Stayed 5 nights at the Junior Studio at G2 and it was a pleasant stay. Location was convenient in the middle of 2 train stations (Euljiro 3 & Myeongdong). Airport bus was a max 7mins walk from the hotel & its easy to find direction. Junior Studio was huge for the 2 of us, so highly recommend it for families with kids! Fridge was abit small but microwave, hairdryer all was given. But take note, toothbrush & toothpaste are not provided. Either you bring your own or buy from the nearest convenient store. There is easily 4 convenient stores along the stretch & plenty of food options even at night by walking towards Euljiro 3

Very clean spacious double king room with beautiful bathroom. Kind and courteous staff. Excellent location for public transit. Many excellent restaurants within a 10 to 15 minute walk. Superb shopping in walking distance as well. All around a great value for the price. Would certainly stay here again. Love Korea!

Good and comfortable stay!

Location was amazing. Rooms are clean. Definitely to visit the rooftop garden with a view of N Seoul Tower. Gym was small but sufficient as well.

It's less than 10 min walk to the Myeong-dong night market and metro is closed by as well, lots of restaurants and shopping options in the area, super convenient. Room is spacious but noticed some stains on the wall and molds in the bathroom.

Great hotel about a 10 minute walk to Myeongdong street. The cafes and restaurants near the hotel are great. The hotel was clean and quiet, staff was also nice. Took advantage of the luggage storage and washing machines downstairs. Overall, would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay a little bit away from the craziness of Myeongdong street

Not cleaning the room properly

Staff were really helpful and the rooms were clean. Convenient and walkable to Myeongdong St. Would stay here again.

Great property and location! Staff super nice. Gym has all amenities needed for a good travel workout. Only odd thing was a constant weird sewer smell everytime you walked in the door but couldn't pinpoint origin.

The hotel’s atmosphere is pretty nice however we had a VERY BAD experience staying at this hotel. First of all the WiFi is VERY SLOW and will ALWAYS DISCONNECT, Our devices had a hard time connecting to the internet. Second is the air conditioning, the AC is limited to only 21-23 degree celsius which can be quite WARM and it made us SWEAT when we would sleep. Lastly were the mosquitoes inside the hotel and there were a LOT.

Great room service

This is a very good hotel for the price. It is clean and provides great room service. We have a toddler who made the sheets dirty and the sheets were changed every day with clean ones. The location is in walking distance to many tourist attractions. Highly recommended.

Everything was pretty good and clean. Just one thing I didn't like smell of towels. It was awful.

We stayed at G2 for the first and last leg of our South Korea trip, total of 9 nights. The staff were helpful even before we got there giving us directions and being responsive about laundry. The first room we got was a bit dusty but otherwise wonderful. Location is great! Close to subway stations/busses and the roads behind were food. 10 min walk to Myeongdong. Very clean and upgraded hotel, and the staff were so friendly ensuring we had everything we needed - topping up our water and making our room each day. Friendly/helpful staff. They held our luggage when we needed and even called a cab for us on the last day to fit our luggage. Would stay here again!

The quiet side of myeongdong

Everything is within walking distance – from the famous department stores to the bustling streets. I didn’t even need to take a cab or Uber at all! 🚶‍♀️ The hotel staff? Super friendly, and the gym was a great bonus! 💪 The room was simple but comfortable, just what I needed. Definitely staying here again! 🛏️✨

The hotel was ok. My only disappointment was I booked a suite thinking it would have a separate living area from the bedroom, and it did not it was basically just a bigger hotel room. Not a suite. I wake up much earlier than my wife and was looking for a quiet room away from her. Not very descriptive. Other than that it was ok. The maid service was great! Location pretty good near Myeongdong

Close to Myeongdong street and bus stops. Lots of cafes and convenience stores nearby. Worth the price.

It’s a decent 3 star hotel with comfy beds and great location being in Myeongdong. Also, they have a rooftop with good views. However, I’ve noticed the hotel prices in this area have more than doubled or even tripled since my last visit a few years ago. And to be honest the prices you pay definitely do not justify what you’re getting. Specially when compared to other major cities in other parts of the developed world. But somehow they are fully booked so it must be working for them.

The location of this hotel is perfect for travelers that want to be near Myeongdong (very touristy) but immerse themselves in a more local Korean vibe. There are plenty of restaurants which are open most nights of the week and within walking distance. Euljiro3 station is a 3-5 minute walk and Myeongdong station is about a 8-10 minute walk. The hotel is clean and refurbished. The facilities include access to washing machines and dryers, gym, a restaurant and roof top garden area with views of Seoul tower. The staff are helpful and pleasant. Overall it was a wonderful eight night stay and I would highly recommend G2 hotel. There is also a fantastic coffee shop called Rewire around the corner that makes coffee's to Australian standards.

Very convenient location

Really great position to go to the center. Close to many amenities. Very quiet and safe. The staff was super professional and friendly. There is a bit of humidity, that at first is a bit bothersome (you smell it) though after some days you do not notice as much.

My friend and I loved staying at this hotel! It was a walkable distance from myeongdong and close to multiple subway stations so getting around wasn't difficult at all. Staff are nice and hotel rooms were great!

It was a good stay! Our room was very comfortable, great size for family of 3 and near good restos, cafes, convenience stores and cafes.

It is 5 min walk to the subway line 2&3， surrounded by convince stores， restaurants, beverage, and very clean and quite.

The front desk was extremely helpful and friendly! Even offered us an upgrade for our anniversary which we really appreciate. The smell outside especially with the trash around the area was really bad. The rooms were quite old even though the hotel is considered new to when it was built. Location was good as it was walking distance to myeongdong and stations to get out

Our disappointment is that on Expedia it lists it as a 4 minute walk to Myeongdong Street when it was really closer to a 15 minute walk. We thought we would be able to walk right outside the hotel and quickly into Myeondong Street. Expedia needs to update so that other travelers are not surprised as location was the primary factor in our booking of this hotel. The Jr Studio room had plenty of space with a small kitchen. House keeping even took care of the dishes each day. Staff was friendly but there was no concierge/baggage help.

Property isn't bad but could use a facelift. The rooms are somewhat older. The location is about a 10-15 min walk to the central Myeongdong area and is a very quiet and safe area.

We booked this place way in advance for our five night stay in Seoul for me, my wife and child's first visit to South Korea. We had to leave the property because of the smell of the sewer filled our room during our first night at around 3 AM. It was so strong that it woke us all up. First, we thought the toilet was backing up but that was not the problem. Apparently the property (or this room) has serious sewer problems. We couldn't stay there and after asking for some help the management simply said, "oh, we're sorry, you want to come back later?" They would not come up to the room to check it out and refuse to refund our money. The hotel's location is great, the staff for a few minutes we interacted with them when checking in were nice but later no so much. Be warned, this place stinks!

The hotel's location is unbeatable, situated right in the heart of Myeongdong. We were within walking distance to some of South Korea's top attractions, including the bustling Myeongdong Shopping Street, the historic Gyeongbokgung Palace, the vibrant Namdaemun Market, and the serene Namsan Seoul Tower. Additionally, Dongdaemun Design Plaza and the picturesque Bukchon Hanok Village were also just a short stroll away. G2 Hotel Myeongdong perfectly combines luxury, comfort, and convenience. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Seoul and looking for a top-notch experience. We can't wait to return!

Really clean and room was larger than other hotels I’ve tried in the area. Good location in the quieter part of Myeongdong so you get a good night’s sleep whilst being super close to the main streets. Really appreciated the free water in the rooms

Excellent for a few days and in a wonderful neighborhood that’s an easy walk to the night market and hustle and bustle of Myeong-Dong. G2 kindly upgraded us, which worked out so well for us as we stayed in the room due to a foot injurh my husband suffered. The ability to have ice accessible was such big benefit for this stay. AC worked great. USB hubs, smart buttons but no smart TV. A few English networks. We normally never stay in the room. Slippers, robes, water, instant coffee were provided for.these items were nice touches and appreciated. Staff was helpful and efficient.

Property is in great location. The room itself has some noise issues. Door seems not sealed well, can hear everything in the hallways. And the walls are very thin, can hear next door guests.

The staff in particular Bae was super helpful for foreigners like us. This is the best service we have received in Korea (we have been to a few hotels). Bae went out of his way to help us with getting to the airport. He was so welcoming, super friendly and had great English - very easy to communicate with. We will defiantly come back and recommend this hotel!

We stayed here 10 nights and our rooms were clean and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The location has multiple coffee shops and restaurants around it. It was easy to walk to the subway and to all of the Myeongdong attractions.

This hotel is amazing! It's in such a safe location - the police station is right across the street. The staff is amiable and welcoming every time I walk in and out; they always greet me with a smile and a warm hello. It's like I'm a VIP here!

Nothing special but good area

The place is very convenient and close to bus stops and train station. There are also lots of restaurants around the area and convenience stores that are open 24hrs. The location is safe because there's a police station close by.

The room was small but to be expected in Seoul. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. The rooftop garden is a nice option for smokers. It is conveniently located to Myeongdong and very walkable with lots of coffee shops and restaurants nearby. The staff spoke English well and were very accommodating.

Great hotel, good location

Hotel staff was very accommodative to our requests. They were very thoughtful and allow us early check in for 2 rooms out of 4 because we had 18 luggages and they were concerned about the space occupied at the open lobby. It’s not a big hotel but it was nice and cost enough for us. Bed was comfortable too to allow for good night’s rest and ready for the next busy day. Walking distance to 3 subway stations. So we had options depending on our destinations.

Very comfortable beds. Nice amenities & convenient location. The only drawback was a protruding anchor for the fire escape ladder on the floor - covered with a tennis ball. We stumbled on it more than once.

Good no frills hotel near MyeongDong but still takes around 15mins to walk to the MRT station. Staff were friendly and room size very adequate. Nice clean room. They also gave us 2 bottles of water per day which was fantastic. They have just changed the check out time from 12pm to 11am from 1st Jan 2024 which is a shame.

Perfect location! Close to two metro stations meant easy travel to most places.
