Loved it, prices for packages should be more cheaper, that would be great

The hotel is tired in places with many of the rooms requiring maintenance eg leaking toilet flushes or smelling of damp and heating not working etc. the hotel offers a lot of amenities however check in staff are so rushed given numbers attending each day that they are unable to explain all the features, so you will have to find this out for yourself. The upgrade didn’t happen as they were fully booked and the arrival wine had been missed but was rectified a few days later. The spa services were good and on the whole the food was pleasant

Loved the fact room cleaned impeccably each day (thanks Wilma) - loads for the children beach volleyball, baby slide, food decent, it's inexpensive hotel - so a bit shady around the edges but was good family trip

The resort was OK, expected much more for this resort but the reception staff were of little help the entire stay, which left s bad taste in the mouth. The food tastes the same in all the restaurants including the main buffet, tasteless, some of the staff working there were helpful, but most were not.

We stayed here for seven days for our honeymoon. The area is lovely and close to the water but it is NOT beachfront. We received an upgraded room and bottle of Prosecco for booking with Expedia. The room was spacious and the air conditioning worked well enough, although it runs on motion sensors and seemed to turn off in the middle of the night. The fan stopped working while we were there and despite a maintenance request, nobody ever came to fix our mini fridge which was not keeping anything cold. The staff was terrific and kind and everyone spoke English. The buffet was good but not great. Not a ton of variety and the meats left something to be desired. The vegetables were not fresh, you could tell by the crinkle cut carrots that they were frozen. The desserts were uninspiring but the ice cream was great. If you have been to an All Inclusive in Mexico or Aruba or Jamaica, you will be disappointed. Also, this is a family resort, so expect dozens of screaming children and all bars to be closed by midnight. Zero nightlife. Tons of British tourists who all smoke for some reason. The Levant restaurant was the best of the a la cartes, while Salia and the Brazilian BBQ were also very good. The Asian restaurant was very disappointing. Lots of pools and we never had an issue finding a sun lounger. Do not pay for the All Inclusive Plus unless you REALLY want name brand liquors. The AI lounge never had a single person in it and it closes at 10pm.

The hotel is reasonable if tired in places. Bar queuing system was a little trusting and choice of drinks limited. Wine was pretty much undrinkable and even purchase options were limited. Food was ok, good to have non buffet restaurant options too. Breakfast was decent though the coffee wasn’t great. Towel collection and deposit system annoying for an all inclusive - plus the towels are tiny and not beach size, better to take your own. The spa facilities were excellent and I enjoyed two treatments during my visit. The entertainment was pretty good - dancers worked hard and were talented - the dome venue seems mostly for families, adult entertainment of Disney show was a bit weird.

The food was ok with plenty of choices.

Amazing

Overall we had a great time at this hotel. The rooms are a great size and the hotel is very clean. The pools are great and always found there to b plenty of sunbeds despite it being very busy. The food was fine. the buffet was o but got a bit boring towards the end of our stay so I would recommend booking the restaurants. The food in the bookable restaurants was better but still not amazing. The food was typical of an all inclusive hotel.

Very friendly staff

Unless your kids just want to swim in an adult pool and participate in mediocre activities, then this isnt a "child friendly" resort from you. The childrens pool, which is pretty pathetic, one tiny slide and a mushroom waterfall, was closed when we were there so we didnt even manage to use that. The resort overall is pretty average, the buffet (Coral) is actually pretty good with a wide choice of foods. We found all the other bookable restaurants in the resort to be really poor with the exception of Salia which was pretty good. The staff were generally approachable and helpful, the rooms were kept clean and tidy, house-staff/maintenance were quick to respond to requests. My only negative comment is reserved for the English shop keeper in the Laguna Shop who downstairs was incredibly abrasive and on a constant warpath. She had a bone to pick with everyone and made you know about it.

We really enjoyed our stay, location was great and the hotel had a lot of different options to do excursions

This property was great for the family however the air conditioning in the rooms is really terrible for summer weather. The reception are obviously aware because they immediately offer fans. Reception and the restaurants are freezing so the lack of air in the rooms seems definitely to be a cost saving exercise, which is disappointing for guests.

We had a fantastic time here. The food is great and Location is also great. The beach is just cross the road and it is very good for the kids to play. The bus stop is also close and bus goes to all the famous places. The service in the hotel is good too. There are always food and bars open till midnight. As a family, Both adults and children enjoyed our stay in the hotel.

Hotel is ok, a little dated and tired in places. We could not get a booking into the restaurants we wanted so ended up going off site for dinner. The food is average and drinks below average quality, served in plastic cups. I think it’s fine for a family all inclusive stay.

Nice hotel, raise complaints to manager

As a family of four we had a lovely holiday at dB Seabank. The facilities were great, the pool ideal for the number of guests and we didn't ever struggle to get sunbeds. The Animation team were great, offering loads of activities throughout the day without being too overbearing. The food and drinks offered were nice and varied enough that we didn't get bored over the week. The themed restaurants were good too although it's a shame they don't offer juice for the kids, this is only on offer in the main buffet restaurant. The only downside of the whole week was the air conditioning not working in our room. I reported it on the third day and reported it still hadn't been fixed every day for the rest of the week. On checkout I mentioned it again and the manager on duty said I should have brought it to his attention. It's a shame that none of the reception staff had done this earlier.

Good hotel.limited food options, poor communication amongst staff at times. Rooms are not sound proof and can be very noisy when people are walking on the corridor. A lot renovation work going in at the hotel at moment which can be an inconvenience due to high noise levels during the day.

No complaints we loved the resort and will definitely return. Our issue was with Expedia arranging our trip home once a flight was cancelled well in advance. But as for the resort, wonderful place! Money well spent.

The resort is very nice clean and has a great view of the beach but the food at the restaurants was awful Worse food I’ve ever had a sentiment shared by most guests Although it’s all inclusive we found ourselves eating out every day

The staff were at first stating that we were not due a bottle of wine. When I showed them the printed page showing it the reluctantly said we would get it but it took 2 days to arrive. The place is too big............sprawled and full of children who were helping themselves at the buffet tables plus running around which was dangerous for a number of handicapped seniors.

Super resort

Super resort, very welcoming and kind staff (especially AJ, Jonathan and Marion), wide choice of extra restaurants. Not much within walking distant except small beach in lovely calm bay, with shallow water. Mini golf very primitive! Overall, would return in the future.

Couple of restaurants closed limiting the food options and the main restaurant coral doesn’t alter the menu day to day.

The view was nice. Easy access to the beach. I did not like the availability of specialty restaurants. The staff did not explain what amenities were available when we checked in. In an emergency, staff was not trained and put guests at potential risk.

No warning about building works

We were not told about building works. Hammer drills all day long even at weekends. This rather spoiled things for us. Hotel and grounds were very clean. We were all inclusive plus and guest relations were excellent ensuring that we were happy with everything.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The food was excellent, all staff members were extremely friendly and helpful. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Plenty of space around the pool areas and a beautiful view of the sea. We would definitely come again.

It’s not near anything but that’s like most hotels in Malta easy to get about but it takes long to get to short distances download bolt is a must for taxi

Pool was good and the service was good. The hotel food was very good with a good choice of food for adults and children and the drinks were decent quality as well. The hallways and rooms did have quite a few ants around and there were quite a few wasps around the pool area especially if drinks were left out or spilled. The mini golf was pretty poor and I didn’t see anyone use it.

Great stay with good facilities and friendly staff. Public areas and rooms seemed to be clean and well maintained but the corridors were oddly institutional (not a big problem really) Plenty of parking available for our hire car, so we could come and go without worrying too much about getting a space (Sep visit). As we were exploring Malta we didn't spend too much time in the pool areas, but it was nice that there was an adults only section where things were quieter.

Definitely this is not a 4* hotel, the maintenance service has to come 3 times to our room as nothing is working, also the cleaning is very poor as the food. No access to the beach either from the resort

The hotel is ‘okay’

Overall it is an ‘okay’ hotel. The best bit being the food selection. The hotel was busy (to be expected in July) and the pools were overcrowded. We got around this by swimming at the end of the day when it was quieter. We tended to go out during the day. If you plan to stay there all day everyday, the noise and crowds may get tiresome. We met a mixture of staff. A few were very helpful. The English lady manager at reception was lovely. However most of the staff seemed very stressed and not particularly helpful. Parking was easy and free, loads of spaces under the hotel. The biggest downside to the hotel (and the one that would stop me staying her again) is how much noise you can hear from the rooms. We have all come home exhausted after getting very little sleep. You could hear when a guest walked past in flipflops, that’s how thin the walls were! The cleaners worked tirelessly and kept our room very clean. So overall, the hotel is okay. Calling it a 4* may be pushing it slightly, but it wasn’t terrible.

Lack of staff on reception and so long queues, no AC unit around hotel especially in hallway leading to rooms. Too much noise coming from hallway outside bedroom. Cannot accommodate requests put months in advance for special birthdays, cot etc. Same food menu served in Coral restaurant for lunch and dinner.

We were impressed from the moment we arrived at the hotel. It's a large complex, and yet everything was clean, tidy and the staff were polite and helpful. The food at all the restaurants that we tried was also varied and very nice; although for the 'themed' restaurants you have to book through the hotel's webpage which is a bit clunky. This was our first time at an all-inclusive hotel and we weren't entirely sure what to expect from the drinks on offer. Whilst there was plenty to choose from, including cocktails, nothing seemed to really pack a punch.

Not a great value for money

TLDR; It's not a 4-star hotel by what I expected. We stayed at the hotel for 7 days during a family holiday all-inclusive from early June. Our very first experience with the room and the corridor was an unpleasant odour. I thought it was just a temporary issue but unfortunately, it was both on the passage and in the room for the entire stay. The second very bothering thing is the air conditioning - you can not set the desired temperature in the room. The only option is to use a colour-coded dial and have a terrible hit-and-miss of either too cold (only at night) or too warm during the mid-day. That unfortunately was the reality as the unit was not powerful enough. It's not a single case as our friends who stayed in two other rooms had exactly the same experience. During summer, this makes it very hard to rest at noon when it's too hot outside. The hotel feels like it's abandoned by the manager(s). Either they are not present or they are snowblind about the general condition of the hotel, rooms, furniture, corridors, etc. Service was OK-ish. 2 out of 10 staff we interacted with were kind and positive. The majority of the staff is indifferent and not pleasant to interact with - especially reception or the bars' staff. Perhaps this is due to very poor gender equality at the hotel. The majority of the staff is male, unfortunately. Food is also OK-ish. Hit and miss. As for a Mediterranean location, I was expecting excellent fish and seafood, but I was disappointed.

Staff here are always working hard to keep it clean and maintained. Maron an Rachel at front desk very helpful.Matthew at Salia strives for perfection. Very friendly, customers come first. Large variety of eating establishments.

I can give this hotel 5 stars as everything is available the food in the all inclusive was amazing the Ala cart restaurant was so good but hard to reserve like only some available you need to book as soon as you come, the adult pool and the main pool are wonderful, the only thing i need to say is when I come they treated us as regular while we reserve the all inclusive plus which is more amenities available to us and I knew something was wrong so they have to change our bracelet to the vip and we started using it for everything, there is a vip club which is great different drinks different snacks always available with breakfast snacks and drink, the Asian restaurant was amazing, Salia was great but I didn’t like Laguna that much, the levant is a very nice with Mediterranean style, I really recommend the hotel to everyone, also close to pious village like 10 min walk so as other shops and beaches are very nice, staff was so nice especially Hussam, Mohammed and the manager helped us a lot so as Leadia she was great, beautiful hotel thank you Expedia

Looked good on paper…

I booked 3 family rooms requesting they be together but for some unknown reason they weren’t! They had allocated rooms before arrival then refused to amend them even though rooms either side were empty - was very frustrated with the receptionist Blanka! The hotel is big! Much bigger than I’ve stayed in previously. The food was good and plentiful, but it was a shame there were roadworks outside the hotel which ruined eating outside on the terrace experience. The main restaurant was very busy and noisy and felt more like an eating shed. The special restaurants were all nice though. The pools are good but the indoor pool is only accessible for kids are certain times which is totally understandable but the way the kids get asked to vacate the pool when the time is up is plain rude. The tone of staff at reception, pool and spa and main restaurant leaves a lot to be desired for. I booked on hotel.com and had 20% off spa services, however when booking was told that the treatment chosen didn’t qualify for discount, as it was on a different page to the others! Very confusing and unclear and was met with once again unhelpful staff. The main positive was the housekeeping! We had very friendly and helpful housekeeper in room 2427 called Naeem who was exceptional! Clean room everyday and always had a smile on his face. Also special mention to Mina in Salia restaurant who was again very pleasant and great at her job! Overall a disappointing experience and wouldn’t come back.

Nice stay for family

Clean and nice hotel. Minor issues in our room to be fixed by plumber. A lot of hungry moskitos!!!

The room was spacious. I loved the privacy with the "separated room" for my child. No english speaking tv channels (at least for kids). The main bed was huge! The housekeeping cleaned our room daily, which was good! I liked the idea of the refilling water stations kids club was the only disappointment. We were planning to go to the spa and spend time together as couple for maximum 1h and we were counting to leave our son in the kids club hoping that he could have some fun, create great memories by doing activities as advertised (bowling, archery, play ball, etc) and interact with other kids... but the animation crew (only 1 person) sat there on his mobile and the kids were doing whatever they want. My son did some colouring and reading on his own. When we first left our child there, the staff member had gone to the toilet with other child and the others were left unattended, so we were apprehensive to leave him there. I've asked reception about it... but they were not sure about the programme too. The indoor swimming pool was only available for children from 3pm until 7pm. During the day we had the freezing cold outdoor swimming pool, which I didn't dare to go. They were doing some works near the swimming pool, at the kids area probably to be ready for summer. It was a shame we couldn't use it this time. The restaurant and food were good. We couldn't book for the other restaurants at the hotel (brazilian) as it was already fully booked during our stay. Overall was good.

This is not a 4 star property. Rooms are basic, hotel needs a full revamp and there is a smell of sewage in most corridors. Food is a strong ‘meh’ at best of times. Staff are good though they just haven’t been given the tools to deliver.

Excellent pool view room to watch the sun set.excellent salia italian, excellent reception bar,excelent laguna restruant excellent location, unfortunately no outdoor heated pool and indoor one was far too busy. Rodizio was extremley poor which was a shame because that was the one I was most looking forward to. Coral restruant also extremley poor too big, busy and chaotic.Thankfully only needed to go in twice due to the other ones. Jungle,oriental and middle eastern were good.Im glad I perservered to book them as it was tricky. I really liked the laguna restruant for breakfast and lunch,shame it wasnt open more often. Overall had a good stay but would need a few changes to be excellent. The weather was great for March, everyone sunbathing and in the pools all week which was an excellent surprise for us.

The property was clean, and the staff friendly. . . Food was less than manageable (greasy and overcooked). . . Power went out for multiple hours during the eveing, rendering everything non-usable. Place lacks an adult friendly environment... as kids are often unsupervised or not noticed within the hours stated. All in all.. will not return

Not a 4 star hotel; amenities unusable

Not a 4 star hotel. Only heated pool is a small indoor pool closed noon-3pm for kids - insufficient size for number of rooms (outdoor pools are literally colder than the sea). Room was old with broken pieces; other amenities exceptionally run down/ minimal open hours. Very disappointed- would not recommend to anyone I know. Have been very pleased with other hotels on malta.

Our fifth time here. Love it every time. Gets better with each visit. Staff members are great and very helpful and hardworking.

Nice Hotel with large room’s and a huge outdoor pool. Food option’s were a bit repetitive, the spa area would benefit from an upgrade and it would be better if the Gym was open later in the evenings. Overall a good stay though and lovely staff.

Faultless hotel

When we checked in we had reserved a sea view and the room they gave us was on the side with a view of the sea if you were to go out on the balcony and look around the corner. At reception we were told that there were no more sea view so had to upgrade . Felt a little cheated. Also at r reception they didn’t tell us about booking restaurants so when we eventually found out from another holiday maker that we needed to book the whole weeks it was too late and there were none of the specialty restaurants left for the whole week. We complained at reception and they did manage to find us two evenings. Very disappointing as if we’d had the information our stay would have been so different. When we went to the restaurants they were only half full so not sure why they didn’t have any room . Apart from this the hotel is great even as adults travelling without kids as there was plenty of quiet space.

This resort has everything. Food was very good and staff went above and beyond to please. My only complaints are about the room itself - the AC was sometimes not working, but a call to reception usually fixed it. Also, this resort is extremely family-friendly, so I wouldn't recommend for adults who want some peace and quiet.

Great stay

First impression at the hotel was not very good. A busy and chaotic reseption area, staff in the reception not very helpful to explain how things work in the hotel, and the hallways and room seemed to be a bit outdated (could need some refreshing). All inclusive was ok, but nothing more. Difficult to book table in the different restaurants, and food was so and so (best choice for us was the oriental/asian). Best part of the hotel is the swimming pool area, with lots of sunbeds and large pool. Also the activity group was very enthusiastic and good fun for the whole family. All in all, an ok place to stay, but not too memorable I'm afraid.

Overall good

Well kept pool and grounds. Not consistent for allergy sufferies with signage and offer. Very eco conscious with water filling stations. Breakfast drinks were poor quality (coffee and juice options). Great spa and indoor pool.

Positives were very clean comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Had couple of issues with room, ie air conditioning leaking and dripping through main light. When we came back all fixed and repainted, so we’re very efficient in resolving problems. Negative, would not say it is for non-families. Only small section for adults only pool and sun beds and for eating. Other than that overrun with children and families. No point in trying to attend entertainment as families were saving up to 20 seats at a time. It was not advertised as a property weighted towards families/ children, would have chosen alternative hotel. Food ok, buffet for all Restaurants including speciality. Good mix but poor cuts of meat, inedible as full of fat. Walked out of the brazilian restaurant as food was not good at all. The Moroccan one was great.

Overall, it's a good hotel to stay

Hotel has good size pools, nice entertainment, different restaurants for dinner, but it was the busiest hotel I have been, which makes really stressful to find space to swim, to relax and even to enjoy eating. Despite this, hotel manages to be clean and function well. Food in the main restaurant is buffet style, not very tasty. Brazilian restaurant does not have real Brazilian food, and barbecue is precooked, which makes it dry. Lebanese restaurant was very good and Asian as well. We didn't have chance to try Solis, as it was always unavailable. Air conditioning in the room does not work well. Too weak in the morning when sun is baking the room, and too strong in the evening when all you need is a constant temperature to sleep well.

Amazing

This is a great hotel for families. I travelled with my husband and two sons (aged almost 5 and almost 2) and it was perfect for us. The pool areas were great and kept the kids entertained for hours. Room was always cleaned well. Food choice was great and standard generally good. We had a family room and it was a really good size with a nice outdoor area. Staff were generally very friendly, our son had some specific dietary requirements and the manager and chefs (especially the main chef) were helpful in sorting this. Special shout out to Jonathon in The Coral who always made an extra effort with the kids. There were only some minor points I thought they could improve on: - The reception staff weren’t always friendly or helpful - The booking process for the speciality restaurants is a faff and not user friendly (the machines in the lobby were easier than using the QR code given), but we did manage to book for 4 nights - Although mostly good, some of the food wasn’t the best quality, sometimes the meat was very fatty or bony and the ice cream wasn’t great - I would have loved some traditional Maltese food to be offered in one of the restaurants - Drinks selection and quality in the restaurants wasn’t great. Often watered down and the beer and wine quality was poor. Often they’d run out of white wine and sometimes it was warm. It was generally better in the bars. I wouldn’t say any of these things was a huge issue and for the price it was great value.

Not the Best Start or Impression

We arrived late to the hotel, person at checkin did so quickly as we had a 7 year old with us. On arrival in room it was pretty much infested with ants. After phoning reception twice eventually after an hour someone came and sprayed all the skirtings and bottom of wardrobe. Took nearly 2hrs for the smell and fumes to go. Eventually got to bed at 1am. Had to report again the following morning and they put down ant bait. Not very acceptable but given no other choice. We had asked for a room with balcony not facing another balcony as child has adhd. We paid for a pool view room and ended up looking at the back of a toilet block near noisy entrance below. The staff in the animation team were excellent and the general staff in the restaurants couldn't be faulted. Pool area nice and plenty of beds. They do day entry for outside guests which during peak time, wkends can be very busy. The staff however at the front desk were not friendly at all, not very helpful. Heard various guest's complain and spoken to very badly. Checkout was awful, constant interruption by other members of staff to lady dealing with me and not one excuse me or apology. A smile doesn't cost anyone anything, real let down by front of house staff and not the best first impression.

I don’t normally write reviews but this is the 2nd time I have stayed at this hotel and it’s gone down in my opinion. The staff are lovely and work very hard and the hotel has lots of good features like a huge pool, specialty restaurants and an adults only swim up bar. My main concern was the cleanliness, when I checked into my room the were old sweets in the corner of the room and crisp under the bed which shows the room hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned. Also the wasp situation hasn’t changed since the last time I was there which was 4 years ago. You cant just sit down and enjoy a drink or meal outside without millions of them around you. The outside toilets need to be cleaned more and need toilet seats or seats that fit. The outside bar had this awful smell like a zoo, not sure if it was the drains but it was awful and was there for the full 10 days. Also their needs to be air con in the theatre as it was sweltering in their whilst watching the entertainment. Apart from that it’s a lovely hotel, just needs improvements in a few areas.

Great staff, good facilities, good choice of restaurants. Plenty of sunbeds and pools. Staff were really friendly and helpful, especially in the restaurants. Only bad thing was on Sunday when the all inclusive daily rate allows people to visit, the restaurants were packed with queues and food was running out. The numbers really need to be looked at with regards to the occupancy.

The choice of food was excellent in all restaurants. All drinks were fine. The staff were friendly and courteous. There were plenty of sun loungers. Also liked the adults section, both round the pool and in the Coral restaurant

All Inclusive

Our stay was here was amazing. The hotel has lots of amenities and activities for the whole family. The food was delicious and different every day, stayed there 6 days and never once repeated food options. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The only thing that would’ve been nice to know is that they have courtesy shuttle to and from the airport but have to call ahead of time. Overall everything was perfect, would definitely stay there again. Oh let me not forget to mention that they have a photographer that takes amazing family pictures.

Good hotel but needs some small improvements

Good hotel, with good facilities and entertainment, the downsides being that the food was over complicated, not much choice for children. Drinks were very weak and watered down (soft drinks) and there was a terrible infestation of wasps around the pool area which made it unbearable and sometimes unsafe for small children and babies when they swarmed. The pools were very nice, lots of shade available and you could swim around the clock. The kids nightly disco was great and the kids club was a nice relief from the heat. Rooms were very clean and spacious although the air conditioning was not the best and if you have a pool room the sun coming through the window gives the greenhouse affect in the room. Staff were great around the hotel and the animation team were excellent. Reception staff lacked good customer service. Overall a good stay but can be improved in some areas. Fantastic hotel. Excellent cleanliness with great food and drink options. Really well designed for families with young children.

Hotel was lovely, very clean and well kept. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was good, breakfast was lovely. Rooms were clean and comfortable, with little noise at night.

We were recommended by our daughter who stayrd with you previously and were not disappointed. The staff were fabulous and made our stsy very enjoyable. Just twp recommendations would be that the sound system in the dome really needs to be updated as didnt do the performers the justice they deserved. We are a musical family and husbsnd is a sound engineer and singer for a Big Band at home so really noticed the lack of clarity in lyrics. Secondly the cocktails available on the all inclusive rate were very weak

at first , the location is wonderfull . the meals are perfect . the staff is very polite and proffessional . BUT : 1) in all the countries we where , the late check-out up to 2 hours was free of charge , and here we had to pay10 euro for each hour from 11.00 .(and , by the way , we entered the hotel at 23.55 ! , but paid for all the day ) . 2) all-inclusive , here , is only a local drinks . if yo u want even a JB , or Martini, you have to pay . 3) there are no slippers and bathrobes in the rooms . 4) the air conditioner in the room was very weak - it was too cold all the time ( you cant be naked in the room , and have to think twice to enter the shower , or not) P.S.- wonderfull location , wonderfull staff , wonderfull hotel , BUT with ugly rules , ugly condition

Great Property with multiple Leisure activities for children. Multiple Dining options.

We are a family of four with children aged eight and 10. We stayed at this resort over the Christmas period and it exceeded our expectations. The staff were very attentive and helpful, everyone from reception to the serving staff and bar staff. We found the all inclusive deal was worthwhile and the food was excellent with lots of choice and different specialities every day. The on-site restaurants provided an extra layer of choice and we dined at the Oriental, Brazilian, And Jungle restaurants each of those serving in a buffet style but with specific themed food and not as busy as the main buffet diner. I would advise booking slots in those restaurants as soon as you arrive as they can book out for the whole week quite quickly. The all inclusive includes alcohol with wine and beer literally on tap. It was local Maltese wine which was pretty nice. They also had an extensive cocktail menu included, with kids mocktails. Specific labelled spirits and bottled beer were extra. The Spa facility was reasonable with treatments that were cheaper than UK. Sauna and Steam room were always available though only 6 in the sauna at a time. Gym pretty basic with 2 (squeaky) cross trainers, 2 treadmills and one recumbent cycle plus a variety of weight machines and free weights. The indoor pool was the only useable pool in winter (you can swim outdoors if you like freezing!) so could be busy but had specific adult only times- but self regulated. Pool complex will be great in summer.

Ok Hotel but not a 4 star

Ok Hotel, good local to the sea front. The hotel looks good on first impressions but as you stay you notice moor funny things. Reception welcome was nice but the information is limited and mostly incorrect. We have stayed during the covid Pandemic but oddly this week they have relaxed there rules even though the new strain is hitting hard. They advertise 6 restaurants but these are open at odd times of the week and you have to book a week in advance, so useless if here for a short break, they also book the restaurant out for party's with our telling the paying guests. The food is self service, but it is dished up for you, the drinks where the same but now you just help your self. Outdoor pool is closed, the indoor is nice but there is a very stupid towel system, you have to go to the down stairs shop, give you room number and name, pay €10 each for a card that you the take back to main reception and they exchange it for a towel, which they will swap for a clean one on request, no idea why you can't just do all this at the reception?? Rooms are OK but it's quite hit or miss to the size you get, we have 2 sea views rooms, 1 is OK the other is half the size, both don't see the sun, so you can't sunbath. You do get a kettle, fridge and safe in the rooms. All in all OK Hotel but won't return

I have never stayed in a hotel this poor in 55 years of travel. It did not in any way shape or form represent expedia's description. It was shabby, poorly maintained, no shared lounge areas so confined to soul- less bedroom space. As a vegan, there was quite literally nothing to eat other than beetroot and cucumber, both of which they tasted like they were out of a can. I will not trust the expedia descriptions again
