Great for Travelers on A Budget!
Great place for backpackers exploring Hanoi on a budget Perhaps not the best for families. The room was clean but quite utilitarian, not as nice as the photos. There was no elevator, but most of the rooms seemed to be on the main floor. The lock to our room was very poor. It could have been easily picked by a child. But we had no problems. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
Bad hotel, but very nice staff
The photographs were misleading. It was considerably more run down that pictured and it did not feel very secure. The staff was incredibly nice and kind though. I just didn't feel comfortable with the area or room. The room and linens were clean, but a lot of what was in the photo wasn't the same quality - the routers were zip tied to the lamps, the TV has writing on it, the hall light was very bright. I didn't feel comfortable walking around at night and it wasn't as conveniently located as I thought it would be to not be walking through areas I didn't feel comfortable walking through. Not one of the better quality hostels. Staff was so, so kind though which was a shame. It just needs some updating or cleaning up to have the presentation meet expectations.
Nice enough, but hard to find
The hostel was hard to find as it’s actually within a travel agent and no where on the building does it indicate the name of the hostel. I stayed in a private room and it was very comfortable and spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful and turned my laundry around within only a few hours. There was no do not disturb/please clean my room sign though and my room wasn’t cleaned in the 3 days I stayed there - this wasn’t an issue except I wasn’t given enough toilet paper for the time I was there. The room was also a bit strange with an outside door opening to an inner court area that just looked straight into another room, and one sort of window which had bars across it. It’s obviously an older building which has been converted, and despite being right on a busy road I found it very quiet at night which was good!
Lisa was very kind, helpful and gave us great recommendations on where to eat.. However the hotel rooms were old and didn’t look like the pictures.

Nice spot, in a good part of town.
Hostel was located in a good part of Hanoi close to restaurants and shopping. Staff was polite and helpful. Room was alright, but dated. The bed was quite worn out and the internet was slow. Balcony was nice.
