That was the forgettable hotel. That I lived in spain
360 upstairs Bar was gr8- excellent location for all activities-Breakfast ok if you love cakes and pastries. Overall impressed!
The hotel itself was lovely. Nicely decorated and large rooms. Staff were attentive and helpful. There are some other reviews that allude to the area around the hotel being dangerous, but we didn’t experience this; and it seemed to be well policed. I gave 3 stars for the area simply because it seems more neglected than other nearby areas, but I would stay here again.
Very cozy room , clean
Didn't get checked in for over an hour past check in time. Area outside the hotel is due for some cleaning.
.
❤️
It's located in a very central and conveniant area of Barcelona where a grear many areas of interest are accessible to on foot. The hotel itself is modern and excellently run to the highest professional standards.
Great stay for a quick trip. We were able to walk or get a quick taxi to all of the places in the city that we were wanting to see. Staff was very friendly and we enjoyed our stay.
My stay was great, excellent location, friendly staff. I had an issue with the air conditioning on the first night and it was fixed promptly on day two. Great rooftop bar with full 360 views of the city.
The hotel was great!
Great hotel in a great location.
Rooftop bar amazing
Awesome location, great staff
Hotel is great! This is not exactly on La Rambla a little away from the Main Street and the area sound the hotel was not great.
Very nice hotel and friendly staff. Breakfast buffet truly amazing. Not much to see in the surrounding area. Had to walk 5-10 minutes to get to the Barri Gothic. One weird thing: the room came with everything, except Kleenex.
Very nice place!, receptionist people are very ni e and helpful ♥️
The best stay in Europe
Excellent location great welcome to the hotel. Fabulous food and service. Looking forward to staying at another Barceló hotel in the future.
This property has a rooftop that has a 360 degree view of Barcelona. It is walkable to La Rambla, Port of Barcelona, and a lot of tourist places. Breakfast buffet is a little pricey at €18.
Clean ,nice unordinary rooms that function well ,friendly staff and pleasant!
sheets were never changed
First off, I want to be clear that the hotel and the staff were very good. We had one of the junior suites (room 1020 on the 10th floor) and the room was brilliant... apart from the fact that one of the windows was not sealed properly, and this meant that the street noise kept us awake. If it had been sealed then I doubt if there would have been any noise. Also, on the first night, I discovered someone asleep in the corridor near my bedroom door. It seems they had somehow got past the first locked door and their mobile phone alerts also work me up. I needed to tell them to go away. Not great. On the plus side, the breakfast buffet was really good. The rooftop bar was fantastic. Other reviews have mentioned the area around the hotel. There are a lot of people hanging around, but we didn't have anyone approach us, or try anything (aware of the pickpocket threat). As above, if the window seals were good, then it wouldn't have bothered us at all. There are some great restaurants and bars in the local area. Also good if anyone needs to be gluten free. In summary, this was really close to a fantastic stay, but the window issue and the person sleeping did take the edge off it. A shame.
Very nice hotel gr8 service. The neighborhood is not so inviting but its 5 min walk from the gothic quarter. I do reccomend it.
No había ventilación en la habitación. Almohadas muy malas.
Excellent hotel but the naborhood is really bad. My wallet was stolen, and my friend’s suitcase was stolen
Excellent staff and facilities, great location with some shifty characters, but nothing out of the ordinary for a big city. Stayed twice in one trip and will recommend
The hotel and property are great! My room was gorgeous, clean, and comfortable The workout/sauna was perfect! The rooftop bar and 360 patio is wonderful and boasts a beautiful view. The pool, or sitting pool they refer to is underwhelming, and personally, I would not use it. The pool is located on the rooftop patio and right in the midst of the bar sitting area. It is small and would feel awkward to use and is better described as a lobby fountain/water display. The breakfast is a must! It was delicious with great selection of food and drinks for a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend adding the breakfast to your daily stay. I ate in the restaurant once, and I would not eat again. I ordered the salmon, and it was very salty, on a bed of stir fried vegetables that were unpleasant.
This property is located in a ghetto. Taxi drivers don't like going here one of our drivers got robbed there. Full of drug dealers and users. The hotel has a 360 rooftop bar that is open to the public that uses the same elevators that has access to the rooms. Someone tried to get into our room one night. There is zero security. Expedia should not have any association with this property. The property had a main door at the entrance covered with a tarp. It looked like a hotel in a war zone. The staff is rude and could care less about the guest they all have main character vibes. HORRIBLE!!!
This hotel was a huge disappointment. I booked because the reviews were good but did not match my experience. If you believe a place is clean based on the how much chemical cleaners are used to clean a room then Book here! You will probably love the feeling of “Fabuloso” burning your eyes and nostrils and choking on cleaning fumes while being unable to open a window for fresh air. If your senses haven’t been jarred enough then the red and black and hot pink Vegas-like decor can help to rattle the nerves. If you don’t need privacy from your travel companions then you won’t mind the glass doors and walls that separate the shower and toilet facilities. If you love a sleepless night then stay on the 3rd floor and you can enjoy lots of yelling and noise from the homeless people on the street all night long! To their credit the beds are comfy so ear plugs could be a solution. if you love wasting your money on mediocre experiences than this overpriced hotel is for you! The neighborhood is “real” and some might call it “sketchy”. During the day we weren’t bothered by it at all and the distance to LaRambla was walkable. At night we cabbed and there was usually taxis waiting right outside. Room windows are covered in metal mesh so to appreciate great views of Barcelona go the rooftop bar.we stayed here twice…the first time because of what I believed were good enough reviews, and fair prices. The second time because it was nonrefundable. My bad.
Fantastic Location and comfortable Stay
We stayed at this hotel for two nights and had an overall wonderful experience. The location is fantastic, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The rooms are cozy and perfect for two people. We requested two separate rooms close to each other, and the staff accommodated us perfectly, which we greatly appreciated. One thing to note is the design of the shower—it’s not isolated from the room itself. This was a bit awkward for us as parents traveling with a child, but it might not be an issue for others depending on their group dynamics. The highlight of our stay was definitely the rooftop. The view was stunning, and it was a lovely space to relax and unwind. All in all, we had a great experience and would recommend this hotel, especially for couples or solo travelers who prioritize location and ambiance.
Hotel is in good condition, rooms are pretty clean, beds are comfy, shower is tricky as need to hold the head in hand, or use rain head installed, but that one is on low presure and hard to wash long hair. Hotel is generous with prividing tooth brush, shaving kit etc. but we couldnt find a bath mat, hence the slippers provided was usefull. Roof top had an amazing views, and the restaurant downstairs had wide menu. Hitel is very good value for money, but the arra is unsafe as groups of men gathering around and I wouldnt choose to walk in the dark there. Metro is about 7-10 min away, but in the evening its stressfull as crowded with these gatherings.
Excellent staff, original design, great location for access major areas of the cit, excellent breakfast.
Definitely coming back
Room was great. Loved the rooftop sunset bar. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.
Staff was nice, spoke English, and the breakfast was good.
Skybar amazing
The view from the rooftop bar is stunning!
Enjoyable stay.
Nice facilities with a very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was excellent. The rooftop views are as good as advertised. The Gothic District is easily explored from the hotel. Plenty of good, reasonably priced restaurants nearby.
Lovely boutique style hotel, but not very family friendly. The shower was open to the rest of the room so difficult to have privacy, would not recommend to anyone staying with kids or friends. The advertised pool was also tiny, more of a hot tub sat right next to the bar.
The hotel is new, clean, and trendy. The staff are very friendly and professional. The breakfast is very good. But Criminal area. People from the street can walk into the hotel and onto the terrace. None of this looks safe.
Had to pay extra to get higher floor due to road noise
The hotel was lovely if not a little out of place. It’s in a phase of regeneration and clearly the hotel stands out against the poverty of the area. The views from the roof where the best feature although the standards set by the staff and service quality where excellent all round
Excellent
We were chosen for a special gift room up grade complimentary bar drink and free breakfast, stayed here before great location close to the Ramblas and Marina will always use when back in Barcelona
Rooftop bar and pool area is best view in Barcelona, upgrade to Junior suite totally worth it.
Beautiful property located steps away from great food and sights! Would stay again!
Very friendly people. Helpful in arranging transportation to airport. Beds were very comfortable. The 360 rooftop bar was awesome. Very modern. I left my tablet and they were helpful in sending it back to me.
This was a beautiful property,I loved staying there, everything made me feel so well pampered, and the bar in the 11th floor has a sweeping 360 ° view ,it was stunning, the staff were so friendly, and nice, the only thing I had to wait for my room to be ready, the check in is at 2:00 p.m , but my room wasn't ready,I was super tired,I hadn't slept anything the day before,, I was getting a little bit impatient, since it was 2:30 p.m so the manager of the hotel offered me a different room , which was ok for me , and a free drink in the bar , Other than that, everything was pretty good, and I had a great experience!
The roof top bar is amazing!
Great experience
Had no problems. Close to walk everywhere
The rooftop bar was amazing and the staff were so friendly !!
The hotel was amazing , love the decor, super modern, the roof top deck has an amazing view of the city. The only thing we didn’t like was the area were is located, we didn’t feel secure to be walking out at night around the hotel.
This hotel is located in a bad area not safe
The hotel and service is great. The location is horrendous as soon as you walk out the hotel you will see homeless, people asking for money. The neighborhood is ghetto it seems that the hotel is in the middle of a bad neighborhood. We saw a street fight and two get arrested. Our stay was 3 nights. Top roof bar 360 view overrated. I will not recommend this hotel.
We liked the hotel, the room was great and the rooftop bar was an added bonus. Unfortunately, tv was not as advertised. Channels all wrong and casting from phone didn’t work. Auto opening curtains didn’t work either. When some of these were queried at reception the person on duty took no responsibility, offered no solutions and not helpful.
The help desk at checking were lovely and helpful!
Very nice stay
Very nice stay
A great stay in a good location, we was able to walk to everything easily , staff where very approachable and friendly. Our room had amazing views and breakfast was great every day.
Beautiful hotel, excellent service, free upgrades
Great view, hotel and Bar. Very close to la rambla
Goo
Nice hotel in an unsafe neighborhood at night
Easy access to the main strip the Rambla
Excellent staff. Always attentive and helpful.
This hotel and it's staff are phenomenol. Although the area of town is considered "unsafe" and we were warned a couple of time by taxi drivers that "it is not a safe part of town, be careful!" we never once had an issue in this area of Barcelona. Beatiful hotel and we loved the surrounding area with the plentiful restraunts, especially a "cervecería" almost directly accross the street. This hotel has a roof-top bar that we went to every night. Again, phenomenal service and beautiful hotel. Do not put off by the "seedy" area reviews.
We had a nice stay at this hotel. It is so close to the Rumbla the market and transportation. We did not fell unsafe here. I saw reviews saying the area was not desirable, but we thought it was perfectly safe. It was clean and I did not feel unsafe walking around at night. Loved the roof top bar. Was pricey but it was expected.
Room was extra small even with a king bed. Complimentary welcome drink. They should alert guests that the property is on the plaza and on some weeknights/weekends there are late-night bands playing and hundreds of GenZ’s parting until 3 am. If you're a light sleeper don't.
Hotel was in the Moroccan getto it did not look like a safe place to be
Funky hotel, drink on arrival was nice and hotel very clean. Rooms spacious and overlooking city, we were on the 9th floor. Staff really helpful and breakfast fairly good although could do with changing a bit more each day as exactly the same. Need to be careful in the area outside as quite run down in parts.
This hotel is lovely; very stylish, comfortable and very clean. The staff were always welcoming and friendly. Nice 360 views from the 11th floor bar. Great breakfast Walkable to La Ramblas. Some really nice tapas options around the hotel. Only downside; the streets around smell of pee and late night you’d not want to walk around on your own. Don’t let that put you off, Barcelona has gone down hill since I last came here, but the hotel is lush.
The people working at the reception were friendly and had good customer service but two of bartenders working on the rooftop bar were rude in their answer to simple questions.
nice hotel, wish the area was nicer
Area and pool update
Great experience
Barcelona 9/24
Put in a disabled room on first floor. Curtains pulled and unable to open, right on main road on level 1 so hence this need. Be prepared for this if booking, if sight issues then not having light in from windows is an issue as my wife found. Also moving around the room would be difficult in a wheelchair, bathroom was well thought though. Staff friendly and helpful, location is a bit rough but 5 mins from Las Ram. so no issues getting about Barcelona from there. Decor is a bit wacky in reception.
I like how it was centrally located and accessible to a lot of places. I didn’t like there wasn’t an actual pool and the 360 view wasn’t as I expected
Centrally located, facilities were great.
The premises are very smart and ultra-modern. The view of the entire city 360 from the roof-top bar is excellent. The breakfast is very good. However, the area which the hotel is in is run down. Otherwise great place to stay.
This was our third stay at this modern hotel since 2017. It has withstood the wear and tear and looks as good as it did on our first visit. The breakfast buffet is the best we have had relative to other Barcelona hotels of the same calibre. Attentive and courteous service, bag check, access to taxi’s, etc. We will continue to book the Barceló Raval in the future.
Very bad area in wish the hotel is situated.
The staff that checked us in were wonderful. My wife broke her shoulder on a cruise 2 days earlier, and the ladies working the front counter at check-in upgraded our room so my wife would be more comfortable. It was a very nice room.
Friendly staff, safe. Nice view from rooftop. I booked this hotel for pool, but unfortunately No pool.
Top floor was very hot and AC could not keep up. Rooms are really small, but rooftop bar offers 360 view of the city.
Not in a good neighborhood
Excelente servicio de su personal lo inico que no me gusto es la ubicacion esta en una zona peligrosa de la cuidad y debes poner mucho cuidado al caminar x sus alrededores me toco presenciar varios robos y peleas lo cual genera inseguridad y miedo
Nice, clean and new. Accommodating staff.
The people at who work there are incredibly nice. The linens and bedding is very comfortable.
bellow average
Great stay
2-night stay prior to joining a cruise. The hotel is handy for many Barcelona tourist destinations and we really enjoyed our stay.
The air con wa great. Room wa fine. Area XO was very sketchy between here and Rambla at night. Junkies. Dealers. Homeless. The check in was ok. A bit snotty. Or floor had 20 18-25 year old Brit’s and Austrians that partied too 6 am. Very loud. Running door to door. Knocking hard. Slamming doors. Music. Hotel did nothing about it. So sleep was poor. So summarize. Check in a bit snooty. Walked to Rambla at 11 pm. Sketchy. Fights. Police incidents. Sketch. Room and air con great. Noise in halls obviously not an every day thing. I’d consider staying again
Bad area around hotel I would not suggest anyone to go there with family
Location is great , 2 minutes to la rambla , hotel itself is great , breakfast was excellent and very easy and calm , Room was great , rooftop terrace is excellent with superb views of Barca , Shame you can’t open door in room to outside but it’s all health and safety nowadays , Just had some noise fromthe square outside a couple of nights Gym was a bonus and good , Some streets around the area not great , but maybe the 30 degree didn’t help
The hotel was an excellent accommodation.
nice hotel
Did not like the area
Not clean the room for two days and the area was not nice
Muy buenas las habitaciones.
The hotel was great ! But the location was Horrible!! Very volger ! Feel sorry for this hotel to be in this area!!
Great hotel not in the best area.
The hotel may well have been in the roughest part of Barcelona but we found the people to be friendly and sincere, and enjoyed both the roof top bar in our hotel and the bars just outside the hotel, as long as you don’t flaunt what you have you will enjoy the locals and the lower costs of drinks etc.

A nice find!
I loved the interior ‘quirkiness’ of this hotel - great to see something a bit different. Comfort and cleanliness of room were excellent and breakfast proved a good addition.
