Very disappointing
Not sure how this hotem got 4 stars. The hotel does not look like the pics at all. I was shocked on arrival. Extremely disappointed. The room did not feel clean. Dust everywhere and the cleaners never did anything apart from empty the bins. Didnt even replenish toilet roll. The only saving grace was the security man. But if you're booking this hotel from the pics or thinking its 4 star and youd have 4 star service and cleanliness you'll be very disappointed. I was
We loved everything about it
5 stars
Overall experience was wonderful from room cleanliness, amenities, service, dining and location.
A large room with windows that open and an industrial decor. Restaurant/bar wa pictursque with excellent food & drinks.
rustic look
Definitely a great experience I will be booking again
Location
I love staying here! The balcony was perfect and located close to Roosevelt street. I plan to stay again soon.
It was amazing the hotel is so unique and has art everywhere! Definitely a great place for couples!
Main area of Hotel was clean and art work is a great touch. The service and food at the lobby restaurant/bar was very good. Rooms are industrial and have shared doors with adjoining rooms which make them extremely loud/noisy in the late evening. Sound carries between all the rooms and made sleeping difficult. Immediate area around the hotel had a number of homeless persons/addicts as it abuts an overpass/park area where people appear to be living.
Nice place, lots to do in the area. Great service at the lobby bar, bartender was super informative of the area.
They did not tell us the pool was closed both days we were here...we would have stayed somewhere with a pool
I really liked this hotel and the bar downstairs was amazing. It was convenient to get to places from the hotel and the staff was nice.
Our ac unit was apparently new, but didnt seem to work.
The walls are too thin. Had baby crying all night on one side and happy honeymooners on the other...made for sleepless nights.
Im unsure if the pricing matches the amenities.
So fun! Great idea for the art gallery etc along with the unique decor and incredible bar/food/staff. Close to everything. Love!
Funky and relaxing place to stay downtown! Close to everything!
Great and artsy!
Very average. Reception was not very friendly and didn’t even lookup at us during check-in. Check out was slightly better. Room was not as clean as we hoped. The bathroom was a little odd and didn’t have a fan, so everything got very fogged up. $35 per night for parking was somewhat excessive. We received a $25 food and drink voucher through Expedia, which the hotel bar/restaurant did not honor when we asked about it. The room above us was extremely noisy until the early morning hours and started right back up again at around 8am. As a result, we had a terrible night of sleep. We would not elect to stay at this hotel again.
Great solo trip
Love a dog friendly hotel, my senior pups are well trained and well behaved, and we would absolutely choose this property again. Thank you for the treats at the front desk. The park next door is great for walking them too. Only complaint was a constantly running toilet but one of the buttons got stuck and needed to be jiggled a few times. We will be back!
Property had a nice walkable area. Quiet neighborhood. Rail available. Close to restaurants.
Safe and easy check in
Beautiful place. Very chilled
Unique, hip take on how to repurpose an older hotel. The only real problem I have is the sound proofing. I could hear my neighbor sniff, let alone all of the other graphic things you might hear someone doing in a hotel room.
FOUND:RE Phoenix isn’t just a hotel, it’s an immersive experience in contemporary art and design. From the industrial-chic lobby to the thoughtfully curated rotating exhibitions, the space feels more like a living gallery than traditional lodging. The hotel’s integration of local artists and bold visual storytelling gives each visit a sense of cultural discovery. It’s a place where creativity and comfort coexist beautifully. The rooms feel like curated lofts, with raw textures, bespoke lighting, and one-of-a-kind art that transforms the space into something personal and expressive. Even the restaurant carries the same creative spirit, with a menu and aesthetic that feel both refined and artful. FOUND:RE doesn’t simply display art, it lives and breathes it, making it an unforgettable destination for anyone with a passion for design and visual culture.
The beautiful art displayed in the hotel. The uniqueness of the hotel room was cool. I also enjoyed the convenience of the location of the hotel room.
Excellent hotel with great service infused with an artistic flair.
From the moment we drove up, the bell hop was the nicest guy helping us get to self parking and telling us tips and tricks about the hotel. Every single person was so nice, our waiter at March was amazing! The bed and pillows are both so soft and nice. The sound ordinance is also nice, even though they had 3 weddings, we still felt like it was a hidden gem with just us there, and all music stoped right at 11. Highly recommend this hotel and there’s a cute park next door!!
Very cool hip property
An ArtGallery and hotel. Industrial style rooms but still comfortable. Easy walking area and a very good restaurant on site
Nice restaurant. Great art work. Had to Personally request room cleaning from the maids
Great staff, awful room.
Helpful and friendly staff went above and beyond. However the room was a puzzling assortment of uncomfortable and even dangerous design decisions. Cannot recommend for that reason.
We liked the uniqueness of the hotel. Room size and layout was really cool we stayed in room 808. Now the down side. Room had a lot of areas there were not cleaned or dusted in a very long time. Had 2 sliding barn doors and when we went to close them a lot of dirt and dust was exposed. Several pieces of furniture was not dusted in a long time. The door that ajoined to another room was paper thin we could here the guest having relations several times throughout the night lol.. you could here them laughing and talking loud. The king size bed and king size shower were amazing. The rugs throughout the living room and bedroom had not been cleaned in awhile very dirty with stains. Staff was great. We only ate at the restaurant for breakfast the food was not our style very bland but hey we are from Missouri we like food with flavor lol.. overall we would stay here again we loved the view from the balcony and staff was great just need to clean rooms better and learn to cook midwestern flavor 😂😊
Unique room, nice decor
Great place to stay 👌 would recommend it
Sunny Weekend in Phoenix
We loved everything about our stay at the FOUNDRE in Phoenix. The hotel is beautiful and filled with art, the building is full of creativity. The moment we walked in we were in awe of how cool the hotel was. Everyone that we interacted with at the hotel was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed happy hour at the bar, a day at the pool, room service, and just wandering around the hotel and neighborhood. This hotel had it all and will be the only hotel we choose the next time we're in Phoenix.
The staff was so disengaged. The room was dirty at check in and there was a bag tied over the smoke detector. They staff said there was no general manager but said they would refund for the stay, but now won’t answer the phone or respond to the refund request.
The room was very unique
Random Room Charges
Everything was good until we went to checkout. There was a $98 or $123 room charge from the hotel bar which we did not make. We had a $25 food and beverage credit, so we ate breakfast before checkout to use that. Upon checkout the clerk stated you already used that the day prior and that the total after the credit for that was $98. They said they would forward it up to management and call us, four days later and no call and still a pending charge on our card.
Fun and unique hotel with a wine/coffee shop and restaurant attached. Very impressed with the food. We sat outside on the patio for wine and pizza.
Amazing place to end a long workday into a fun filled weekend. Great food, drinks and art to just hang. The rooms were unique and still comfortable.
The Fouundre was amazing. The.rooms are large (by hotel standard). Great bar and restaurant. The bed was fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Phoenix.
This is our second time staying at this hotel. Everything about it makes us want to stay again
Quilt conference stay
Good place to stay.. only issue is parking very limited there was no place to park when we returned from day out only place were valet due to attached bar and restaurant, valet wanted 45 dollars in addition to 35 dollar already paying. Had to speak with front desk to get a parking place.
It was a fun hotel
Beautiful room and very large compared to most hotels. Very modern. The bar and restaurant were great! We r coming back to the hotel when we leave Arizona. Highly recommend this hotel
.
The staff is top notch and professional as can be. Everyone here strives to be the best and it shows.
Great overall experience with early check in. Read that all rooms came with a. Balcony but didn't have one and instead got a view of parking lot and hotel vents with trash
Unique property.
love the room very expansive and had a balcony
This place is really clean, inside and out. The rooms are spacious and flow together nicely. The back deck wraps around two sides of the building with a nice hot tub. The neighborhood wasn't busy during the day and quiet at night, despite being just a few blocks away from a main street. Easy access, in and out. I liked the driveway too, it's so much nicer than off-street parking. The owner was easy to get ahold of and went out of his was to help me when I needed it. I couldn't have asked for a better stay!
Such a cool property. Amazing artwork, restaurant was fantastic, and the staff was very kind.
Relaxing stay.
Wonderful and relaxing stay. Wonderful bar, artwork/museum and restaurant area. Layed back atmosphere was just what we needed. Did not use the pool area but wasn't busy, just a few couples using it. Huge shower is one of my favorites about this hotel.
Stayed there at beginning of vacation and end. Different from other places we've stayed in the way of type. As I think they designers were trying to keep with a certain look and feel due to type of building they renovated. Thr only issue is parking. Not enough spaces and with attached buisnesses their patrons take parking spaces og the hotel guests. I hsd this problem and only valet was left. The valet service wanted to charge 45.00 for parking a night above the 35.00 you are already paying. Spoke with staff and they took care of the problem with the valet service.
Had problems with parking we paid the nightly parking fee for our one car one night the lot was full and they said well you’ll have to use the valet parking and pay $35. We told them we did not want valet parking did not want to pay $35 because we’ve already paid 25. I believe it was for the nightly parking and we shouldn’t have to pay anything more than that we’re guest at the hotel. They finally got it straightened out so we didn’t have to pay, but that was a pain at the time.
Lots of character and help was great
This hotel was in a great location for walking to downtown Phoenix. We walked to/from the convention center everyday and it was a nice 15-20 minute stroll. Loads of great dining options within walking distance. The staff was really friendly and we enjoyed the art!
Staff was great. Location was perfect.
Please give a chance and support the arts too!
There was an issue with housekeeping on check in that was dealt with by night security. Otherwise, great stay. Tasty non-hotel food in the restaurant. Integrated art experience was tops!
A really funky hotel - very comfortable rooms- not quite soundproof (bad boy and his partner having a great time!) Food was very good. Would recommend
I found the staff very welcoming and kind. The bed was not very comfortable but might be different for someone else. Perfect location
Great stay!
Great little getaway hotel for my husband and I to stay local and have a great time.
Overall great hotel. Staff was excellent. Very clean. The artwork throughout the property gives it a very unique and modern vibe. The food choices could be a little more but overall a great place to stay.
Good location quickly but modern hotel deceptive advertising there’s no free parking shoddy housekeeping services
Overall was nice however the Match bar not so good we had a bad experience we sat there waiting for service the bartenders completely ignored us for about 10 mins. /:
Place was over all beautiful. Bartender could have had a better attitude
This is not the place to be if you have a child. The exposed concrete floors, industrial pipe motif, and metal bed frame are all accidents waiting to happen. But for the childless couple or alone and "expecting company" (there are some elements to the room design that can only possibly be intended for a particularly kind of use- see if you can find them all should you stay here) then this is the place for you. Comfortable bed, shower so big the toilet and sink are in it. That sink is open to the rest of the room so don't expect total privacy in the toilet shower. The room was clean enough except for one glaring toe nail on the bedspread. The towels were at a minimum and there was a single robe and slippers. For the cost of the room, and paying up for the "deluxe" king room, we got a patio that was shared with two other rooms and it was just a fenced off area in the parking lot, near the dumpsters. The hipster staff was very friendly but couldn't help with poor decisions like stocking the rooms with wine coolers instead of actual fridges. No practicality here. We were never given anything in writing, asked to sign anything, or offered a receipt. So we had to call a few days later to ask about a charge on our credit card. Maybe bills and receipts are too uncool. We didn't try the restaurant because the menu was a little froo-froo for a family with a toddler and normal parents, but the café had lovely coffee and pastry at reasonable prices. P. S. Everyone is gay.
The property was very clean
Industrial cold
The room we reserved was Deluxe 1 King Bed. Looking at the web-site now I realize we did not receive that room. We received Standard King. So we probably paid for something we did not receive. (Maybe Hotels.com is at fault for this) The bed was not king size even though advertised as king. The bottom sheet was too big and was uncomfortable to sleep on because it wadded up underneath you. The staff were outstanding. I probably wouldn't stay here again. The industrial vibe left me sort of cold.
This place was amazing from the bar tender valet front desk everyone made us feel very welcomed and will for sure be back again !!!
Real nice lowkey place to stay. I love it
Ok
The aesthetics was 10/10
Staff was great and friendly. From the front desk, to the valet, to the bartenders, & cashiers. Unfortunately I did not like the fact there was no hot water for our 3 day stay :(
Check in was good. The lady who checked us in was pleasant and welcoming. The VIP room is spacious and well appointed. However, the living room area was not properly or thoroughly cleaned. There was food under the cushions of the sofa and under the furniture. Someone left their vape, and that was overlooked by housekeeping. It makes you wonder what else in the room didn't get proper attention. Unfortunate because the hotel has a great vibe and style. Cleanliness should be a priority.
We had a great stay at the FoundRe. It was quick and easy to check in and got the room we wanted. The food and drinks were also great, would definitely stay here again!
centrally located, clean, loved the decor, it was a great experience.
Friendly staff, artistic environment and convenient location downtown
Nice property. I had a great room with a great view of downtown. The down side is that you definitely can hear through the walls and floor levels. Other, than that I enjoyed my stay.
Great place. Comfortable rooms
The hotel was nice. I like the art work that’s around the hotel. I wish the rooms had a microwave but the front desk staff did heat my food up for me. The resort fees was confusing because it’s not a resort. It’s some great food places around the hotel. Overall I enjoyed my stay .
Nice surprise
Nice surprise and concept. The staff was incredibly/consistently warm and welcoming, making the visit feel like a home away from home. The hotel’s location was convenient for my needs - central to downtown and arts district. The space itself is innovative and fresh, with modern touches that create a comfortable and funky atmosphere. Impressive for the value and recommended! DEE
Overall nice stay VIP suites city views from the balcony are stunning
Give a wide Berth
Overpriced , resort fee ! Not a resort is$26 for a whisky! No service whatsoever room wasn’t served at all . Extremely noisy AC have it on or freeze . Concrete floors .
The room was clean and modern. The bed was comfortable. I was able to work and enjoy myself. The fitness center had what I needed and the restaurant was great. If I could change one thing it would have been the water pressure in the shower. I would stay here again.
Before booking I asked if the pool was heated I was told yes, when I was there it was not. Other than that the experience was great.
This is a fun hotel and is good in all the conventional ways such as service, cleanliness and location. It has a definite theme: contemporary art; including works for sale in each room and an attached commercial gallery. The decor is loft chic and they are very consistent about it, both in the common areas and within the room. It's not my favorite style but it did add to the fun. The FOUNDRE is similar to the Verb Hotel in Boston that has a rock and roll theme and is also consistent with it, although they probably are not affiliated.
Nice

I have received three bills from the hotel on my charge card in the amount of $2428.42, none of them the correct amount. Something definitely wrong at this property.

Great place to get away for a few days to lay by the pool and check out uptown PHX on foot (bikes also available). Very friendly and helpful staff. Grab something to eat and drink downstairs and check out some art!
