Good location for shopping and entertainment

The hotel is located near the habour bay ferry terminal. We took grab to reach the hotel within few minutes. The rooms are clean and spacious. So nice that the hotel provides welcome drink at the lobby.

Great stay with a great location. Easy and cheap to get around by taxi or pte car.

Our first point of contact from Four Points Sheraton was Ardan, who picked us from and to the ferry terminal. He was communicative, prompt and extremely hospitable -- which helped to create a positive first & last impresssion. Absolutely love the breakfast spread which was diverse in local offerings. Location was wonderful, easy to Gojek around. Hotel was clean and bedding was very comfortable. They thoughtfully provided ear plugs as there was a buzzling night market situated directly next to the hotel. Would consider re-booking with the hotel for my next stay if they are able to improve on the following areas: 1) Train more staff to be more fluent in English 2) Change spa operator that is more befitting to the Sheraton/ Marriott Bonvoy branding -- Seem to have a clubbing playlist featuring Rihanna's Umbrella; wasn't equipped with a POS to support digital payment and had to rely on the hotel's POS; Spa's receptionist was not fluent in English and looked flustered when we wanted to book a 9pm slot (even though operating hours stated they closed at 12 midnight). Receptionist tried to convince us to book an earlier slot. 3) Train chefs that man all live cook stations -- e.g. For breakfast, my sunny side up was too runny. And unfortunately, due to low fluency in English, when both chefs were told to re-cook it longer, they misunderstood the request and tossed out the eggs. For Dinner BBQ, to cook thick fish fillets longer.

Good hotel

The hotel looks a bit small. The restaurant looks a bit plain. But the staff is nice and food also reasonable.

Great place to stay. This is an old building but the Marriott team has done a fantastic job in giving the place a face lift and raise the bar in terms of cleanliness and service. Billy at Front Desk was amazing. Great work all around.

Everything was good except theres no Bath Tub at all rooms. Also the swimming pool was small for such Hotel and theres no staff ard. Breakfast was nice but some food was not maintain warm. But i still like it.

Vacation stay at Four Point

The Hotel staff are very welcoming (Tresia). The room is spacious and clean. The soundproofing needs some improvements as we can hear some singing at night. Hope this feedback can help you to improve your already good place. Thank you so much

The price for this hotel was good. I stayed a couple nights and thought the value was great. My room was really good. The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious. The bathroom was nice. It was clean and modern. I had an adjoining door in my room. Unfortunately the sound travels though that door very easily and I could hear all the happenings day and night in the room next to me. Not really any privacy and something the hotel should fix. Sound should not travel so freely through those doors. Otherwise I really liked my room. The breakfast buffet was okay. They had western and local food options. The omelet Padang was good. There is a large outside pool with some deck chairs. The pool seemed fine but that whole floor with the pool looked aged and unused. Like a ghost town. The location of the hotel is in a bit of a seedy area. There is an outdoor market across the street with clothing and items for sale. Also nearby are many red light district type bars and massage places. The hotel is walking distance to Burger King and McDonald’s as well as some other restaurants like Sederhana and an Indian food place. Many local people sitting on the sidewalks and just hanging out. The hotel is attached to a dilapidated building which is ugly and an eye sore when looking out your window in the room or at the pool. It is like this area was something better at one time. The staff were good, and inside the hotel was good. The room was nice. Good value.

Although not much attractive options at the immediate surroundings, the hotel itself is worth staying at. The location is also quite convenient for grab users at it sits between harbour bay terminal and Nagoya hill mall. For breakfast, I would recommend the local options just outside the hotel to support the locals.

Room was very clean, quality of mattress is good, quiet and good for sleep unlike some hotels too near to mosque with large prayer noise. Suggests improvement: 1) could have more choice of pillow as only thick fluffy in the room. 2)shower water pressure a bit low. 3) breakfast choice limited unlike wide popular choice in I-Hptel Baloi.

staff are nice and polite

The rooms are cleaned and spacious. Breakfast spread was good, except the area aircon not cold. Excellent staff like Kay who attended to our feedback. We had enjoyed our stay in this hotel.

Think twice

Only few decent restaurants nearby. Not worth to pay for the breakfast as the food variety is less and not tempting. Everything are good except F&B

We booked 2 rooms with selection of King size beds but upon check-in, the counter staffs advise that only 1 room is available with king size while another is a double single bed. After making us wait for quite awhile, they told us they managed to allocated as per our booking (king size beds for both rooms) only to find out later and to our dismay both rooms were actually double single beds instead. Not wanting to spoil our holiday we actually bear with it for our 3 days 2 nites there. Also the tv channel for my room always had issue with no signal, even after calling the staff it does not help at all, so basically I go without the tv in the my room. The worse scenario when we were being charged for tv channel fee for $700 for (another room) and we dont even know the channels need to be paid...It was definitely not a pleasant experiences for us and hope no one else shall experience the same.

Overall it’s fine , very noisy from the street and the mosque early at 4am

Stay at Four Point was great! Staffs were hospitable and special shoutout to Swara and Kay for making our stay with an infant so pleasant.

Repeated stay. Clean. Quiet. Basic toiletries provided (toothbrushes, soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner). Strong hairdryer provided. Generally nice ambience. Near to local eateries and able to order food using apps with much ease. 20 min slow walk to Nagoya mall or use the Gojek app. Much quieter area if you appreciate being away from the hustle of the shopping areas. We were a little puzzled at why 2 face towels and hand towels were provided the last time but not this time round. Other than that, everything was good. Wished that the price was lower since it’s further away from the main attractions.

Batam weekend getaway

Overall hotel was acceptable with the exception of room toilet drainage issue plus spa condition wasn't really up to Sheraton's standard - definitely have more room for further improvements.

Great hotel. Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast is a simple spread but sufficient. Hotel rooms are spacious and location is very central. Easy transport to major shopping areas.

Not good and unpleasant

Hotel lobby is old and dirty. Surrounding incontinence. Room is sleep for 3 pax and paid for 3 pax, but still required to pay extra for the extra bed! I felt cheated!

The Hotel staff made it a very welcoming stay for us. Great Hotel room. Just needed more varieties for the breakfast buffet.

The staff was awesome especially Miss Swara. Will be good to have 24hr dining options.

Great location, clean and comfy. Polite and friendly staffs, although sometimes you need to remind them for your request. But overall great customer service. They have a pool table which guests can enjoy for free to kill times

The surrounding environment very noisy during the day and late night. Unable to get to rest with the noisy loudspeakers sound.

The room is spacious & clean. Staff are helpful & friendly. Areas that need improvement: 1. The bathroom floor is slippery. Prone to accidental fall. 2. Food is bad. Need to engage a proper cook. I got raw chicken & salmon for my dinner. None of the dishes we ordered is hot, including the soup of the noodle. Breakfast is equally disappointing.

Pros: Staff are great with exceptional service. Location is very near nagoya mall, takes less 5 min to travel there by car. Hotel is very new, and looks great. Cons: Gym is slightly small.

Great hotel close to everything

The hotel was clean and beautiful. Rooms were spacious and clean, standard amenities for the room. They had a great breakfast buffet selection which were delicious. Dinner at the hotel was amazing, the lunch & dinner menu was super delicious.. We have the tomyum and cabonara for the kids which they finished everything. The staff was super friendly and very accomodating to our needs, and they were patient with the kids and hotel guest. They like to engage in conversation with hotel guest and our kids too. Overall on the above mention really boost the stay we had for 4days3nights. The downside to the hotel is, the massage/spa does not have it's own facility, if you wanted the massage, they will go over to your room. To people with kids is abit of a downside as our room was messy with the babycot and kids toys all over the room. So if there was a seperate facility for the massage would be great! The pool is a good size lounge chairs towel provided, but the pool, clean water,floor was slimy abit.. The last downside would be the location around the hotel, there are alot of small shophouses nearby, a huge night market, but no decent shopping malls like Nagoya Mall. So walking around the hotel with kids and stoller is difficult plus the busy traffic infront of the hotel. But good point is, there is always a metered taxi standby at the lift lobby for your convenience anytime. Overall the staff professionalism, great food and room really makesup for what is lacking in the hotel
