Anniversary Trip

My husband and I, were celebrating our 30th anniversary and my birthday.We had a lovely stay at the Double Tree. Our room was extremely comfortable and clean. We had a junior suite with a kitchenette, wine glasses cutlery etc...it was very convenient and charming. The staff was attentive and the hotel made our special day more special with delicious treats and notes in our room. The area is very convenient..in walking distance of parks attractions shopping and restaurants I would definitely stay there again

Everything was ok during our stay. The hotel is very nice. It has a pool that is not very large but is heated and covered on the top floor.

The hotel gave us a room on the 12th floor, as the night progressed we started to hear a cart go every half hour and did not let us have a good night sleep.

If you have to stay in Lima, this is a little slice of serenity in that crazy city. The staff was great, and we especially loved hanging out on the rooftop by the pool.

I would highly recommend staying at this hotel! The rooms were very spacious and the facilities within, such as the pool, were nice. The only downside was that some of the rooms had no views from the window, which were facing another building.

Cons: very slow WiFi, outdated room, old carpeting (use the free slippers provided), poor in-room coffee (drip), some power outlets not working, gym doesn't open until 8 AM some days, hotel taxi charges twice the going rate

The staff and the facilities were all amazing. Great Stay! Within walking distance of parque Kennedy and many conveniences.

Perfect for relaxing and unwinding.

We arrived at night and stayed only one night, but enjoyed a pisco sour as a welcome drink at the dining bar. The only disappointment was that although it stated that there was an airport pickup service, there was not, and when I inquired about it, I did not receive a reply.

We absolutely love this hotel! Clean, Safe, Best Location, Amazing Restaurants, and Best Staff!! We always stay at their junior suite which gives us 2 full baths and a separate seating area (includes a sofa bed) we are a family of 4 so my daughters have plenty of space! This is definitely our favorite hotel in Lima!

It was my 9th time visiting Lima, Peru and that was my worst check-in experience by far. I asked for an early-check-in, not to be charged, as I had booked a king size bed suite, not a regular room, for the week and had arrived earlier. I understand that’s customary though not compulsory. The receptionist, called Jonathan, informed me that there were suites available, but he would only let me in charging almost a full extra day. After I repeated my request, he changed what he said, saying now that cleaning personnel was not available immediately for the room, and offered me instead that I could the restroom on the lobby or at the gym to take a shower. I also felt racial bias undertones in his manners. It was a simple request, made for someone who’s staying a business week at a suite. It should not be complicated. Really disappointed. I’m not recommending this hotel for anyone, nor I’ll book it in any future trip.

This hotel is located in close proximity to top restaurants in Miraflores. The staff service in all areas is superb. Extremely professional and accommodating. I travel to many places around the world, and this hotel is on my top 3. Free parking is very convenient. Breakfast buffet amazing. I will definitely go back. To improve: shower on second bathroom of suite did not have hot water.

This hotel is very nice with an upscale vibe. True to the Hilton brand. The rooms are emasculate. I had the 1 bedroom King suite which was very nice and modern. It also has 2 full modern bathrooms which made the room a step above ALL other suites of any brand. I will definitely return if I am ever in Lima again. The food at the hotel was AMAZING!! We all raved over how excellent the Doubletree Burger is!! Hotel is close proximity to everything and overall the service was good. Thank you Doubletree Lima Miraflores.

Outstanding. First class! Everything was clean, the gym was excellent & room service was fast, friendly & definitely my favorite. Centrally located to all the clubs and shopping.

This property is pretty with art, has a good restaurant, exercise room and pool. The staff goes above and beyond. I really enjoyed my stay.

Undisclosed Outdoor Rooftop Noise Parties

During my 9 night stay, there were 3 undisclosed crowded concert like events on the hotel rooftop, above the rooms, causing excessive NOISE and DISTURBANCES well past the guaranteed 10PM ZERO NOISE tolerance unconditional guarantee. Events on roof had unacceptably loud noise affecting most of hotel rooms cause by loud blasting music, singing, yelling, screaming on speaker devices, which disturbed most if not all guests. Noise entered my room through the exterior windows and the plumbing lines in the bathroom. Unable to sleep, Front Desk Rep was contacted 2 separate nights but he failed to even go to rooftop to view the disturbance and took no action to eliminate noise, allowing loud noise to continue well into the night in violation of local laws. Offer to change rooms was rejected as noise affected all rooms. Hotel was responsible for controlling the events in its hotel. Contacted Hotels.com but hotel refused to stop disturbances from event. I stayed at hotel before COVID for over 10 nights during Christmas and New Years and the hotel was quiet but new rooftop events to generate extra income causes unwanted disturbances for guests. After complaining to local municipality, hotel even refused my request to leave the hotel 2 days early even after speaking for over an hour about the noise events to a manager. Moreover, there is a noisy club, a half block away, with terrible noise until at least 2AM. Rooftop Events are not consistent with expectations of guests of rooms.

This is our 1st time to visit Lima Peru. In the beginning we are staying with Exe miraflores. This is a big mistake we ever book.We never liked it and then we moved to Doubletree hotel. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very Excellent. I give them 6 star.

La zona de la piscina está muy bien y el uso muy seguro. El servicio a la habitación fue PÉSIMO llame tres veces para solicitarlo siempre decían que iban a atenderlo y nunca lo hicieron y así dicen que son 5 estrellas? No recomendable su servicio a la habitación.

Over charge!!! Property did not returned the sales taxes. Foreigners not pay sales taxes in Peru. Property charge full price. Expedía need to do something about it!!

Underwhelming experience

The description on the website didn't match with what there was in the hotel. In the booking through hotels.com, it did say that the room has a bath and a shower but when we got there we were told that rooms in this hotel have only showers. Somehow, a very nice lady (Macarena) found us a room with a bath but the room was facing the main road which was too noisy, so no rest. Windows were so dirty that it reminded me of cheap motels somewhere in the desert. Must say though, the staff was very professional. Not sure that this hotel is worth that kind of money.

This was our first time in Peru for a family trip. Great hotel for a family of four. They provide robes and slippers in the room which we appreciate. This hotel is within walking distance of ancient ruins.

Property was fresh and new giving a clean modern look. Hard to tell the name on front as is not above the door.

I liked that it was clean, quiet and comfortable. The pool was shallow. Could do with a spa. The coffee maker in the room was a bit sub-standard.

Nice hotel

Very nice hotel. Only issue is they only give you one wash cloth and two towels, but you can easily get more. Our WiFi did not work but they gave us the hotel password and that worked fine. Very friendly staff in a great location.

They charge my credit card for 59$. I email them, but didn’t get any response yet. At the check out everything was Fine. I didn’t use anything out of the mini bar or has any charges to the room. I try to contact them without any reply.

Short Business stay in Lima.

Very nice hotel with great service. Nice rooms with great amenities and very comfortable beds. The breakfast was nice and delicious.

This property was in a safe location and within walking distance to stores, restaurants, banks, ect. It is very well maintained and the staff is excellent! It is in a very busy area and has the hustle and bustle of most large cities so if you want a quiet and calm atmosphere, this is not the place for you. However, the rooms are pretty quiet so we were able to sleep very well.

The room had an odor the entire time. And on our second day, we woke up to a pounding noise that lasted well over 4 hours. Never again would I come back.

The hotel was safe and I felt secure when inside. The restaurant we went to was nice and reasonably priced. While we were there the pool was under maintenance so we weren’t able to use it. We had ordered a taxi for a group of us and were quoted a price for the trip. When the bill came it was more than double the quoted price, however, they fixed a majority of the extra cost so it was closer to the original quoted rate.

I booked a king suite in mid September. Clean quite room with plenty of clean hot water and good working air conditioning. However the service could've been better for the price, food was sub-par for the prices also. The pool needs attention in appearances, function and an attendant would be nice. I tried to take a relaxing swim to unwind (the reason I booked this hotel over Marriott) but could not due to a large group of obnoxious kids splashing and literally fighting in the pool with no respect for other guests. Staff should have been on top of this for the sake of their guests but nobody was around or even watching.

They did not give me my HHonors points and indicated that is the El Pardo policy since the reservation came thru Expedia. Next time I will have to do it thru the Hilton web or pick another hotel.

The Staff at this Hotel are excellent, extremely friendly, speak intelligent English, and are very informative about the options for travelling around Lima and onwards to Cusco and Machu Picchu. The buffet breakfast is excellent. The concierge desk is a fountain of knowledge. Just an all around great hotel to stay in.

We are very happy with the desk staff, Juan at the door and the consierge. We were upgraded to a suite and got a late check out. Terrific! Every time we visit Lima we will stay at El Pardo DTree. The airport bus drops off and picks up right at the door. This is a real plus since Lima traffic is the worst.

Staff was very helpful and property was very comfortable and clean. I could not ask for a better location! Highly recommended!

It is an excellent location for leisure and business with easy access by car. Sounder by bar and restaurants. Walking distance to the plaza, church and the municipality. The staff is always gracefully dealing with visitors from around the world. The sad note is coming from HHonor who is not crediting the nights and money spent in the location

Lovely 3-day visit!

Very nice hotel in a great location. Pleasant 20-30 minute stroll to Larcomar complex. Food in the main/upscale restaurant was excellent. We had to change rooms due to a sprinkler leak - automatically upgraded us to a very nice room which we weren’t expecting. Staff very accommodating. Highly recommend.

Luxury hotel in great location. Excellent breakfast and courteous staff. One thing to remember is to ask the taxi fares before you use hotel taxi.

Great place to spend some time in Lima. The staff are exelent and are more than willing to help. The food is outstanding and will make you want more. I will be returning with my family for another swim in the lovely pool.

Lovely and polite staff but the rooms need to be checked out. The first room we were given stank of humidity but we were quickly changed to another room, the staff was really accommodating. The second room also stank of food and you could hear the neighbor coughing all night. They must sort the rooms out. The swimming pool was dirty.

After the absurdly long check-in process and rude desk staff, everything went swimmingly well. It’s a very nice hotel in a nice neighborhood.

Staff were excellent. Always available and always providing valuable, accurate information. Breakfast buffet was a vast spread of sumptuous dishes. Bar is cozy. My main contact was Anna, who made me feel at home, through out the period after booking till arrival. Had 3 flight changes, still she worked hard to get me the taxi service to the hotel. Always responded to the phone and email. Loved the service.
