The lady who was cleaning was very rude she was making a big deal leaving property at 11,15 am There is absolutely nothing around the property

No reception, they sent me a mail at the last moment that there is no one to speak to and there is a code for the door. Luckily i had internet access otherwise i would have needed to find a new place to stay in the middle of the night. they are not reliable people do not stay there

The cabin was very clean and cozy. The small town was very peaceful and the locals are very friendly. The view from the cabin is beautiful and serene. Communication with the Harbour View company is very prompt and friendly. They were ready to assist with whatever was needed. I would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay here overall. We stayed our last two days in Iceland at Harbour View because of its proximity to Blue Lagoon and the airport. The pictures make the inside appear bigger than it actually is but it’s very well equipped. It was a little tight with 2 adults, a teenager, and our luggage, but not horrible. The bed in the back room is also shoved against a wall so one person will be blocked in if sleeping two to the bed. Bath products smelled nice and dishware was also quite nice. We were booked right next to our friends we were traveling with which made it great going back and forth between units.

Our family of four with two small children stayed four days. It was an amazing experience. Absolutely stunning view with a great location to amenities. Clean, well cared for. Very simple and smooth check in process. No complaints whatsoever, and highly recommend!

It is different, quiet area and close to the Blue Lagoon. We liked and recommend it.

Stay at Harbour View!

Clean, comfortable, and convenient for our last night in Iceland. Near enough to Keflavík (40min) making for an easy process to get home. They let us check in early, too.

The property is great for a couple, but lacks room for 4 adults & 2 kids & luggage. Overall a lovely place to stay.

Perfect little cottage

This little cottage was perfect for my husband, teenage daughter and me. So clean, well appointed. We loved it. Comfortable, quiet and clean. Perfect for our first night in Iceland.

Clean and nice…very well assistance when needed

Nice idea, but.....

What a quirky place!! Initially we loved it compact but had everything we needed. We found the place very easily using Google Maps. An interesting location in the middle of the fishing port / industrial units but what great sea views. Our only disappointment was that one of the 3 units we rented had no heating and it was cold! When we phoned the helpline they promised to come look while we were out eating, upon our return a fan heater had been plugged in but that really didn't help a lot!!

It is cozy, clean and comfortable.

Good spot but some frustrating elements

The address for this doesn’t pull up correctly on google maps; you have to pull it up in Apple Maps (no idea what someone would have done if they didn’t have an iPhone). We drove around for 25 minutes looking for it before we found it on Apple Maps. Furthermore the smoke detector beeped about 3 times at random through the night which was incredibly frustrating since we travel home tomorrow and really needed a good night’s sleep. Finally, you are not able to control the thermostat; it was very warm when we got here, so we kept a window open all night. The blinds blew around in the wind creating a lot of noise.

The sink almost doesn't work at all. It took 30 minutes to let the water go away. Tried to contact them, but no one answers the call.

The floors are heated!! Amazing

Communication was excellent, always a prompt reply. Location was easy to find. Check-in was easy. We were allowed to check in a couple of hours early so we could rest before our evening at the Blue Lagoon; hugely appreciated that courtesy. The view of the harbor was wonderful. The cabin was like staying in a glass box which was very cool. The decor was sleek and modern. The room divider kept the sleeping area VERY dark. Everything was very clean and tidy. Close to grocery and dining. Would love to stay here again.

Location is what we needed for a flight out the next day, but didn’t want to be right under the airport.

Need plug ins in the bathroom. Everything else was great.

Clean, Modern, Quiet. Excellent private cabin. After long days of sightseeing, getting to your own private, warm cozy cabin was an amazing experience. I had driven all around to view the northern lights. On my second night at Harbour View, I stepped outside to watch the stars, only to find the northern lights right from the porch.

Very modern and cozy cabin on the water front. Close to the Blue Lagoon. Everything you need in the cabin!

The cabins were cute, nice, modern and seemed fairly new. We were a group of 3 cabins and all were just as advertised. Bice and comfortable, excellent coffee, and safe location.

Nice, new Scandinavian-style cabins overlooking the bay. On the edge of town (but still walkable to restaurants). Cabins had more space than typical hotel room, including a small kitchen and couch. Heated floors in bathroom was a warm bonus! Bedroom is small (bed up against the wall on one side), but remainder of unit is great for lounging.

The property is very clean and quietly located near the harbor. Very close to Blue lagoon.

Great location for airport

We only stayed in this property for one night in preparation for departing the country the following day. It was clean and spacious and conveniently located. There was good food close by, as well as amenities like a grocery store and a bank. Recommend!

Love Waterfront, close to eating establishments, super cute and comfortable. could have used some ice available somewhere. Definitely reccomend.

If you are looking for a place to stay near the airport or are traveling around Reykjanes peninsula, this is a fantastic option. The space is simple, clean, and comfortable. The views are wonderful, looking out to both the water and a field of cute sheep and lambs. Parking is very convenient and the communication with the host was very reliable.

Everything was in good condition, cute cabin with a great view. Super close to hiking trails and 10 min to the Blue Lagoon. Not much for eating out if you are picky like us. We did use the kitchen and it was sufficient for small easy meals. No microwave. But it did have a stove, fridge, toaster and hot water kettle. All cooking utensils included. Bring your own salt and pepper or seasonings.

Cozy by the sea.

Wonderful little cottages by the sea. A great way to enjoy comforts and a more authentic slice of Icelandic life. The small pasture of baby sheep playing right outside our window really sealed the deal. We would love to stay here again.

The picture of the view out of the window is ni longer the same. The harbor is lined with old truck tires and has abandoned rusting boats.

Such a great stay!

Good place to stay. It should include a note that there is no reception office. It is self-service which I didn’t know until I checked my email and found one with the code to unlock the key box next to the door. Beside that everything is good

Cleverly designed small space in good location for a short stay on the Reykjanes peninsula. Well appointed and comfortable, though might begin to feel cramped for more than two people staying more than a night or two. Walking distance to eating places and grocery store. Recommended.

Google maps gave accurate directions and it was easy to find. Self check-in and check-out and recommended if you're not very high maintenance. The kitchenette has 2 induction cooktops, cookware, flatware, etc. There was a Nespresso machine and a kettle. Only stayed one night after having been to Blue Lagoon and to have a shorter drive to the airport the next day, didn't get to explore the local area that much but it was perfectly clean, well-designed, and great for a one night stay.

Everything was great, including the location.

Great location. 10 min from Blue Lagoon, 25 minutes from KEF airport, perfect to visit Volcano. Very unique architecture and convenient. Perfect for a couple or a Family of 4. We are 2 adults and two Kids.

I loved the property. Beautiful view. Perfect size. 2 issues- the front door got stuck a few times and the room was a little cold. Other than that I recommend it. Easy access and easy check in and out.

Beautiful first and last stay here. The bed was the comfiest and was perfect for our tired feet when we arrived. The view of the harbor was really nice. Updated amenities. Kitchen was supplied with all that you need for cooking. We will def come back when we visit Iceland again.

Cute little cottage right on the water! Plenty of restaurants within a 5-minute drive. Cottage was extremely clean and 20-minutes from airport. Perfect little spot to spend the night before flying back home.

Cool place

A very cool place to stay near Blue Lagoon! Modern and comfortable.

Property overlooks the harbour and is very convenient to the active volcano. The units share the property with campers and is very windy. The units appear to be suitable for 4 adults, but really are best for 2. The bedroom is tiny and the door to the bedroom is a thin pocket door. No breakfast included. Overall, I would rate as excellent for 2 and fair-good for 4.

Comfortable Stay

We stayed overnight. The facilities were clean but a bit cramped and basic. Would have liked a bit more comfort including a slightly better equipped abs bigger bathroom. We stayed in Iceland for a week and paid around the same price for this hotel and the Magma ( appreciate it’s a different location) but the Magma had much better finish of the property

Experience tiny-house living. Communication was easy and smooth and place was very clean with beautiful harbor views.

Charming But Overheated.

These are very charming little cottages that offer a clean place to spend the night. Our door would not lock, and someone came to fix it. The heat was on non-stop, so we had to keep the windows open, causing the shade in the bedroom to flap. The woman who maintains the cottages is very helpful.

My Husband, Son (age 17) and I stayed here July of 2021. It was just perfect for our needs. Clean, Comfortable beds, Black out shades, Nice shower!

We were unable to stay. No service at all.

We never received the lock box code email to get in. There was no office. We can not make phone calls. There was no one to help us and we had to find a different hotel. We will dispute the charges.

Amazing Place

This was an AMAZING first place to stay after arriving in Iceland. It is only about a 30-45 minute drive from the Keflavik Airport & check-in was a breeze. And the little apartment like cubicle was quiet, clean, and cozy. The only sound we heard was sheep bleeting in the distance at the nearby farm. These were the same sheep we ended up visiting and petting the next day after our arrival. Highly Recommended.

Great location and cosy accommodation

Great location and well equipped cottages for a short stay.

Nice view and easy access from the airport. The place was well clean however there is a smell from the water same smell when you pass the factory next to the blue lagoon. I had to change the date due to cancellation and they were very helpful even I extended my stay until 13:30 with no extra cost. Thank you

Location is good (not noisy, not crowded), with easy access to restaurants and attractions (or roads going to attractions), small space but optimized at its maximum, with everything you might need (including for cooking if you want this option). I would probably add a microwave in the room but otherwise, it has all you need and want.

it was a rainy day, we were just staying for one night. The room was pretty and clean, and remember to check your email, there is no front desk, they will send you the password to unlock the door.

Property was nice and the unit was very very clean, however, the location was in an industrial setting which you wouldn’t know from looking at the pictures. Overall I was please with Harbour View Property.

When we got to the location it was poorly signposted and so found it hard to find the actual properties. There is a hut that looks like a reception but you ring the bell and nobody is there so had to call and get instructions on how to get in. The sheet on the sofa bed was covered in brown stains and so we had to swap this with the bed one and the front door has a massive draft which meant the wind kept us up most of the night with the cold/banging the blinds against the windows. Overall a nice property in a lovely location but not worth the money

Little Industrial Cabin

I love the cabin. It us so nice. Relaxing and near restaurants and grocery stores. The only thing is the heater in the bathroom isn’t working. I am not sure. But all in all it was a pleasant stay.

Last night of our trip and we finally saw the Northern Lights! The many windows in the cabin meant that we could watch them in the comfort of the cabin.

Nice view, and easy to find! Great location and many options for dining out within walking distance. We liked the property - it was perfect for what we needed and clean.

A beautiful place to stay

This house was so adorable and well suited for two people. It was clean and everything was comfortable. So worth the stay! It was our first day in Iceland and after an afternoon at the blue lagoon, such a comfortable place to stay. Loved the easy check in process! And the lobster soup down the road - a must!!!

Faulty lights ruined an otherwise pleasant stay

Pros: good location close to airport, very new and clean units, well-appointed interior. Cons: three sets of lights didn’t work in the unit (kitchen cabinet, bathroom ceiling and outside lights) and as a result was a bit dim in places. There were other vacant units so management could have allocated the room better instead of leaving the defects for customers.

Great property, we had a really nice view of the harbor. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Be aware that there is no oven but there is a stove. The kitchen was fully stocked for preparing a meal.

When we first arrived, I had my doubts as the units look pretty basic from the outside. Also, no on-site office. Instead they send you a door code by email. But this worked out great. Once we entered the unit we found it to be beautiful. It was spotless with very comfortable bed and a great view. We went down the street and had dinner at Bruin which is run by an old sea captain and his wife. The Plaice was amazingly good. We stayed there our last night, so, Although we felt that we were 100 km from Reykjavík,we had a short run up to the airport. Also about 10 minutes from the blue Lagoon. We highly recommend this hotel.
