A True Island Paradise – But the Incredible Staff

Our stay at Cauayan Island Resort was beyond five stars. The secluded, pristine location offered breathtaking views, making it a true island paradise. The all-inclusive dining exceeded expectations, with fresh, creative dishes and impeccable service, especially from Karl at the restaurant. What truly sets this resort apart is the incredible staff. Mac, the manager, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, even assisting with extending our visit and rearranging flights. The front desk team, Krem and Joy, were always welcoming and helpful. A special mention to Ernil and Oden from the boat crew, who made our excursion unforgettable. The spa services were exceptional, providing a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. Every aspect of our stay exceeded our high expectations. We can’t wait to return to this paradise.

Amazing stay

We had an amazing time at the Cauayan. We loved everything about it, the setting, the outstanding level of service, the nature surrounding it, the privacy. I particularly loved seeing turtles and baby sharks while snorkelling on the beach. We had two wonderful day trips to the nearby attractions and beauty spots and did some diving. Jeremiah deserves a special mention for making our trips even more enjoyable. We rarely go back to the same place, but the Cauayan might just become an exception.

Our stay at Cauayan was truly exceptional. The pre-arrival communication was smooth and efficient, and the airport transfer was seamless. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They were particularly wonderful with our two young children, creating a welcoming and fun atmosphere that made our holiday truly special. The island itself is breathtaking, and our accommodation was perfect. Cauayan surpassed our expectations in every way, and we left feeling like we'd experienced a slice of paradise.

The hotel is amazing , the staff is so friendly and accommodating , restaurant menu is great as you have local options and a variety of dishes from other countries, this is the best hotels in El Nido

It was absolute perfection! This was our first time to the Phillippines, my suggestion is don’t stay in el nido town, stay your entire time at Cauayan, the hotel was incredible but the staff makes it a 10 star hotel. We were lucky enough to meet Gio, Cristian and Alrey from the pool bar, they were all so kind and welcoming, they make killer drinks and are always making sure you have the best time. Also look for Joy at the front desk, she will help with any issues you may have. Lastly , we truly enjoyed the service of Arniel at the restaurant, what a nice polite man. This hotel has a much better coral reef than any of the el nido tours, the beach is much more enjoyable than any el nido tours , so I highly recommend this place!!!!

This is a report on a private island. Resort was very natural. Restaurant and bar service was good. Many food choices and all food was good. The pool deck needs to be refinished as wood was splintering. Very friendly staff and beautiful scenery. We enjoyed the stay at this property.

Quite and staff are all friendly

Honestly the most incredible holiday experience we have ever had! My husband and I holidayed with our 3 adult children and daughter in law! From the moment we arrived we felt as though we had been dropped into a luxury movie set! Too beautiful to be real! Gobsmacking natural beauty of coral reef and lush rainforest and the most perfect beach. The staff have clearly been hand picked to work here. Easy communication with English. Incredibly polite and accommodating with everything! The one and only restaurant was big and welcoming but also romantic for those wanting exclusion and privacy. There was a wonderful selection of fresh food and an extensive menu for all tastes. The bar was fully stocked with all spirits and beverages from all corners of the world and the cocktails were incredible. We stayed in the Bayview pool villa that was perched a steep 4 minute walk from the resort pool and restaurant. Phenomenal views. Our own private pool. We will be back most certainly

You will want to stay for more!!! Definitely one of our best stays in a resort. I can confidently say that this resort is of world class caliber. From pick up to departure, their team and staff always made sure that everything is facilitated and taken cared for. The attention to detail is impeccable that the whole experience is very personalized. Nestled in an isolated area, Cauayan resort guests can enjoy tranquility, peace and be one with nature. Complimented by the top notch service from their team and staff, there is nothing you can ask for but to wish that your stay could have been longer or that the experience will not end soon. The amenities are good and enough and I am sure could be better but the quality of service you get is what makes it standout and special. My words can not give justice to the whole experience so you must try it!!!. Shoutout to each and every member of their team for a job very well done. Special mention to Ms. Jen Taduran and Mac for making our stay extra special and for leading a team worthy of recognition.

excellent resort

perfect , well relaxed

This was resort was stunning! The staff was so lovely and helpful! The food was plentiful and with lots of variety. There were lots of options for activities and the island hopping and snorkeling was something I won’t forget! I would definitely recommend the spa also!! Can’t say enough about this resort!!

Paradise!

Like no other place we've stayed before, this place is a paradise island! Beautiful location & villas, friendly staff and the most amazing food (this coming from a vegetarian - the veggie and vegan menu is extensive and absolutely delicious). To top it off we did kayaking, snorkelling & paddle boarding off the beach of the hotel and saw a sea turtle amongst the coral! Highly recommend the spa too, watching a shark in the sea below whilst having a message is an experience I won't forget. The whole stay was perfect

The resort gives you a feel of the Philippines with its hut villas. The people are the pride of this resort. They are friendly, courteous and kind. The tour, boat and land transfers are very well coordinated. The food is great. They offer a diverse selection of food. We had their signature massage as well. And it is heavenly.

Hotel was amazing, location was absolutely stunning, the staff were very friendly, might have been the best massage we had with the view of the ocean under us. It was quite expensive but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves

Cauayan Island Resort is outstandingly beautiful and dreamingly scenic. But what made the stay even more worthwhile were the staff at the resort who were so kind, professional, and dedicated in quality service. Not to mention how satisfied my partner and I were with the food. Every dish we ordered were deliciously cooked to order and their fruit shakes were amazing! Also, the island hopping tour which we booked through the resort was well done as the guides were fantastic. What a beautiful experience this resort has made with our first visit to El Nido. Highly recommended this place!

Excellent overall

Great personnel. Personal service. Great food, ton of options. Beautiful facility. Poorly maintained infrastructure, particularly power. Had to leave 2 days early due to power outage. Would still return due to wonderful staff. They made every accommodation to assist.

Best laid back luxury and top service in El Nido

Cauayan was amazing, the best treat we’ve had this year. The Beach Villa was extremely comfortable, the service was excellent, the staff kind and attentive. The food was very tasty, we loved every minute and wish we could have stayed longer. The attention given to our anniversary and my birthday was very appreciated. Congratulations to all staff and managers for running this property so well and making us feel so welcome! Truly the art of laid back luxury and top service! We will be back! Maria & Roberto

picturesque and not crowded during our stay

Our experience at Cauayan Resort was nothing short of amazing. The location, and views were stunningly picturesque. The staff were attentive without being overbearing, and made every effort to make our experience memorable.

Private Island Resort!

Amazing and super private resort. Great service!

Property itself is beautiful and the beach is gorgeous. Staff was very attentive. We had an issue with our bathroom and they came to try to fix immediately. The included breakfast was excellent, great selection. Overall though the pricing for food and tours was fairly expensive comparative to the rest of the area. Also, we had to pay for a lot of extras. For example we needed a boat ride to get back into town and were charged an extra 4000 pesos for one way ride. Additionally, we asked if we could bring towels from hotel on an excursion we booked independently and we were told they would have to charge us to take the towel (not a deposit, but actually charge us to use the towels). Overall, we had a great time though did notice these minor things that weren't expecting which is why I would give the experience 4/5 instead of 5/5.

Highly recommend

This is hands down the nicest place I've ever stayed. Everything is clean and well-maintained, and the staff goes above and beyond. Extremely friendly and helpful, adding another level of amazing to the already incredible setting.

Great stay beautiful resort

A high-standard, luxurious resort.

Everything fantastic. The house reef is dead BUT there are daily sharks and many sea turtles, plus I even saw a baby manta ray! You can almost see them from your beach villa. Beach villa was wonderful, absolutely luxurious (outdoor and sunken indoor shower!). Definitely a luxury resort. Prices for the external boat tours to match accordingly. Food generally very good. Staff very professional and friendly. We had a wonderful time, thank you. One negative comment is I thought the massages were incredibly expensive. Certainly cheaper than the western equivalents, but, for example, double the price vs two similar island luxury resorts we also visited; these prices should be reduced. I would view the provision of massages less of a profit centre and more a service. Other than that, we were very happy. Please provide mosquito repellent for free, that would be a nice touch.

The property was excellent and we really enjoyed the quietness. The staff was amazing and the food was pretty good. Wished the menu was rotating though, but the fish was excellent and very fresh. We loved how it wasn't crowded and the resort didn't play loud annoying music. We will definitely be back!

We stayed here for our honeymoon. This resort has fantastic service, an incredible spa, excellent food, and a quiet atmosphere. The only downside is that it’s a 20-minute boat ride from El Nido town (with no boat service after sunset) so if you want nightlife this is not a good choice. The private island-hopping tour is a bit expensive but it was the highlight of our stay (along with the spa.)

Staff are all professional and courteous. Expect that the food are a bit expensive as you are staying in a 5 star resort but the food are delicious and worth every penny. We understand that the wifi problem is still being fixed but considering its a 5 star resort seems like its a lame excuse but then again everything else compensates for this issue

Amazing place to relax and unwind. We got the water villa and it was just perfect. Sleeping with the sound of the waves right under us was the most relaxing nice night of sleep I had in a while. The service was incredibly great and genuinely nice. The food was great, from breakfast to dinner. We will see you next year for sure!

Overall a pleasant stay on a nice secluded island. The signature boat tour was a lot of fun.

The best resort in Palawan

Amazing resort.

Excellent accommodations. The staff was always friendly and willing to serve. The resort is so relaxing that I wouldn’t hesitates to return for any vacation.

Wonderful experience!

Overall its a wonderful experience! But because of the location, the signal is sooo weak that I cant even post anything on Intergram or facebook to share this beautiful place with my family or friends.

The resort is amazing. The location is a gem. The staff are all amazing and the food is excellent. If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy El Nido away from the tourists. This is the place for you.

Paradise

The pics don’t do this place justice, it is truly amazing. We stayed in a water villa which was beautiful. Staff are super attentive, food is brilliant, as are facilities. Internet isn’t brilliant however we appreciated having a social media detox for a few days. We would absolutely recommend this resort to anything thinking of visiting.

Views are amazing. Service is impeccable. Food was delicious and much better than other resorts on the main land. All in all, would definitely recommend and would not hesitate to re-book should I ever find myself back in El Nido.

Amazing

The pictures don't make justice to the actual place... If you've liked the photos, don't think twice, go ahead an book it! This place is amazing! I can't think of enough compliments: the food is great (much better than what we've expected, and we're foodies), the beach is everything you'd wish for (remember to bring beach shoes) and the spa alone would be worth a visit.

Water villa was beautiful. Staff was great and attentive. Internet was poor but they said they are upgrading. It's a beautiful place and beautiful beach. Sunset cruise was amazing. Will stay again here

This was AMAZING! It was a dream to stay here. We only stayed 2 days and I wish we could have stayed longer. The staff was great the food was great the views were great. Overall, I could not have asked for a better experience. I still look back and feel as if our stay was surreal it was truly magical. A definite return in the near future. Thank you Cauayan Resort for making our trip a dream. It will be hard to top.

EL NIdo

May be the most beautiful place in earth! Incredible experience!

Eco-friendly Hotel. Power shut down for one hour everyday. Uses salt water for shower and tap. Staff were friendly. The food was great. Special ordered the Halo-halo dessert but they served before the guests arrived. It was all melted so a little disappointed with that. The private pool at the Ocean View Villa was as well disappointing because it was too small. It’s worth doing the 20min trekking, the view was really nice. Wish there could be more facilities or restaurants on the island.

This place is simply fantastic, it exceeded all my expectations. First, each and everyone from the staff is very kind, polite and helpful and really doing everything he can to make you stay comfotable as heaven. Second, the restaurant is extraordinary - the best food I've ever eaten in the Philippines (and I live here for quite a long time), every meal I ordered was simply perfect with well balanced taste. They have also excellent offer of drinks and very nice and interesting wine carte. Not to forget, our villa on the beach was very comfy, large enough for three, with stunning views of the whole bay. I can also recommend the boat trips with great crew as well as the spa. In general, i did not want to leave and and definitely will come back. For sure this is not a cheap place, but i don't regret a single peso. For me and my parents it was the best vacation ever.

The service the place it is really magical! This resort has a high sense or service and is ideal to take a rest! They do their best to accommodate whatever you desire The food is also remarkably good!

Stunning Resort and Super Friendly staff. We thought it was paradise. If you can live without strong wifi for a while and the odd unimportant desire which may be out of stock given its an island, you will love this place.
