Nice stay

The he hotel was nice, the rooms were nice. Everything was clean. The owner was friendly. Especially since we didn’t arrive till 3 in the morning.

I checked out and made a new booking for today. Which was supposed to be $20 cheaper than my stay yesterday. But the owner or manager or whatever he is still charged me twenty bucks more, even though I made a new booking at a cheaper rate.

I could easily walk to local restaurants and gas stations. However, I could not drive in the driveway because of snow conditions. But the room was very clean, and the owner was very kind.

Nice stay

Room was very comfortable and spacious. The chair was a great addition. Helped me sleep!!

It looks like the owners are trying to update the property. It was clean and staff was friendly. I would stay here again.

Room was right by the highway, ice machine is broke, door was difficult to unlock and the deadbolt doesn’t work. Very outdated and musty smelling. Felt very uncomfortable here

When we checked in, the clerk was insistent that we were charged the wrong price. I didn’t argue because it was only $5 but he was a bit rude. He was nice because I picked a smoking room by accident when booking and was able to give me a non-smoking. You get what you pay for and this was a quick 1-nighter. Pillows are horrible so don’t expect a great night sleep.

The property is old but well taken care of and clean. If you use Expedia, it confuses them but plan on paying at the motel because they insist that Expedia doesn’t charge, they only secure funds (in our case both) we got it straightened out and all & all was worth the trouble.1/2 price, clean, quiet room was worth it 💤

'Desk' gut was very curious. Our reservation thru Expedia didn't show up at this location but we were given the same discount as the Expedia site. Nice little hotel. A little dated but the room was clean and everything works.

Older hotel expected nothing fancy but did not expect to spend the first few hours evicting ladybugs from our room. Eventually we got them all out by using cups from the room but there were at least 40. The check in people were very nice though

Does the job for a quick sleep and go

Works perfect for a late night stop for sleep before back on the road first thing in the morning. No frills, not much updates or inspiration. Does the job, though and hassle free. Reception let me check in late (12:30am) and had no issues. I was gone by 6:30am. Would stay again if I needed to.

The room was all we needed it to be- beds were ok, but tidy. Bathroom toilet gurgled all night. Front desk staff was very friendly and even let us borrow a heater to get the room warmed up faster. That was very kind.

No coffee available in the rooms particularly when they don't serve breakfast until 7:30am which is kind of late for folks leaving earlier. The rooms could definitely use an update particular the bathroom which I found was unpleasant. They do not leave the outside lights on which made me feel uncomfortable and difficult getting to my car.

the property is very old and very bare bones basic, but they keep it clean . it's cheap and it's a warm bed but that's about it. the owners are very nice

Much better than expected for the price. Very basic but everything works and is clean. Outside areas are VERY well lit and feels safe. Will definitely stay here again.

actually only two bigger concerns... whenever I use you folks to book a room, upon arrival, they have no record of my making reservation. However we did get the advertised rate. The second is a bigger concern. There was no way to secure the room. The door lock would not work, nor the dead latch.

Total cluster !

Hotels.com failed to get the reservation info to the property timely. In trying to accommodate us the clerk took my husband’s word that the rate was 60.00 (Which is what it said) however w/ other fees the total was 81.00 . The owner came knocking on our door first thing in AM/ woke me up . As we were packing you he yelled up at me … then he came up to the room AGAIN ! I told him I was aware of the error and would happily pay it but my husband had just fallen and broke his foot and he needed to quit stalking me !

Close to the wedding. You can hear a lot of road noise

The room was out dated, the bolt lock did not work,. for being outdated it was clean

If you want affordable place to stay for one night this place are ok Walking distance in with fastfood and gas station. Don't expect too much.

It was good

hotel was old, ok but renovations are needed and the ones that were done were sloppy. only 1 usable outlet in room and nowhere did it say it was connected to light switch by door, flip on switch upon entering, plugged in cell phone, turned off light. got up in am to find not charged. not happy

Stingy owners

We chose the room bc it listed that the room had a fridge. However it was not turned on when we got there. There were 35 available rooms and all of the fridges were turned off to save money. We had food and medication that required refrigeration. Very inconvenient and frustrating.

This place is in a good location. Close to food and fuel. Nothing fancy about the place. This hotel is also used as a location for state assistance housing and weekly rentals for permanent residence. If this would have been in previous reviews I would have never booked this location.

The Budget Host Inn is of a design I prefer. I can carry my luggage directly into my room rather than lugging them through a lobby, then onto an elevator, reverse the process the next morning. My room was clean and comfortable. Everything worked as it should. I had a good night's sleep.

Property was old but served its purpose. Staff was very friendly.

Rather comfortable room, although very basic. Great value if you just need a place to sleep for the night.

They could fix up the place a bit and get the pool fixed. Would atrack more people.

We had a very nice and comfortable stay.

Basic no frills

Room was very basic, no amenities. There was no remote control in the room. It took about an hour dealing with management to get a working one.

I liked the price for what was offered - good size fridge, microwave, floor space, continental breakfast. It was clean and the managers handled everything quickly and competently. Two negative comments: (1) styrofoam cups for coffee (not eco-friendly). (2) It would be good for them to let people know that the electric outlet near the door works only when the light near the door is turned on; I plugged my laptop into that outlet, and the battery died during the night. Those are both easily corrected, and my overall rating is highly favorable. I will plan to stay there again.

It's quite and well managed hotel. Parking is easy and feel safe.

At first I signed up for one day. But I needed 2 days. It was not a problem, I was able to get 2 days.

reasonably priced, clean and right next to an Electrify America charging station. Perfect for a mid-roadtrip stay.

Great wifi

Cheap, convenient and comfortable place to stay. Not most updated or best service, but was a good for a quick stop.

The room was adequate but very dated. Not enough hot water came out of the tub faucet to even engage the shower.

I needed somewhere efficient to stay. Hate paying and arm and a leg for a few hours of sleep. Quiet and clean worked for what i was looking for. Id definitely book again

Place to sleep

It was a place to sleep. Overall was clean but could use a deep clean. Wifi was not good.

We have stayed here before. The rooms are clean,plain,but everything we need. Bed was comfortable. Morning breakfast was appreciated. Our host and his wife were very kind and accommodating. Only glitch was in our room, 127, the sink wouldn't drain. The stopper was stuck closed.otherwise,the room was in good repair. The bathroom in our other room, 124, needed some upgrade

Review

Water pressure was horrible, no receptacles free to charge my phone except in the bathroom and that receptacle was on the light switch so it turned off when you turned the lights off. The place has had improvements since I last stayed here about 2 years ago and they are ongoing as I spoke to a worked before leaving.

The price was good for the area, if the fridge and the air conditioner had worked, but they didn’t.

Clean and Comfortable

Very nice hotel and a very good value. Manager was very helpful with TV and refrigarator. very clean and neat just an older hotel with older furnishings. Would stay there again.

The motel was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room was not the one I booked, that would have cost me more money.

These people are not nice. They do not make the rooms , the towels were tearing, sheets were stained the Bathroom door did not close and was falling apart. checked in for 3 nights lost Electricity on the third day early afternoon spoke with the owner explained to him i have a breathing disorder and sleep with a CPAP machine and without it i stop breathing....his reply was "IT'S NOT MY FAULT" about the electricity! He said wait a few hours to see if it comes back....this happened about 4:30 PM, i had a 6 hour drive back home to New Jersey, and am a Senior and can not drive in the late hours....could not take the chance. I asked nicely to credit me for the last day and he said "NOT MY PROBLEM"...customer service and compassion was lacking! I will NEVER go back. I never want to take business away from anyone.....read between the lines and draw your own conclusion!!!!

Older property, but clean and maintained

We needed a room for the night for our family of 6 on the way back home after vacationing. This hotel offered a triple room with 3 double beds that we could all fit in. The rate was very reasonable This is a no-frills place that was probably built in the '50s, but the beds were comfortable with clean, matching linens and pillows in good condition. The room was in good repair even though some of the fixtures appeared to be original. The innkeepers were friendly and obviously take pride in keeping their property maintained. Classic mid-century motor lodge experience.

The room was old and run down. The refrigerator was on the floor with the microwave on top of it and the phone beside it. There was no closet or even a rack or bar on which to hang my clothes. Thankfully I was only there for one night.

Great clean place.

At first not good as I requested kung non smoking but at hotel it was more that I paid. Kind sir made it right. Slept wonderfully and it is so very clean and comfortable

After checking we were moved to a room with double beds (we reserved a king bed) that smelled terrible of smoke. The air conditioner barely worked and the pool was closed/empty.

Only selected hotel because of pool. Pool is not open and it an eye sore.

DO NOT GO HERE

We were in town for the American legion baseball regional tournament. I rented this room for 4 people at $55 for one night. The boys won and needed to stay longer. I went into the lobby and paid for 2 more nights at $55 a night and told the manager I myself and my youngest child were leaving and the 2 older boys would be staying. They had two other team mates stay and that should be fine since it is paid for 4 people for three nights. When my son checked out the manager charged him $20 additional for the "extra guests" again the room was rented for 4 people and when I told him only 2 people were staying he didn't lower the price so 4 should be allowed to stay. He took advantage of my son's because they were young. The boys were respectful and quite. I would not recommend this hotel for your stay pay the extra money to stay somewhere else. The rooms were nasty and smelled stale. The only reason I went to this hotel was the price was low.
