It was our second stay and we absolute live it!!!

Second time staying here. Still feeling special about the Tulli style units. Staff is still excellent but need smart TV.

Beautiful accomodations.

The hotel is truly amazing. Staff is excellent as are the rooms and amenities. It is in the middle of no where, which was great for us. You need a car if you stay here. The rooms are well appointed. Rooms and suites are a short walk from the reception and some rooms have steps inside to get to the bathroom, so be sure to check with the reception before you book.

Amazing, though no little extras

Staying in a trillo was a highlight of the trip, this place is so well thought out, clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and there was a very helpful and friendly receptionist who was lovely. The rooms are amazing. The whole place feels like a fairytale. It’s best to think of this as a chill day or two for by the pool and it helped us unwind after matera and travelling. My only disappointment - it was a 30th birthday week for my partner and I had emailed ahead, and mentioned on check in. There was no extras like a note or fizz or at dinner and this was a shame - mainly because we were spoilt in matera with a bottle of fizz and a glass sent by the hotel at dinner. There are also no standard things like free jugs or bottles of water in the room (you can buy only) and again no welcome gift / fruit or token small bottle as you would expect and generally find from this price range, This probably needs looking at and would make the stay even better.

Fairytale living in the land of the trulli

Gorgeous hotel - luscious grounds, great swimming pool, beautifully renovated trulli. We had 3 trulli to ourselves (living room, bedroom, bathroom), with private seating outside. Breakfast was good, and staff was lovely (golf cart rides to/from parking) I just wish they were a little more accommodating when it came to staying at the pool after check-out (had to leave by 3pm or pay extra). I guess we'll just have to stay more nights next time. ;)

Wonderful place and staff, perfect in all regards. Just don't go to U Curdunn restaurant which they may suggest — the service was very touristy and impersonal, not pleasant at all.

Beautiful property. Very unique. Great Reception staff. Rooms need better AC during the summer. Wait staff in Bar and Restaurant need better training.

Fairy tale experience!

Absolutely magical stay! Recommend 100% without any hesitation. The room was beyond all expectations. Beautiful pool, grounds, bar and dining. Very private resort. Incredibly helpful staff with great suggestions in the area. If you want to go to the beach be sure to reserve a Le Palme Beach Club for a luxurious day.

Most amazing hotel.

Amazing property. The restaurant is superb. The service is excellent. I highly recommend it for a relaxing holiday or a honeymoon.

This is one of the most beautiful and special places I have ever stayed!! Simply perfect!

It’s a gorgeous hotel, out of way in a country side. Make sure you have a car and a small one. We drove from Lecce to Ostuni area and it was bit challenging 1st time with narrow roads during the heavy rain. Food at a restaurant is amazing . Great chef and very good dishes. Very unique place to stay. So glad we found this place and will go back for sure.

perfect resort!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights, this place is a gem! It exceeded my expectations, it is luxury without the crazy price. We loved staying in our little trulli, and I was thrilled to see the beautiful pool. The breakfast was also amazing! I would mentioned if you decide to eat at the restaurant for dinner, it is a little pricey.

Fantastic stay, would recommend.

Amazing

Borgo Canonica is the best! Such a peaceful and luxurious gem in Puglia. We stayed for one night, but wished we had more time to stay here. The only downside was, was that the swimming pool was super cold, but guess it's a lot better during summer time. We enjoyed a short swim anyways. The room was very comfortable and breakfast great. WiFi worked perfectly and parking our car was easy.

The front desk staff were particularly unpleasant and rude. The hotel is understaffed compared to all the other hotels we stayed at in puglia. For ex. They close their kitchen between 1-7:30pm so no food is available to hotel guests at all. Everywhere else would at least keep a light menu available for this extended time. pool chairs are average. No service at the pool - you can walk to the bar and order something but no one comes around, as would be expected for a hotel of this calibre. Overall, the service was average and significantly below similar properties we stayed at in puglia.

What a fantastic place..beautifully restored trulli's set in the Italian countryside. The hotel is so clean and fresh, and our room was awesome. The rooms are all individual trulli's that have rustic but very upgraded interiors with every amenity possible. One of the largest 2 person shower I have seen in Italy. The staff was very accommodating and professional. Great breakfast and being located a bit away from a town, we ate at the hotel both nights..fantastic food!

The place is really pretty and clean. It is a bit our of no where but REALLY worth the drive. Place is quiet and ideal for family.

If you're looking around for a place to stay, stop, stay here. This is by far one of the best places it ever stayed. The property and rooms are so nice and unique. The service was beyond professional and warming, the pool was lovely. Definitely stay here !

Truli lovely

Superb property in a former village of trulli (the old local habitat for farmers). We got upgraded to a beautiful suite made of 3 trulli and tastefully modernized. Staff was very helpful and breakfast by the pool stunning.

Lovely stay at excellent property

Beautiful property in a great location to explore the surrounding towns. The food in the restaurant was excellent and worth the 38/45 euro price tag for the 4 course tasting menu.

A small slice of paradise

Tranquil, beautiful and very enjoyable. A lovely place to unwind after a day exploring the neighboring towns. Service is impeccable as are the amenities and grounds. Best breakfast spread for miles. Highly recommended.

the perfect trulli hotel in an idyllic setting

We couldn’t recommend Borgo Canonica more highly. he staff were incredible, the pool and Trulli layout was picturesque and very spacious, the breakfast was delicious and we also dined in the restaurant at dinner and would highly recommend 4 course menu they offer. All in all, a perfect stay. We just wished it could have been longer!

A charming hotel that consists of a number of renovated Trulli huts. The hotel and the grounds were immaculate and I would definitely stay here again. The only problems we had was with the wifi, which had a very weak signal and intermittent connectivity, and the air conditioning, which seemed to be quite weak and the would stop working at night.

Beautiful property set in a lovely fairly remote area of vineyards. All staff genuinely helpful, happy and attentive from check in to check out. Room was excellent in converted trulli with lovely bathroom and beds. Nice and cool for relief from the hot weather. Lovely pool, very clean and quiet. Ample space and sun loungers. Breakfast and restaurant really good. Car is essential and the local roads are tricky but well worth the effort to visit the local old towns and coast. We will return in the future

Blissful get-away

Beautiful, peaceful, quiet get-away. Rooms, pool and grounds are lovely. Restaurant was very good, although a bit overwhelmed by the unexpected number of diners. This is the kind of place to simply relax and enjoy. The only small negative is the narrow, unpaved, pot-holed road to get there.

Beautiful grounds with lovely rooms

Lovely hotel grounds with beautiful gardens, pool area and restaurant space. Rooms are private, clean, spacious with a comfortable bed, nice bathroom and toiletries. The trullis are super cute and the area is lovely to walk around in at night all lit up by fairy lights. Staff are lovely and very helpful, a bit short-staffed around the pool area so it takes a while to get towels and drinks.

Our stay was absolutely amazing. The staff and the place is great. High attention to details and the rooms are extremely well designed. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive and made our stay memorable. The Borgo is located in a beautiful space and extremelt convevinet to visit Alberobello, Cisternino and Locorotondo and Salento. We have enjoyed two meal at the restaurant and they were delicious. I would highly reccomend Borgo Canonica

A beautiful property with a few issues which I am sure can be solved with the correct management structure.

Absolutely beautiful. Exceptional renovation and an aesthetic delight. The newly opened restaurant prepared excellent food, carefully presented and served. The pool area is tranquil and the surrounding gardens are in their infancy but nestled in the original olive trees. It is an oasis.

L'hôtel est joli, il manque de charme. Le personnel au petit déjeuner est très désagréable. Il fait 30 degrés, il y a une grande terrasse, le petit déjeuner ne peut pas être servi sur cette terrasse, cela fait trop de travail.
