright in the centre of las ramblas, close to market, metro & walking distance to the gothic qtr. The room was spotlessy clean. My only issue is when i checked in i had booked a twin room as i was traveling with my mother. Somewhere during the booking process there was a problem, i had a double allocated to me & nothing was available until the next day ... i paid an extra €30 x 3 nights & we were moved to a triple room overlooking las ramblas which was perfect. I shall be intouch with hotels.com about this booking issue & hopefully a refund of the extra amount that i had to pay will be returned to me as i use hotels.com for all my bookings world wide. Hotel staff friendly & very helpful. Even with my intial problem with our room id be happy to stay here again!!! Book room 102!!!

Good location, but not much else

Hotel is in a great location, otherwise it was a bit disappointing. Breakfast, which was included, was very sub par and a big disappointment, was not expecting gourmet, but this was way below minimal expectations. Desk staff was less than forthcoming with with information and you had to ask about everything and they seemed to resent meeting basic requests (i.e. extra room key). Need a key to turn on AC, so every time we came back the room was uncomfortably hot.

Horrible staff

On La Rambla, thats about the best I can say about it. Room was decent, small, clean, as advertised in the pictures. Best to prepay for parking if you drive. Checkin was simple enough, however the staff are rude. Its as if you are inconveniencing them by showing up. They monitor your every movement, not a single smile or gracias. Barely acknowledged payment. Only stay here for location if there is no other openings on La Rambla.

Rambling

In the heart of Las Ramblas, this small hotel is a great bargain, and the staff was very helpful with directions, advice, etc. Bathroom and shower were huge and nice. Room was modern, sort of minimalist design, and comfortable for one. Be aware that entrance is up one long flight of stairs, if you are hauling bags. Nice breakfast, too.

Great location, good value

Excellent location on La Rambla. Extremely close to Liceu Metro and La Boqueria Market. The bed was small, but the room was a decent size. Bathroom was nice. You have to carry your bags to the reception upstairs, but there is an elevator to take your bags the rest of the way upstairs. If location is important to you, this hotel offers a good value.

Very Good Location.

Located half way along La Ramblas. Close to old city. Two star. Necessary to climb to first floor. Clean, but a little cramped. Staff were moderately helpful. We paid 125 Euros per night, room only, a little steep I felt. Front rooms look down on noisy but vibrant street. A reasonable bet if making a late booking.

Great little place in fabulous location.

Great little place right on Las Ramblas. At first we were given a tiny room with just a bed but when we asked if it was possible to get a room on a higher floor we were given a larger room with a sofa as well as a bed which was much nicer. The little balcony was nice but it's a pity there are not stools to sit on to enjoy the view from it.

Central Barcelona on a budget

Tiny door on main street led to the delight that was this hostel. Modern. clean and right on Las Ramblas, two minutes from the metro. Friendly helpful staff not only carried our heavy bags up the stairs, but gave us maps and tips on where to eat. The only reason it does not get top scores is because of the lack of a lift from the front door to the reception which meant climbing quite a few steps, and the window in the bedroom was obscure glass so there was no view. I would stay here over expensive hotels anytime!

Great location right on La Rambla and a block from La Boqueria Market. Since it's on such a busy street beware of street noise at night if your window faces La Rambla.
