Arrived late at night -left early - but was reasonably impressed.

Nice clean and modern close to central Roma

Great stay, loved the sauna and spa

A convenient location within easy reach of the centre of town. Clean, neat and tidy.

We stayed at Athena Studio units for two nights. Parking was right at the door, the room was a good size, bed was comfortable and the staff were great. We have stayed here before and would highly recommend this accommodation if you are in Roma.

No tea towel to assist with washing up the plates etc so used our own also bedside lamp had a blown globe, only small inconvenience but also only a small detail overlooked otherwise stay was good and can recommend ti other travellers.

Was a work trip, ample room to spread out and work, free Wifi was a bonus. Convenient for a variety of dining options all charge back. Very tastefully decorated. Nice and quiet location.

One of the nicest properties in Roma. Kitchenette was excellent for cooking a meal. Great full sized fridge/freezer, very comfortable sofa & a great bed all made for a wonderful night. There is an outdoor seating area with BBQ facilities situated in the centre of all units. One drawback however is that not all units have parking directly in front of them.

New and very good

Great new motel with coin-op laundry, mini gym and rec room, BBQ. Rooms have two-burner stove/hotplate for cooking. Very clean and comfortable.

these Studio Units are great to stay in for one night or one week. The problem is they are only in Roma and Toowoomba

Typical, standard motel room. But located on the main road and was very noisy with trucks.

Great to park for the night and prep for the next day's driving. Close to the main strip with it's great eating options.

This property is in an excellent location is top quality on every level the rooms are clean and fresh with parking outside your door, I would certainly recommend Athena and will use it again

Good stop over for work, had kitchen facilities which helps, small but modernised, close quarters which means you wake up with the miners warming their diesel engines at 5am!!!

A clean, beautiful property with an undercover area to enjoy an afternoon drink. We will definitely be staying here again.

This place was a bit of a mixed bag. Great facilities in the rooms and around the complex, but seemed to be frequented by a lot of workers (rather than holiday makers) who smoked a lot. Strong smell of cigarette smoke in my room, which permeated my belongings and was really disappointing.

Just an overnight stay, comfortable and easy access to local pubs etc. Able to walk around town with good viewing of Services Walk with bottle trees-well done

Central and comfortable

Centrally located with a full fridge and basic cooking facilities.

Very quiet clean great kitchen included

This place was well worth the money. You get almost a full kitchen minus an oven. Rooms are clean and spacious. My only two complaints was that the bed was a bit uncomfortable. And the parking bays are lit up so brightly that it’s like daylight in your room in the middle of the night. I had a restless sleep.

Rude customer service

As soon as we arrived in the evening i kindly requested a late check out, the response i got was not nice and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. We definitely wont be booking here again when we are in Roma

Some guests smoking at the front if their room’s door. I accidentally open my bedroom door and inhale the smoke. I need to be careful next time.

Excellent Value

We were impressed with our room and the establishment in general. The room was spacious with more storage space than most motels at which we have stayed. Everything was in first class working condition, the bed was comfortable and cleanliness could not be faulted. All this and the friendly and efficient reception makes the establishment as one to remember for the future.

Overnight stay

We have stayed here several times and like the comfort and facilities, including cooktop. It is also good value.

Comfortable self contained and bonus we had Netflix.

At check in they acted like border guards , rather than receptionists. Demanded to see the documents used to cross the border . Warning signs everywhere to clean up anything used in kitchen or bbq area. Otherwise ok

Second time staying. Excellent units, quiet, big screen tv with netflix, modern fitout, great kitchen facilities, quiet at night. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Roma!

Ended up not staying. Found the hotel on a pet friendly website only to be told on booking in they are not pet friendly. The hotel staff were very rude and we stayed elsewhere. I’m usually leaving glowing reviews but nothing nice to say here.

Driving Trip

It’s a nice set up for a motel style set up So you park right in front of your room and it’s great to unpack The reception staff is very helpful and lovely The bed was comfortable and the room is very clean Having a mini Kitchen helps with the food as you have a dining table It’s a great stop for a driving holiday And it’s close to main things

Its a nice quiet and very clean place to stay, i stayed just one night while travelling for work, i always come back here to stay, an excellent place.

When checking in she was very cranky I stayed there for 2 days and they did not clean or fix my room

This property is modern, clean, quiet and a brilliant stay. The rooms have everything you need, including working kitchen, large TV with Netflix, very comfy bed, excellent aircon/fan and clean bathroom. Can't fault the place at all.

We love that each unit has great kitchen facilities and there is a very appealing outdoor BBQ area

The room had all the facilities we needed for our stay. We both found the bed to be too firm, otherwise great.

Check in left a lot to be desired, no real clarity about what the rates for credit card payment was.

The room was massive. It was very clean and well set out. As a business traveller it was very functional and comfortable.
