Unfortunately this is a beach club and the music is very VERY loud if you are trying to get to sleep. This was not clear at time of booking, it’s a shame because the hotel was fine in all other aspects

Filthy hotel with vile customer service
The place is filthy, stains, mould and dirt everywhere! The place is depressing, needs a major update and deep clean. The room is small, dirty and not sound proofed. The bed is comfortable thankfully. The pool has several dead bugs floating around, nobody is swimming in it. The beach cabanas are our escape from this dump. Breakfast was really poor, poorly cooked and barely warm! We requested hand-towels for the room which were missing and it arrived stinking of cigarettes. We are in shock how terrible this place is…it’s definitely not worthy of a 4 star or the price that we’ve paid for a 3 night stay. Avoid avoid avoid!!!
The staff is very friendly, but for activities, unless u drink, swim, ride a jet ski, or parasail, there aren't any activities! The restaurant has a small menu, and the prices a bit high. The rooms are comfortable, but no hand towels in the bathroom. The chairs outside the room and on the back patio are very uncomfortable with no cushions. The TV has no channel guide to let you know what is on each channel.
Its a place where either you may love it or hate it depending on your preference and personality. Its for the young and young at heart. Overall we loved it, if you prefer quiet and away from the music playing the pool, try to request for the forest view area. Overall i had a good experience and enjoyed my stay there.
Hotel come nightclub
Okay will keep this simple: this is a party hotel, so expect loud pumping music from midday till 1am, be under no misconception, you can hear this in your room as if it was next door, if this will cause an issue dont come!, personally i enjoyed it!, There was nobody partying while i was there, 10-12 people around at night, that doesnt stop the music though!. The good - the pool is lovely, the people in reception are great The not so good - the beach isnt well maintained, the rooms window had a broken net, so unable to seal room from bugs... The Bad - Music is same every night, they need a new dj... the better quality rooms are pointless, there isnt sufficient water to fill the baths or jacuzzi's to cover your legs, the hotel are aware of this issue, apart from the tubs the rooms are identical.... you can fill it, but you have to attend to it for over an hour to get it to a suitable depth at a warm (not hot) temp, if you are happy with a cold bath then not an issue. The restaurant, although the menu looks good - around 70% of the food on it isnt available (consistnely over 7 days we stayed here, same with breakfast!), the restaurant staff dont understand english properly, and always get the order wrong consistently, 90% of the time the food comes out cold... manager doesnt seem interested nor do the staff... id avoid the restaurant, try to charge extra for ice, dirty towels etc, location is 20 min walk to chenang, nothing around, avoid the jetski rental outside
We have a bad experience checking in, we arrived at 5pm and management apologize that the room is not yet ready and we have to wait for 30 mints, next day we ordered breakfast and we had to wait for an hour to be served and they just apologised as things were missy and not organized. Generally l, It does not worth the money. Just like any moderate resort, rooms are okay and the only good thing is the swimming pool. Not recommended and definitely wont come again.
Staff were helpful and friendly. They let me check me in early as my flight landed early. It's a party all day night long hotel. Don't expect a privacy quiet environment. But overall it's a great hotel and cool decor. Thanks!
The staff were generally friendly and good at their job. There was a lack of communication regarding the requirements for access to some areas of the facilities. These requirements should have been outlined at the point of check-in. When we were advised of the requirements it was not managed well at all

BAD THINGS: 1. Room was not fantastic quite aged and not well maintained. 2. Design wise was messy without sticking to the theme “Alice in Wonderland” with Marvel and Batman and Wonderwoman? Hmm 3. Shower was horrible, the water trap emy flooded whenever I showered. GOOD THING 1. Infinity Pool was an attraction. View was great, bar and the ambience. 2. Bed and mattress - mattress was very comfortable. 3. Get the room w a small Balcony - you can see the hills
Lovely fresh clean room, I appreciated the very efficient air conditioning. Linen & towels first class. Reception staff friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I felt bar staff and restaurant staff needed more training. Overall We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to our friends and family.
Great location with an incredible pool area. We had a great 4 night stay and would happily recommend. Pros: - Great location with plenty nearby - Direct beach access and sun loungers on the beach - Incredible pool area with cabanas and a bar - We had local meals from the restaurant onsite and they were delish - We had breakfast included, and was an al la carte menu. Plenty of options and all really tasty - Room was lovely, as per the pictures and clean and tidy. Cons: - Room service quite slow, our room generally wasn't attended to until 3pm each day. That felt unusual to us, but may be the norm here. - Airport shuttle was cheekily listed 10 RM per person but charged as 35. They've since updated their listing after I raised this discrepancy with them.
We felt that the theme 'Alice in Wonderland' did not work. There were insufficient parasols and areas of shade. The accommodation, apart from the main lobby had a worn and slightly dirty appearance. On the one occasion we had Dinner in house the food was very poor. The Breakfasts were a joke, completely disorganised, we never once got all that we ordered. On average we waited between 30 to 45 minutes to be served.

Location and facilities are great. Service, or lack there of, clearly under staffed - poor Menu and food was lacking and represented poor value given what you got. Rooms were serviced after 4pm which at a time most return to a hotel after sightseeing. 8 days there and room failed to be serviced on 2 occassions.
Only one sun umbrella available for 20 sun loungers on the beach this meant a daily wake up call of 5 am in order to secure some form of shelter from the sun. Any later all umbrellas would be taken. Pretty poor for a 4 star property that only a few sun umbrellas could be provided. Breakfast was very poor, usually cold and soggy and only a few options were eadible.
Beachfront hotel, very relaxing to just chill next to the pool. Room was ok.
Would not recommend to stay at this hotel. We came for our honeymoon and were expecting a lovely hotel for $300AUD. When we arrived our airport transfer was not there. After 3 phone calls in one hour, our transfer finally arrived. At the hotel we were told that our room was not yet clean and ready to go (3:30PM). We were offered a complimentary soft drink whilst we wait. As expected the room was filthy. There was sand all over the floor, stains on almost every furniture surface, rubbish next to the bath (which also had remnants of the previous users bath bomb) and the garden in our garden view room was a pile of sand. Not the romantic entrance to our honeymoon that we expected!! All being said the view from the pool was lovely. Unfortunately the pool was also filthy (sand and mould throughout) and all of the sun lounges next to the pool are filthy and stained. The pool also smells due to sewage running down the side of it (I would not recommend swimming at the beach). Our garden view room was close to the pool. We were told that the DJ music stopped at 8, it did not stop until 10 and after this music was continued with loud crowds until midnight. We also had a large neon sign shining directly through our window and the curtains would not shut properly. Our breakfast order was lost and we had to wait 2 hours. We left 3 nights early and will never be back. Do not stay!
Great artwork, comfortable room and very clean and new resort. Would benefit from having more shade, umbrellas or trees as there’s no hope of finding shade around the pool area if you get down there later than 10am.

Stay was good despite a bit of frustration upon check in. However I managed to change room to better view. Overall was very good and I may come back to stay here!

Good hotel, bad service
We stayed in a Jacuzzi room which was nice, the room needs a few renovations but nothing too much. Everything was good at this hotel and we enjoyed our stay except for the service and housekeeping. The service in the restaurant and at the pool bar was very poor. It could take an hour to get a drink or some food. The pool bar, you could never get service. The food was not very good either. Housekeeping forgot towels and didnt clean properly. Other than the staff this hotel has the right location and lay out and is a great hotel to stay in
Extra Awesome but a little unsatisfied on service
Amazing experience with fantastic scenery. Hotel looks nice & comfy! Room was clean, aircond was cold enough and bed is extra comfy and awesome. Just that I hope for a better service especially on check in, promised to call when the room is available. So I leave my phone number to contact but didn’t received any updates until I went to front desk to approach. And the room keeping forgot to replace the towels and toilet maps for us! The internet connection was poor at my room, hope that it’s can be fix soon. My room was 109 on that day. Best choice for langkawi hotel, definitely will come back again.
So in love with the pool
Nice beach pool, but the beach is just average. Nice room, they gave us the corner one which is huge compared to others. Will come again just for the ambience.
I would call dash the stained hotel. Everything is stained. The toilet had old stains, the sheet had stains, the floor had stains, the walls in bathroom had stains.
if you want to get a pool view, please ask the service counter you don't want room 401. otherwise you will feel wasted with your money. as the room only saw a quarter of the pool. and beware of the monkey at the morning.
Staff were very friendly and customer focused. Great music and vibe poolside from 4pm onwards with live DJ and house music. Food quality was good quality and variety with fair prices. Overall a great place to stay and relax for a few days.

Hotel took money from me and failed to reimburse. Upon arrival, I was asked to pay a deposit of 200 MYR. The member of staff on reception deducted this amount from my debit card as he mistakenly believed it was a credit card (he didn’t tell me in advance that it needed to be a credit card). When he realised the mistake, the staff member rang the hotel’s bank and told me that it was not possible to cancel the transaction, but that the money would be returned to my account within 4 weeks. It has now been 8 months and I have still not received the 200 MYR I am owed. The hotel has ignored my requests for reimbursement. This has totally ruined my experience of this hotel, which I actually enjoyed at the time. They have effectively stolen from me.

Great hotel, service improvements pending
Service staff were excellent, esp Lina in restaurant. But hotel maintenance and room service procedures need major improvement - from room not cleaned and tidied up to just room not clean and items missing or not replaced. However I am sure these will be improved with the new hotel GM who met with us to get feedback on issues. All staff were always helpful and friendly. Location is excellent - quiet and very scenic.
Although I love the resort concept and the facilities offered, the resort it not well maintained. So I don't feel that the money spent is worth the experience that I had for my 3 nights stay there. Things that my family enjoyed:- 1) The resort concept where we have the option to enjoy the swimming pool as well as the beach. The gym is rather far a bit that it felt unsafe to go alone especially at night. 2) The breakfast concept is good i.e. not wasting food where it's all you can eat but it is only cooked when requested. It can be improved by showing how the dish looks like especially the famous ones. 3) The evenings and nights are always happening with music and activities. It was nice to have McLaren cars event and some fire shows on our last night there. Things that should be improved:- 1) The cleaning schedule is bad - my room was not clean after I come back in late afternoon. I have to complain specific things after first day of cleaning as I couldn't accept the cleaning level.The hotel management needs to set higher standard for the cleaning. 2) The swimming pool is dirty every day even though the cleaning is almost every day. The hotel management needs to find way to maintain it better. 3) The room air conditioner needs servicing. Drainage system going to the sea is bad i.e. smelly. For a resort that is not even a year in business, the hotel management should look critically on the quality of both the facilities and the employees in general.
Quirky decor and beautiful location, the staff were super friendly but could be a little disorganized, nothing major though. Would recommend.

The hotel has a great position. Right on the beach with a lovely pool area, fantastic to watch the sunset from with a cocktail in hand. Perfect also for eating, there are plenty of restaurants just a short walk away to choose breakfast, lunch or dinner. However the hotel room smelt of damp and smoke despite being non smoking and it was also not clean.
The hotel location is nice but the music play at the pool are not updated. We stay 3 nights the songs are repeated. The room that we stay able to hear the music. As mentioned in hotel pool disco is from 4-8pm but we notice music extended midnight which I think there is a poolside function.
They market itself as a 4star resort, in contrary their service standards differ between ethnicity, if you’re Asian descent like myself forget about it, major discrimination felt, what a backward looking mindset. Moving on to the room, design and placement of plugs and switches are unconventionally placed as if it was constructed without much usability input, the first night the shower barely drip enough water major turn off, requested to change room and they change me to a smaller room and the smell is unbearable, smell like mould and vodka. Told the staff next day to bring us some fresheners in the room and as expected nothing was done. The best part when I checkout they got the cheek to tell me I did not pay for the tourism tax, which I clearly did on the first day and it was written in the documents they claim that was for another tax felt like a scam, this happened in early in the morning when we are rushing for our flight you can imagine the experience. In conclusion, Dash resort is not a 3 stars resort, no service standards at all, pulling a long face as if we shouldn’t be there, charging 360 ringgit per night with no breakfast what a scam, you can do better with other hotel with that money! Strongly advise Chinese to avoid this resort as they only serve caucasian! I have been around Asia and most of the 4 stars rating did fairly well except for this, Expedia should review in the rating and hear from customer that actually stayed there.
Misleading and improper operation system
I book the place at hotel.com for 2night stay at rate USD 293, n it mention come with breakfast, when I check in, the staff say not with breakfast and I assume it but until the day I check out, they give me a receipt with room with breakfast, I argue with the maanager. However the manager told me is the system show no breakfast and push the fault to Expedia( tourists agency) The manager ignore me n blame the Expedia. Please find the attachment and the booking that I make. The first photo is the email send by hotel.com my booking, 2nd photo is the system generated 3rd is the receipt I received when check out. I feel cheated and while I check out that other guests check in facing the same problem.
I have booked a 3 days stay at the resort including breakfast however when we checked-in the reception told us that our stay was not included with breakfast. The reception helped us by checking with the reservation team and I had to made a call to Expedia customer service (US) to know that it was a matter of the confirmation from Expedia sent to the resort without breakfast. It was sort out within an hour and thumbs up to that. The room was ok, I was expecting much more on the cleanliness of the room, but it was a bit of disappointment. The housekeeping should be trained to seek for details in cleaning. Few points I can raise on the cleanliness are mouldy toilet bowl and the floor was sandy when we got into the room, and I need to asked the housekeeping to clean the floor while we gone out and they did it promptly. Some staff in the restaurant also need some training too and lookout for any guest who needs some assistance either in taking orders or shifting tables. Overall the experience was good as the hotel ground and facilities were nicely decorated and great beach club too. I would recommend people to come to this resort and hope Dash Resort Langkawi can improve on the services over time.
Overall the stay was good with beautiful sea and swimming pool views.. Nice place to stay but the management really need to look into the housekeeping services and cleanliness.. the room was dusty, mugs were dirty and the bathroom was a kinda smelly. Upon complaint made, the staff did response and act fast. Somehow, cleaning of room can be improved.
The place is good for instagram pictures quest. The food taste and quality are totally need to be fixed.

It’s amazing stay! The pool, beaches all are perfect. But the standard room size is kinda too small. However, the room cleanliness is still ok. The breakfast was great but the serving time is not that fast if it’s peak breakfast time, Definitely will come back!

I like the environment there but I'm very disappointed with the front counter not informed me have 2 type for deluxe terrace room.My room also not yet ready because, on early booking already informed want extra bed but the bed still not ready.Overall for me the place not so great like people said the service very disappointed.

Amazing beach front hotel
Dash Resort is a great property with its trendy design and unique. We wash amaze by the lobby design, pool site, beach and decoration. However, the rooms we stayed seems a bit need maintenance even though this is very newly open hotel. Breakfast is complimentary and order whatever you would like to have from the menu is a plus, but most of the food is not warm or taste a bit run. We was really wondering why, maybe due to is new management and staffs need more training. Overall, we did enjoyed our 2 nights stay. And hope next time visit, the service and rooms conditions have been improved.

Wow I just loved this hotel, everything about it us amazing. The decor is fabulous and so quirky. Our room was great, loved the decoration, good shower, lovely toiletries, great having tea coffee and fridge in room and bed was sooooo comfortable. Pool area was great with nice sun beds and poolside bar. Breakfast was amazing so much choice. Staff are great, very happy and friendly, nothing is too much bother. You have to do Dash you won't be disappointed
Wonderful pool and beach view. Not private beach but does feel like it's a private beach. Lovely concept of the hotel and rooms. Clean, spacious and well designed. DJ music and atmosphere is good but does go on until 11pm and can be heard in the room. Only thing is the restaurant staff need more training and its staff structure need improvement to be more efficient and aware of customers.
Love the concept of the hotel., totally different from other hotel., keep up with the concept and hope to have more hotels like this

Better than expected
Excellent for a 4 star hotel. Amazing pool and the private beach is one of the best I have ever seen. Best hotel experience so far. Only negatives are that there is no insulation around the windows and the gaps are huge. Bugs can easily crawl in.
