Very nice, excellent breakfast, spotlessly clean room. I arrived late due to a train delay and particularly appreciated the welcome snack of fresh fruit and a macaroon. Thank you!

The property has a ventilation system, not sure conditioning as advertised. The room was very warm the entire night.

Very close to Stuttgart airport, extremely nice staff, clean and secure parking. Breakfast had a good variety and good seating. Fun airplane theme throughout the hotel. The bed however was as hard as a rock and the pillow was the thinest pillow I’ve ever seen in a hotel. Shame was otherwise great value for money.

Very clean, very tidy, very new. Front desk girl changed languages easy as a button. The price is good and it delivers more than it costs. Recommended from the bottom of my heart.

Cosy room, very clean and quiet. Option to eat or drink in, or the Kashmir curry house next door was excellent! Would happily stay again - easy to walk to the airport, S Hahn and U Hahn for access to the city.

The hotel was very easy to get to from Stuttgart airport with a easy walk and tram ride. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, warm and comfortable, everything I needed was there. Breakfast was good, nice selection and all fresh and well cooked. Good value for money, would happily visit again and recommend to anyone.

One pillow in the room that was so thin it went completely flat when lying on it. Air con was useless. No where to get food or drink

At first I received a smaller room than I booked (I booked a queen sized bed) but it was exchanged quickly. The restaurant and bar inside the hotel were closed during the weekend. But there are some grocery stores not far away as well as a brewery/restaurant. Getting to the airport was easy using the U line, the station is not far away but you have to download their app to buy a ticket, not easy for everyone. But you can always get a cab.

let's pretty this way I made reservations at that place I am handicapped I had to get one of the cooks to help me to my room I guess I was supposed to take three suitcases with my leg had three surgeries being injured as in Nevada state place let's go to the second part I'm ready to leave and go to Stuttgart so I went picked up my car around the corner where I parked it I come back parked in the front to get my bags I got locked out of the room 11 o'clock I had made to open up my room so I could get my suitcases out I went and talk to the guy downstairs I said would you like me out for he would not answer me i'll help you help me you locked me out of my room I would've brought one bag at a time down so you know what I would say everything nasty about your hotel because when you lock somebody out at 11 o'clock when you're checking out and the normal time for check out is 12 o'clock so you know what you're getting bad reviews and I will make sure some of my friends that I was visiting here in Germany to pass on the nastiness of this hotel locking an individual out of their room at 11 o'clock in the morning did he say sorry no he did not

Basic Hotel no frills. Clean and neat.

The hotel breakfast is one of the best I’ve ever had. The hot food options were second to none, and there were so many options to choose from. The room is okay, but slightly hot, with no A/C. Parking is an additional €19 charge.

Convenient to transport links in small suburb of Echterdingen. Quiet with a small selection of resturants and supermarkets. The hotel was spotlessly clean , the staff were very welcoming and helpful, the only downside was the bar was closed due to illness i did think that someone could have served

When we got there we were told that the restaurant and bar were closed. We asked why and we’re told that the barman was sick. On asking why that would close the restaurant we got a shrug. I visited this hotel with two colleagues who have disabilities, one in a wheelchair and the reason for picking all our hotels were that they had good transport links and had bar and restaurant facilities. I asked to discuss this with the Manager to be told he was off for the weekend, when I enquired again on the Tuesday he was on a conference call and couldn’t see me. The hotel was busy with Scottish visitors over for the football and it was the view of the majority that this was the reason for the closure. We were told there were plenty of restaurants in the area but not everyone was able to make the significant journey. A very poor advertisement for German hospitality. We stayed in two other hotels while we were there and were welcomed and made to feel that they enjoyed our company. I would not recommend staying in this establishment if you are visiting Stuttgart there are many better ones.

Good business hotel

Small group on business trip to the exposition. The hotel is good. No frills, no luxury, no superfluous things, anyway what you would expect from a business hotel is pretty much all there. The staff has been kind all the time. The restaurant doesn't have a very large menu selection, however it is fine for a dinner without having to go out of the hotel. We ate there and were happy. Clean and quiet rooms, air conditioning, complimentary water bottle, clean bathroom. The shower is not completely enclosed and some water spills on the bathroom floor, but it is definitely a minor problem. Breakfast is good and varied enough for a hotel of this category. For a business stay I would recommend it. We could not have asked for more.

Unfortunately the restaurant and bar is not open on weekends

A solid hotel, with clean and comfortable room and a nice breakfast spread. Very close to the airport, 7 min walk to the U-Bahn to get back to airport/city centre (U6 line) or 15 min walk to S-Bahn.

Very quiet room for a busy area

This hotel is conveniently located close to the facilities around the airport with supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance. The room was clean and satisfactory for our needs. We were travelling with a large dog and did not have any problems during our stay.

Stuffy Room / Poor Bedding

The bedding was not comfortable. The pillows were poor quality and the blanket was too bulky for the time of year. The air filtration system did not work correctly, and opening the window next to Freeway B27 was extremely loud. There was no way to cool the room since the staff shut off the air conditioning. I recommend they leave the AC on during the fall so guests do not have to open the windows and listen to 24-hour highway noise. The mini-fridge in the room did not work well, there was nowhere to get ice to cool drinks. The parking garage was super tight and was even difficult to get my 2-door coupe into a parking space without blocking someone else in. Positives: TV worked well and breakfast was adequate.

The check-in process was unpleasant. I was sent to a room that was already occupied at midnight and the person in the room was woken up by me and we surprised each other. Room was clean by right by the highway so there was a lot of noise from cars roaring by even if the window was fully closed.

Water service is good.

Don’t damage your car entering the garage!!

Parking garage very difficult to get in to. Front desk should inform drivers to go around the block and enter from the right. Entering from the left can present possible accident both due to oncoming traffic and a 120 degree turn into the garage entrance. Doing that with a rented SUV was both scary and frustrating. Only 3 channel tv with sophisticated device, room check in the toilet had been used and unflushed, one handed shower as shower head kept dropping. Filthy shower extraction fan. Double room booked and got 2 single beds. Enough beverage for 1 cup each with small single use paper cup

Reception was pleasant upon arrival. I immediately asked where to park and was told to drive around back of the building. Once I got there, I hit "REZEPTION" on the buzzer and eventually the bar came up. Two days later upon checkout I mention that it takes a long time to get the garage open, and I'm asked why I'm not using my card. I never received a 'card' for parking. So AFTER checking out, she demands to know WHO checked me in and why I didn't PAY for parking. Even though the first question I asked prior to even receiving the hotel room card was to inquire about parking. So then they DEMANDED I now pay €30 in order to leave the garage. No apologies for their mistake Just 'shut up/pay up'. Too bad, it wasn't a horrible place, but absolutely no finesse at Customer Service. I won't stay there again.

Very nice, excellent location, just a short train journey to the messe and airport. The staff were very friendly, we worked until late and they still cooked us a pizza at the bar even though it was past time. All in all we were very happy and will 100% book this hotel the next time we work in stuttgart

Practical and effective

Hotel is a good choice for a night near the airport to catch a morning flight. It still requires a bus ride, subway ride, or a taxi to travel to or from the airport; but these are short rides. I recommend the bus as it stops directly in front of the door and takes less than 15min. However, it only goes every 60min. Taxi drivers won't like the trip as it is too short for them. Hotel is very clean, comfortable and has nice sized rooms. Breakfast is good, staff is friendly and hotel bar/restaurant is what you need. One disadvantage is that there are no other dining options nearby but an Aldi and a Lidl across the street allow last minute shopping of essentials.

Dorint Hotel stuttgart

Room was so expensive and did not meet my expectations for a standard room. No tea coffee or water in room. No iron available. Bad bad bad for business traveller.

Good for business trip to Messe, it’s not far from the Messe and the staff is helpful. But the hotel is a bit far from train station (10 mins walk).

Liked proximity to airport. They said they had "shuttle service" but all I got was a taxi. Instructions on how to use room and turn on electricity were not especailly clear. Not much around. Good basic accommodations near the airport. Price was good.

Great location close to Airport and Messe. Bar a bit small and can be a bit slow but breakfast and food good and staff friendly. Standard rooms smallish but clean.

1) VVV Few English Channels on TV 2) When reception sees you struggling in with 2 huge boxes and bag in a trolley. Seeing that you are trying multiple times to open side door . Then are forced to bang drop stumble through those ridiculous revolving doors . And there are no other customers . The least she can do would be to leave her throne and open the door. That applied only to the night receptionist the morning one was superb and vvv helpfull. 3) Very good Chinese restaurant and take away nearby , Aldi , Lidl nearby 4) Very popular Indian restaurant very close by . It was a very nice and well kept place, from the staff at the front desk to the housekeepers. The front desk clerks spoke English confidently and did not miss a beat when I spoke zero German. It was very welcoming. The food was well enough in the hotel, it wasn't gourmet bit it was delicious, the beer was refreshing and the service was efficient. The rooms were nice and clean, smelled fresh, the amenities were stunning, the only thing they could improve on in my eyes; usb charging ports in the rooms/lobby. The room itself had more than 7 plugs in the wall available, many at table height and near both sides of the bed. I will be staying there again next month and look forward to the great night's sleep. On that note, I could hear another guest somewhere talking loudly and slamming a door from in my bed, it didn't last long but what else do you expect with young businessmen and women? Cheers for the lovely night's rest.

Chose this hotel for its prob its to the airport. On the Hotels.com website it stated shuttle to the airport which is incorrect. The hotel was clean, neat and the staff very friendly.

Calls itself an airport hotel but approximately a 10-minute taxi ride from the airport. Good restaurant but no room service. Modern and comfortable rooms.

Staff was very poor. There was parking free around the corner but the women directed me to the $15 hotel lot. There was plenty of free parking. The worst was the women at the desk in the morning. My wife got a coffee near the front desk. Now, in any other hotel, if there was coffee at the entrance it for guests. The women started to shout that the coffee was not for guests. If so, there should be a sign, I'd say. No such thing. I will not stay here.

Great hotel but it is a bit of a hike from the train station and they did not offer shuttle service. It's best to take a taxi if possible. However I will say I came and went very late and very early alone and felt safe.

We're going to Volkfest!

Very convenient location near the Stuttgart airport, but far enough away to minimize the noise. Short walk to the transit station. Several large stores down the street for daily essentials. Overall a great choice for visiting Canestatter Volkfest and the Stuttgart area!

The property offers a parking garage, but the price is a little steep. To park in the garage it is 15 Euros per night. The hotel is very clean and organized. The rooms are cozy and have Air conditioning in the rooms that works adequately.

The reception staff were awesome. Beds were moderately comfortable, rooms were spotless, modern, and spacious. The only complaint about the rooms would be a faint drainage smell coming from two of the three rooms shower drain. Other than that I highly recommend the hotel!

Air conditioning does not work

The hotel is advertised to have air conditioning. We checked in and the air condition in our room was not working. The hotel management moved us to another room, same issue. Air conditioning did not work. It was hot throughout the night. When checking out in the morning, I mentioned that to the front desk and they said OK. That's all. I will never stay in this or any other Dorint hotel in the future. Preferably, I expected some refund since they advertised on Hotels.com having an air conditioned room.

Convenient hotel near the airport

The hotel serves the purpose for our business meeting in Stuttgart. Conveniently located near the airport so that our group could take taxi to the hotel as each of us arrived separately. Onsite restaurant is another plus as we could eat and prepare for our meeting the next day.

This hotel is ideal for people wanting to stay close to the airport at a reasonable price. It cost €12 for a taxi from the airport so its not really walking distance. Good modern clean hotel. Great Indian restaurant 50 yards away.
