We visit this spot a couple of times a year. Such a beautiful location along the river. Very nice.

Amazing staff

Hotel was nice and staff was amazing. Pool was closed. Wish we would have known before booking.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Doubletree Hilton in Port Huron. The staff were excellent, going above and beyond at every opportunity. As someone who considers themself to be a hotel snob, I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The only issue we had was that the pool was closed

Good stay

Double check the information on Hotels.com with the actual hotel information. We had a hiccup with breakfast and had to pay an extra $16 when we got there. :( Otherwise, nice stay. Hotel room was simple yet clean. Pool wasn’t available, so again, check before you go if that’s important to you. Nice view of the bridge and river, too.

Don’t book it for the pool

We booked this hotel specifically for the pool and waterslide that is under construction and has been for a while even though this is not stated. Very disappointed children after a long day

This is our second time staying at this hotel. It is still a top notch place to stay. Rooms are very quiet and the view of the international bridge is excellent. We were only disappointed the pool was closed this time as they have the best hotel pool in the area.

Thin on staffing; No one available to assist with bags. Had to wait and obtain luggage cart myself. Otherwise, it was a very enjoyable stay.

Very nicely updated. Tile shower and glass door vs. old tub and shower curtain. Tasteful design.

Alexandra was awesome! Very personal and professional.

Wonderful stay. Very clean and friendly. A little confused about where to go for breakfast. Maybe a little more signage for that that but otherwise a pleasant stay.

I had Electricity problems on and off! Then I used the microwave and one side of my room was out! They didn't try to accommodate me or nothing. I won't be going back.

Could have been worse, could have been better

The bathroom wasn't as clean as I would have hoped, and the carpet wasn't the cleanest, definitely missed some spots with the vacuum. The pool area was nice but there was no towels for almost a hour. The cookies Doubletrees have are a nice touch! Also nice having a restaurant attached. The view was beautiful. I was able to check in a hour early which was super appreciated as well!

Very accomodating with room change, loved watching the river, boats and bridge.

Wonderful Hotel

Great stay, my wife and I went for our Anniversary we had a great time. Gym was great pool and hot tub the shower in our room the beds. The staff was great and very helpful absolutely would come again and definitely will.

The staff at the hotel and restaurant were fantastic. The only issues (if you'd even call them that) are that the walls were thin (I could hear the full conversation from the room next to us) and some of the interior of the room was outdated/worn.

Rooms recently remodeled. Very nice TV. Refrigerator in room. Crabbie bartender and front desk. Must have been a long weekend for them.

Very friendly check in staff. Clean rooms. Good location for shopping etc.

No quiet hours were enforced. The tvs in the rooms had spotty reception. Nice restaurant/breakfast, gift shop/boutique, and clean rooms.

A Wonderful Mini Trip

We had a great stay. We were checked in early, without judgement. The rooms are updated and comfortable. I would have liked two arm chairs and not just one, and maybe an ottoman for the chair. And there was only two towels. I know we could have requested more. Otherwise, it was wonderful.

This motel is absolutely wonderful. It’s quiet,and clean. Beds are very comfortable. Staff was friendly and welcoming! Loved the warm cookie!!!!

The walls were paper thin. I could here my neighbors in the next room talking as if they were in the same room with me- and they weren’t talking loud.

the room was clean, but there are signs of aging. The tile n the bathroom were very dirty on the top of them that made a boarder and also on the base of the shower door.

My wife and daughter stayed the night before catching the train. Staff was great and property was clean. Restaurant food was good as well. They would stay again.

Come up here 2-3 times a year. Only 30 min from Clinton Twp. Love Freighters to eat. Right on the St. Clair River with awesome views of blue water bridge and freighters that go up and down the river!

The hotel area is nice. It’s. It many restaurants in the area. The food is a bit pricey. The bed is very uncomfortable. For the price for the stay there should be better beds and bedding.

Room was clean & fairly comfortable. I didn't get a king size bed as requested. No information provided relating to services such as room service, etc. Apparently you have to scan & read a QR code for any information. I missed the book with listings & information.

Very comfortable stay and lovely view. However, I hope EV chargers are installed soon. I wasn’t able to charge my car here overnight, which would be a great convenience, since I was traveling. This amenity will factor highly into whether I stay here again.

Great place to stay in Port Huron

Great location in Port Huron next to the St Clair River. Great views of freighters and pleasure boats traversing between Lake Huron and Lake St Clair (ask for a river-side room!). Adjacent to a very nice restaurant that also has river views. Lots to see in Port Huron too.

I liked it

Port huron is my hometown. So whenever i visit if i don't stay with family i book my room at the Doubletree Hilton. The rooms are clean and have beautiful views, the pool is clean and they greet you at checkin with delicious warm cookies. I am disabled and use a walker so they have elevators and ramps for use which helps me so much. The lady at the counter was such a sweet heart (she worked 7/3/24 the night shift I forgot her name, but she was very kind). The restaurant is nice and eating outside facing the water is so relaxing. I adore Hiltons and will always support the hotels in my travels.

This was a great place to take the family for the 4th of July and see the ships and Blue Water Bridge up close! Easy drive to downtown Port Huron and to the beaches on Lake Huron, plus a cool Thomas Edison museum, as this was his boyhood home.

Very nice place to stay and watch the freighters. Pool is very large and the grounds are kept beautiful. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Warm cookies at check in was so nice.

Nice, but could be better

Hotel was in a nice location and condition of hotel was good, but although check in was listed as 3:00 pm, when we arrived at 4:45 pm was told our room was still being cleaned. When we were able to go to our room at 5:15, there was half a roll of toilet paper to use and no extra. Had to ask for some the next morning. Stayed for 3 nights and room was restocked with towels once. Shampoo that was supposed to be provided was empty and the sink didn't drain well. Don't know if they were short on staff, but hopefully not common practice.

Bed are comfy

The hotel is by the St Clair River and has a beautiful view of the Blue Water Bridge. One can walk across the road and take a stroll along the waterfront. You can also spend your day watching big freighters go up the river to Lake Huron.

Access to entertainment, history of the area, views of the water and the food at the restaurant are all some the the things we like about this hotel.

Staff were friendly, however our room was not cleaned upon arrival. There were shoe prints on the chairs, and there was also garbage under the desk and smoke butts on our outdoor patio where it said “no smoking”. Attention to detail when cleaning definitely lacked, but the hotel in general was very clean. Delicious breakfast also!
