Staff was so friendly and helpful!! Rooms were great and the hotel restaurant was delicious.

There's a lot of time wear in the building.... the laundry facility was pretty dirty.... The heat and the ice machine in the laundry room of facility did not work.... The shower set up in my room leaves a lot to be desired.. The knob to turn the shower on is on the opposite end of the open door.. So when you turn the shower on you get bombarded with cold water. Bad design.

The room was barely cleaned. Smelled like sewage. And front desk did nothing about the loud thumping music in the room next to ours all night

We stayed one night the reason we booked this hotel is because it had a pool when we tried to use it the filters were not working and it seemed like it was not cleaned in a very long time if the pool was out of service then you should have put a notice on your website before booking or at the very least a sign on the pool door so no one would use it as I did see people in the pool the room was very small for two bed and the washroom you can barely move and I asked for extra towels which I never received and the bed sheets were dirty

Parking was limited and not guaranteed.

I was visiting my daughter at Union College. This location is so convenient. I could walk to the school if I wanted. And I walked to Jay street to check out the shops and restaurants. Everything was clean, and the customer service was always on point. Very friendly and helpful. The service in the restaurant was particularly awesome. The staff goes out of their way to make guests feel taken care of. Well done!

One of the reasons we chose this hotel was the complimentary breakfast that was advertised, but Hotels.com concealed the fact that their booking did not include the breakfast.

Unfortunately, when I arrived, they did not have a booking for me. They told me they had it for the day before the lady at the counter was rude saying it’s not her fault that the booking was incorrect. They had to rebook my room use my credit card to hold and I am currently waiting for a manager to contact me in regards to a refund because I had already booked through you with a confirmation number.

We were riding on the Canalway trail and this hotel is just a few blocks away. Very convenient for us.

The parking an expensive vehicle in an area near the city where crime could be a problem

No free breakfast. SMALL bathroom. The property was otherwise pristine, the staff were lovely. I hope they are being paid well above average, because the price was way too high for just a bed and a shower for a night.

Piss was in the bed when we arrived

It was a very nice and comfortable stay. I was hoping to use the pool in the morning, but the area around the pool was not cleaned. Coffee cups lying around, somebody's clothes were laid out. There were no towels. The filter for the pool did not seem to be on. Sadly, I decided not to go into the water.

Great Place to Stay Near Union College

Very nice lobby area, bartender mixed a very good drink, staff was friendly and helpful, EV charger on site. Only drawback was broken elevator, and I couldn't find a fountain to fill up my water bottle.

My room was very comfortable. I was there 3 days and they cleaned all the days and gave me fresh linens. The in house bar the food taste amazing and the bar tender is personable.

Arrived on a snow storm but all well provided and staffed at the hotel.

Staff was polite and welcoming. The travel to everywhere was easy, Walmart was close by also it’s a Stewart’s near I loveee that.

When I book a Doubletree Hotel there is an anticipation that the property will be above average. The hotel in downtown Schenectady was not. The bathroom was extremely small. The blankets on the bed were inadequate. The facial tissue dispenser was empty.

My room hadn't been dusted in months. Nasty hard water stains on shower door. Something splattered on bathroom door. Broken glass on bathroom floor. Manager did change rooms. Much cleaner.

Convenience to where I needed to go to the hospital to my sons house

There are certainly worst places to stay at ends connectedy, but this is definitely a Hilton that does not quite live up to the brand. Some small issues in my room such as a flickering light fixture, refrigerator being too cold and freezing my food and drinks, very slow service, overpriced bad food. I think the staff is friendly enough, although service can be very slow, I don't blame them entirely. I feel like the issue is operational /management. It wasn't dirty however.

Every staff, collin to jason to Ryan was knowledgeable, helpful and made the stay exceptionally....The entire team wokred together for a perfect guest stay. Highly recommend and will book again when in NY

Quiet and clean

Everyone was super friendly. The room was comfortable and quiet. I did chose this hotel over another because your fitness facility looked like it had more. However, the left side of the cable machine was broke and there were only 3 attachments to it( 2 handles I had to fix and a bar that couldn’t be used) and the Peloton wouldn’t connect. I will be traveling to Albany more often and would like to stay again if the equipment in the fitness center is fixed.

I stay there often and it is a great place. However we were attempting to catch a very early morning flight and there was absolutely no running water out of any faucet today.

The only complaints I had were the alarm clock was very dim and I wasn't able to brighten it. Plus, the room didn't have a refrigerator.

The sheets, rags, and towels had stains on them. The sink was dirty. They did not do a thorough cleaning.

Our first night started out quietly, but twice between 3 AM and 8 AM there were loud conversations happening in the hallway outside our rooms.

The gentlemen at the front desk when i checked in was polite friendly kind just overall amazing also the place was quiet and clean i loved it

Very disappointed with this hotel stay. Elevators didn’t work, room smelled, AC hummed loudly, tub didn’t drain, loose electrical socket in the bathroom and dirty towel was left hanging from the shower curtain rod from previous guest.

Though the room was small and the bathroom door was a sliding barn door, overall it was extremely clean and quiet. The staff was always willing to answer any questions. The elevator broke down and it was fixed within a few hours. They were always making sure the guests were comfortable.

Room was extremely comfortable. Had a great night sleep and wonderful shower! Needs to be a little more convenient for those traveling with any type of physical disability.

I’m disappointed & don’t feel I got my Moneys worth. The inessentials policy caused me to pay basically the amount of another night in the room. For two, the bed didn’t not have clean sheets. There was a long blonde heat in my bed the first night of arrival which I had to wait til the next morning for them to be changed. The pillows were too soft so I self horribly. & there was this scary annoying clicking noise that made me feel like someone was repeatedly trying to enter my room very late at night. I didn’t get any sleep because I was so scared. It eventually stopped but I would never stay here again based on nightly fees, cleanliness, safety & too far from dining.

We picked this hotel to be able to park easily and be walking distance to downtown. For that it met our expectations and the bed was comfortable. Not a fan of the heavy sticky bathroom sliding door.

Property was clean quiet and I love the pool. It would’ve been nice if you had a hot tub.

Excellent breakfast with best and biggest fruit cup we’ve ever had. Electric outlets over desk and in bathroom were not energized even after recycling the GFIs, but other outlets met our needs. Great exhaust ventilation in the nice step in shower. All personnel were very cordial and helpful when called upon. While the hotel is 40 minutes from Saratoga Springs, it is a hugely better value than paying the exorbitant prices near the northern attractions.

Beautifully designed rooms. Very quiet. Beds were very comfortable (slept till 10 am). Helpful staff. Fire alarm was extra entertainment…at least not in the middle of the night!

Good. The handicap accessible room we had booked wasn’t one of the reserved rooms, but thankfully, staff found one for us. Not so good. The closest elevator was out of service, and we had a wheelchair.

I the room except for the refrigerator is not cool enough to keep my child food 😒 all my child food got spoiled because of the refrigerator wasn't cooling enough and the shower and need to replace didn't like it and the sink was so small every time i brush my tooth and wash my face the water get out all over the place because the sink is too small,but overall I had a good stay.
